I must know more about your Pedro journey. 😅You were meh and then found your obsession or you already liked him but thought he didn’t fit the part?

Oh! So my Pedro journey is because of Joel.

When he was cast, I wasn't really aware of him. I'd watched Game of Thrones and I liked him in it, but it didn't spark anything with me.

When I heard his casting announcement I was like... wait what? I was Jeffrey Dean Morgan or bust for the role. And I was, I guess disappointed, in the casting?

And because i'm a rational person with a deep deep love of this property, I started looking into his work. I watched Mando - and because I watched Mando, i read mando fanfiction, I was already on tumblr, and writing in a different fandom so it was an easy slip.

(special shout out to Stitches by @djarinsbeskar for leading me here)

And then I followed more people, and read more fanfiction and then saw the friendly open nature of the community here (or the people that i was choosing to follow anyway)

And then I jumped into @the-ginger-hedge-witch DMs and screeched like an unhinged banshee about RYLAB and because she's a good person she responded and we became good friends. and then i made more friends, and more connections and was welcomed here with open arms and kind hearts and deep support and affection.

It's been marvelous.

Happy birthday to one of the most incredible humans I've ever had the pleasure of not only knowing, but am lucky enough to call one of my closest friends, @the-ginger-hedge-witch.

When I came to our darling wives @disgruntledspacedad and @asta-lily with the idea of commissioning a piece from RYLAB, we all thought of the same scene almost instantly. One that encapsulated the warmth and affection and love this fic inspires in readers. The insanely talented @luluxa was an absolute dream to work with and paid so much attention to every single detail so that the scene and the emotions it invoked while reading could be captured in this piece.

I'll not weigh down this post with too much sappiness, but we love you so much Ren, for your friendship, for your fiendishly brilliant mind, for your massive heart and we hope that you have the most wonderful birthday on Tuesday!

first ever ship(s): Oh. I think Aragorn/Legolas and Nick Stokes/Greg Sanders were the first ones I actually began to follow. Oh gosh, this makes me feel old 🙈

currently working on: I feel really sad admitting this, but nothing much. It’s not that I don’t have ideas, but I have no energy to open a document… Internal sads is a real thing.

The last thing I worked on was the first chapter of Of Potions and Myths, I’m converting it to original fiction. I have the outline for 13 chapters but I’m taking it small step at a time.

fave piece of clothing: I have this red dress/shirt I bought from Rebdolls about a half a year back. I love how it looks on my body and even though I never imagined I could pull off red, damn it does give me a boost of confidence every time I pull it on.

comfort food: Salmon cooked over an open fire, potatoes and herb butter with lemon. Simple, perfect and never fails to make me feel million times better.

fave time of year: end of autumn, when the days are still warm, but nights are already dark.

fave fanfiction: So many to choose from!
