I kinda wish Ruby kept Penny's sword, as a reminder of Penny but also as something to help her fight with people in close combat

We see Ruby often struggling in close combat with people bc she's not good at hand to hand and Crescent Rose is made for ranged attacks and mostly to fight Grimm

Qrow would've had a similar problem had Harbinger not been made to be able to turn into a sword

but I also think it would be pretty boring if Ruby just straight up copied every detail of Harbinger into Crescent Rose so an extra weapon for close combat, just in case, would be useful and I genuinely think Penny's sword could've been it

At the same time I am awfully conscious that this could set Ruby back on her grieving

but it would, once again, contrast Jaune, who used Pyrrha's circlet to upgrade his shield after she died and he was also struggling with her loss for a long time

But he did get better, and I do believe that if Ruby kept the sword, it could also become a way to help her grieve

also it would reference her using one of Penny's old swords to fight at the Fall of Beacon after Penny died

Funny thing about about Cinder Branwen AUs and Cinder becomes the Third Rose-Xiao Long child AUs.....

.....Is that in the original Cinderella story (that is to say, where it is believed the concept actually originated from), the "Cinderella"'s name was Ye Xian of Wu, (or Ye Xian Wu, in modern format). And the characters that composed the name were the following Ye (葉): Meaning - leaf, petal, etc. Xian (限): Meaning - limit, boundary, encirclement, etc. Wu (烏): Meaning - black, crow, raven. So basically Ye Xian Wu could be loosely translated as Crow encircled by Roses. So yeah, Cinder Branwen AU has a mythological basis to it, if nothing else. Ain't that a hoot, @hadesisqueer?

They shouldn't make the merge between Ozpin and Oscar so. Loud. The glowy eyes and the pain and falling over and all that? Yeah, out with it. That's telling us a merge is happening. What happened to show don't tell? Why can't they show us? Subtly drop shit. Make Oscar say things Ozpin would say. Make him act more like Ozpin. Make them say each others names on accident. You don't need Oscar and Ozpin in all this obvious pain. It doesn't need to be so fucking out there. What the fuck happened to Show Don't Tell???

Future of RWBY

So Rooster Teeth is done and Warner Bros Discovery is selling of IPs like RWBY, Gen lock, etc

So I’m just thinking what will volume 10 and on be like as I’m sure RWBY at least will be bought

Like will it be in the same engine or a different 3d model engine?

Will it be completely different whether because of new writing, maybe starting over from volume 1 again, 3d to 2d, redesigns, etc

My wants are:

Keep it mostly the same but improve on the common flaws

Like people always have critiques about how much team RWBY is involved and fight scene quality post volume 2/3

So if a better production can fix those awesome

My fears are

Complete redoing as in not just remaking volume 1 with modern tech but completely changing it

Japan, I hear really enjoyed the school aspect of volume 1-3 and didn’t like RWBY after those volumes as much which can be said for everywhere but based on all the middle/high school anime they have plus Ice Queendom I can believe they really enjoyed the school section more

So I can see if picked up by a Japanese company they do it so that they are permanently at beacon or always in an academy setting which changes basically the whole story

My it depends are

General quality choices are up in the air

like some what if writing is better but the action sucks, if the team is different is it better or worse, are they going to make it more kid friendly or more adult oriented?

Like I might not mind if it goes from 3d to 2d but it depends who animated it as I will take some mappa quality RWBY but I wouldn’t look forward to some Flash animation quality RWBY

Welcome to the official Dearest Sibling RWBY AU page! Here is some doodles I had made for this page and for Christmas!

This AU is a what if - Pyrrha and Roman were actually siblings.

We will have two different stories

Dearest Brother- FANON(Roman ran away from home when Pyrrha was 3 ) follows a non canon way of things as we change backstories for characters and add In characters and change they fate of our for them as well.

Dearest Sister- CANON (Roman was abandoned as kid way before Pyrrha was born) keeps the same background for characters, like Roman being abandoned when he was young. We keep the deaths but we add more and follow the Canon more closely.

We will be changing certain canon events to better push the stories we wanna make. We are being very hush about the plot because the actual story will be wrote on another website, the link will be posted soon.

This page will be for chapter updates,questions, and art, even fanart! We will happily take criticism,just be aware we are doing this for fun and are people behind the screen too! Thank you!

I don't necessarily want Cinder to have a redemption arc, but I also don't want her to get killed. I think she can be the one to break the mold.

Torchwick picked a Fight with Ruby and Lost. (With some interference from a Grimm)

Marcus picked a Fight with Mercury and lost.

Adam picked a fight with Blake and Yang and lost.

Clover chose to fight Qrow and Tyrian, and lost. (which is honestly the dumbest choice of fights on this list. Qrow was on your side Ebi. You chose to fight him and the KNOWN SERIAL MURDER/ASSASSIN. YOU FUCKING DUMBASS)

Ironwood picked a Fight with Winter and, once again, he lost. (With some Winter Maiden interference, but eh.)

I think Cinder, Who deep down wants freedom more than power, or at least the power to be free, Because She's different, I think, than the others.

The others mentioned had something they were loyal to (Themself, Neo, Atlas/The Atlesian Military) While Cinder has been shown to only be as loyal as she needs to to survive.

Cinder Chose to flee once she got the Relic in Atlas. She actively left behind half of her objective instead of A) tyring to Kill Winter for the maiden powers, or B) Killing Jaune because he's been REALLY annoying for her. She chose Not to fight, Which for the Fall Maiden, the one to Bear the Crown of choice, I think means she'll choose what's best for her.

And that would be to Run. To live. She doesn't need, nor really deserve redemption (She deserves Redemption as much as Adam did, IMHO) But I think she'll be smart enough to Fold when the chips are down, and she realizes just how bad her hand is.
