one thing about quinn is he's always gonna be breaking some sort of record, but ESPECIALLY ones he's already set. like the canucks history for points in a season by defencemen is just a little freak man breaking his own record like 5 times

Since tensions and emotions are super high, I know people default to drastic measures and worst case scenarios, but I would like to remind everyone that there are still people working at Bungie.
A lot of comments online right now act as if there's no one there anymore and that it's totally okay to burn everything to the ground. But there are still employees there who are facing an incredibly difficult situation and they don't need the community to talk about it all as if they've all died.
It's not helping them or their laid off colleagues to talk about the game they work on as if it's gone and over. They still work on the game and that work will be difficult for them, emotionally and physically. I'm sure it's also not good to be the remaining employee and hear how your work is now worth nothing and "will suck" and be "soulless" because some of their coworkers are gone. It's literally the last thing they want to hear in a situation of complete demoralisation. It's not respectful to them or to the people laid off. This is a massive group project. There isn't a single person responsible for the soul of the game, all of them are. Some of them are gone, but many are not.
Many of the devs that we know and love are still there and will be still working on the game. We should respect their work instead of preemptively calling it soulless. Obviously the game will not be the same. That's not the main issue here. The main issue is that there are still developers who have jobs and who would probably like to keep those jobs and who still care deeply about their work and are passionate about the game and its community. So just be mindful of how you talk and engage with the situation. The remaining devs will have a tough time, especially with motivation and morale going forward; we don't have to add to it by labelling their efforts worthless. Most of all, they will for sure be overworked and understaffed and they don't need added difficulties and demands thrown on them.

Well it looks like we've got a reset on our hands again. Mark mentioned in the latest episode of Distractible that a company called OWC (Other World Computing) misled him with the information provided with their usb products and as a result is making editing Iron Lung more complicated than it should be.
I feel like that's more than enough ground to classify them as a brand that crossed Markiplier.

Revisiting the "ROCKSTAR" Album and realising how artist, creative and versatile the music team was, like EVERY single song was composed SO differently!?!? Classical, European classical, western, kawali, Rock like HARD Rock, Dark obsessive, and wth idek atp 🤯 all the songs LITERALLY goes with movie, with situation the movie is showing AND as the character develops, the lyrical intelligence develops too like it's the character that gets inspire from different genres and implements it to his music and that's how the music develops 💕
To all my desi moots if you have heard it tell me which is yours fav. Mine is literally the whole album but the mtl would be
Phir se udd chala (😭✨)
Kun faya (the peace it gives 💗)
Sadda haq (the lyrics 🤌🏻😤)
Tum ho (nth to say just listen 💕)
Nadaan parindey (the emotions with the echo vocals AND ARR singing 💔🙁✨)
HAWA HAWA (the European folk they used with hindi lyrics got me twirling and the storytelling ✨😩)
Aur ho (it sits on the same genre as "him and i" OR "don't blame me" Like it's a very dark obsessive sad song 🛐)
Katiya karu (good for sangeet in my wedding with mingyu🤭😉)
Jo bhi main (from an artists perspective it's a very deep song damnn)
Tagging the desi moots: @kkooongie @nishloves @nihyunluvskookie @yoonzinuhh @mangocustard16 @aaniag @bittersweet-folder @staranghae @wonwoos-wineparty @caramyisabitchforsvtandbts @etherealyoungk @leewonkyeom @neejaatjeh @woozvc @weird-bookworm @rubywonu @seokminded @waldau @joonsytip @smileycarat @nonononranghaee

I've been jumping back and forth between my (Mostly) Good Playthru of WOTR and my Asheera replay of BG3, and it's so interesting having these games shown in stark contrast so close to one another.
I am frothing at the mouth for Anevia/Irabeth fic though. Gotta go digging...

god i just cannot get over how every time sabo moves up in the story all he ends up getting is more weight on his shoulders. when he becomes chief of staff (or the events leading up to it, i assume) kuma is missing, dragon is more MIA than not, and ivankov is in prison. now HE'S in charge of holding the revolution together. he's twenty years old! the people who raised him are either gone or in trouble, and by the time he gets them back, everyone's beginning to get used to sabo being in charge. then he survives a meeting with the five elders and gets framed for murder and his status just fucking blows up overnight!! he becomes a figurehead of the revolution and on top of his promise to stay alive for his little brother and his self-imposed need to carry on ace's legacy (and cobra's, now) SO many people are looking towards him as a symbol of resilience. there are so many eyes on him, looking at him as either a threat that needs to be silenced or a godlike figure that can withstand anything. he can't show pain or displeasure and has even less slack to allow himself a moment of weakness- sabo has no space to slip up, ever, because people NEED him to be unshakable. himself most of all. god

Yes people are fucking dying and no I don't ever feel like. Great about people being killed in missile strikes.
But I also don't feel great about decades of civilians, including over 2,100 children in the last 20 years, being killed both by missile strikes and by being shot or beaten to death in the street.
250 people were killed in the Hamas rocket attacks on Saturday, which is around the same as the number of Palestinian people the Israeli security forces had murdered this year before Saturday, and significantly less than they've killed since Saturday.
look the people are not the state and despite Israel being an apartheid colony, being an Israeli citizen doesn't necessarily imply 100% agreement. It's been 70 years and 3 generations since Israel was established as a state and the majority of Israeli civilians now didn't choose to come, they're living in the country they were born (although the same is not so much true for people living in Gaza who have recently occupied the stolen homes of Palestinians). Israelis are human people with lives and hopes and passions and deaths of any person are tragic.
BUT.
Palestinians are human people with lives and hopes and passions and their lives matter just as much and are snuffed out without the international community batting an eye - I remind you again. 212 Palestinians including 38 children were murdered this year before this weekend's missile strikes and if you didn't give a shit until Hamas killed the same number of Israelis at which point everyone went OH MY GOD THE HUMANITY HOW COULD PALESTINIANS DO THIS (while Israel killed 300+ more Palestinians in under 24 hours) that's bc uhhhh you're fucking racist and don't think Palestinian lives are as important as Israeli ones
so like. sure we can acknowledge that 250 Israeli civilians' deaths are a tragedy, if we can also agree that the 300+ Palestinian civilians killed in retaliatory strikes are a tragedy and most importantly if we can agree that the 200+ Palestinians killed in 2023 before the Hamas strikes this weekend are not just a tragedy but a deliberate atrocity.
in January the Israeli government made it vocally clear before the UN than not only do they consider the occupation of Palestine permanent, they are explicitly focused on taking over as much Palestinian land as possible in perpetuity. Since then this whole year there have been a total of only FOUR (nonconsecutive) FULL WEEKS in which NO Palestines were killed by Israel (compared to only 8 weeks in which Israelis WERE killed, of which 2 incidents were friendly fire from another IDF member)
It's legitimately tragic when people are killed. And Israel has been systematically killing Palestinians to the degree there are Palestinian casualties recorded about 3 days in every 5 this year, usually multiple, with displacements, demolitions, injuries, arrests and beatings recorded almost every single day. I do not know how LITERALLY anyone can look at the numbers from this year, let alone the last 75, and conclude that Israel is the victim of unprovoked violence.
#red said#i note again. ISRAEL THE STATE provoked the violence which ISRAELI PEOPLE face regardless of their political beliefs#Israel's government does not represent the beliefs of all Israelis. no state does.#Israelis live on stolen land in an apartheid state. some of them chose to do so and to enthusiastically participate and some don't.#the Israeli people en masse are as responsible for the Israeli state as the American people are for the American state#or the British people for the British state#which is to say they run the gamut from thinking the government doesn't go far enough to protesting constantly#Israeli doesn't mean evil. Israeli people are people like anyone else. and resisting apartheid from within an apartheid state#isn't easy and a lot of Israelis do. and even if they don't they're still human people.#Israel as a state like most colonial states puts work into propaganda fear and dehumanisation of the other.#people are responsible for breaking out of that but they're not personally culpable for the crimes of their country#it fucking sucks. that Israeli civilians are killed indiscriminately as part of this conflict.#IT JUST ALSO FUCKING SUCKS THAT PALESTINIAN CIVILIANS ARE KILLED DISPLACED AND IMPRISONED#WHETHER OR NOT THE NATIONS ARE INVOLVED IN DIRECT VIOLENT CONFLICT#Israeli civilians are collateral casualties in violence which is happening bc Palestinians would like to stop being killed almost daily#and that sucks. it isn't a good thing and i don't delight in their deaths. the people are not the state.#but it also sucks that Palestinian people are killed at a rate of 15-60 every month regardless of what if anything happens to Israeli people#prior to this week the highest monthly conflict-related death toll for Israel was 7. the lowest for Palestine was 12.#and btw at least 3 Israeli deaths recorded were cases of one IDF member accidentally shooting another while trying to kill a Palestinian#in September 0 Israelis were killed by Palestinians and yet 15 Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces.#that's not to pretend it's good for Israelis to die. it's to point out that the violence of Palestinians against Israelis is in desperation#while the violence of Israelis against Palestinians is of opportunity.#where Israeli noncombatants are killed by Palestinian forces it's almost always collateral damage. and to be clear that is still a tragedy.#Palestinian noncombatants are regularly collateral damage but they're ALSO singled out and shot dead in the street#and that's a much more deliberate act.#if a 13yo is killed in a missile strike. if a 13yo is hit by a car. if a 13yo is shot by a gunman. all those are tragedies.#for the victim. they're dead however they die. for their families it's the same level of grief.#but there is a DIFFERENCE. between knowing your actions may kill children. and putting a child in your sights and shooting them dead.#that kind of targeted violence against specific individual civilians is something Israeli forces do to Palestinians.#it isn't something that is on record as happening the other way around

Kakeru Tatagami Headcanons
Assorted Headcanons about the younger Tatagami brother (I love him so much, he’s the best) <3
Goes to the International School of Advanced Athletics in New York for BMX and beyblade.
Got into his school on a scholarship for his past placing in competition.
Bedroom walls are decorated with old skateboards and bike wheels he has Kyoya decorate for him.
Calls Kyoya by variations of his name... including Yo-Yo.
Made his bey himself when he was just 10 years old.
Is extremely good at engineering but finds the professional side of it boring.
Will go on to win an Olympic Gold in BMX.
Eventually adds a modified version of Kyoya’s old jacket to his blader uniform.
Loves sour candy.
Came out to his dad with Kyoya at the same time because he didn’t want to do it alone.
Does not even have a learners permit yet but still rides motocycles and drives anyway, something both Kyoya and his dad explicitly tell him not to.
ADHD sibling to Kyoya’s autism.
Absolutely idolizes Kyoya and the other members of Team Wild Fang as well, seeing the others as bonus siblings (they baby him as much as Kyoya does).
Very outgoing and social.
Is one of a very small group of people who can make fun of Kyoya with no consequences.
Really wants to battle Gingka... he is really banned from battling Gingka.
Wears a fang charm in Kyoya’s honor.
Ends up dating Sora and Ryuto, much to his older brother’s absolute horror at his choices.
Becomes fast friends with Yu Tendo once they met, also to Kyoya’s (and Tsubasa’s) absolute horror.
Is not a fan of the dark or small spaces.
Loves Savannah nearly as much as his brother does and has duel citizenship.

After watching Mollymauk sacrifice himself to save the rest of the Mighty Nein twice, after the resurrection ritual he poured his whole heart into fails to bring his Circus Man back…
Do you think Caleb tries to find an item enchanted with Death Ward to give to Kingsley as a gift? Do you think about how the Periapt or Wound Closure couldn’t save Molly, but Caleb still took it anyway? Do you think he’d ever want to return the favor, give Tealeaf a little charm to keep him safe—
