Tubbo pointing a finger at Fit, accusing him of being bugged, kicked me in the head this morning.

Tubbo, fresh off the ice block prison for two weeks, is already In with two of the more reclusive islanders, who the Federation have arguably the least active information about: Fit and Phil.

The former is on regularly with him as part of the “early crew”, keeping an eye on him and acting in an older brother capacity - supporting and playfully bullying teasing him in turn. The latter is a friend and mentor figure who immediately takes him under his wing without hesitation once Tubbo’s out of the ice.

Individuals who often keep their own counsel, save to confide in each other. Not everything, no, but enough that there’s a strong bond of trust. An understanding that some things are on a need-to-know basis.

And they bring Tubbo in to their circle without batting an eyelid.

And in these 2 and a bit weeks:

The existence of Ramón’s create furnaces are brought to the Fed’s attention only after Tubbo learns about them; are changed by him, which may have potentially jeopardised the previous protections against spying within the elevator shaft.

Fit gets little to no direct work from the Federation for cleaning, and Tubbo starts picking away at his closed mouth secrets.

Cucurucho stalks Tubbo - who is in the company of Phil’s eggs - to the Uppies stone nest, and spies on them and their (server lagged) conversation.

Tubbo is present and party to the lavacast placed over the presidential office, one of only three present for it. Cucurucho later asks people at Spawn who did it, which no one knows (or at least willingly gives) the answer to.

The “Cage for a Cage” book wasn’t signed, but Tubbo knows Phil wrote it and even read it before the blocks near it were broken and they descended down.

Tubbo was present after the rescue of Pac and Forever, when Cellbit declares Phil one of the heads of Ordo Theoritas in acknowledgement of his aid and capabilities.

On top of that, Tubbo has been speed running the QSMP experience, and has arguably been a huge thorn in Cucurucho’s side the entire time through his antics. He’s done more nonsense than the Brazilians and only received a few gunshot wounds to show for it (“only” she says lol). In comparison, Cellbit was on the receiving end of far worse punishments for the small crime of an iron farm.

And Cucurucho has commented that Tubbo WILL be brought in line, eventually.

That bit is as suspicious as it is worrying. Unless you consider how Tubbo goes after answers like a dog with a bone: he’s relentless, he will approach and try from different angles. People underestimate him due to his relative youth and hyperactive puppy eagerness - but he’s a very smart lad who’s persistence is as admirable as it is annoying.

Which made me sit up straight when I realised what may be happening: the Federation is using Tubbo to sniff out secrets, to flush out the people they know they need to keep a close eye on by provoking them into flight - or fight, as the case may be. And they’ll let him keep doing that until they no longer have need of him, no doubt ready to set him up with breaking a law so Foolish has an excuse to use his arrest warrant.

All this to say: when you point a finger at someone, there are three pointing back directly at you. Fitmc isn’t the one who’s bugged. Tubbo is.

I think one of the points that stood out to me about Quackity's statement is how professional it sounded and how he knew exactly how to move forward in a situation like this, despite how messy it is. It was short, it was to the point, it was without extraneous excuses or emotion, and it emphasized what went wrong and how he will fix it. End statement.

And I think something that jumped out to me is that- Quackity's trained in this. The dude went to law school. He could probably look at this mess and pick out what HR laws were broken, if any, and how it would be compensated in court, which in turn means he can then go and do that compensating. The statement sounds formal and trustworthy because I bet Quackity's had to do debate-style speeches and public speaking classes. He likely studied so he can put together a statement like this that would hold water in the court of public opinion. Maybe with the intent that such skills would be for a client, yeah, but it still carries over here, which is damn good because the QSMP mess is flaming harder that the 2020s dumpster fire merch tumblr started selling a while back.

I'm fairly certain the QSMP will survive this and with streamers like Badboyhalo and dedicated admins who love their jobs like Richas (Pomme and Richas have both told the audience in QnA segments on Bad's streams not to tell them to sleep, they know what they're doing), we'll be getting content in the interim while things are worked out, too. But I don't think we'll be reaching the level of popularity the QSMP had a few months back. Late 2023 to early 2024 has been nothing but blow after blow to the server, first with purgatory 1, then Forever, the backlash and horrible racism against the Brazilians and the targeting of Cellbit in particular, then Wilbur, then this... Yeah. I don't see the server escaping unscathed from this, there'll forever be drama tied to its name which is the last thing Quackity wanted from his project.

However, people love this whole thing. It's done what it's set out to do and created many genuine friendships and economic opportunities for the CCs. It's Quackity's passion project, a love carried to many other CCs, not to mention the fans. It's too beloved to die completely and given how long the admins stuck it out despite the working conditions, I genuinely think that most of the good members of the cast and crew will be sticking it out for the long haul. We just have to be patient and cautiously hopeful.

Okay so so like. I feel like something people should know is that these cracks in team soulfire have been there since day one, firstly, and that bad and pierre consistently don't follow tubbo on things that they consider necessary to win, and that I want to talk about all that because this shit yesterday was a long time coming

(Obligatory /rp for all of this I'm not putting q in front of all that)

To start, on quite literally day one two people put their name into the ring for leader, which were bad and tubbo, and tubbo won by virtue of being more enthused about it. And since then, he's been a great leader for both morale and grinding, with bad and Tina as Co leaders of sorts. This was most apparent in the early days, where bad would gather the team together and help keep track and organize where tubbo had wandered off. Tina was also super helpful, because she led the non- combat crew and helped give people stuff to do and is really good at keeping up team morale.

All of that's to say, blue team has excellent internal leadership when they're functioning together and have a shared goal, which was purely the pvp and uhc style of combat they took up on early days. But that has changed over the course of the event

One of the more prominent examples is when tubbo was trying to repair relations with red and specifically told bad to lay off fighting them, only for him and pierre to team up with etoiles to try for kills- which, I'm sure they felt was necessary to win.but I bring this up to illustrate how they will not follow orders if they think it's necessary to win by doing what they're told not to

This is part of why blues rep is so fucked, especially due to bad, because he tends to do stuff thats "bad manners" and stretch the rules as far as possibly for victory, in addition to a loooot of shittalk, which has been discussed in some post team calls n stuff by tubbo y Tina but I digress since that's not lore lmaooo. But it's interesting to consider to me since while nothing is explicitly outlawed on qsmp, there is shit that once you do, there's no going back- bads rep with red, and pierre now too, and blue generally is gonna suck because of yesterday. And why is that?

Because they choose to unbalance scales that everyone thought could be balanced, and *everyone* knew the stakes listed in the tweet quackity studios made. It was very very clear, no matter the explaining away of "death of the teams" or whatever. And it's interesting to me!!! Because if you watched blues pov yesterday, you'd know how tubbo spent an hour long call with bbh early on in the morning explaining why they needed to balance the scales, and that bbh was prepared to-do that but was very paranoid that they were going to backstab them, and pierre was focused entirely on winning even at the expense of the other team. Which is some interesting stakes tbh!!!

Because like, literally a few days ago they were fucked over by green who attacked their egg statue when they had an alliance, and were wary as a result. Even if green hadn't killed their egg it was still a breach of trust, which fueled both bad and pierres fear about green fucking them Over- when like, in a few minutes of thought, you'd realize that green can't have gotten the stuff to turn in that many quests last minute, not with blue having been prepping all day as a unit to prepare to counter this if it happened.

^ but here I take for granted those moments to think in an outside perspective. So. Moving on

This is all to say- this was always going to happen. And probably in this way too, because bad is a paranoid guy who's very invested in his own survival and pierre has been worn down into being extremely focused on victory above all else. And im excited to see the consequences of that! Because killing other islanders will have that for surrrre like I'm excited for today

And like to be clear I get wanting to preserve your own life at the cost of others but likeeeee. Part of that is absolutely a No going back because it's not gonna look good to kill a team who didn't log on most of the day to anyone who survives 😭. and it'll be interesting to see how that plays out tbh!

Because the more aggressive members (bad n pierre) of the blue team have most of the ire, and the rest of blue might be offered a spot with bolas the way tubbo was- but I doubt they'll take it. Though we'll have to see how this plays out

Anyhow I have really disorganized thoughts sorry if this doesn't make sense, I just like overall wanted to say- what happened was in a long line of shit thats happened, I'm interested in seeing the fallout

(Though like for all I say this was always gonna happen, those characters made a choice that they didn't have to because they wanted to survive above all else. And that's the fun of these types of games.)

(Also anyone else crazy about the dramatic irony of tubbo wanting to save his friends with the even points and almost killed them all. That went hard)

Errrrrmmmmmm my first time writing qsmp..... just a short drabble while i anxiously await forever and bads first post-purgatory interaction </3

Another lovely day on the QSMP server.

President Forever is out and about, assuring his presence around town. After the events of purgatory, the residents were left with scrapes and bruises, but not to their relationships.

Forever hadn't been around for too long, only waking up briefly for a few hours after the ship landed to drag himself off the boat and crawl into bed. This was the longest he'd been awake since, and he'd used his time to check on the eggs in the hospital, and make his presence known amongst the islanders that he had seen today.

Pac, Fit, Tubbo, the early risers. He'd briefly seen Phil earlier coming out of the hospital, he had spent the night in there sitting next to Tallulah and Chayanne's beds and was returning to his house in the wall. They had briefly stood to chat, "Have you uh... who all have you seen today?" Phil had asked him, looking nervous and a little tired.

"Hm... Tubbo, Fit, Pac, I think i spotted someone else earlier but im not sure, why do you ask?" Forever responded in kind, anxious to get to his son as soon as possible. "You haven't seen Bad?" Phil asked, he normally wakes up later on, but somehow he always knows when Forever's around, "...Nevermind, i gotta go, good luck!" He shoved off, gingerly ruffling his sore and healing wings as he went, clutching his backpack to his body.

An odd interaction to start his day, but Quesadilla island is always a little odd! Especially with the morning crew, weird happenings were pretty common! And anyway, it was quickly forgotten when Richas entered his view... his little egg..

Speaking of eggs, while walking along the path of spawn a soft pattering could be heard of little egg feet! Forever stopped in his tracks, surprised but excited to see which little one was running up to greet him!

A black top hat entered his view, circling around his feet. Forever laughed fondly, "Dapper!" he cried out, "You're here! You're alive how are you!" He waited patiently as the egg started scribbling on the sign, "MR. PRESIDENT!" she announced excitedly, jumping around at his feet.

"Dapper, my boy, where is-?" Forever started to speak before being interrupted by a familiar voice, "Dapper!" Badboyhalo called out to the little egg, chasing after them with his tail whipping wildly behind him, "What did i tell you about running off, dapper! I can't keep up, you've gotta be careful!"

Bad looked worse for wear, more so than usual. His clothes were stained in blood and dirt and mud, his cyan eye stared Forever in the face as if it were trying to commit a personal offense against him.

He was still beautiful.

"Ah, Badboy! How are you! You look like a mess!" Forever greeted him happily, dragging Bad into a tight squeeze. Bad Didnt hug back, as he usually does, but this time he seemed a little different.

Dapper was anxiously fretting around their feet, seemingly trying to get Forever's attention. Unfortunately for them, he was too preoccupied with his beloved at the moment. He held onto bad's shoulders, gripping him at arms length. Unfortunately all he got back from Bad was a blank but friendly stare, punctuated by a hard blink, "Hi! It's nice to meet you! Have we met before?"

Dapper stills at their feet, done placing frantic signs. Forever's blood turns to ice.

it’s Stupid Hours (aka way too early in the morning) and after 0.2 seconds of searching on YouTube ive come to the conclusion that there is no qsmp John Mulaney “The One Thing” animatic yet and ive gotta say guys. im disappointed.(/lh) im so used to every fandom having at least one The One Thing animatic that realizing there isn’t one for qsmp is bonkers to me. i’ve watched so many of these over the years that if you played The One Thing audio, i could probably recite it in time w the audio (i won’t say from memory bc my memory is shit.)

anyway here’s what i would personally do for a The One Thing animatic if i could draw. remember that this is gonna be skewed to the POVs im more familiar with so im sorry if your cubito doesn’t make it into the role you’d expect. i tried to include as many people as possible.

Edit: "Back in high school..." - not really necessary, but i imagine this story/"AU" taking place during the egg disappearance, which would explain the overly chaotic behavior of the islanders. not that they ever need a reason to be chaotic.

Narrator - Charlie. he’s not on the server as often but bc of that he would make a good “outside” pov narrator. also he’s just a got a really quick-with-it type of humor, cracking jokes and puns and doing wordplay/inprov’d songs at the drop of a hat, and he also loves telling stories.

Mr. Macnimara - Cucurucho. “And Mr. Macnimara was an asshole.” need i say more?

Jake Macnimara - Jaiden. beloved bird of the Federation, though that absolutely would not stop her from throwing a wild party for her friends in their offices if she could. Edit: also Quackity would make a really good option here. Cringefail man that the Federation likes to toy with, we love to see it. Also with his shit luck it makes sense that a party that he decides to host at the Fed offices (a bad idea in the first place tbf) would blow up in his face so hard.

(Bonus: Mrs. Macnimara - the Duck. the Watcher. ElQuackity. idk who’s funnier just whoever your heart desires.)

“And we all got up individually and thought: okay, let’s go over there, and destroy the place.” - split screen of Cellbit, Baghera, Maxo, and Bad. there could be more, like Mike, Etoiles, Phil, Tubbo, really anyone who hates the Federation and/or has an affinity for chaos. Foolish would be a really fucking funny option for this one because yeah he works for the Feds but He Absolutely Would. all of the characters would get up calmly, and on the word “destroy” flip to a Chaos Mode Engaged expression (Cellbit with a grin and bloodstains on his cheeks, Baghera w flames behind her and in her eyes, etc etc)

“People were drinking like it was the civil war and a doctor was coming to saw our legs off” - Tubbo and his backpack of 3749588383 chainsaws. tazerraft could also be a good option considering Pac’s love of beheading people and Mike’s generally unhinged behavior. tbh just anyone/everyone in morning crew.

Person who breaks the pool table - Etoiles. someone would dare him to and he’d get so fucking excited he would absolutely HURL himself at that pool table. (dogboy behavior)

Person who takes a shit on the computer - … look ive been blankly staring at this one for like 7 fucking minutes. my heart says Aypierre but i could not tell you why. just. anyone who would absolutely do some rancid, unhinged shit when given the opportunity. Foolish again maybe. idk.

Edit: "Something something, police." - Jaiden, if she isn't Jake Macnimara. She would totally say it in a "LOL UH-OH" manner. If not, I could also imagine Missa, Bagi, or Fit nervously/bluntly trying to warn people while laughing.

“Fuck da police!” - “Fuck da Feds!”/“Fuck da Federation!” from what i can tell, Charlie doesn’t have an active animosity towards the Federation, but a lot of his friends do, and he will do anything, ANYTHING to commit to the bit. he will do ANYTHING for the funnies, and if he thinks that shouting “Fuck da Feds!” at the top of his lungs is going to get a reaction out of people, he absolutely will.

Edit: "'I served my nickel, you come and take me!' confidence." - Mike. I have such a strong mental image of Mike drunkenly shouting this while Pac and Fit hold him up/hold him back. Fuga references my beloved. Also the fact that he was put in a Fed freezer for a while.

The Police - the Federation workers. obviously. bonus points for one unnamed guard/officer being impressed like “wooooow :0” and then widening the shot to reveal an unamused Agent 18 standing next to them, leaning into his walkie talkie saying, “Get the paddy wagon.”

“SCATTER!” - Phil. (if you know you know.) generally, people who don’t know Phil tend to think he’s pretty chill, so no one would expect him to do something like that. also when Charlie says “And my friend John—” it would cut to a ‘pause screen’ over the scene, Charlie coming on screen to clarify the “father” and “baby” parts by providing helpful pop-up images of family pictures with Chayanne, Tallulah, and Missa on screen. Resumes, presses play and the screen clears: “He grabbed a 40…”

Edit: "Until, two years later..." - again, not really necessary, but it could be something like, "Until, after Purgatory..."

Alex (guy who stole the photos) - Roier. HEAR ME OUT. Roier, similar to Phil, is just such an unassuming guy. he’s cheery and laughs a lot and cracks jokes, but deep down, he’s smart and he’s got a burning HATRED for the Federation. he’s not the kind of guy to start fights, but with everyone else causing chaos at the party, breaking shit in the offices/house, he would absolutely take the opportunity to steal Federation documents for his husband’s investigations. (or antique photos, if you want to keep with the high school setting/theme.) i mean he stole a fucking lamp from their offices once just because there was so much shit going on and he knew the Feds probably wouldn’t notice (iirc).

Edit: SOMETHING I FORGOT TO MENTION ABOUT ROIER. you could totally make the line “because it’s the one thing you can’t replace” a reflection of Bobby, who the Federation ‘killed’, so now he’s getting back at them. (i’ve put way too much thought into this.)

anyway that’s all! feel free to contribute if u want i just really love The One Thing. it’s an older fandom meme but yeah it still checks out.

This is such a random issue, but morning crew is a dynamic not just the people who wake up “early” for qsmp. It’s a group of people (Tubbo, Pac, and Fit) who hang out constantly, and have a more familial love for each other. Mike and Phil just aren’t part of morning crew, (in mikes case this is a very much a yet) phil just isn’t part of that dynamic, and Mike wasn’t well awake. Mike, Fit, and Pac are a different group (hideandseektrio) that’s probably going to end up merging with current morning crew. Once Pac comes back and all 4 start hanging out together, it’ll really be a test of their dynamic together. Mike already has a familial bound with Pac and Fit in the same vein but Tubbo just isn’t Mike’s family yet, and Mike just isn’t Tubbo’s. Hopefully soon though, im sure it’ll be easy to flow into.

So, Roier is a yellow pearl assigned to yellow diamond. He’s loyal, protective, but is known to gossip. Basically he’s similar to yellow pearl in the show but with more roier-isms. Yellow diamond is someone other than stampy in this concept, because I thought of someone who would be really funny and I’m sticking with it. I tried to make the third outfit reflect the diamond like in the show but I’m not sure how obvious it comes across. Either way I’m drawing him next so just wait and see ;)

For relationships other than his diamond, Roier trusts a certain Lapis Lazuli with his life and are always seen together whenever he isn’t working. After a few days on Earth, she’s already referring to herself as Jaiden. He also does not care for Joel, mainly because he’s an off color pearl. Lots of I’m perfect and therefore superior behavior which Joel also doesn’t care for. Other than that, they’re more like colleagues than acquaintances. Far far in the future, when Roier does chill out on Earth, their interactions are awkward to say the least (very “oh yeah we used to work together thousands of years ago and did not like each other”) but they cope eventually.

I’d imagine Roier comes to Earth long after the shattering of Pink Diamond and the great gem war. He’s still loyal to the diamonds during the rise of rebels and runaways, as seen in the life crew. Though eventually, he has to make a tough decision, perhaps involving said Lapis and a certain Tiger’s Eye and escapes to Earth. He does not like it and behaves similarly to Peridot early. However, much like Peridot and Camp Pininghearts, what really sells him on Earth is the media, specifically Spiderman. He’s just enthralled and begins to love Earth for it.

Why? Because it’s funny :D

im still so hyped over oceanic timezones (/eastern timezones would be the more accurate term) being added to the qsmp dude. i dont have to play guessing games trying to figure out what time it is for the streamer/how long theyre going to be live for because acau is just 2 hours behind me. and its just so!!!!!! So like,,, everyone on the QSMP used to be a pirate crew and one day they go to an island where it is told that the King’s greatest treasure lies there (and as pirates they gotta take it)

But instead of like gold n shit it’s dragon eggs :O which obviously they take. But because of this, they all decide to split up to take care of their eggs because if they keep being pirates, the kingdom will find them faster and take their kids!!!11!

Present time, Juanaflippa’s actually knows about the pirate crew and the stories bc Charlie tells them (and draws them out) to her as bedtime stories. Of course Charlie changes a few details and names but the main plot is still there

Now it’s Juanaflippa’s 9th birthday and her two best friends are coming over to have a sleepover!!! Everyone arrives pretty early so the kiddos go to Juana’s room to go play n everything until Cucurucho arrives and wants to know where their kids are.

Max who went to the bathroom sneaks into Juana’s room to tell them all to hide in the special hiding spot. (All the parents have this for their kid just in case) He tells them all to cover the hole and afterwards count to 10, as if they were playing hide-n-seek

But ah shit Cucurucho takes the parents and fucks off and when the kids come out to see the prince take away their parents, Juanaflippa recognizes Cucurucho from the story Charlie and Mariana tells her and is like “ah shit our parents were pirates”

Now it’s up to Juanaflippa, Tilin, and Trump to try to find the rest of the crew and save their parents!1!1!1 [wacky hijinks ensues]

Anyways thanks for reading this far ahead, of course this isn’t perfect or anythint but its my silly idea thag i might work on more later and when ors not barely like 1 am

Poking some of the xcom crossover backstories again, and Philza's is being extremely annoying. Not because he does anything especially special in it (actual doing stuff wise, about the same as Fit), but because I need to explain backstory between him and multiple other characters. With Fit and Wilbur and Tubbo and Niki's dynamics all necessitating he's known them a while, plus yk Kristin and Missa, there's just. So many moving parts.

I should probably also add Wilbur to the list, but blegh. (Currently its Tubbo, Fit, and Philza for this infodump, just to round off the morning crew as Pac and Mike were done already. And therefore the guys I have the clearest ideas on. Think I'd probably then want to do some Spanish speakers then some French speakers, just to make sure I flesh out a mixture of languages, but I'd have to pick which. Spreen is kinda under Missa's and Fit's rather than his own as he's not main cast (like Kristin is under Phil's). Maxo seems like a fun choice. Roier obviously needs one as like, the most online Spanish QSMP member. Luzu/Arin also are about, but not until late, and Vegetta but I like 4-ish characters at a time so might save him and do him with Foolish. tbh Foolish-Vegetta-Roier-Luzu/Arin would be a decent set to do at once, so maybe them and a seperate for Missa and Maxo? With other bits of catchup? IDK I should finish early hours English-speaking players first. But planning what i want to do is always more fun than writing it.

French wise... Etoiles, Aypierre are most commonly seen in thing, Baghera's about, I'm not sure Antoine or Kameto actually have anything to do but like the Brazilians I might do them in one go. Even if some aren't doing much on screen.
