More Outerverse. I very much suck with Humans, and anything with them.
The Creature from/Outerform is based on an Alien Species that's in this AU. May draw one day if y'all want to see them.

To the outerverse...
Tumblr media
Whatever it was, however it got there, it definitely did not belong where it was sitting.
Laid slumped in on itself unceremoniously, like a toy some gargantuan child had long since abandoned out of boredom, was a metal giant. Heavy armor-shaped plates painted in stark snow white, shapes of deep blue-violet and red in the joints dotted with glistening green glass, and with strangely seamless metal arms, the vaguely humanoid shape was propped up loosely only by the massive geometric spires jutting from its back like abstract wings, their tips having bored into the ground behind it.
It’s shoulders were slack, the intricate hands lay open and slack it its sides, one knee was bent in an almost casual lounge, and its head was lolled to the side, the rough approximation of a face staring down— golden glassy ‘eyes’ dead and quiet and aimless. The sound of seawater pouring off its form in trickling streams pattered through the air like rain, dripping from under armor plates and joints. Scattered around it was what looked like fresh seaweed and flora gunk— and of course all the water and mud that pooled around it. Everything smelled like brisk salt and wet metal.
ᵥᵣᵣᵣᵣ...
But, that was only more odd, wasn't it?
ᵥᵣᵣᵣᵣ… ᵣᵣ… ᵣᵣ...
Even buckled over it was well over 10 meters tall, and had to be twice as big if unfolded. But it was just… there. Just there. If there was any clue at all to how it ended up there, it was doing a good job at staying hidden. Despite being soaked, it wasn’t actually in water. There was no path to or from the nearest water, no crushed trees, no giant footprints, not even where it lay was there enough of an impact site that would imply that it fell.
So, it was just… there, and no where else.
Vrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrm—
And then all at once, the golden eyes flickered unsurely with light, and a low whirr started to build in the air. A few of the fingers flexed, servos somewhere within the metal started moving. The creaking of metal rumbled out from it’s chest, followed by a far too sharp and far too loud pneumatic clunks, and finally the heavy mechanical groan of the entire chest slowly and smoothly pulling back. The clear shape of a hatchway formed in the shaded light that made it past the breastplate’s shadow, and then— hsssssshunkh.
The hatch unsealed with a pop, then began to quickly lift. A human hand grappled onto the edge of the frame, whiteknuckled and very very unsteadily, from within as the door's shadow slowly drew up and away.

Given the ever growing popularity of The Sandman thanks to the recent live action adaptation, I think now would be a good time to discuss the term Outerversal and what that means in the context of how strong a character is, as The Sandman comic features some of the most iconic Outerversal characters in the entire vs community. That and Neil Gaiman has a Tumblr so if I get anything wrong Neil can just correct me.
Now, to understand what Outerversal means, we must first understand Dimensional Tiering. This is when a character who is higher dimensional is treated as infinitely stronger than those who are lower dimensional. This is because, no matter how strong you are within your dimensional level, you will only ever be a flat surface to a higher dimensional being. As far as a 4d being is concerned, we are all just fictional characters and flat surfaces. Similarly, Thanos may have infinite power with the Infinity Gauntlet, but he's never going to be a threat to us because as far as we're concerned, he simply doesn't exist. Such is the gap between higher and lower dimensional entities.
Now, imagine a ladder that extends upwards forever, with each individual rung being a higher dimension than the ones below. Now imagine that that entire ladder is merely a single rung in a bigger ladder, which itself is a rung in a much bigger ladder. An endless ladder of ladders, each infinitely bigger than the last and infinitely smaller than the one above them. No matter how many of these endless ladders you climb, no matter if you even reach the top, you will still not be anywhere near as big as an Outerversal character.
Because dimensions, no matter how many of them their are, are completely meaningless to Outerversal characters. You cannot reach Outerversal by stacking infinities. It's a fool's effort. There is no real definition of "stronger" at such a level, as the terms that we'd normally use to quantify such things are completely irrelevant to them. Strength, speed, it is all purely meaningless. Power beyond power. That is what Outerversal means.
This is the level that the Endless opporate at. They are primal truths of the Presence's creation, which itself contains Outerversal realms such as Limbo, the Monitor Sphere, and The Source Wall. They exist wherever their concepts exist, including in realms as vast as The Darkness and The Void.
As you can see here on the DC Multiverse Map:
Tumblr media
This places them near the top of the DC Cosmology.
I hope this informs your viewing experience of the show going forward.
For the record, this isn't a level of power unique to DC or The Sandman. Marvel, DC, Lovecraft, Shin Megami Tensei, SCP, hell, even Homestuck reaches this level of power. I'm serious, go and replay Feferi's Pesterquest route with this in mind, I think you'll be supprised.
Although, I don't think you can expect me to actually use Outerversal characters in Fictional Throwdown Friday. Not only are such characters simply so big that defining their limits is just fucking stupid, but the discussion surrounding them would just devolve into "I transcend more infinites than you". It's not exactly a stimulating discussion and it kinda sounds like two kids arguing on the playground. "My Infinity is bigger than yours! Nanana boo boo!"

anyways, I'm still under full hyperfixation rush,,
hopefully it lasts a while longer cause this is literally my most worked out AU/story. like damn. and y'all seem to relatively like it too,, so win-win
(also, fun fact, the story's full "title" is 'Project Outerverse: An Unfortunate Case'. Project Outerverse is the mix of every single universe and story a friend and I create. it has a lot more OC stuff too, but I count this there as well)

I refer to the Outerverse Theory a lot, so I should probably explain it. Basically it's my theory about how "infinite"/many universes might exist and work.
I'm going to use computer metaphors here a lot, so let me preface this by explaining that this isn't another Simulation Theory. Every soul and person is a Real Person with Real Experiences. I'm not theorizing that anything is false or "just a simulation".
Also this is literally just a theory. I don't "believe" this is "the one truth" or anything. I'm currently working under this framework due to it being the only one I have at the moment that makes sense to me, but I'm not married to it.
This post is the basic jist, I'll post additional parts separately
Intro:
So, we're starting with the idea of many universes existing, right?
I've seen the concept that "infinite universes exist, so everything must be true somewhere" and I disagree. I don't think there can be infinite universes in the sense of an actual infinite amount. (There's probably an "infinite" amount if you define infinite as "way too many to count" or "new ones being added all the time in addition to there being too many to count".)
I've also seen the idea that the way new universes are created is when anyone makes any decision and/or whenever there's a chance of multiple outcomes, that the universes just split naturally.
I disagree with both of those. So then how many universes are there? and what creates new ones?
And more importantly, how the hell can universes that are fiction Here actually exist?
I theorize the possibility of simply higher dimensional beings. Please bare with me.
Actual Start:
First of all the "Outerverse" is what I'm calling the outside realm that all the universes reside inside. The higher dimensional beings that live there I'm calling "outergods" for ease of talking about it. They aren't divine or godly or whatever, just way more powerful than us.
The outergods make and control universes. The best way I can explain and conceptualize it is that they're like programmers, like game devs.
Why do they do this? I don't know. I think they just find it interesting. "What'll happen if this? What about a world like that?" etc.
Time as we know it doesn't exist between universes. Each universe's timeline is self-contained, so the concept is kinda meaningless? Once outside of any given universe, that universe's entire timeline exists. (Of course that doesn't mean any of us have access or total knowledge of the contents of entire timelines)
And the outergods take our ideas, our various fictions and versions of fictions, and then make those universes too, in addition. And because time doesn't really exist between universes, they sort of already exist from our perspective?
At least that's my theory for how fictional universes can exist "before" the fictional media is created and published, and how many different AUs of said things can also exist.
TL;DR:
This is all just a theory
"Outerverse" = place all universes exist inside,
"outergods" = not-divine higher dimensional beings that live in the outerverse
outergods make and control universes sorta like programmers/game devs
each universe's timeline is self-contained, so time doesn't really exist between universes
