Hoskinson: Cardano is klaar om te exploderen!

Tijdens een toespraak eind augustus gaf Charles Hoskinson de oprichter van de Cardano blockchain, wat inzicht in de toekomst van het netwerk. De toespraak getiteld: "The Future of Cardano Governance in the Age of Voltaire" werd gehouden tijdens de opening van een blockchain en crypto conferentie Rare Evo. Hoskinson benadrukte het belang van Cardano als leider in de blockchain ruimte en zei dat de andere twee grote jongens, Ethereum en Bitcoin, zich hebben teruggetrokken. Hij benadrukte dat zowel Bitcoin als Ethereum weigerden om on-chain governance te hebben. Hij zei dat in het geval van Bitcoin deze anarchie betekende dat mensen moesten vertrouwen op alles wat de oorspronkelijke oprichter deed. Dit maakt veranderingen aan de originele infrastructuur onmogelijk, en elke verandering die aan de blockchain wordt opgelegd resulteert in een fork, waardoor het forked netwerk nutteloos wordt voor puristen. Het betekent ook dat je moet vertrouwen op de oorspronkelijke ontwikkelaar om alle aspecten meteen goed te krijgen, een bijna onbereikbare prestatie. klik hier voor meer info Het fundamentele idee achter de blockchain is om een systeem op te zetten dat functioneert zonder de noodzaak van vertrouwen tussen de deelnemers. Volgens Hoskinson probeert Ethereum echter niet eens om on-chain governance in te bouwen. Door deze afwezigheid van bestuursinspanningen kan de oprichter van het platform een blijvende dominante positie innemen zonder controle. Cardano wil manier van leven veranderen In tegenstelling tot bijvoorbeeld Ethereum wil Cardano uiteindelijk volledig gedecentraliseerd worden en werken via gebruikersconsensus en stemmen in plaats van gecontroleerd te worden door een enkele partij. Hij erkende dat dit idee voor sommigen intimiderend kan lijken, maar benadrukte de noodzaak ervan om positieve verandering teweeg te brengen en afstand te nemen van de traditionele hiërarchie van bovenaf. Hij gaf toe dat "het macht wegneemt van mensen," wat de reden is waarom velen terugschrikken voor echte decentralisatie. Cardano's staat van dienst op het gebied van stabiliteit springt eruit, met nul downtime sinds de lancering in 2017 over een periode van bijna 6 jaar. Deze prestatie kan worden toegeschreven aan de betrokken gemeenschap, die bijna 3.200 stake pools heeft opgezet en momenteel ongeveer 23 miljard ADA inzet. Deze inspanningen dragen bij aan zowel de decentralisatie als de veiligheid van de blockchain. Bitvavo provides staking assist for SOL, LUNA2, ATOM

Bitvavo now supports staking for three new tokens- SOL, ATOM and LUNA2. Dutch crypto platform Bitvavo has added three new cryptocurrencies to its staking rewards service. Now with Solana (SOL), Luna (LUNA2) and Comos (ATOM), customers can leverage their holdings to enjoy staking rewards of up to 10% APY.

Staking is one way cryptocurrency holders participate in the network transactions and security of a blockchain network. By locking up their assets for a given period, holders help facilitate the said activities, with a reward earned as part of the incentivisation process. Bitvavo now supports the above coins, offering a flexible staking feature that allows users to stake or unstake their crypto assets at will. In their latest update the Dutch-based platform noted the following as the new yearly yield (annual percentage yield, or APY) for the three proof-of-stake digital assets. Here is what you earn when you stake with Bitvavo: Solana (SOL): earn up to 5% reward Luna (LUNA2): earn up to 6% reward Cosmos (ATOM): earn up to 10% reward The update means the maximum yearly reward for staked assets on the De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) regulated platform is higher than the 7.5% initially offered on Icon (ICX). Users can access and keep tabs on their staked assets in the Bitvavo app.

Cardano (ADA) staking reward update

Apart from adding Solana, Cosmos, and Luna, Bitvavo has updated the staking reward for Cardano (ADA). This has been reevaluated from 5% to 4.25%. Factors that help determine the yield rate include the average pool rate, blocks per Epochs, amount of ADA pledged and staking costs relating to the percentage of the reward pool operators take. El Cardano Summit 2023 estuvo en Buenos Aires

En un marco festivo se llevó a cabo este encuentro muy especial para los fanáticos e inversionistas de CARDANO dentro de las instalaciones de Block House, en el micro-centro porteño.

El cronista de https://es.cointelegraph.com/ que estuvo cubriendo el evento y fue invitado a realizar unas palabras, es quien vemos en esta imágen.

Por lo que me centraré en algunas particularidades del evento que se realizó en Buenos Aires, dentro de las instalaciones de Block House, este sábado 4 de noviembre. Evento que quien escribe la nota tuvo la suerte de ser invitado como Speaker. El evento de Buenos Aires fue organizado por José IADICICCO, que por tercer vez consecutiva lo organizó el evento de manera muy profesional, a pesar que en el mismo horario jugaba el Club Atlético Boca Juniors una final de la copa Libertadores ante el fluminense, y sabemos lo futbolero que es a sociedad argentina, y com si fuera poco hubo una manifestaciones muy grande sobre la diversidad sexual. Pero, así y todo fueron unas 100 personas estimadas al evento, durante las seis horas que duró todo el evento, por lo que hubo circulación de público. Recordamos que este evento fue uno de los 27 que estuvieron programados a realizar por el programa de Cardano Summit 2023, y LATAM, tuvo la suerte de realizarlo en tres ciudades al evento, en México DF, en Curitiba (Brasil) y Buenos Aires (Argentina).

Como speaker estuvieron José IADICICCO (CEO de ADA Solar y organizador del evento), alan Verbner (Globant), Andrés Mucilli (Subsecretario de producción de la Municipalidad de Escobar), Andrés Burztyn (Vicedecano de la UTN Buenos Aires), Pacho Galera (Block House), y Ulises Barreiro (CEO de Token MITHR). Además por momentos fueron invitados a subir al escenario otras personas reconocidas del Mundo Crypto de CARDANO como los corresponsables del COINTELEGRAPH, Sebastian Castellano (del canal Cardano Castellano), y muchos otros más.

Fue una verdadera fiesta de CARDANO, la organización del evento fue muy linda, y los representantes de proyectos que estuvieron ahí sortearon entre el público presente algunos premiso de sus emprendimientos, desde entradas a eventos criptos que se vienen, NFTs, tazas con logos del evento, remeras estampadas del Cardano Summit 2023 (realizadas por los organizadores del evento), y muchas cosas más. Estuvieron miembros de las diversas comunidades de CARDANO de varios países como Chile, Ecuador, EEUU, Israel, y Colombia. Mientras que de Argentina hubo inversionistas de CARDANO de muchas provincias como desde Córdoba, Santa Fe, Rio Negro, Buenos Aires, San Luis y Salta. 

Celebramos esta linda fiesta que tuvo la familia de CARDANO en el evento del Cardano Summit 2023 de Buenos Aires.

SE REALIZO LA CHARLA SOBRE FINANZAS E INVERSIONES EN LA ESCUELA SAN CARLOS

Dentro del marco del proyecto Token MITHR (Mithrandir), denominado Proyecto «Amón», se realizo una charla educativa en la escuela secundaria San Carlos ubicada en la localidad de Olivos, Bs As, Argentina. Fue ante estudiantes secundarios de 5 año, y ademas se contó con la participación de docentes y directivos que estuvieron presentes.

Entre las temáticas tocadas tanto del sistema FIAT, como del sistema DEFI, se realizó un fuerte hincapié, en la aclaración, y diferencias entre la inversión, y la apuesta. Dado, que muchos adolescentes están siendo víctimas de páginas de internet que los incitan a realizar apuestas, tanto deportivas, como del tradeo en materia de criptomonedas. Además se tocaron temas como blockchain, ecosistemas criptos, como Bitcoin, Cardano, Avlaanche, y Polygon. Y otras cuestiones como detectar influencers que quieren vender productos, o páginas phishing. 

Por eso la charla fue muy importante dejando en claro los riesgos financieros y sociales que representan en sus vidas, hacer apuestas. Brindamos por estas charlas que son muy importantes para los seres humanos que están entrando lentamente al mundo financiero como sujetos económicamente activos. Los docentes que estuvieron dando la charla fueron Pablo Nash y Ulises Barreiro. Saludamos a la comunidad escolar del colegio San Carlos, y fundamentalmente a sus directivos que autorizaron dar la charla. Dado que estos pequeños espacios extracurriculares, son los que marcan la diferencia en materia de formación de ciudadanos hoy por hoy en el tan volátil siglo XXI.

EL 20 DE OCTUBRE TOKEN MITHR TIENE SU EVENTO EN LA CIUDAD DE ROSARIO (Argentina)

Como se sabe en el proyecto de Token MITHR (Mithrandir), parece que sus voluntarios que trabajan Full time, tienen acciones en empresas de aviones, porque no para de organizar eventos en distintas ciudades, tanto de Latinoamérica, como de África. Ya se realizaron eventos en Venezuela, y Argentina (Córdoba y Ciudad de Buenos Aires), y se viene Rosario (provincia de Santa Fe) y ciudad de Escobar (provincia de Buenos Aires). Las personas que trabajamos en proyectos relacionados con las Finanzas Descentralizadas, sabemos lo difícil que es en un mercado financiero bajista (como lo es el actual de las acciones digitales denominadas criptomonedas) poder hacer crecer este tipo de proyectos. Pero, el equipo directivo de Token MITHR (Mithrandir) lo está logrando.

Nos trasladamos en este caso a la enorme y bonita ciudad de Rosario (provincia de Santa Fe), cuna del fútbol mundial, donde dicha ciudad se prepara para el evento cripto de Octubre! «Gracias comunidad Rosarina por tanto cariño» manifiesta Dominique Gromez, voluntaria de Token MITHR y encargada del espacio de NFTs de Token MITHR junto a un gran equipo como «Uranito», Claudia Vogel, Piero Pablo Rossi, Talizman, y much@s más. Ya están invitadas comunidades de criptomonedas locales a que se sumen al evento, y como suele pasar cuando hay un evento cripto, se suman amantes de estas tecnologías y de estas finanzas que habitan en las ciudades donde se realizan los eventos.

¿Dónde se realiza el evento? En el espacio «La Maquinita Coworking» estará el token MITHR presente, y día a día se van sumando más proyectos amigos tanto para apoyar al evento como para estar como expositores. entre los expositores que ya confirmaron asistencia encontramos a Maximiliano Fechen (Fork DAO), José Iadiccio (ADA Solar), Daniel Rodriguez (Token MITHR) y Ulises Barreiro (Token MITHR)

Se presentó Token MITHR en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, en el Espacio Cultural Bitcoin

Vemos a: Lucas Cariddi (Community Maneger de Token MITHR), José Iadiccio (CEO de ADA Solar), KeHua (Community Maneger de One Pool de CARDANO) y Ulises Barreiro (CEO de Token MITHR).

El sábado 30 de septiembre a las 11am, dentro de un hermoso marco de camaradería empresarial, y de finanzas, se realizó el evento de Token MITHR en la CIUDAD de Buenos Aires, una ciudad que viene siendo focos de múltiples eventos relacionados con el mundo criptográficos y las finanzas descentralizadas. El evento tuvo lugar en el Espacio Cultural Bitcoin.

En este punto, los y las voluntarias presentes de Token MITHR, realizaron un evento que contó con la participación de muchos comerciantes interesados en el pago y en el cobro con la criptomoneda Token MITHR y ADA ambas de la red de CARDANO. Se contó con la participacion de varios proyectos importantes y serios del mundo cripto como ONE Pool de CARDANO, ADA Solar de CARDANO, y luego estuvieron entre los presentes representantes de CITALDOC, Latino Staking Pool, CTTime, y otros.

Realmente fue muy nutritivo para todos porque se pudo ver la importancia que tiene elegir un ecosistema serio para hacer los negocios.  Fue muy importante para Token MITHr esta presentación en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, brindamos porque vengan muchas otras más, como es costumbre se regalaron libros de token MITHR, y merchandising además para el público presente.

En Vicente López se realizó con éxito la 6ta jornada de limpieza de la costa del Rio de la plata por los proyectos nucleados en la Confederación Cardano

Durante la 6ta jornada de limpieza de la costa del Rio de la plata a la altura de Vicente Lopez, los proyectos que se nuclean dentro del ecosistema de blockchain de CARDANO realizaron otra jornada exitosa.

Durante la mañana del 4 de mayo, los voluntarios de Token Mithrandir, en conjunto con los voluntarios de varios proyectos como ADA Solar, One Pool, Latin stake Pool, y Bosque Venture capital. Realizaron una jornada más de éxito, en materia de limpieza de plásticos que hay depositados sobre la costa del río, a la altura de la localidad de Vicente Lopez, en la zona norte de la provincia de Buenos Aires. Esto nos muestra el éxito que vienen teniendo las acciones de impacto ambiental que planifica en conjunto la "Cardano confederations", su nombre oficial en ingles, que traducido al castellano es "Confederacio

Como es ya costumbre positiva, los voluntarios de todos estos proyectos, sumado a vecinos de la localidad de Olivos, se acercaron a realizar las tareas de limpieza, y se pudo en esta jornada recolectar unas 15 bolsas de llena de residuos de plástico, equivalentes a 15 kilos de plástico que ya no estarán en el río de La Plata, río que está muy contaminado de residuos plásticos. Esta clase de medidas son financiadas en parte por el Tesoro de token Mithrandir y de ADA Solar, que entre diversas maneras de generar ingresos venden NFTs que tienen como finalidad costear este tipo de tareas que tanto beneficios le traen al resto de la ciudadanía. 

Cada día son más los vecinos y vecinas que se van acercando a participar de estas jornadas solidarias de limpieza de la costa, y de las aguas, en este caso de Vicente Lopez. Ya se está planificando para el sábado o domingo que viene una actividad similar, la 7ma jornada de limpieza del río de la Plata.

Token MITHRANDIR s'engage pour le nettoyage des berges des rivières

La fondation "Token Mithrandir" a collaboré avec ses bénévoles et, dans certains cas, avec des équipes d'autres projets, tant du réseau CARDANO que du réseau polygone, pour nettoyer les berges des rivières. Ces nettoyages ont lieu dans plusieurs pays d'Amérique latine, tels que l'Argentine et le Venezuela. Parmi les projets participant avec Token Mithrandir, on trouve ADA Solar, One Pool Stake et Chacra Mithrandir. Du côté de Polygon, nous trouvons Bosque Venture Capital, The AquaPurge Project et la liste est vraiment très longue, l'important est que les lecteurs voient qu'il y a une équipe de projets engagés dans la protection de l'environnement.

Token Mithrandir est un projet qui n'a pas de nationalité, il est donc présent dans 13 pays, formant un grand réseau qui a comme lumière le soin de l'environnement, et l'aide humanitaire. Nos actions dépendent mois après mois des donations qui entrent dans la trésorerie du projet, à travers la vente de NFTs ou de nos actions digitales "Token MITHR" qui se trouvent dans le DEX de CARDANO. Comme vous pouvez le voir sur l'image de cette newsletter, il s'agit de l'équipe de Costa de Oro, qui rassemble plus de 70 femmes et hommes qui vont nettoyer leur territoire sur une base pro-bono, ils sont un exemple de solidarité sociale et de dignité humaine. Le Token Mithrandir, ainsi que d'autres projets du réseau Cardano et du réseau polygone, ont travaillé dans cette ligne de nettoyage des berges. Il est merveilleux de voir autant de projets œuvrer pour l'environnement.

Cardano (ADA) beschikbaar voor staking op Apple apparaten. Wordt Cardano extreem ondergewaardeerd?

Cardano's native token, ADA, is nu beschikbaar voor staking op Apple apparaten die het iOS besturingssysteem gebruiken. De innovatie is met name doorgevoerd via de functionaliteit van Trust Wallet, een "hot" wallet voor het opslaan van crypto activa. Tokens en beloningen voor staking worden aan het einde van elke periode automatisch opnieuw geherwaardeerd, zoals gebruikelijk is op Cardano. Bovendien kun je met de functionaliteit je eigen validator pool kiezen, waarvan Cardano er volgens Cexplorer momenteel meer dan 2700 heeft. Hoe zit het met Cardano (ADA) staking? Als proof-of-stake blockchain is staking van doorslaggevend belang voor Cardano, dus de mogelijkheid om ADA naadloos te delegeren naar staking vanaf een iPhone lijkt een zeer positieve ontwikkeling vooral gezien de tientallen miljoenen gebruikers van Trust Wallet en het feit dat het moederbedrijf van de wallet, Binance, de grootste staking provider is voor ADA. Stort Euro of Bitcoin en verdien een riant maandelijks passief inkomen (klik voor meer uitleg). Momenteel is het aantal Cardano tokens dat is gestaked, 25,08 miljard ADA, of 72% van het totale token aanbod. De kapitalisatie van Cardano-tokens in staking is dus 6,3 miljard dollar. Ondanks de prijsdaling van ADA neemt het aantal nieuwe wallets en het aantal tokens in staking regelmatig toe. Cardano zou extreem ondergewaardeerd kunnen zijn, volgens Santiment Cardano blijft in een ingewikkelde staat op de cryptocurrency markt. De troef kon in 2021 geen steun vinden bij institutionele beleggers en heeft in 2023 geen aflossing gekregen. Twee jaar actief verkopen maakte Cardano extreem ondergewaardeerd in vergelijking met Ethereum, Solana en andere concurrenten. Maar betekent dit noodzakelijkerwijs dat ADA in 2023 zal rallyen? De hele analyse was echter gebaseerd op slechts enkele indicatoren die ons geen fundamenteel inzicht geven waarmee we ook met vertrouwen de beweging van ADA in 2023 zouden kunnen voorspellen. Hoe het nu uitpakt Helaas ziet het er niet naar uit dat Cardano klaar is voor een bounce, want het is opnieuw gedaald naar het lokale dieptepunt en slaagt er niet in momentum te winnen na een prijsstijging van 7% in de afgelopen vier dagen. Het handelsvolume op de activa daalt inderdaad, maar dit zegt niet noodzakelijkerwijs dat de trend vervaagt, want het zou ook het resultaat kunnen zijn van vakanties op financiële markten over de hele wereld. Blockchains of today versus blockchains of tomorrow

When Satoshi Nakamoto first described Bitcoin in his famous 2008 whitepaper, it set forth a revolutionary new way to move and transact value peer-to-peer, one which transcended international borders and maintained low fees irrespective of the value of a transaction.

However, Bitcoin — still the largest cryptocurrency today by market capitalization — is at its core a fairly simple and limited blockchain in terms of utility, despite its clear usefulness as digital cash. In fact, since Bitcoin’s launch over a decade ago, there have been multiple iterations of blockchain technology, some of which impart much greater utility than a simple value layer.

Blockchains are often described as belonging to a ‘generation’ based on how old they are, and their improvement over older blockchains. For example, Bitcoin is widely regarded as a ‘first-generation’ blockchain, a simple ledger for transferring value. Ethereum, on the other hand, is described as a ‘second-generation’ blockchain, adding in layer-two functionality such as decentralized applications — or DApps — and smart contracts.

By definition, Cardano is a ‘third-generation’ blockchain protocol, offering a value layer through Byron, staking and rewards through Shelley, smart contracts and DApps through Goguen, scalability and interoperability through Basho, and paving the way towards truly decentralized governance models through Voltaire. But, this time-based classification does not account for the constant and dynamic development that blockchains — especially those which are permissionless and open-source like Cardano — undergo on a regular basis.

Instead, it is far more useful to compare the features of blockchain ledgers in existence today, versus their proposed utility in the near future — in other words, the blockchains of today versus the blockchains of tomorrow.

Here, we examine what the blockchains of tomorrow might look like, discover what is in store for the Cardano protocol in the near future, and discuss the potential of blockchain to disrupt diverse industries and establish new paradigms.

Scaling up and staying decentralized

The recent release of Shelley, which brought staking and delegation to Cardano, represents the beginning of true decentralization — arguably the most important aspect by which a blockchain can be considered a truly distributed ledger.

True decentralization, which can be validated on-chain through the number of nodes participating in consensus, is one of the founding tenets of blockchain technology and it may become the hallmark of the most successful blockchains of tomorrow.

Proof of work (PoW) blockchains, like Bitcoin, may appear superficially decentralized; however, in reality, there are ample opportunities for miners, or mining confederations with adequate infrastructure to collude, to disproportionately influence the protocol by collectively holding a great deal of the mining power.

In April 2019, research published by the IEEE computer society revealed this risk of collusion. The research revealed that 40%–50% of the mining power in the Bitcoin network was controlled by just three of the largest mining pools, a far cry from what one would expect from a truly decentralized network, and this problem has become fairly consistent across other PoW blockchains.

How does Cardano remain decentralized and scale?

Cardano, on the other hand, using a proof of stake protocol, reaches consensus through the collective effort of potentially thousands of decentralized nodes, or stake pools, who are selected as slot leaders in an almost lottery-like randomized manner.

Ada holders from across the world can delegate to any of these stake pools, irrespective of how much ada they hold. Cardano’s Ouroboros Praos consensus mechanism, and its staking and delegation, is designed to reach a point of equilibrium, stabilizing the network when the number of stake pools reaches the desired level.

To prevent a handful of stake pools from wielding too much influence over the blockchain — by having too much ada delegated to them and, therefore, being disproportionately chosen as slot leaders — stake pools reach a ‘saturation point’, known as the ‘K’ value, upon which their staking rewards decline.

In this way, PoS blockchains scale organically and sustainably through more pools and delegates, whereas PoW blockchains can only scale using more hashing power, thereby using more resources as demand for computing power increases.

Adequate decentralization promotes the security and stability of the network, but there is also the issue of scalability — the ability of a blockchain to handle multiple transactions in a short amount of time. This is measured most often in ‘transactions per second’, or ‘TPS’.

For blockchains to become useful as world computers for the internet of value, it is imperative that scalability issues are addressed while also remaining decentralized, at which point we will see a shift towards a ‘blockchain-complete’ era.

The Blockchain-complete era

If we continue to categorize blockchains by generation, every new blockchain which emerges may class itself as the next-generation of distributed ledger — implying that it is somehow superior to the older generations of blockchain.

However, such an assumption is wrong because blockchains are always evolving and adding functionality, and even those which serve a single purpose have their own utility and interoperability with other chains.

Instead, a more accurate term for the blockchains of tomorrow would be ‘blockchain-complete’, an all-encompassing ecosystem that could be used to transfer value, build and deploy DApps, participate in on-chain governance, generate staking rewards, and more.

In Cardano’s case, the blockchain improves through both formal developments with its engineering partners, IOHK, and also through community improvement proposals (CIPs), becoming a constantly evolving distributed operating system.

The blockchains of tomorrow

Essentially, blockchain-complete ledgers — the protocols which will define the blockchains of tomorrow — can solve the pressing issues of interoperability, scalability, security, and decentralization.

Once these hurdles are overcome, blockchains of the future, such as Cardano, can become complete operating systems that enable powerful use cases, such as enterprise solutions, monetary transactions, supply chain tracking, traceability, educational resources, and public services.

Atop these blockchains of tomorrow, users will be able to transfer value seamlessly peer-to-peer, write and deploy smart contracts and DApps, access decentralized finance products, and meaningfully take part in the consensus of the overall protocol.

The blockchains of tomorrow will not necessarily replace the blockchains of today. Instead, it is more likely that the blockchains of today will evolve into the blockchains of the future, and the most successful projects will focus on interoperability while working towards becoming the de facto financial and social operating system based on blockchain technology.
