Wu is tired.

He's been tired for years; but never, has he ever, felt more weighed down then he did now.

Things have always been tense between him and Garmadon. He was a kind and patient soul, but there was always something "off" about his brother that rubbed him the wrong way.

When Lloyd died, Wu could see the shatters of Garmadon's heart in his eyes. The bright light the Wu enjoyed snuffed out like candle light. Only hardness and jagged stone were there now.

It was a horrible, terrible accident. Morro in particular, had grown depressed because of his own involvement.

"It doesn't matter what my intentions were, Wu," he spat. "Lloyd is dead because I took a joke too far. How can I look Uncle Garmadon in the eye again? I killed his son!"

Morro disappeared himself not too long after that meltdown. Wu gave him the weekend to get some space; everyone grieves in different ways and Wu didn't want to make things any worse for his adopted son.

Months later there was still no sign of him.

Garmadon was of no help, throwing himself into his work. Wu visited once a week to make sure his brother didn't kill himself and to force him to eat. He was a shell of the man Wu grew up with.

So Wu did what young brothers did best.

He snooped.

And he could not have been more horrified.

Children...some as old as Lloyd used to be...some before and some after the missing ones...he killed them all. Animatronics designed to steal and murder children.

His brother has been sick of a long time and Wu never noticed. He had been suspicious about Garmadon's mental health for a long time, but he never investigated as he should have. Those children were dead and it's partly Wu's fault.

When he learned that Juniors' was experiencing some technical difficulties with the animatronics? Well, Wu has always believed in the supernatural, and he owed it to the victims for not only his inaction, but for the pain Garmadon has caused. He wouldn't fix this, so it was up to Wu to help the children move on.

Which brings him to now.

In an underground facility.

In the scooping room.

He looked for this place for years. His brother spoke of it before the incidents. It was going to be a way to bounce back from the reputation Freddy's had gained; a sister location, if you will. Of course, it never took off. Garmadon had cancelled the opening day just hours before it was due and Wu never learned why.

And now he knows.

Wu knew that voice, and though they were now robotic, his eyes barely changed at all.

Morro was angry and hurt, looking for revenge in a haze. Wu's heart lurched and twisted painfully. His poor son, reduced to this. Never did he think Garmadon would be so calloused.

Wu could offer no comfort. Not for the first time, Wu hated that he looked so similar to his brother. The tortured souls were so hurt that they could not see clearly.

Which is why Wu didn't fight it. If this was a way to atone for his sins and help his son move on to the greater plane, then so be it.

Ennard activated the scooper, and Wu crumpled to the ground with a smile.

Remembered

(Another forgotten one au oneshot. @ghosts-are-my-culture imma tag you since ya like this au.)

Kai remembered the night everything went down.

He was casually going into the training room, to try and calmly go and talk to the person who had made the past few months of his life a living hell by turning the other ninja against him. He had tried to speak to the boy who had decided to get into kai's face, kai quickly getting mad and yelling at the boy why he was doing this to him. The boy said he wanted kai's powers. He had made it look like kai had started a fight with him by the time the others came in the training room. Kai vaguely remembered the fight, the boy smiling evilly at kai who was just barely able to take on all of the others, he escaped outside the bounty, the last thing he remembered from the fight before everything went dark, was lloyd and jay's powers combining and hitting his back. Dispite all the pain he was feeling, emotional and physical he escaped far enough away from the bounty, which was on land, into ninjago city, where he had eventually fainted from the pain.

Kai remembered when he woke up.

His head was hurting so bad, the pain in his back was gone, strangely enough. When his vision finally cleared, he realized he was in somekind of room that was all different kinds of shades of green with gold, accents that decorated the place. The door opened, revealing three people, two men and a woman. Kai recognized two of the people as the emporer and empress iof ninjago, but didn't recognize the other man. They had introduced themselves, kai learning that ithe other man was hutchins, the royal guard of the royal family. When asked who kai was and where his family was, he was confused that they didn't know who he was. Surely they would remember one of the heroes of ninjago, right? When they had asked him again, he panicked, and said his name was iak, and he didn't remember anything, including his family. He was surprised when they has believed him, and kai asked how long he had been out for. They had told him that they found kai, or iak three months ago. deciding to leave kai/iak to himself for a while, the emporer, empress and hutchins all went to talk about what was going to happen to him. Kai had gotten up from from the bed he was in and went to the mirror in his room and was shocked at his appearance. His old brown hair hand now been turned into a snowy white color, while his eye color had turned to a grayish silver.

He remembered meeting harumi.

After the royals had talked, they decided to adopt kai/iak, which meant kai was now thrown into a life he never wanted. Not too long after he was thrown into the life of a prince, he realized not only had the royals forgot about his existence, but all of ninjago. Including the ones who had betrayed him and stabbed him in the back. He was angry, no, beyond that. He wanted to make them pay for what they've done. He then met harumi, the other adopted child of the emporer and empress. Kai had learned that she was taken into the royal family's custody after the events of the great devourer, in which her parents had perished.

He remembered finding the oni mask, and the old plans he and killow had made for the biker gang had become something more, sinister.

He remembered after he met harumi that he heard garmadons(as the dark lord,) voice and he went to an orange mask in a display case. Harumi told him it was an oni mask, and whomever owns them, will wield tremendous power. Kai realized that he could use the oni mask, to make them pay for what they've done. After he had gotten hutchins to take him to the library of domu, he had finally made a plan, but first he would need killows help. He had called killow, who was concerned as to why he hadn't heard from kai in months. Kai told him everything that had happened and of the plan he had created. They decided to call the biker gang the s.o.g, or the sons of garmadon. Killow(and kai when he could,) started recruiting people for the sog; and kai became known as the forgotten one, leader of the sog. Eventually later on ultraviolet and mr.e had come along and joined, the 4 of them becoming a family.

He remembered finding misako and garmadon, along with a baby wu two years later.

He was angry beyond words could describe. How in the name of the first spinjitsu master, could that old man be alive!?!?!? Him being alive could ruin everything!!!! He had seen that garmadon and misako were shocked at what happened to kai, and what he had become. Wen kai had found out the baby was wu, he laughed so hard he cried. He had taken wu from them, and given him to uv, telling garm and misako wu would be fine. For now. Luckily he had found another way around the old man being alive. He had done more research and found a ritual that would need the oni mask, similar to the one he was originally going to do, but this one instead takes the oni out of a hybrid that's part oni, and thus lord garmadon would come back when he would perform the ritual with the oni mask and garmadon to make it succeed. The aftermath of the ritual would make the person it's performed on very weak.

Kai remembered after everything that happened, there was still people that cared about him other than killow, ultraviolet and mr.e

After saving that family and escaping with killow ultraviolet and mr.e; after everything that had happened garmadon had decided to come and find kai and his biker friends. It took a lot of convincing, but garm had managed to convince kai to come back home. Letting him bring the others, as well as letting him keep the oni mask of hatred which ultraviolet had saved from being destroyed. The others were shocked and freaked out that sensei garmadon had brought kai back to the newly rebuilt monastery, along with the other 3 members he was close with. Wu was fine with it, having a huge feeling of relief when kai had returned, although he didn't remember why, but he didn't question it. Ray and maya were estatic that their son was back home, not caring about what he did and had done. They were glad to have him back where he belonged. Misako was just happy that he wasn't going to do something like destroying ninjago again. (nuero was glad his old best friend came back to his senses.) And dispite everything that kai did, harumi was glad he was back. And kai realized, people still cared about him.

Kai remembered the others apologizing and blaming themselves for being so stupid for not remembering their brother, and allowing themselves to forget him.

He had woken up just like the others had done from the tornado of creation they all did together to defeat the oni. When he had finally gotten up off the ground he was then pulled into a hug by cole, who was crying and apologizing to him, saying he had finally remembered him after everything that had happened. The others eventually joined in too, and kai wasn't even sure how to feel. But then he felt, happy. After lloyd woke up and they discovered he met the fsm and he was the one who made everyone forgey kai as a lesson, they were confused and upset. Kai was indeed very upset, but he was also very happy as well too. He wasn't forgotten anymore.

Haunt me

This is gonna be about my Lloyd Haunts Harumi AU. This isn’t official, this is just Lloyd being a little shit to Harumi really.

Lloyd watched as Harumi successfully malipulate his father into “adopting” her as his child. He was angry, furious, in fact. He was angry at Harumi for killing him. Angry for resurrecting his father. Angry for the destruction of Ninjago. He was angry about everything. And tonight, he would finally get his revenge.

Lloyd didn’t bother trying to hide, there was no reason to. No one could see him, so what was the point? He walked through the walls of what used to be Cryus Borg Industry, making as much of a mess as he possibly could. He knew that if one of the Sons of Garmadon messed up in anyway, Harumi would automatically be blamed for it. So, he did whatever he could to sabatoge their plans. Writing on walls, making it impossible to walk through the hallway, even taking and writing on important papers. Whatever would get Harumi in trouble-or even slow down Garmadon’s destruction.

Finally, he arrived at the top of the tower, where Garmadon sat on the throne. He was talking with Harumi about what their plans are. He walked over and leaned against Garmadon’s throne, right where Harumi can see him.

“My lord, if I may ask, do you th-” Harumi started speaking.

“Hey, hey Harumi.”

Harumi ignored Lloyd’s words and continued speaking.

“Harumi.”

She continued to ignore him. “I think maybe we should go and attack their ship.”

“I have a better idea.” Lloyd spoke up. “Maybe you should stab and drown them. That would do the trick.”

Harumi groaned in fustration and glared at Lloyd. “Shut up” she mouthed.

“Oo! Maybe you could trick them to fall in love with you, then kill them!”

Harumi sighed. “Forgive me, Emporer Garmadon. There seems to be a fly bothering me. Please excuse me.”

Lloyd smirked, obviously enjoying the show. Harumi walked to him and signaled for him to follow her. A few minutes later, they were in an abandoned computer room, aka, Harumi’s bedroom.

“What do you think you’re doing?” Harumi snapped at Lloyd. “I thought you were supposed to be helping me!”

“And I thought you were actually a good person, yet here we are.” Lloyd snaps back.

“You lied to me!”

“Oh, and you didn’t?”

Harumi stepped back, acting nervous. Fake tears were forming in her eyes. Lloyd sighed.

“Don’t pull that shit with me, Princess. You lied about everything. You lied about being in love with me, you lied about the Quiet One, you even lied about your role as Princess! I’m not falling for that shit anymore, Harumi!”

“H-how are you even here? You’re supposed to be dead!”

“I’m a ghost, dumbass. After you killed me, I was brought back to life. Just like how you resurrected my father, I was resurrected as a ghost. And you know what I’m gonna do from now on?”

“W-what are you gonna do..?” Harumi was genuinely terrorfied of his awnser. Not only was he the Green Ninja, he was the Son of Garmadon. He had the exact same blood running through his viens. Lloyd winked at her.

“Try keeping your job as ‘Second in Command’ with me around.”

With that, he vanished through the wall.
