My dearest friend is making Muppet of the Subway boss Emmet. He's soo fluffy and soft and he looks so much better in person cuz I can't make halfway decent photo no matter what.
I am Emmet. Tried a new drink today. Its a bit like lemonade. It was verrry annoying to open. I had to twist it off even tho it's a metal cap. It taste good tho. 6/10.
Sometimes, it's lonelier when you're in a crowd you can't understand. Elesa, who struggles with the language divide and being hard of hearing, solves this by simply refusing to engage.
BONUS! The twins did not get their starters yet. They think Elesa’s so cool and stoic. This is a hilarious misunderstanding.
Want something funnier? Here's my submas masterpost!
( Trying to find the courage to post all the AUs and concepts that pilled up since almost one years and that I never got around to finish/post )
Set in an incertain futuristic/dystopic context: Emmet as a very wild AI, who created 1ng0 to endorse security protocols and tedious work that Emmet find boring to do on the Subway. He also give limits and stability to Emmet wandering infinite creative intelligence
Occasionally he can be a Vessel for Emmet untangible mind when he needs a body to do reparations and tinkering on parts of the Subway system that requiere physical manipulations.
The fact that he’s yelling “In-I-go” everytime he goes inside might suggest that he named 1ng0 after it ( “Emmet” being close to “Emmetting” is also fitting with his capacity to send signals and travel through light and other wavelenght signals )
Ok, but what if Gear Station tried to do those kid safety videos and someone decided they should make them with puppets? Emmet and Ingo would wholeheartedly enjoy it, and thus lead to the series cancelation.
The producers never got the puppets back. On occasion the Submas bring them out for jokes and pranks knowing very well how creepy they are and their own meme.
Through the end of December 2023, the stage adaptation of Jim Henson's Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas is playing at the Studebaker Theater in Chicago.
