What is your opinion of Molly The Chick, Frizzle The Scouse Chick and Dr. Mark Fry?, and What is your opinion of Mrs. Melisha Tweedy’s new makeover and outfit?

Molly: I thought she was really cute, and looked so much like Ginger! I think she's a great addition to the Chicken Run cast of characters. I appreciate how the writers wrote her; She was outgoing and adventurous without being a bratty character. Honestly I just wished we could have seen more moments of her as a baby/toddler, and more moments of Rocky and Ginger looking after her and being regular parents!

Frizzle: I like Frizzle too! I had a hard time understanding some of what she said tbh. At first, i felt her color palette was too saturated, and i think i still do tbh (her color is way too different from all the other hens when you compare her to all the other character designs and their color palettes) but she's still cute and i enjoy drawing her! I have a headcanon that she's quite a good artist, and loves to draw and make crafts with Molly (she made the necklace she's wearing!)

Dr.Mark Fry: (okay so it's official his name is Mark? where is this stated, im curious!) I'm gonna say something weird but i remember seeing fanart of Dr.Fry drawn all thin, and sexy looking with a sly look to his face before his official design was revealed. Then you see him! He's all cute, and chubby-cheeked and has this goofy grin on his face. He's an eccentric scientist (and a theatre kid!) i would love to see more of his inventions. I wonder how he met Mrs Tweedy, he seems to really love and worship her.

Mrs.Tweedy's makeover: She looks great tbh, very reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn. She's got nicer makeup, dyed her hair all black to cover the greyness we saw in the first movie.This make-over of hers shows how she really desires to live a glamorous life-style.

What is for your headcanons for Dr. Marcus Fry and Mrs. Melisha Tweedy?

Ill make a few short ones!

Dr.Fry:

-He wanted to become an actor (his first passion was theatre) but his parents absolutely refused for him to go into such an unstable career choice...Instead, he delved into the sciences, and did a minor in drama/theatre!

-Dr.Fry loves cats! He hopes to own one someday, but Mrs.Tweedy doesn't really like animals. She certainly doesn't want to deal with cleaning cat hair or vomit. (Cat owners know, immarite??)

-Dr.Fry is quite proud of one of his inventions: A musical Blender: It's a hybrid between and blender and a radio. As you blend your food, it can play a song for you...If you choose a song that is a little lengthy and you want to hear the entire thing, well...I hope you are making soup!

-Dr.Fry has a selection of different glasses at home. Frames of different colors and shapes! He likes to have variety and choose ones that match whatever bow tie he chooses for the day!

Mrs Tweedy:

-Mrs Tweedy has a bit of a sweet tooth. She enjoys a little sweet treat after dinner! Her favorite is lemon meringue pie (which is as sour as she is hehe)

-She does enjoy going out, but when she was married to Mr.Tweedy she could barely afford it. She loves going to the cinema or going to the occasional party or show, etc

-She doesn't have a driver's license.

-Her favorite colors are: pink, purple and red

Hello everyone,

Sorry I haven’t posted in a long time. Life has been quite hectic, especially school. I wanted to post a little drawing I have made of my Chicken Run OC, Kip, the niece of Melisha and Willard Tweedy. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. It was made using watercolour and pencils. I had a lot of fun making this. If people are interested, I’ll eventually post more about Kip in my future posts.

So, Which one of these Songs and Music will suits Ginger, Rocky Rhodes, Mac, Bunty, Babs, Fowler, Nick, Fetcher, Mr. Willard Tweedy and Mrs. Melisha Tweedy from Chicken Run?

Here are some VERY loose ideas....

MAC: “The Multiplication Song” from Animaniacs.

I feel this suits Mac because …well…It’s a song all about calculations! Perhaps she’d sing this when teaching the chicks of the island….

BABS: “I am Free” (The Weirdo Song) from The Amazing World of Gumball

 Babs is very happy living in her own world, and sees life in a very positive light.

BUNTY: “Bad Moon Rising” By Creedence Clearwater Revival 

Bunty seems very pessimistic. We see in the film that she shoots down any of Ginger’s dreams of a better life.

MRS.Tweedy: “Money” from the Tom & Jerry movie

I think this speaks for itself lol

MR.Tweedy: “Bottomless Pit” by Savoy

I feel this song very well suits Mr.Tweedy’s relationship with his wife. Basically, he just has to accept whatever his wife wants having no say in anything.

ROCKY: “You’re so Vain” by Carly Simon

Rocky comes across as a rather vain character (and a total ladies man)

GINGER: “I Won’t Give Up” Jason Mraz

Though this song seems to be about a romantic relationship, I still feel it can work. I feel Ginger loved all of her friends on the farm and would never give up on them. She’d only desire a better life for them all, never giving up on her escape plans.

FOWLER: “Five Miles Out” by Mike Oldfield

This song makes me think of Fowler because of its flying/airplane themes and sound effects in the song. The guitar and vocals sound “heroic” to me…and to me, Fowler is one of the heroes in Chicken Run.

NICK & FETCHER: “If I didn’t have you” from Monsters Inc.

Can’t you imagine Nick & Fetcher singing this as a duet?

Happy Valentine’s Day!

A simple piece created with watercolours and markers. I wanted to try a different style. This was a lot of fun to create and I definitely would like to try this style again. (Next time with more dynamic poses, of course!)

My scanner is kind of crappy at times, so some of the quality is lost here, unfortunately (the blue in Mrs.Tweedy’s eyes for example). But I still think it’s okay. 

Mr. and Mrs. Tweedy= most adorable yet contrasting couple ever. <3
