Still waiting for a sex scene that makes me feel what I felt the first time I watched Daniel Day-Lewis spit champagne into Gordon Warnecke’s mouth as they made love in a back room, completely oblivious to the uncle and his mistress in the background as the music swells

The Godzilla Minus One soundtrack is phenomenal, but my favorite one is the 3rd track “Confusion”
Just a single, continuous note that throughout starts to become a prominent low ringing in your ears mimicking that pure, panicked, adrenaline-fueled feeling of being hunted down by a massive predator
There could have been standard ‘Fast-Paced Chase Scene Music’ playing during the scene, but with this track makes it 100x more tense and unnerving…

Spotlight on: Minus 5 - “Song for Peter Tork”
Mike Faloon: “[O]ne song that comes to mind is ‘Song for Peter Tork.’ That chorus really resonates: ‘You just work, and it works, to keep on working.’ It would have been easy to mock his fall from grace. Instead, you chose to focus on his work ethic after the Monkees broke up.”
Scott McCaughey: “Yeah, Chuck [Carroll] and I were living in Sonoma County, and we were coming back from seeing somebody at Berkeley Community Theatre or something, maybe the Kinks. I don’t know. [laughs] But we saw this sign in the town he lives in, ‘Tonight Peter Tork.’ And we’re thinking, ‘No way, you’ve got to be kidding me.’ We pull in and it was literally like two in the morning. They’re putting the chairs on the table and Peter was there just winding up his guitar cables, packing up. I was thinking about that when I wrote the Peter Tork song, just about the keep on working thing. There’s something to be said about it.” - Razorcake 091, April-May 2016

It's 2004. You're somewhere in Eastern/Central Europe, your mother makes you try on the new clothes she picked for you, so you do, while standing on old cartons in some shady pavilion in the darkest corner of a bazaar. Life is good
