Boy Kills World (2024)
This is a Movie Health Community evaluation. It is intended to inform people of potential health hazards in movies and does not reflect the quality of the film itself. The information presented here has not been reviewed by any medical professionals.
Boy Kills World has several scenes with machine gun fire, lighting up dark environments, not all of which is predictable. The opening shot has some lightning. One character has a vision after being knocked out which includes some strobe effects throughout, with this vision lasting about a minute.
The camera moves at high speeds to follow the action, but never shakes violently. There is one long and highly-disorienting orbiting shot.
Flashing Lights: 7/10. Motion Sickness: 6/10.
TRIGGER WARNING: This is a very bloody film. Executions of innocent people are depicted, with children being among the victims. One random person vomits immediately after witnessing a kill that involves multiple giant hooks.
