But she still had the battle background and Grey charred armor and Depa burnt robes just made this a more outstanding commission.

Brazil Federal Police Sees Fraud in Bolsonaro's Vaccination Data

Investigation is regarding the insertion of false data on Covid vaccination into the Ministry of Health system

The Federal Police carried out this Wednesday (3) a search and seizure warrant at the address of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) and the arrest of some of his closest former advisers. According to the Federal Police, the suspects allegedly attempted to insert false data on Covid-19 vaccination into the Ministry of Health system between November 2021 and December 2022.

In representation to Justice Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court, the Federal Police points Mauro Cid, Bolsonaro's former assistant, as the main articulator of the scheme. According to the authorities, Bolsonaro was aware of the fraudulent entry of data into the system. "Jair Bolsonaro, Mauro Cid and, possibly, Marcelo Câmara were fully aware of the fraudulent insertion of vaccination data, remaining inert in relation to such facts until the present moment", says the Federal Police.

Mauro Cid and Luis Marcos dos Reis, former orderlies, Max Guilherme de Moura and Sergio Cordeiro, Bolsonaro's security guards, Ailton Moraes Barros, candidate for state congressman for the PL-RJ in 2022, and João Carlos de Sousa Brecha, secretary of the City Hall of Duque de Caxias (RJ), Bolsonarist stronghold in Rio and the place where the fraud would have been executed, they were all targets of an arrest warrant. Former First Lady Michelle Bolsonaro is also being investigated. Investigators have identified two fraud attempts. In the last one, data would have been entered to state that the then president and the other beneficiaries would have been vaccinated and therefore be able to issue a vaccination certificate to travel to the United States.

Interculturalidad: Es un proceso de interacción, comunicación, diálogo y aprendizaje entre personas o grupos de diferentes culturas, que se basa en el respeto, el reconocimiento y la valoración de la diversidad cultural. La interculturalidad busca promover la convivencia pacífica, la participación democrática y la transformación social. Algunos ejemplos de interculturalidad son: los programas educativos bilingües e interculturales, las políticas públicas de inclusión y equidad, las redes sociales y los medios de comunicación multiculturales, etc. Algunos autores que han estudiado la interculturalidad son: Catherine Walsh, Boaventura de Sousa Santos, Fred Dervin, etc.

Multiculturalidad: Es un hecho o una situación de coexistencia de diversas culturas en un mismo espacio geográfico o social, sin que necesariamente haya una interacción, una comunicación, un diálogo o un aprendizaje entre ellas. La multiculturalidad puede ser el resultado de procesos históricos como la migración, la colonización o la globalización. Someone looking at this piece would think you were looking at Grey after killing Depa Billaba in the Bad Batch, but you would be wrong. In the Kanan comic they mention that Master Depa Billaba nearly died in a fight with General Grievous and lost 90% of her battalion and would spend 6 months in a bacta tank. Since Grey was one of the survivors I thought it would cool showing her unconscious and being rescued off the battlefield by Grey. A beautiful job by artist Michelle De Sousa.

Lack of Regulation Led Brazil to Betting Scandal, Say Organizations

Industry groups have criticized the delay in defining rules for the practice in the country

The match-fixing scandal that has shaken Brazilian football has not surprised organizations and representatives of the sports betting sector.

For them, Brazil's delay in regulating the legalized practice since 2018 has created a fertile ground for fraud and corruption, as the ongoing investigation by the Prosecution Service of Goiás has shown.

Sanctioned by Michel Temer, law 13,756 was shelved for four years, without regulation, during the government of Jair Bolsonaro.

"What is happening is due to the fact that the previous government did not regulate sports betting because it treated betting as a matter of customs and not as an economic activity", says Magno José Santos de Sousa, president of the IJL (Brazilian Institute of Legal Gambling).

Barclay renaît : une longue histoire tournée vers l’avenir.

J’ai l’honneur et l’immense plaisir de me voir confier aujourd’hui la direction du label Barclay, en plus de mes fonctions de directeur du catalogue que j’anime depuis maintenant 5 ans, sous le nom de Panthéon. Je remercie sincèrement Olivier Nusse pour sa confiance. Je mesure la chance qui est la mienne de diriger désormais ces deux marques prestigieuses, qui représentent à la fois le patrimoine de la chanson française et son présent le plus vif, ainsi qu’un avenir qu’il nous appartient d’écrire, avec les artistes qui nous ont déjà rejoints et ceux que nous ferons venir à nous.

A la tête d’une équipe expérimentée d’une dizaine de personnes toutes enthousiastes et passionnées, j’entends redonner à Barclay la dynamique créative et l’esprit singulier qui l’a toujours distingué. Le label fondé par Eddie et Nicole Barclay célèbrera ses 70 ans dans les prochains mois, et à travers cette renaissance de la plus mythique des marques discographiques françaises, un temps mis en sommeil, je souhaite que l’on perpétue cet héritage avec le même attachement qui animait ses fondateurs et ceux qui leur succédèrent à travers les époques. Barclay a toujours été la maison des artistes populaires comme des personnalités fortes de la chanson et de la pop, celle où cohabitaient aussi bien Dalida que Jacques Brel, Michel Delpech que Léo Ferré, Daniel Balavoine que Alain Bashung. A l’instar des grandes figures qui ont dirigé cette maison par le passé, je souhaite en faire un des carrefours les plus enviés de la création musicale et le lieu où les artistes majeurs poursuivent leur route en toute quiétude. Les noms de ceux qui nous rejoignent en disent déjà long sur cet esprit et sur la hauteur de notre exigence. Des « historiques » de Barclay sont de retour sur leur label fétiche (Bernard Lavilliers, Stephan Eicher, Vanessa Paradis, Carla Bruni) et d’autres viennent agrandir le cercle, non des moindres : Etienne Daho, Jane Birkin, William Sheller, Juliette et Gauvain Sers. La Grande Sophie, Stephan Eicher et Louise Attaque seront les premiers, dans les mois qui viennent, à voir le mythique logo originel de Barclay inscrit sur leurs nouveaux albums.

Je suis impatient, avec mon équipe, à l’idée de prolonger cette merveilleuse aventure, pas uniquement pour sortir des albums qui marqueront la carrière déjà glorieuse de ces artistes, ce dont je suis convaincu, mais aussi pour en découvrir de nouveaux qui perpétueront cette histoire. En ces temps d’agitation et de mutations permanentes, remettre la musique et la création au centre du jeu, donner du temps à l’accomplissement et des moyens pour produire des œuvres, demeure la plus noble et stimulante des missions.
