Wine Valentine - Ammon story pt.1 & pt.2

The day after The Valentine's party ended successfully.

While I was resting in my room I remembered the time I spent with Ammon...

A few days ago a party was held at Grosvenor's house...

I was visiting a party venue that Ammon and the others were preparing.

Ammon: So..! Will the wall decorations look like this?

You: Things are going well, aren't they?

Ammon: That's right. We have also decided on which food and wine will be served.

Ammon: The preparations are almost finished. I'll have some spare time.

You: Right.

Ammon: Ah, also. As we've come to Grosvenor's mansion...

Ammon: Aruji-sama. Should we take a walk in the garden?

You: Eh..?

Ammon: I took a glimpse at it as I was preparing for the party. It was a lovely garden.

Ammon: There aren't many chances to visit Grosvenor's garden. I'll make sure to escort aruji-sama properly♪

Ammon: So, aruji-sama... Will you spend some time with me?

You: That seems a bit intimate...

Ammon: Isn't that good..? There's no one here now.

Hanamaru: ... We are literally here?

Ammon: Oh? If it isn't Hanamaru-san.

Hanamaru: Don't "oh" me. We've been here from the very beginning.

Ammon: Hehe. My bad~

Ammon: There's only lord in my eyes...

Bastien: Hm... That's not good, Ammon-san.

Bastien: As aruji-sama's butler... You should always be aware of your surroundings.

Ammon: Are you serious, Bastien..

Yuhan: Fufu... I also don't think that it's good to keep things all to yourself, Ammon-san.

The butlers bowed. They left me alone with Ammon as they left to pick up the windflowers.

Ammon: They're gone....

You: Let's choose the vase together.

Ammon: Oh-ho? What did you say, aruji-sama?

Ammon: What vase? I've already put one in another room next to ours. (This dude---)

You: Eh...?

Ammon: Hehe. Which flowers would decorate the venue have been decided in advance.

Ammon: We have arranged the perfect tableware... The only thing to do was to decorate it with flowers.

Ammon: Everyone decided to collect flowers by themselves.. I just went along with that♪

Ammon: Teasing..? I'm being honest, aruji-sama.

Ammon: The words of feeling the importance of aruji-sama... There's not even a single lie.

Ammon: Thinking how to spend more alone time with aruji-sama... As a result, I alienated other butlers.

Ammon: Hey... What are the true intentions of aruji-sama..?

Ammon: For someone like me... Is it okay to tell my true feelings..?

You: A-Ammon..

I was fully aware that it was the part of his strategy, but... When I look in those serious eyes... I can't help but speak my true feelings.

Lato: Kufufu... That's it, Ammon-kun.

You: !?

Ammon: Oh? Isn't that Lato-san?

Ammon: And everyone else... Have you already finished picking the flowers up?

Hanamaru: No. Actually, we were interrupted by the guard.

Yuhan: He said that the flowers were needed to decorate the party venue...

Yuhan: "You can't pick these flowers! Go to a flower shop!" is what he said...

Yuhan: Jeez.. That's a real problem for those, who can't understand simple beauty.

Bastien: Since we had no other choice, we decided to come back.

Hanamaru: Hehe. Looks like we made the right decision.

Hanamaru: Had it been a bit later, Ammon would pick the most beautiful flower.

Ammon: No wa~y, Hanamaru-san. Don't say such bad things about me.

Ammon: I just wanted to enjoy the atmosphere of The Valentine's day. Surely, aruji-sama would understand that it's just for fun♪

Hanamaru: However, why is aruji-sama's face so red?

Lato: It's good that there are vases in other room.

You: U-Uhm...

Ammon: Alright, everyone! There's a little time left to prepare for the party.

Ammon: Let's all work hard to collect the most beautiful flowers♪

Hanamaru: Ah. Changing the topic.

Yuhan: Fufu. But Ammon-san is right.

Yuhan: Since we have time... Let's all work hard to make the best pre-party.

Bastien: Yeah.. That's right.

So I watched as Ammon and the others decorated the venue... I wonder whether Ammon was serious or not earlier...

"So that's how it is" I thought as I flipped through the wine catalog. Ammon was very hospitable at the pre-party... Now, it's my turn to repay him. I bought him wine from Rosetown... And for Ammon... I prepared his favorite cheese. Being happy with him... I wanted to express it in a gift.

Knock knock.

You: Come in.

Ammon: As I said, I came alone, aruji-sama~

Ammon: I heard that you wanted to do something...

Ammon: Hehe. Maybe it has to do something with The Valentine's day~?

You: I want to give this to you.

Ammon: Eh? This is...

Ammon: Wine..? And, could it be..

Ammon: Really... Could it be a Valentine's gift?

You: - That's right.

- Thank you, Ammon.

Ammon: Hehe. Thank you, aruji-sama.

Ammon: This is... Rosetown's wine, right?

You: Apparently it goes well with cheese.

Ammon: Really? You've adapted it to my taste!

You: If you'd like, you can drink now.

When I said that, Ammon sat at the table I had prepared in advance. He took the empty glass and some cheese.

Ammon: Hehe... I had never thought that I would spend The Valentine's day with aruji-sama...

Ammon: Of course, I'll drink some! Because everything is delicious when I'm with aruji-sama.

Ammon: So, excuse me...

As Ammon pour some wine into the glass, he fully enjoys the scent. As he takes one sip... He takes some time to enjoy the taste.

Ammon: ... It's delicious, aruji-sama.

Ammon: The moment you open the bottle, there's a faint fragrance...

Ammon: It felt like flowers had bloomed in my mouth.

Ammon: Aruji-sama's feelings... They feel like flowers with no thorns.

Ammon: Hehe. I can't believe you gave me such a wonderful present...

Ammon: Really... Aruji-sama likes me♪

As usual, Ammon says something that is hard for me to respond to... But today I was a little braver than usual.

You: I really do.

Ammon: Eh...

You: I want you to continue being by my side.

Ammon: Erm... Aruji-sama...

Ammon: That's... Could it be....

Ammon: The revenge for pre-party time?

You: Did your heart flutter...?

Ammon: Hehe. It pretty much did♪

Ammon: I've never expected it from aruji-sama...

Ammon: But... If you allow me to give you a piece of advice...

Ammon: Don't you think the main part was revealed a little bit too early?~

Ammon: If only you could make me more nervous... It'd be more interesting~

You: I'm nothing like Ammon...

Ammon: Hehe. Well, I'm a pro in this sphere.

Ammon: ( Although, if I was more nervous... I doubt that I'd be able to restrain myself...)

You: What's wrong?

Ammon: N-No... Nothing!

Ammon: Spending The Valentine's day with aruji-sama is the best... I had to clench my teeth.

Ammon: Well then. We have wine and cheese...

Ammon: Just a little bit longer... Is it okay if I spend some more time being happy? Aruji-sama...

You: Of course.

Although I said something like that to make Ammon's heart flutter, I had to gather all my courage up.... I had to back up... I was more nervous, than I thought I'd be. And now... I wonder if Ammon always harbors feelings like that. While I was thinking about it... I spent some time with Ammon on The Valentine's day.

Aymeric de Borel Headcanons

This is a list of the important headcanons that I personally hold for Aymeric and I have these in mind as I write him in my fics. I am not entirely certain how “popular” of an interpretation that I have of him, and quite frankly, I’m not here to have the “popular” interpretation, or to say that this is the “right” one either. This is simply how I have always seen him and I felt the need to share with you all.

If you hold a different view of Aymeric than myself, feel free to share your thoughts with me, but please be respectful of my views and those of others that you might see in the replies. I was inspired to write this post up because of @miqomischief, so thank you for sharing your thoughts!! Now, onto the headcanons!

Content warning: discussion of sensitive and potentially triggering topics, such as religious trauma, violence, and torture. Will also include discussion of mental health issues, such as clinical depression and PTSD. Under the cut below:

First, I must start with Aymeric’s birth. As of now in canon, we have zero knowledge about Aymeric’s mother, even the lorebooks have nothing to say about her. It also seems as though he was adopted right after he was born by the Borels. That all being said, it’s highly likely that Aymeric’s mother was a lowborn woman who either died in childbirth, or heaven forbid, Thordan and/or the church might’ve had her killed and the chirurgeons were able to save her baby but not her.

Either way, it must be hard on Aymeric to finally have the confirmation of who his birth father was, and must deal with everything his father had done, but still don’t know about his birth mother. I wonder if later on he will try to investigate the mystery and find out the truth about his mother. If we never get the canon account, I might expand on this in the future and come up with something myself.

I imagine the Borels were incredibly loving parents, always loving and treating Aymeric as their own child, and he never questioned how much his adoptive parents loved him. And yet they couldn’t shelter Aymeric from the constant bullying by other children about the rumors of him being the Archbishop’s bastard son.

Though I like to think that Aymeric got his insanely good looks from his mother, it’s still very noticeable that Thordan is his father, especially in the scene where Aymeric confronts Thordan, as Aymeric’s ice blue eyes are the same as Thordan’s. So even though Aymeric couldn’t prove his true lineage until that moment, everyone around him whispered that he was a bastard of the Archbishop, and he was scorned for this his whole life.

Because of this, Aymeric has struggled with his self-esteem, and he never had that many close friends. I imagine that outside of his family and their few servants whom the Borels treated like their family, Aymeric must’ve been pretty lonely, especially with finding friends his own age.

Another pressure on him was the fact that his loving adoptive parents, the only parents he has ever known, were elderly, and they would pass away long before others’ parents would. He would have to face adulthood and find his own place in the world without them, and that must’ve been devastating for him when they did pass away.

I assume that the Borels both died long before we meet Aymeric in the MSQ, so I think that it must’ve happened after Aymeric comes of age and joins the Temple Knights. This is because Aymeric is still using the bow and arrow when he meets Estinien in the short story Through Fire and Blood, but he was gifted Naegling, the Borel family sword, obviously before we meet him. So, sometime between the events of the short story and when Aymeric is promoted to Lord Commander of the Temple Knights, is likely when the Borels died.

I imagine that Aymeric joins the Temple Knights for multiple reasons, one being the obvious one of him wanting to protect his homeland and the Ishgardian people, but I think that he also wants to be included in something larger than himself, something that he will feel included, where he can be recognized and respected. The Temple Knights are where he can rise through the ranks and gain a better reputation, and not just be known for his suspected parentage.

I think that Aymeric did want the position of Lord Commander of the Temple Knights, as he had finally found a place where he felt he belonged; he would also be able to make a difference in the war effort and bring about change in Ishgard. But he had no plans on being the Lord Speaker of the House of Lords, and had to be talked into it, as is suggested in the ending scenes of Heavensward.

Stemming from the bullying in his childhood, as I mentioned before, I believe Aymeric has several mental health issues, including low self-esteem and bouts of self-loathing, clinical depression, and more recently PTSD due to the effects of the Dragonsong War, his time imprisoned in the Vault when he was tortured, and then his attempted assassination.

Though all of us Aymeric fans love to gush about how insanely gorgeous the man is, I doubt that Aymeric himself feels that he is that physically attractive. Perhaps he is aware that others find him attractive, but he probably thinks it’s due to his pretty face and nothing else.

Why is this? Well, I have always imagined that Aymeric has many scars on his body, from not only his years of fighting on the battlefield, but also the torture he endured while imprisoned in the Vault, and he also has a large stab wound from the attempted assassination. I think he must have marks around his neck, wrists, and ankles from being shackled, and potentially many cuts and burns all over his torso, especially if someone like Charibert was the one who was torturing him for information. I don’t believe Aymeric is going to find his body attractive after all of this has happened to him.

Without going into too much detail about the torture, Aymeric was imprisoned and Thordan had told the Heavens’ Ward to “question him thoroughly”. Then we see Aymeric limping as he attempts to talk Thordan out of his plans. He clearly has suffered physically and mentally due to his imprisonment. As Aymeric himself says, “Some scars do not heal.” That’s all the evidence we have of what happened in the Vault from the MSQ, and the rest I have inferred from reading about Charibert’s background.

Another factor that has affected Aymeric greatly is the Ishgardian Orthodox Church, and it’s strict teachings. The religious trauma he has experienced just adds another layer onto him trying to gain a better reputation for himself. In doing so, I surmise that Aymeric has made sure not to have any casual sexual relationships, as he would want to properly court a partner in accordance with Ishgardian tradition. On that note, I personally see Aymeric as demisexual/demiromantic and can be attracted to any gender.

To elaborate on my last point, I do not think Aymeric would ever have a casual sexual encounter. This is not only because of the church’s teachings that he would’ve grown up with, but because he is a bastard and has been shunned his whole life because of what his parents did, so I don’t think he would ever put himself in a position for such a situation to happen again, regardless of the gender of his partner. I think he would just take his time in getting to know someone and not jump into bed with someone without a serious commitment, and he would want to court a partner properly.

Overall, I think that Aymeric tries his best to make himself seem perfect, and though he truly is kind, compassionate, brave, and dutiful, that is certainly not an act, but I do think he is much less confident than he lets on. He is good at looking calm, collected, and seemingly put together. Aymeric has true leadership qualities that make him have the image of the perfect leader that Ishgard needs, but deep inside, I believe he is very hard on himself and doesn’t see himself how others do.

I also believe Aymeric is really lonely. He still seems to not have many friends, and he longs for companionship, which is evident when he asks after his friend Estinien and whenever he sees the Warrior of Light. He drops his Lord Commander mask and he genuinely smiles and even seems giddy when he’s around the Warrior of Light.

The dinner with Aymeric is also evidence that he wants more in his life than just his duty, as he seems to genuinely be interested in the Warrior of Light and their adventures—he is extremely happy if you invite him to come with you on an adventure sometime. No, Aymeric would never shirk his duty just to run away with the WoL, I can never see him ever doing such a thing. However, he clearly is lonely and some part of him likely wants to go adventuring when his duties as Lord Speaker are complete.

Overall, I do think Aymeric has the background and the qualities that could make him a great villain—savvy at politics, manipulating people to get them onto his side, persuading others to do as he bids, all of which he seems to do when he’s Lord Commander and Lord Speaker. But he only has good intentions, and he uses his abilities as a force for good in the world, and not for personal gain. And that is what makes all of the difference. He is a hero because he chooses to be, and he chooses to rise above the circumstances of his birth and what Thordan had wanted for him. That’s why Aymeric is a hero.

Ultrakill is a fast paced first person shooter that gives the war machine you play as a reason to be the coolest thing around while killing everything in its path. It's also an evil and twisted game because it has a stupid high skill ceiling and fucking stupid challenges but it has silly little secrets and a banger ost so it cancels that out.

ultrakill is about you the player wrecking hell as v1, a robot who's only goal is to find fuel. which in this case, is blood. and it HAS to be fresh, u cant cheat by draining some poor bloke thats been killed already you NEEEED it newly milked from the flesh. You wreck hell's shit so bad they have to send the archangel gabriel down to stop you. you beat the shit out of him. I want him dead. u beat the shit of him a second time later on and he has a gay awakening. unimportant. i still want him dead. u also beat a bunch of other blokes like your evil shadow skull self and whatever creatures hell throws at u so you keep running deeper into hell (the game splits hell into layers so we have 8 available (technically 7 since one is like the intro). we dont know why other than v1 just wants blood. idk what theyre cooking. theres a fishing minigame and visual novel in it. also the witness.

Anyway if u couldnt tell the game takes some serious christian-media influences (divine comedy, devil may cry) and also has stuff from greek mythos bcs you have the ferryman and king minos and the minotaur. the worldbuilding theyve done for the game is crazy good i dont wanna say much bcs its fun to go around in game and discover things. the game is still in early access so we have to wait and see what comes next. it doesnt even have steam achievies yet.....

Hey you! It is of my belief that Zenkichi Hasegawa from Persona 5 Strikers, spin-off sequel to the game Persona 5, is perhaps one of - if not the most pathetic guy, if you will.

Well, we have a chance to vote for him in @patheticmenscuffle! And you may be wondering to yourself, "why should I vote for Zenkichi in this pathetic man scuffle? What makes him a pathetic wet rag of a man?"

Not to worry, dear tumblr user!

While I could tell you of why Zenkichi is an interesting character, about his relationship with his daughter who he'd protect with his life, about the moment he awakened his Persona... Or any other time where he was generally very cool, or interesting character...

Well that wouldn't tell you why he is so very pathetic, now would it?

For as much as he has cool, interesting moments... He has infinitely more where he is just an absolute fucking loser.

Dude gets bullied by teenagers on a regular basis. He freaks out over everything. He keeps trying to "fit in" with the Phantom Thieves by repeatedly giving off so much "how do you do fellow kids" energy it made me physically cringe the first time I saw it. Tried to learn a recipe from the protagonist and his friends since his daughter liked it and proceeded to set things on fire. His boss told him multiple times not to get attached to a group of teens and he failed at every possible moment - even ended up getting fired from his job because guess how attached he got to them. Also he stands like a character from The Sims for some reason - doesn't really have anything to do with his inherent patheticness, I just wanted to mention it.

i finished & posted the ITNL 14 re-edits, WHICH MEANS!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm officially done with my re-edits project!!!!!!!!!! :D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ive been thinking a lot today about my plans for ITNL 15, AND i have tomorrow off, so if all goes well i'll be able to start writing again. TOMORROW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m just gonna do the punch out wii guys for this but if you request it again for the super punch out guys I’ll happily do it for them then, if that’s ok.

Doc: This man was ecstatic when you gave him the news that you were pregnant, honestly you couldn’t go anywhere without this man letting people that you were expecting. Would definitely give you his back up chocolate bar if you were ever hungry, and only occasionally asks Mac to do a food run for your cravings if he’s busy with other preparations for your kid.

Once your kid has finally been popped out don’t be surprised if he brings them along to Mac’s training and matches. He wants to spend as much time with both of his kids as he can.

Glass Joe: This man definitely cried and just held you once you told him you were expecting. Joe doesn’t want you to lift a finger in your house while you’re pregnant as he can do everything for you ,because he is your big strong man. Will definitely ask Kaiser to come round to help make things for the baby room as Joe wants to surprise you with it.

Once you have your kid Joe will be essentially wrapped around their tiny finger, as he will buy them whatever their tiny hearts desire. But there still will be the occasion when he will put his foot down, it mainly revolves around his kid’s dating life as he doesn’t want to have their heart broken.

Von Kaiser: It was definitely a shock to him when you told him you were pregnant but he was definitely happy about it. Much like Joe he doesn’t want you to be lifting a finger when sorting out preparations for the baby as he wants to make sure everything is perfect. Has a lot of sleepless nights over thinking he might not be a good dad, vents to Joe about it a lot.

Very much the strict parent to your kid but won’t stop them from having fun with their friends unless it gets dangerous. Just wants the best for your child and if they want to take up boxing he will happily teach them all his moves.

Disco Kid: Once you told he immediately notified all of the minor circuit as well as all of your friends and family, he’s just so excited. Will go all out in the preparations for your kid, might even ask his mom for any advice that helped her out during her pregnancy. Goes to all the parenting classes that are available where you both live.

Definitely the fun dad when you’re kid is growing up and definitely helped his kid choose their musical identity thanks to all the styles he played for them when growing up. Probably the most supportive dad when it comes to all the hobbies and interests his kid has no matter what it is.

King Hippo: A massive feast will be prepared at once as this is a joyous occasion for him and his people. You will be waited on hand and foot as well as told how great it is that the Hippo line will be able to live on.

Once out in the world you’re child will never have to question if they are loved or not. Lots of naps for all three of you using Hippo’s stomach as a pillow.

Piston Hondo: Another crier when you tell them and he may even hold tightly until he can get a better grasp on his emotions. Will pull back on his training for a bit until you’re child is born as he wants to be there for every moment of the pregnancy. Will only really tell his and your families of the upcoming pregnancy and is quite tight lipped about it with the other boxers.

Hondo occasionally involves your kid in his training sessions mainly using them as an extra weight that he has strapped to his back. Definitely reads manga to your kid as bedtime stories mostly stuff like sailor moon, chi’s sweet adventures and nichijou.

Bear Hugger: Will pick you up and dance around with in his arms the moment you finish telling him, he’s just so overjoyed with the news. He doesn’t really want you to lift a finger when it comes to getting things ready for the baby but if you really push him, he’ll let you go do what think needs to be done unless it’s heavy lifting then sorry sweetheart that’s his job. Told Miss Bear and the Squirrel immediately about your pregnancy so should a jerk be messing with you at this time then just know a very angry bear will scare them off in minutes.

Almost never puts your kiddo down but does so whenever he’s training or cutting down trees. Will attempt to teach his kid hockey no matter what as it is the national sport.

Great Tiger: He’s so overjoyed with the news and immediately calls the rest of his family (but mainly his mother) to let them know of the great news. There is need for you sort out any of the preparations as he can just use his clones to sort out everything.

When you’re kid came out into the world Tiger will be wanting to teach them the mystic arts almost immediately but is willing to wait until they reach the age of 9 or 10. He is overall very doting to your child.

Don Flamenco: This man is in shock when you first tell him and he will ask you to repeat yourself a few times before it fully sets in. Not to say that he isn’t happy about it he’s underprepared for it.

As soon as the baby has arrived except him to send so many baby photos to his best girl-friend (and the baby’s god mother )Carmen. He one hundred percent gives his kid all of his tips and moves when it comes to the world of romance as his kid will be quite the heartbreaker.

Aran Ryan: Aran at first thought that you were joking but very quickly realised that you weren’t and much like Bear Hugger he picks you up and swings you around the room. You get a lot of support from his family as soon as he tells them which would be around the end of the first trimester, because he honestly just forgot to tell them and just assumed he had told them when he made a casual comment on it during a call with his mum.

Will literally shove your kid in the boxers faces as soon as he possibly can especially Don’s as Aran reckons that even though his kid is an infant it could probably still kick Don’s ass.

Soda Popinski: It is a joyous day in the Popinski household when you tell him you’re pregnant with his kid, many drinks will be consumed that night as well as many happy tears will be shared. He will hand craft his kids cot/bed much like his own father did when Soda was just little.

Once the kid is in his arms the fact that he is a father now will hit Soda like a truck and cause him to cry, which in turn makes the baby cry in response. Locks away his many crates of special boxing soda from his kid as he doesn’t want to find out what would happen if you found out he let your child have some, maybe when they are older he’ll let them have a try.

Bald Bull: He is joyful at the moment you give him the news of your pregnancy but he worries about the paparazzi finding out as he wants his kid to grow up in some form of relevant peace. Only tells a few trustworthy people about what lies in store for you and him in the not so distant future, as well as attempting to at least work on his anger issues.

As soon as the kid is born Bull takes some time off from boxing a temporary absence as he doesn’t want to miss any of your baby’s firsts. As soon as the kid is old enough Bull teaches them the complete in’s and out’s of life on the ranch, doesn’t matter what gender they are, life is tough and Bull will make his child even tougher.

Super Macho Man: The tabloids knew about your pregnancy almost one hour after you told Macho, in his defence the people had to know that in almost a year’s time not only would he be a type of silver fox but a dilf as well. Only buys the most top quality of items for your baby as well as yourself coz when isn’t this man not spoiling you.

As soon as you’re kid is at the cute baby stage and not the wrinkly potato stage Macho is creating a social media page for your kid because to him it’s never to early to start that social media grind. Definitely had a few issues at the start of your kids life about if he would ever be a good dad or not.

Mr Sandman: When you told him you were expecting he just gently pulled you into his arms and told you how excited he was but also how this would be the first time he is actually scared of something. Cut’s only back slightly on training when it gets closer and closer to your due date as he will not miss your child’s birth for anything.

As soon as your kid starts school Sandman will immediately be joining that school’s PTA and is the most effective when it comes to making good changes for the school as a lot of the mom’s have a major crush on him. Is super supportive of child and what they want to do with their life and will do his best to read up on his kids interests so he and your child have something to really bond over.

had a dream about randomly waking up and being Conner and M'gann's future kid or smth with absolutely no clue as to how i got there and now i'm thinking of a dp yj crossover with Danny being their kid and ending up in the same scenario.

like, he has enhanced strength and has a lot of powers similar to a martian, so this could actually work p good.

Okay, i see this as going one of two ways:

Danny is actually their kid, but Danny's memories of his past life (DP canon) catch up with him and mess with the memories of his current life.

Danny is not their kid, he has no idea how he got here and why these people insist he's their son. He's half-convinced this is one of Vlad's schemes and/or that they're kidnappers. (I'm leaning more towards this one)

Either way there would probably be a lot of Danny freaking out and trying to run away as soon as he could. This includes, of course, a panicked use of his powers, which surprises Conner and M'gann enough for him to escape.

At this point, he'd try to make his way to Amity Park and either find that it doesn't exist, was completely destroyed, or there's no evidence of ghost attacks/the Fentons/Sam and Tucker/anyone Danny might recognize.

Danny... has a bit of a rough time.

Regardless of which option I choose ('actually their kid' vs 'not their kid'), the reason things are different in Amity is because this is years in the future and also a different universe. It's probably Clockwork's fault tbh.

Danny doesn't know he's in an alternate universe so he kinda just, yknow, gets real sad and falls asleep in the park or something.

Conner and M'gann get some help and track him down. They're pretty heart broken to find their little boy sleeping on a bench with clear tear tracks on his cheek. They take him back to the bioship and discuss how to talk to him when he wakes up and how to help him with his 'new powers'.

When Danny wakes up in Conner and M'gann's house, he's much more resigned and quieter than before. Kinda listless too.

He doesn't know where he is, FentonWorks was destroyed/doesn't exist so he can't go into the Ghost Zone and ask Clockwork for help, and Vlad hasn't shown his face so he's just... stuck with these people.

there'll probably be a meeting with Dinah or something after a while of Danny showing the same behaviour and eventually, maybe, perhaps everyone will figure out Danny's from an alternate universe, but for reasons I haven't determined yet, he can't go back.

Eventually Danny will realize that Conner and M'gann aren't so bad, especially compared to his real parents, and will start to warm up to them. Maybe there will be a key moment when he actually seeks out one or both of them for comfort that cements them as trustworthy adults, at the very least.

then blah blah fluff blah blah angst blah blah story and Danny warms up to them a lot more and starts thinking of them as an uncle and aunt in his head (ignoring the fact that they act more like parents than Jack and Maddie ever had)

THEN there's gonna be this big incident where every hero available is asked to help out, including Conner and M'gann, and Danny is staying with uhh, Lucas Carr or one of C&M's other friends.

Danny sneaks out to go help, obviously, and Conner and M'gann are Not Happy and trying to send him back home, but oops too late, no one can leave now because The Incident has become much Much worse and will probably destroy the Earth if they don't stop it soon.

At one point, The Incident makes a portal into the Ghost Zone, a portal that's within eyesight to Clockwork's lair, a portal that Danny could easily fly into and go home, but that would mean leaving before The Incident was resolved and he couldn't do that. He also couldn't leave without saying goodbye.

So he stays, and he fights, and he does everything he can to help.

And then

The heroes are down. Many are injured or out cold. No one is unscathed. There are only a handful of people left standing, including Danny, Conner, and M'gann.

They won't be able to resolve The Incident with just the handful of people awake and able to move. But Danny has an idea. A very very bad idea.

He looks at the portal, allows a brief moment of mourning, and then absorbs the energy of the portal into himself, literally channeling the energy of the Ghost Zone through himself, to make a huge beam or ecto-construct or massive blast of ghost ice to resolve The Incident.

The downsides to doing this is how absolutely drained he feels afterward. Oh, and by using up the portal's energy Danny caused the portal, possibly his only way home, to close.

Conner, as the strongest dude still awake and moving, watches over The Resolved Incident, and M'gann holds Danny as he mourns his home.
