Honestly this all star roster is the reason I think fan voting shouldn’t exist or should at least have a limited number of players per team that could join. There’s no way 9 players being from only two diff teams is fair. And who tf voted for georgiev!!!!
I am all in for the fan voting because the results usually reflect, who the fans want to see there outside of those, who had already been chosen by the league, but for heaven's sake, make limitations on how many players from each team can come.
As hot as Vancouver is this year, no one (outside of the Canucks fans) wants to see five of them there. Why are we filling five damn spots with players from a team that is nowhere near the most popular in the league? Why are we filling five spots with one team, to begin with?
I can, to a certain point, understand why there are four Maple Leafs since it is going to be held in Toronto (as much as I love him, I don't understand why Morgan was the 4th one "voted in"), but there should be maximum of three players representing a single team, no more than that.
If it was up to me - choosing those 44 players out of 32 teams, those eight allowed goalies are in italics:
Anaheim Ducks - Vatrano and Dostal
Vatrano leads the Ducks in points, it's understandable, and Dostal deserves it for the insane performances he has been putting out lately.
Honorable mention to McTavish.
Arizona Coyotes - Ingram and Keller
Another goalie, whose success the league and fans ignore.
Boston Bruins - Pastrnak, Marchand, and Swayman
This trio has everything - character, skill, popularity. Like Marchand or not, you have to admit that the content he creates for the camera is elite. Exactly what an All-Star Game needs.
And also, let's have the Toronto crowd go nuts because of three lone Bruins.
Buffalo Sabres - Dahlin
Calgary Flames - Lindholm
Carolina Hurricanes - Aho
Chicago Blackhawks - Mrazek (because Bedard is out with the operated jaw)
The only other player on the Blackhawks roster, who is worth watching. A legend.
Colorado Avalanche - McKinnon and Makar
Columbus Blue Jackets - Fantilli
Who on earth picked Boone Jenner over Fantilli?
Dallas Stars - Robertson and Oettinger
Detroit Red Wings - DeBrincat
Edmonton - McDavid and Draisaitl
Honorable mention to Hyman. I put Draisaitl there because I am biased as hell and because he is the most underrated jokester in the league.
Florida Panthers - Reinhart
Los Angeles Kings - Doughty
We need those defensemen and everyone knows Doughty. He is a funny guy and he is doing decent this season.
Minnesota Wild - Kaprizov
Montreal Canadians - Slafkovsky
He is always a hot topic, he is a comedian, great personality, shove him in there.
Nashville Predators - Forsberg and Josi
New Jersey Devils - Jack and Luke Hughes
New York Islanders - Barzal
I frankly know the bare minimum about the current state of the Islanders, so Barzal it is.
New York Rangers - Fox and Shesterkin
Ottawa Senators - Stützle
Why is it always Tkachuk? Why not switch it up a bit? Tim is leading the stats in Ottawa, has ridiculous 30+ assists, he is a funny likable guy... Let's boost the Germans in the league and have him and Draisaitl interact properly.
Philadelphia Flyers - Konecny
Pittsburgh Penguins - Crosby
Seattle Kraken - Dunn
The guy is leading the points in that team as a defenseman, he is a total social media catch lately, why isn't he on there? Why haven't the Seattle fans and his girlies voted for him?
St. Louis Blues - Thomas
Tampa Bay Lightning - Kucherov
Toronto Maple Leafs - Matthews, Marner, and Nylander
Gotta make the home audience happy.
Vancouver Canucks - Hughes and Demko
Pettersson was on here for a while too, he definitely deserves the spot, but we don't have enough space on here.
Vegas Golden Knights - Eichel
Washington Capitals - Wilson
Winnipeg Jets - Hellebyuck

quick thoughts since im a few beers deep trying to Numb The Sadness
1. please do not re-sign hronek. it was fun for a second when he was playing well, but completely disappeared after the asg and in the playoffs. he’s going to want 6-7 mil, the canucks cannot give him that.
2. please, can we please get a top-six winger. just one. anyone. please. spare scoring from a top-six winger not named brock boeser?????
3. re-sign dakota joshua. do not give him all the money in the world, but make that a priority. him a garland are gold — frequently bought together do not separate etc etc
4. we can be done with ian cole i think
5. cannot pay Big Z more than 5 mil. lets not make the same jay beagle, loui eriksson mistakes, please
6. IF we can afford it….. lindholm was nasty in the playoffs. i’d like to keep him on our team
7. mikheyev cannot dress one more game as a vancouver canuck. i dont care how it happens, get that man off our team
8. the canucks desperately need a better fourth line.
9. not off-season related but tocchet needs to hand off PP duties to an assistant next season. there needs to be a new voice, they were dreadful this series
10. we dont need desmith!
11. look, i never thought i would say this: bring back tyler myers. he THRIVES in tocchets system. we play better when he is with carson soucy as a shut down pair. dont give him longer than 2-3 yrs, but bring him back
12. finally, once chris tanev gets his cup, PLEASE bring him back home.

Adventures In Toronto
Wednesday - Arrival
The Canucks' private plane has touched down in Toronto for the All Star Game. Each Canuck have brought their partners, and Millsy and Thatcher have even brought their kids. Tocchet leads them to their cars after going through security. Joanna has never been to Toronto before. This is her sixth NHL city. Born and raised in Vancouver, where she still lives. She's been to San Jose, St Louis, and Miami with Elias for previous All Star Games. And Vegas with him when he won the Calder. She doesn't count her brief stop in Detroit when she flew out to see Elias and Quinn that summer, all she saw was the airport. ''God, this city is massive, isn't it?'' Olivia says.
Joanna nods, taking some pictures out the window. ''Yeah, hope this weekend is happier than the last game.'' She'll never forget saying goodbye to Bo, Holly, and the kids in Miami last year. She hates that Bo had to find out they handfasted while visiting. Elias holds her hand in his, and promises her. ''We arrive together, we leave together this time, alskling, promise.''
At the hotel, they meet up with Jack and the rest, and head in for some dinner. Then, on Tocchet's orders, it's bed time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thursday - Draft
Draft Day has come, the boys are all up early, but the ladies are given some extra sleep. Joanna is up at nine, the bed too cold without Elias next to her. She showers, and brushes her teeth, and gets her hair done into a nice half updo. She's doing her makeup, when a knock comes at the door. ''Come in.'' Bella and Olivia come in, dressed for the day already. ''Hey, girls, what's up?'' Joanna slides some tights on, and belts her favourite turtleneck dress up. Bella sits on the bed. ''We just wanted some advice about today, we've never done this before. You have.''
Joanna chuckles, and fiddles with her handfast ring. ''Oh, okay, well, what do you wanna ask me?''
Olivia takes a seat. ''How do we y'know... conduct ourselves? Like, there's so many important people here, how do we not look stupid in front of them?''
Joanna packs her purse, and zips her boots up. ''Just like you'd approach the boys, or coach. If Etiquette Classes taught me anything it was: be comfortable in yourself, and you're seventy percent there.'' Bella nods, turning pink slightly. ''It sounds so dumb to ask, but we're so new to all this, and you've been to four of these now, and...''
Joanna takes her friend's hands, assuring her. ''It's not dumb, Bells, it isn't. I lost count of how many times I turned to Holly and Amanda for advice back then. Wanna know a secret about San Jose?''
Olivia looks interested. ''Go on.'' Joanna laughs, smoothing down her skirt. ''I was terrified, stuck to Elias like glue all weekend, I was nineteen and absolutely petrified. Didn't help that my childhood crush was there. I was down bad for Kris Letang as a kid.''
The ladies all sit together for the draft. Joanna wrinkles her nose at the red jerseys their team are wearing, red has never been her favourite colour on Elias. The garish yellow stars don't help. Scarlett Miller wants up on her lap. ''Hi, sweetie, come on. What team do you want daddy going to, Scarly?''
Scarlett thinks for a minute. ''Uhm, Huggy's team.'' Olivia laughs, agreeing with the little girl. ''Me too.''
Sure enough Scarlett is a prophet, the pod sticks together, except for the new guy. Elias Lindholm going to a different team. The girls also stick around for the PWHL showcase.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Friday - Skills Competition
The Canucks, Devils duo, and Tkachuks are sitting down to breakfast together before the skills comp. The girls all dressed nice, the boys suited up. Joanna goes to grab some more tea from the buffet, half milk and two sugars as she likes, a distinct feeling of anticipation at their table. She gets back, the boys talking animatedly among themselves. ''Did I miss something while grabbing my drink?'' She asks Emma.
Emma nods, beaming, but not giving anything away. ''Yeah, you kinda did.''
Elias turns to her, blue eyes sparkling, and takes her hand in his. He goes into his pocket, producing a blue velvet box, it's happening, it's actually happening! ''Joanna, last summer, we made some promises to each other. I asked you in Sweden to handfast with me. Now, I ask you in Canada: Joanna, my love, will you marry me?'' He opens the box, producing a gorgeous ring, rose gold adorned with a diamond flanked by two rubies. Joanna, heart racing, says. ''Yes!'' He slides the ring onto her finger, and pulls her in for a kiss. ''Congrats, guys, it's the best feeling ever.'' Thatcher says.
Elias nods, his fiancee now on his lap. ''Thanks, Demmer, been waiting to do it for ages, figured this was a great time.'' He looks to his other half. ''Anna, are you okay?''
Joanna nods, green eyes glossy. ''Yeah, I just love you so much.'' Elias kisses her again. ''I love you too.''
Joanna makes the texts after Elias is called to the bus. Their people must know before the press find out later on today, she'd hate it if Theresa, her best friend, found out on TV in particular.
At the arena, the girls watch as McDavid wins fastest skater, Olivia says. ''Quinn came third, so that's good at least.'' She's always been Quinn's number one supporter, even before they got together. ''Yeah, can't wait for hardest shot.'' Lexie says, bouncing little Dawson on her lap. ''Neither can I, Elias basically owns that.'' Joanna says.
Elias manages 2 points in the one-timers event, Kate Peterson comes to the ladies during the passing challenge. ''Good afternoon to our Canuck ladies, enjoying the skills comp so far?''
Bella laughs, Brock isn't in it, so she's just there to support the others. ''Yeah, kinda didn't know what to expect, but this is so cool.'' Joanna nods in agreement. ''Been here before, but this one feels so different. We're not saying goodbye to anyone, and we're all together this year.'' Kate notices the ring, shimmering in the arena lights. ''I take it a Hockey wedding is on the horizon?''
Joanna nods, beaming again. ''Yeah, Elias proposed this morning.'' Elias also goes on to win the passing challenge.
Cale Makar wins hardest shot, McDavid wins stick handling and accuracy shooting. Georgiev wins the one-on-one challenge. ''Well, who would've guessed? Connor helps design the comp, and wins the thing!'' Olivia remarks, sounding a touch bitter.
They catch up with the boys backstage, Joanna slings her arms around her fiance's waist, and kisses him. ''Another skills comp done, darling, we've not missed one yet.''
Elias lets his hands clasp at the small of her back, and kisses her gently. ''Who are you supporting at Four Nations next year?'' Joanna says, matter of factly as always. ''The team my husband plays for.'' Elias, aquamarine eyes focused deeply into her emerald ones, like they have been since 2018, says. ''Good to know.''
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Saturday - Game Day
Joanna and the girls take their seats for the Team Hughes vs Team Matthews game. Despite his awful showing in the skills comp yesterday, Kucherov buries one to open scoring for Team Hughes. DeBrincat answers with a goal of his own just over a minute later. ''Come on, Jon, wake up, honey.'' Natalie urges her husband. Joanna turns her engagement ring on her finger, already used to the weight on her left hand. Anaheim star Frank Vatrano fires one past Oettinger for 2-1. ''I wish Brock could get one, he wasn't in the skills comp yesterday.'' Bella says.
DeBrincat adds another to the boards to tie it 2-2 going into the second half. Mitch Marner pads the lead as the second half begins, Elias gets the puck on his stick, and ties it, pointing to Joanna with his stick. Joanna, for her part, winks at him. ''That never gets old, huh?'' Olivia asks.
Joanna laughs, and says. ''Not even a little bit, Liv, no.''
Filip Forsberg puts Team Matthews ahead, but Brady Tkachuk responds just as his dad would've. ''That's my man, Brady!'' Emma cheers him on. Vatrano adds another goal for Team Hughes. Only for Forsberg to tie it with two minutes to go. ''Shootout time, buckle up, girls.'' Lexie says, sounding confident in her husband, so she should.
The shootout goes to the wire, with Alex DeBrincat scoring the game winner for Team Matthews.
Team Hughes and Team MacKinnon head back to the hotel for a late lunch after the games. Elias Lindholm finally getting to sit with his new team mates. ''Anything I should know before we head back to Vancouver?'' Lindholm asks.
Quinn, stepping into captain mode for a brief moment, says. ''Just that we're excited to have you on board, that's all.'' Thatcher adds to the primer. ''And, Garly, Blue, and JoDak are insane. But, in a good way.''
Elias adds. ''And, you're invited to a Canucks wedding this summer too.''
Lindholm smiles, weddings are always good news, no matter who it is. ''Thank you very much, congrats on that by the way.'' Joanna finishes her meal, and says. ''Thanks, we handfasted in Agne over summer too.''
Of all people, Sidney Crosby pipes up. ''Oh, did you? That's so cool! My grandparents did that too. Good luck on the wedding and marriage.''
Elias speaks for them, his fiancee too starstruck to speak. ''Thank you, Sid.''
That night, Joanna is just done getting ready for bed. Her face and hands moisturized, hair put in a braid, and case packed for their flight home tomorrow afternoon. She exits the bathroom, Elias is already fast asleep, big events like this have always tired him out, and the rush of the proposal is probably catching up to him. Joanna joins him in bed, and kisses his temple. ''Jag älskar dag, käresta.'' She whispers, and curls up with him, out in minutes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sunday - Home
It's all over and done with until 2027 now, bags are packed, and cars are loaded up for flights back to the other 31 cities. Joanna gets back from a shop with a box of chocolates and a card thanking the staff for housing them for the weekend. Farewells are said, and the Canucks family get into their cars, having not said any goodbyes, instead, they're heading back to Vancouver with someone. ''Nice weekend, love?'' Elias asks Joanna while she reads on the flight home.
Joanna nods, and marks her page. ''Yeah, feels odd that I've been with you for all four of these, but this is it until 2027. Four Nations next year, and then the Olympics.''
Elias chuckles, kissing her head. ''Yeah, it does in a way, doesn't it? We'll be married and starting our family by then. Excited for that?'' Joanna can't help the smile that comes to her face. ''Elias, I've been excited for that since we got together. That's never changed.'' Elias says, linking their pinkies together. ''Good, because so am I.''
Elias gets back to his movie, Joanna gets back to her book, and they return to their city with their family. A hectic weekend behind them, a busy work schedule ahead, and a wedding in summer. But, they're ready, they're together, and that's all that will ever matter.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A/N: OMG, this is finally done!! Had this in the pipeline since asg, but college and stuff got in the way. But, she's finally done! Happy with how this turned out.
The Flood Gates Are Officially Open for NHL Trade Season
In the last 72 hours, we've seen two major deadline pieces moved, suggesting the action around the league is set to pick up. The first domino to fall was Elias Lindholm. Lindholm was shipped from Calgary off to Vancouver for a hefty return, that included 27-year-old scoring winger Andre Kuzmenko.
Now reports indicate 11-year NHL veteran Sean Monahan headed west once again landing in Winnipeg with the Jets. Monahan has recorded 13G, 22A, with 104 SOG this season while playing 2C for the Montreal Canadiens, who received a 1st round selection, and a conditional pick as compensation from the Jets.
Thats now 3 of the top 10 players from TSN’s Trade Bait board that have been moved, a full month before the NHL trade deadline.
It was just one year ago the Vancouver Canucks were involved in cracking open the egg that is trade season as well. They traded Bo Horvat to the New York islanders on Jan 30, 2023. That started what was a flurry of a trade deadline last year, that was rambunctiously active, and caused the actual deadline day to be a snooze. It was only 9 days after the Canucks completed their initial trade with the Islanders that Vladimir Tarasenko was traded from St. Louis to The Rangers, and within two weeks Toronto was involved in the action as well, acquiring Ryan O’Reilly and Noel Acciari from St louis. I expect something similar from this year's trade season.
It's time to get excited, silly season has begun.
Thierry Neuville controla el Rally de la Acropólis luego de jornada de terror para el M-Sport, Jorge Martínez abandonó y reenganchará mañana
Una jornada de locos se vivió en el Rally de la Acropólis en Grecia, con los comandantes autos de M-Sport y Ford sufriendo grandes problemas en las primeras especiales del día y cediendo el liderato que ahora es un 1-2-3 de Hyundai. Thierry Neuville ha emergido como el puntero seguido a 27.9 segundos por Ott Tanak y con Dani Sordo a 52.9 segundos. Hyundai tiene opciones de ganar su tercer rally consecutivo y seguir acercándose a Kalle Rovanpera en el Mundial.
La pesadilla para el M-Sport comenzó bien temprano cuando en la SS7 el líder de la general, Sebastien Loeb sufrió problemas con el alternador y no pudo reparar quedando fuera de competencia. Las cosas empeoraban cuando Pierre Louis Loubet, segundo en la tabla hasta ayer, sufría un pinchazo en la rueda delantera izquierda y perdía valiosos minutos retrocediendo a lo que en ese momento era la P7. Más adelante, Gus Greensmith abandonó desde la P6 por problemas de motor, dejando al equipo que había partido dominando el rally teniendo que conformarse con migajas.
Otro que sufrió graves problemas fue el líder del campeonato, Kalle Rovanpera, que por segundo rally consecutivo sufrió un accidente. Esta vez, impactó un árbol con la parte trasera del Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 que le causó severos daños y acumula un retraso de más de 16 minutos con la punta. Desde la P19 general, Rovanpera sumará un segundo rally sin entrar al Top 10 y tendrá que conformarse con sumar algo en el Power Stage. Las cosas empeorarían para Toyota cuando un problema en la bomba de combustible dejaban fuera de carrera a Esapekka Lappi, que venía segundo detrás de Neuville.
En la categoría WRC2, Jorge Martínez Fontena había entrado al Top 10 pero debió abandonar en la SS9. El equipo Mapo Motorsport estaba trabajando en el Skoda Fabia Rally2 para dejarlo listo para reenganchar mañana. El boliviano Bruno Bulacia, que venía siendo el mejor de los latinoamericanos también abandonó. El paraguayo Fau Zaldívar se ubica P6 en WRC2 y el peruano Eduardo Castro, P16. En la WRC3 Open, el paraguayo Diego Domínguez ha tomado la punta por cerca de 20 segundos sobre un piloto local.
Quedan solamente tres especiales para la definición del Rally de la Acrópolis, un evento muy duro en la parte mecánica para los nuevos Rally1.
Clasificación (Etapa 13 de 16)
Neuville (Hyundai) 3:06:34.4
Tanak (Hyundai) +27.9
Sordo (Hyundai) +52.9
Evans (Toyota) +1:00.0
Loubet (Ford) +2:40.1
Breen (Ford) +3:47.2
Katsuta (Toyota) +4:41.2
Lindholm (Skoda) +5:58.4
Gryazin (Skoda) +6:43.0
Rossel (Citroën) +7:27.8
Netflix Films 2022
The movies in Netflix's schedule for 2022 have been revealed. Some films have already been released on the service, while others will soon. The good news is that you can get these  free movies on Netflix. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Good Nurse, and Enola Holmes 2 are just a few thrilling films that will be available on Netflix in 2022. There are also several current series that will remain accessible.
An overworked ICU nurse goes to her new, altruistic colleague for assistance when she needs it when she is overburdened. But when a patient passes away suddenly, the new employee is viewed suspiciously. This retelling of a timeless story is both endearing and captivating. You should immediately start watching this Netflix original series!
The global streaming rights to "The Good Nurse," based on the bestselling novel by Charles Graeber, have recently been acquired by Netflix. On October 26, 2022, it will make its streaming service debut. Danish writer-director Tobias Lindholm, who is nominated for a BAFTA, is the man behind the B-list actors Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne in The Good Nurse. Screenplay by Krysty Wilson-Cairns.
In Stamford, Connecticut, the US, production on The Good Nurse has begun. Both critics and supporters have praised it. There is a lengthy history of collaboration between Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne. When her patient's life is in danger, Chastain's character, who has a heart issue, asks for a louder heartbeat. The MPAA has given The Good Nurse an R rating, while the BBFC in the UK has given it a 15. The movie lasts for two hours.
An upcoming mystery movie in the United States, Luckiest Girl Alive, will be helmed by Mike Barker and based on Jessica Knoll's book. Connie Britton, Jennifer Beals, Scoot McNairy, Mila Kunis, and Finn Wittrock are starring in it. Release on Netflix is scheduled for 2022 and has already gotten favorable reviews.
The film is based on a book by New York Times bestselling novelist Jessica Knoll. Mike Barker, who helmed The Handmaid's Tale for Hulu, will direct the movie. In New York City, the actors and crew have been filming. Although the exact date is unknown, you may anticipate a fall release.
The movie will also be shown in a few cinemas when it debuts. This is the first time a Netflix original movie adaptation of a best-selling book has been released. A 2015 publication by Jessica Knoll served as the inspiration for the film. Thirty-eight languages have been used to translate the text, which has sold over a million copies.
An American slasher movie from 2022 is titled The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The screenplay was written by Chris Thomas Devlin, while Rodo Sayagues and Fede Alvarez contributed to the story. In the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series, the movie is the eighth one.
In 1974, the first movie in the collection was released. It recounts the adventures of Leatherface, a killer with a chainsaw who massacred a busload of teenagers. The teens had picked up a hitchhiker.
The acting is terrible, and the characters don't appear likable, despite the fantastic physical effects. The movie's uneven tempo also reveals continuity mistakes. For instance, the climax of a pursuit sequence may occur illogically. Carrie Fisher also has a bad hairdo.
In 2022, Netflix will start streaming The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Netflix is giving the movie a streaming release even though it missed the theatrical run. David Blue Garcia is helming the film, which will be a prequel to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre from 1974. Sally Hardesty and Leatherface will come back in the Slasher classic's sequel.
The cast of Enola Holmes 2, which includes Millie Bobby Brown as the enigmatic Enola Holmes and Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury, will be the same as that of the original movie. Helen Bonham Carter as Eudora and Adeel Akhtar as Lestrade will also appear in the series.Netflix will release Enola Holmes 2 in 2022. Enola Holmes and Sherlock Holmes's stories will be continued in the sequel. The part of Sherlock Holmes will be performed again by Henry Cavill, who originated the character in the previous movie. In the follow-up, Helena Bonham Carter will also appear.
An upcoming mystery movie titled Enola Holmes 2 is based on a young adult novel series by Nancy Springer. The film's director is Harry Bradbeer. In 2022, Netflix will make it available. This future episode will undoubtedly delight series fans. It will go perfectly with the Enola Holmes popular  movie released in 2020.
Inger Nielsen: Fredericia har brug for et socialt sundhedshus
Der er mange gode tanker i de ideer, som Venstres byrådsmedlemmer Louis Lindholm og Pernelle Jensen i Fredericia Kommune er kommet med. Forhenværende byrådsmedlem Inger Nielsen, ønsker dog, at man går endnu længere, da det er økonomisk sund fornuft, samtidig gavner det borgerne, der kan få det meste hjælp lokalt.  Inger Nielsen.
