'When you’re a parent you just want your kids to tell you things and when your kid comes to you with something important like that it’s really important to just not freak out and just gently encourage the conversation,' Heldens says, noting that a lot of this first season was about parenting to her. She and Gosselaar discussed how in these moments of confessing something, it can be less pressure for the person doing the confessing if he or she doesn’t have to look at the person he or she is talking to. 'I knew I wanted the scene to be one where they were looking in one direction, and then I was like oh obviously he has to braid her hair,' she says. 'That was the last really intimate conversation that they were going to have for 100 years so we wanted to make it really great.'

THE PASSAGE. An unexpectedly very good adaptation, despite the so many changes not only to the story as to the main characters. Being a tv show, it sure opts for a more melodramatic approach, however Justin Cronin's narrative also tends to focus more on the human nature than on science, rather romanticizing than approaching some subjects with a more critical eye (i.e., April wanting to lose her virginity at the apex of the apocalypse and Cronin´s innocent use of the expression "making love" when "having sex" would be way more accurate). Additionally, Saniyya Sidney´s performance is so good that you soon stop to compare her to the original Amy. Too bad The Passage was canceled by Fox after a single season. "It's always darkest..."

Untold Tales of Spider-Man Annual 1997

Inhalt:

Bei Osborn Chemical hat Dr. David Lowell superkräfte entwickelt und läuft glühend und fliegend amok. Spidey kommt zufällig vorbei und will ihn stoppen. Der Kampf endet damit das David einen Tank zerstört und Peter einfach wegspült.

Am nächsten Morgen hat Peter die Zwischenfall schon fast vergessen. aber David nicht. Panisch fliegt er durch die Stadt und kommt an Matt Murdock vorbei. Matt wird zu Daredevil um ihn zu helfen wird aber gleich angegriffen.

Peter verkauft die Fotos an Jonah und will mit Betty Ausgehen die aber keine Zeit für ihn hat.

Unterdessen lockt der Kampf Giantman und Wasp an die in der Nähe Autogramme geben. Giantman packt David doch dieser verdunkelt den Himmel und wird so groß wie Hank. Das wird bemerkt und die FV, Captian America, Iron Man, Thor, Dr. Strange und die X-Men eillen zu David der von der Presse Sundown genannt wird.

In Forest Hills begegnet Peter Flash und seiner Gang und erfährt vom Kampf. Sofort rennt er los und schwingt wo er hört das Sundowns Kräfte durch eine Solarabsortionsformel kommen.

Während der Bürgermeister vergebens versucht Bruce Banner zu erreichen und Namor den Nottfall ignoriert sammelt Peter weiter Infos und versucht dann mit Sundown zu reden. Doch er will nicht hören. Erst als er seine klrinr Freundin Mary unabsichtlich verletzt kommt Sundown zur Vernunft und gibt auf.

Thor bringt Mary ins Krankenhaus und Sundown stellt sich den Cops

Fazit:

Ein weitere tolles Untold tales wo alle Helden gegen einen Interissanten feunf versagen. Es gab dann eine Fortsetzung in der gegenwart aber das war es so ziemlich.
