Dětská pokožka: proč je pro ni nejlepší přírodní kosmetika?

Zdroj: pexels.com O ideální kombinaci nejlepší přírodní kosmetiky a citlivé pokožce dětí slýcháte jako rodiče snad ze všech stran. Proč je ale kůže těch nejmenších tolik delikátní, náchylná k poškození, podráždění nebo infekci? Ponořte se hlouběji do jejich specifik. Pomohou vám péči o ní lépe porozumět a převést do praxe.

Odlišné pH a struktura pokožky až do školního věku

Když se miminko narodí, pH jeho pokožky je 6,5 - tedy téměř neutrální. V prvních týdnech života ale postupně klesá na 5,5, čímž se blíží pH pokožky dospělého člověka. Jde o jev spojený s pomalým rozběhnutí metabolismu kůže a tvorby jejího ochranného kyselého pláště. Dokud tato ochranná bariéra není dostatečně vyvinuta, vaše dítě není plně chráněno před škodlivými mikroorganismy. A bude to chtít svůj čas; než dosáhne úplné zralosti, trvá to přibližně 6 let. Nicméně ani v následujících letech nemá epidermis rovnoměrnou tloušťku, která by dokázala ochránit pokožku pod ní před vnějšími vlivy. To znamená jediné - větší citlivost na UV záření, vyšší náchylnost k mechanické podráždění a nutnost specifické péče. Jakými dalšími vlastnosti se dětská pokožka liší od té vaší? - Jednotlivé vrstvy kůže jsou stejné, avšak mnohem tenčí. - Kojenci mají velký povrch kůže, a proto má tendenci být suchá a chladná. - Epidermis má vyšší obsah vody. - Kojenecká nebo dětská pokožka produkuje velmi málo kožního mazu nebo potu. - Dětská kůže velmi rychle ztrácí vlhkost. - Nedokonalý kyselý plášť kůže je náchylný k poškození.

Jak správně čistit pokožku dítěte?

Aby si jejich pokožka mohla vybudovat a rozvinout vlastní odolnost vůči nečistotám a choroboplodným zárodkům, neměli byste děti urputně chránit před všemi vnějšími vlivy. Jakkoliv to může znít neuvěřitelně, pravidelný kontakt se zvířaty, špínou nebo prachem je pro rozvoj dětí důležitý a ochrannou bariéru pokožky posiluje. Umýt se samozřejmě musí, ale snažte se udržet rozumné proporce. 1. Umývání Nezapomínejte, že koupání pokožku vysušuje. Proto by nemělo nikdy trvat déle než 10 minut, používat byste měli pouze vlažnou vodu. Ještě lepší je, když můžete dítě místo sezení ve vaně pouze opatrně osprchovat. 2. Výběr produktů Používejte jemné mycí prostředky bez zbytečných a potenciálně nebezpečných přísad: - minerální oleje nebo parafíny - vazelína - silikony - mikroplasty - umělá barviva a parfemace Tyto složky nejenže dráždí pokožku těch nejmenších (i vaši), ale mohou také způsobovat alergie. Místo toho vsaďte na přírodní oleje bohaté na vitamíny minerální látky - olivový, kokosový, avokádový mají pro vaše miminko ty nejlepší vlastnosti. Skvělé jsou také výtažky z bylin, jako je heřmánek, měsíček nebo aloe vera. 3. Osušení Po koupání dítě osušte jemným poklepáním na pokožku ručníkem. Nikdy ale ručníkem netřete! Po koupeli může být mokrá kůže ještě náchylnější k podráždění.

Extra péče o citlivou pokožku kojenců a dětí

I tady platí, že méně je více. Zaměřte se proto především na udržení vláhy a po koupeli nebo sprchování vmasírujte do pokožky hydratační krém. I tentokrát vybírejte tělová mléka nebo krémy, jenž neobsahují složky na bázi minerálních olejů nebo mikroplastů. Pečující přípravky používejte pravidelně, ale šetrně. Krému nanášejte jen tolik, kolik je pokožka schopna vstřebat. Při péči o dětskou pokožku musíte být obzvlášť opatrní a šetrní, s koupáním a množstvím kosmetických produktů to ale nepřehánějte. Zaměřte se na ochranu svého děťátka před extrémním teplem a chladem a před přímým slunečním zářením. Používejte lehké a jemné pečující přípravky, jenž pokožce doplní hydrataci, kterou jinak lehce ztrácí. A hlavně, udělejte si z péče o dítě svůj vlastní rituál doplněný o masáž. Tak nebude pravidelné koupání bojem, ale naopak příležitostí k vytvoření pevného pouta mezi vámi. Read the full article
