Hello, Blank the series community!

How are we processing the ending of season 1? Are you angry? Do you understand Khun Neung's actions? Do we want to hit her? Yes, you say? 🤣🤣🤣

I wanted to wait a bit (also got busy at work lol) to avoid any spoilers for anyone who don't watch Episode 6 and last one for a while... I don't know how I'm gonna cope with it tbh... I'm following 23.5 and other web series but tbh... never on the level of Blank... I have to admit that GAP did it first but Blank did it better... which, no shade to GAP because FreenBecky, my beloved, chemistry was so good too!

And to clarify, GAP the series also had its own set of problems, most of them regarding money and locations, but what they did, opened the door for more GLs. Some, with good and bad executions, but that's up to each person and their preferences to decide!

BUT ENOUGH OF GAP (the perfect GL, to me!) Let's talk about BLANK!

As a start... I didn't like that they began from when Aneung knocked on Neung's door... it ate like 4 more minutes with them, plus they didn't keep the same tension.

On Episode 5, the tension was felt thanks to the zoom on their faces that lasted quite a good amount of seconds and Faye's minuscule lean.

This time it was cut and then bam! KISS! (NOT THAT I'M COMPLAINING!)

I'm not gonna go on full detail because I believe we all watched the episode, there are a few technical things I want to point out but I won't because nah! There was some foreshadowing to the doom that was to come... and no, I don't say this as a person who has read the book 🤭

I will go straight to that last part...

I had to go back to read that last part in the book because I wanted to keep this as accurate as I can.

So, throughout the episode, we see Aneung's family praising how good of a Role Model Neung is for Aneung. This is the first red flag. Then we see Neung still having doubts about their age gap which I find normal in this setting, because it can happen. This is the second red flag.

The final nail to the coffin, and the one I think everyone should consider whenever questioning WHY Neung broke this as cruel as she did, is that she thought she used Aneung as a way to distract her own pain.

In the book, and the reason why I re-read it, Neung sounds more detached, more out of the moment, and at some point even more aggressive about it. In the series, Neung, although also feeling out of the moment, the scene takes a more soft and romantic approach. They show us Neung's walls falling and accepting that she does indeed love Aneung.

Also, the "brake up" is harsher. Feels like a slap.

Now, we have to consider that in the book, right after their love making Aneung goes to school, everything seems fine, heavy, but good enough. Things happen, that I won't reveal because it could be spoilers, but one of those things is that Fah calls Neung about the funeral and everything. Fah is the one telling Neung that she trusts Neung, she's a role model, and she knows she will take care of Aneung.

Here, there is something I wanted to point out. To hear Fah say it, right after what happened it's what triggers Neung to break Aneung's heart. As logical as Neung is, that is the conclusion she gets after everything.

Aneung is young, thus can fall in love again with someone around her age. This is the conclusion Neung forms in her head. Plus, she sees something else that triggers a reaction. Something we will see in season 2 😆 so, no spoilers but maybe some of you can imagine what.

Neung is very logical, very cutthroat, and as stubborn as their grandmother. We have to remember that, as the eldest, she was trained to be the next heir. So, her life was very, very different. If you see any royal family, the image they project is one of perfection. So, it's no wonder that Neung learnt how to mask her feelings. If something hurts, hurt it back a thousand times worse. Or better yet, just ignore it.

Neung, just like Sam after she became the heir, prefers avoid her feelings because she knows caring equals pain. So, why bother?

There's a whole process Neung does before she goes to Aneung, in the book.

But I have to admit that the series spin was chef kiss! I'm sure that Neung, after waking up, was blaming herself for letting things escalate so quickly.

I will defend Neung with my whole heart because the traumas she carries makes her scared. And like a feral animal, the only way she knows how to defend herself is attacking. She pushes and pushes until she proves to herself that she is right. Everyone leaves.

I could continue rambling and going and just word spit things, but I have to sleep 🤣🤣🤣

How they cuddle

Characters- Bam, Aguero, Hatz, Anak, Endorsi, Lero ro, Quant, Hansung Yu, Evankhell

Type - fluff

Bam-

When cuddling with Bam it depends which season we're talking about. So...

Season 1- He likes to be a little spoon. While you're cuddling like this he'd cling to the arms you have wrapped around his waist, and might even try to hold your hand, But when he feels needy he lays on his stomach off to your side and puts his head on your shoulder and lifts his leg onto your side. He'll want you to wrap the arm he's laying on around his shoulder/upper back and rest your other hand on his hip. If you're not wearing a shirt his hands are openly pressed against your chest while he tucks his head under your chin and if you're not he's got your shirt bunched up in fists while he clings to you.

Season 2 - this poor baby has been touch starved so he wants to be caged in your warmth. He'll lay on top of you and tuck his head under your chin while pressing against you with all of his body weight. If he does fall asleep expect his hair to get in your face somehow. He secretly hopes you'll offer to brush it when you two wake up.

season 3- very protective positions, like holding you where your face is pressed to his chest with a tight hold around your waist. sometimes when he's tired he'll lay his head on your lap after taking down his hair and fall asleep like that.

Khun- He has the same protective position as season 3 bam, but other times he'll want it to be completely even you holding onto each other. Very rarely will he let you have the upper hand with cuddling, but when you've begged him enough he'll let you be the big spoon.

Hatz- If you can convince him to cuddle with you instead of splitting the bed evenly it's all you. He'll lay on his back while you're hugging him and have your leg propped up on him, but if you're lucky he might hold your hand while you sleep.

Anak- She wraps her tail around you every time, but besides that, she'll let you take the lead.

Endorsi- spooning. she doesn't care if she's the big spoon or the little spoon, just as long as nothings touching her face.

Lero ro- He has his face pressed up against your chest every time and has a tight grip on your waist. He falls asleep so quickly if you pet his hair while you're cuddling. He's also one to fall asleep on your lap, but you still have to play with his hair.

Quant- The strangest of positions. He's too hyperactive to actually lie down and stay still. Definitely drools on you every single night

Hansung Yu- This guy!!! I love him! But back to the point. He'll lie down on top of you and rest his head on your shoulder as you two talk about each other's day. Don't worry he's very light and makes sure to keep his hair out of your face, but might drool the tiniest bit every now and then.

Evankhell- She crushes you. Deep sleeper. You die. The end. In all reality though, she likes to think that she's light, but all that muscle is heavy. You have to lay on your side, if you lay on your back and her arm is anywhere on your stomach... well, have fun breathing

Summary: Bam and Khun argue over getting yet another pet.

Khun scrubbed the plate in his hands with a little more fervor than necessary. The reason stood next to him, phone in hand, a photo of a brown fluffy puppy on display.

“The shelter is overcrowded–”

“No.”

“But he’s already house-trained–”

“I said no.”

“How about we foster him then–”

“Bam.” Sharp blue eyes turned to look at the pouting man with big, glimmering eyes. Khun took a deep breath to steel his resolve. “We don’t have space nor time to take care of a dog.”

Bam stared at his phone for a moment before shoving it into his pocket. “Okay…”

Khun let out a sigh and went back to scrubbing. “I’m sorry, really, but puppies are a handful and we’ve already got enough on our plate. It wouldn’t be fair for him.”

“I understand.” Bam leaned against the counter for a moment before the corner of his mouth twitched up and he pulled his phone out again. “Take a look at this.”

He scrolled through a few pages on his phone before holding it up. Khun looked over and snorted. “Cute.”

Bam turned his phone back and nonchalantly scrolled down. “His name is Snowball, a white Angora. He’s the pet of the month.”

Khun let out a huff as he rinsed off a cup. “Then I’m sure he’ll find a home soon.”

Bam stopped scrolling and frowned. “He’s deaf, though. It’ll be hard for him to find a home.”

“Deaf cats adapt well. I’m sure someone will take him in.”

Bam let out a sad sigh and Khun rolled his eyes. “Are you not happy with the pets you already have?”

Bam shook his head. “That’s not it. I love them all very much, but I still want to help other animals whenever I can.”

Khun put the last fork in the drying rack and grabbed a towel to dry his hands. “Well…” He cleared his throat. “Cats are pretty independent…”

Immediately, Bam’s expression changed to a beaming smile. “They are! And they’re low maintenance. They just need some bowls, a litter box, some scratching posts, a fluffy bed, a few toys–”

Khun raised a finger to Bam’s lips, giving him an amused grin. “We can visit the shelter tomorrow. If he’s still there, I’ll consider it.”

Bam grabbed Khun’s hand and pressed it to his cheek. “Once he sits on your lap and purrs, you’ll fall in love with him.”

Khun smiled lovingly as he stroked Bam’s cheek with his thumb. “Better hope I don’t end up loving him more than you, then.”

Bam pouted with a grunt, but smiled when Khun leaned in for a kiss.

“Magic is all about how well you can communicate your intentions”

This is the basis for magic. What Khun left out (because he doesn’t understand this part), is that one’s emotions play a huge part in how well you can perform magic (more than whether you know the temperature your fire has to be - that’s just the way it works for him, as he explained).

Bam, unlike Khun, is a lot more emotional (or at least, more willing to show said emotions), which is why magic comes easier for him (that, and some other stuff that’ll be revealed later).

Even if the necklace didn’t “magically” help Bam make a fire, it is an object that emotionally connects Bam to Goseng. When he thinks of ‘fire’, he thinks of his mom and all the warmth he received under her care.

That, and having felt a warm fire all helped.

(One last note: Khun is a human who has learned an art that monsters are inherently better at, so he probably isn’t the best magic teacher. Thus, you get missing/flawed teachings like this.)

not to get all analytical and stuff, but bam and endorsi shouldn't end up together- not because of bam, or khun, or whoever else you ship with him - but because of ENDORSI.

characters in tog are quite commonly either parallels or foils to the main cast - wangnan wants the role bam was forced into, hatz is the complete opposite of khun, and khun, bam, rachel and endorsi are... well. the general story of bam, khun, and rachel is "person is abused by their family, forms an unhealthy relationship with the first person they recieve genuine affection from, leaves and finds someone else". there are so many parallels between the three of them, its hard to analize their characters without delving into the other's. endorsi... well, shes got everything but the last step. her story ended on the first floor, and shes been begging bam not to leave her for whoever she thinks hes interested in. she has a team of her own - she has aanak - but bam was the first. bam was the first to offer her friendship, the first to show her genuine care, the first person she ever connected with. she didnt have a rachel or a maria or a bam, she only had her abusive family and... bam.

and bam doesn't care about her as much as she cares about him. which is perfectly fine! he doesnt owe her a return of her feelings. but to him, she isnt even *the* friend. he objectively cares about khun and rak more, to the point where its a running gag that he wont even realise shes talking to him if hes already talking to khun. he doesnt become as vulnerable or as trusting as he is with khun when around her. he doesnt revert to the sweet, happy persom he truly is when hes with her, like he does when hes with khun. he cares about her, a lot! but in the same way that he cares about team shibisu or sweet and sour. shes had to fight her entire life to be seen as worthy, shes had to be the strongest and the prettiest or she wouldnt be worth FEEDING. there is no way in hell being in a relationship with a person who shes never going to be the priority for is healthy for her.

she cares about him, a lot, and it goes both ways. but sometimes your loved ones, in any sense of the word, arent the destination, but the bridge. and she deserves someone who she is the number one to, no matter what

#i dont mean this in the context of any romantic feelings between any of the characters aside from her feelings for bam #this works no matter what you ship imo #but in general she just deserves better. she deserves more #tower of god #also i do imply that khun is the number one for bam when its arguably rachel for a long while but thast got more to do with unprocessed trau #ma and whhen it comes down to it and she harms khun. he chooses khun. over rachel.

Since the new chapters are officially being posted now, I can finally actually talk about them, so to start with: Gustang's Censorship War!

We're given a bit of Traumerei talking with the King first, and they are so shy about showing his face now (weirdly enough, if you think about it, Zahard only inserted a portion of his power into the Hidden Floor--he still hasn't physically gone anywhere or done anything).

Despite putting out a potential kill order on the Poe Bidau family, the King still wants to avoid open conflict with them and Traumerei agrees to contract for him instead. The other families are mentioned as being "too powerful" to get involved so he might be trying to reduce chaos from the war? Maybe?

Then Traumerie says that he wants to "test" Bam to see if he has the potential to "become one of them." Which is like...

He might be referring to the position of Family Head, but the framing doesn't make it seem that way. It could have something to do with whatever 'changed' the warriors in the past, or their mysterious contract with the Administrators. Either way, there's definitely something there that we don't have context for.

Although I do kinda think that Traumerie's plan might bite him in the ass in the end because Zahard straight up did not tell him that he knows who Bam is and tried to murder him. Like, that's a pretty big thing to keep your friend out of the loop of.

(There's still that popular headcanon of "Traumerei had some personal issues with Arlene" that Zahard could be avoiding...)

Then we move back over to Khun's perspective and we get to hang out with Hwaryun for a bit (as usual exercising her "fuck the rules" abilities), before getting yonked out of the prison by Rachel and the creep. We do get some brief commentary on the war, like how most people in the Tower have never seen war before, so ofc its scary. (There aren't many who have? Flashback to Jinsung telling Maschenny how she has no idea what she's getting into with the warmonger behavior.)

And then we get to the real issue: censorship!

Specifically, Khun gets entrapped into reading (or attempting to) a banned book for a live audience! And its juicy too

Not for nothin, but I believe this book may in fact be talking about the Red-Light District. That place was actually mentioned to have been burned to the ground and was not public knowledge, which reeks of a cover-up. The fact that a banned book is talking about the Prince makes since that information about the place is in there (and maybe what about it was so bad that it needed to be destroyed). But we're not allowed to see the text; Khun gets big mad cause he thinks its bullshit before cops burst in to arrest everybody.

Khun ends up back in prison and treated to some classic frame-job nonsense which was clearly the plan from the beginning. Skip to his conversation with Rachel lording everything over his head and performing some class gaslighting bs when Khun questions her about the book's legitimacy.

She says its bullshit too, but we know she's a fuking liar! we had a whole chapter of her psychologically tormenting one poor guy over it!

She is trying so hard to pretend that she didn't play mindscrew games with Wangnan, but I remember. Who knows when those crimes will come to light, but they have to eventually.

Then she asks where Bam is, which is like: "lol why do you care, you don't even want to see the guy." Is she afraid that he's going to burst in heroically to ruin her fun or something?

And this finishes off with an announcement of Gustang's public reading, wherein he will declare war, which we all knew was coming.

Do you think there's something between Khun and Baam?

I definitely see some chemistry and possible sexual tension 🤔 I definitely think there's more to their relationship.

I've read loads of comments recently about how their relationship is toxic. That Khun isn't there for him emotionally and doesn't really care about him. I don't think that at all.

I also find it weird that they focus so much on Khun and his feelings/actions towards Baam when Baam acts similarly to him! He even hugged him after reuniting at some point I'm sure!

#19.1 Anticipation

Grace opened the door to their dorm, and wasn't surprised to find that the room was dark. "Agni?"

Velt swam past him and whistled along, as if she was also calling for her master.

"Coming," Agni called from the mezzanine floor and Grace felt his presence descending the stairs.

"I'm going to turn on the lights, ok?" Grace warned before clicking on the lights. Colors returned and painted the familiar figure on the staircase.

Agni’s right hand was gripping a walking cane that Grace hadn't seen in years. It was back when Agni was severely burned that they also discovered damage to his left knee. Agni never told him exactly what happened, but the doctor that tended to him said that it had broken so many times that it would likely never heal completely.

The recovery took weeks, but Agni was able to walk normally again. He avoided frontline fights from then on, but if there was no choice, he was careful with his moves. Someone must've caught him off guard to be able to land a hit there. Could it be that this was the cause of his bad mood?

"Hey," Agni greeted Velt as she swam beside him. He patted her once before resuming his steps, making his way to Grace. "Welcome back."

"What happened?" Grace asked. He brought his hand to caress Agni's hair, undoing the clip and slipping his mask off his face.

To Grace's surprise, Agni smiled fondly. "Mini-me figured out my weak points."

"Well…" That probably wasn't it, then. It looked like he had a good time with them, especially with Khun's progress. "As expected from you."

Agni chuckled and took control of Grace's lighthouse. "Yeah. Kind of proud, perhaps."

"Glad to know you both get along."

"As good as currently possible. It's still a work in progress."

Grace gave Agni's mask back and trailed after him to the living room along with Velt. He resisted the urge to hold Agni's arm to support him, knowing that Agni hated being coddled when he was clearly capable by himself.

"I healed the worst of it. I just need to rest it a little." Agni assured, reading Grace's worry easily. "It should be good tomorrow."

Grace felt a little comforted after hearing that, knowing that it wasn't as serious as he had feared. Although he could still feel some uneasiness radiating from Agni.

"How's your day?" Agni asked, as Grace set the food and drinks down on the coffee table.

"Master called me after our call ended. After some explaining and persuading, he left me to practice together with Bam. I'm currently trying to teach him how to use reverse flow control for a wider range." Although it was a bit hard when Bam didn't have his emotions under control, so they were quick to call it a day and just sat together until Bam's curfew.

Agni hummed thoughtfully, "That gives me an idea for our next mock battle. I’ll think about it first."

"Cool." Grace joined Agni to sit on the floor, side by side. "How about you? It seems like you have something on your mind."

"Yeah, it's…" Agni avoided his gaze by staring ahead, "...not really about today's spar."

Grace raised his eyebrow. "Is everything okay?"

"I will tell you after dinner, alright? Go take a bath first. I've prepared your clothes in the bathroom."

Grace obediently got up when Agni nudged him away, though he gave Agni one last glance before turning around the corner and locking the bathroom door. He went on autopilot as his thoughts spiraled. Nothing major should be happening to the team right now, but what else could be the cause of this unease? It feels as if…someone they know had just died.

- Listen, we all know how Bam is. He would never hurt his friends, much less his s/o, on purpose

- So when Bam accidentally knocked you unconscious out on a mission, he was a mess

- Bam rushed to your side, blowing holes through anyone who stood in his way and pulled you into his arms, immediately checking for your pulse and thanking the gods when he found it

- If Bam wasn't needed, then you better bet he rushed you to the ship where you were tended to

- The injuries weren't bad - in fact, you had took the hit quite well, considering it was a blast of shinsu

- But despite the injuries being minor, Bam refused to step into the room you were in, fearful that he may hurt you again

- That was his worst fear come to life - hurting you. The poor boy believed he was a monster already, how do you think he felt now? He felt like a beast, undeserving of you

- When you woke up, Bam was the first person you asked for. You knew that Bam would be blaming himself, so you immediately sought him out

- Bam was ecstatic to see you awake, however kept his distance. When you tried to approach him, Bam would shake his head and tell you to keep your distance, that it was safer for you

- Yeah, that wasn't happening. When Bam was willing to let you approach, you didn't waste a second and wrapped your arms around him

- Bam was tense at first, handling you as if you were porcelain that would break at the smallest of touches. Until, he finally broke

- Bam cried his heart out in your arms while you shushed him, running your hand through his hair while he asked if you were okay

- It took many assuring words, kisses and hugs before Bam finally accepted that it wasn't his fault. But he wasn't done yet, a large order of cuddles were very much needed

- Let's just say, that was the last time Bam got reckless with you on the battlefield

♛ Khun Aguero Agnis ♛

- Khun is careful when out on the battlefield. He's not stupid, he'd rather not get himself killed

- However, when in training, he has the tendency to get a bit reckless

- You've had to put a few bandages on before because of his recklessness, but he's never went overboard

- Unless he was frustrated

- Your boyfriend had a rather bad day today, so what better way to blow off some steam then to train?

- Well, it wasn't a good idea this time. Khun was quite aggressive with his attacks - so much so that you could hardly keep up with the lightbearer

- When you didn't get back up after a hit, Khun thought you were bluffing for a moment, telling you that he wasn't falling for it

- When he turned you over and saw that you were not only unconscious, but had blood rolling down your forehead, he felt panic course through his veins and he had never moved so fast in his life when he rushed you to the infirmary of the ship

- Khun patched you up in no time at all, however this did not clear him of any guilt

- He had taken his anger out on you, of course he felt ashamed! So you woke up to Khun trying to do everything in his power to make it up to you

- It started with a hug and a gentle kiss to the bandage covered wound as he apologized profusely, swearing that he would do any and everything to make it up to you. You could even hear the waver in his voice as he spoke, almost as if he were about to cry

- So, being the little shit you are, you played around with him in an attempt to make him feel better, "I don't know Aguero, you may have to buy me an awful lot of things to make it up to me."

- He knew you weren't mad right then and there

- You then receive a light smack on the back of the head and a sweet kiss on the lips from your boyfriend

- From then on, he never took his anger out on you while in training

⚔ Hatz ⚔

- Hatz is a skilled sword fighter. Diligent and graceful, yet careful when others are around. So you never expected the day to come that Hatz run you through with his sword

- Of course, it was accidental. White had provoked Hatz into a training session that quickly turned into a sword fight thanks to White

- You knew that your boyfriend was strong, but you had no trust for White. You feared that the male would hurt your boyfriend, so without a second thought, you rushed towards the two

- You remembered that it wasn't the wisest idea to stand between two angry swordsman the second you felt a sharp pain in your shoulder - and to your surprise, it was your boyfriend who had stabbed you

- All the anger left Hatz in that instance and it was replaced by panic when he saw his blade sticking out of the other side of your shoulder

- White mocked Hatz, calling him an arrogant swordsman who couldn't control his anger, to which Hatz did not deny

- After being patched up, Hatz tried to apologize, but you were a little angry with Hatz for even letting White provoke him to begin with

- Shame on you, Y/n. Hatz really thought you were going to leave him

- When you saw the utter heartbreak in his eyes, any anger evaporated and you pulled him down onto the bed you two shared when he tried to walk away and locked him in your arms

- "You're not mad?" "No. But White is gonna get a piece of my mind tomorrow. I'm going to turn him into a human pretzel -"

- You gave White an earful the next day - YOU EVEN TRIED TO THROW HANDS WITH HIM

- Hatz and White don't have sword fights around you anymore

➹ Wangnan Ja ➹

- Wangnan uses shinsu balls to fight, so it's a little hard to control where the blast happens

- And you just so happened to have been caught in one of those blasts once

- You find it comical the way it happened, however Wangnan does not. In fact, he still beats himself up for it

- You had been caught in one of the blasts of his shinsu balls once. You were in battle, fighting off opponents with a bit of struggle

- When you heard someone yell duck. Well, thinking that thay were talking about a literal duck, you turned around to ask your boyfriend what the hell these people were talking about when you saw one of his shinsu balls roll in front of you, bumping your foot

- You cursed and the damn thing suddenly went off before you could move out of the way

- Wangnan was by your side in seconds, panicking when he saw all the blood that covered your body. You were alive, but quite injured

- Wangnan didn't mean for the bomb to land so close to you, but it had ended up traveling further then he meant for it when he had tossed it

- Wangnan rushed you straight to Khun, abandoning the fight all together. He was only worried about you in this given moment

- It took days for you to recover and Wangnan felt so horrible the entire time, that familiar feeling of being a walking curse hanging over his head. He cried, he barely slept and he looked terrible when you finally woke up

- You bet that Wangnan was latching onto you, crying and apologizing for what had happened to you, saying that it was his fault. It broke your heart to see your boyfriend in such a state

- You weren't mad, not at all. So you held him close while he cried into your shoulder, eventually making him settle down next to you in the bed where you comforted him with cuddles and reassuring words

- If you so much as complain about a small ache, Wangnan apologized for it in belief that it was his fault

- It took a while, but you finally convinced him that any minor aches or pains were none of his doing, however it would take a lot to convince him he wasn't a curse

- Wangnan still blames himself for that incident, but you always manage to make him laugh when you joke about the memory, making his heart a little less heavy

- Still, he doesn't use shinsu balls around you anymore

When it's that time of the month

Type-fluff

Just so you know I kind of think that they wouldn't have the same menstrual cycle that we do. I don't know what they would have, but I just think it would be different.

Tries their very best to understand what's happening, but that doesn't work out very well. They will get you pads/tampons but they will be the wrong size or the wrong brand. So don't be surprised if you ask for pads and they bring back liners instead (poor thing will think they actually got you the right thing). If they find out it wasn't what you wanted they will feel horrible. Offers to get you food instead.

Bam, Hatz, Quant, Hockney, Doom

Asks for very specific details, might even take a picture of what you have left to make sure they get the right thing. Cuddles. Acts like they don't care about what you're going through

Anak, Yasratcha, Yama, Eduan

Goes to the store for everything you need and doesn't mess anything up. they are incredibly embarrassed while they get it though. They'll cook for you and give you as many cuddles and massages though.

Lero ro, karaka, Rak, Rachel

What's there to be embarrassed about? It's normal for you right? okay then. They'll wash the bloody sheets and (try) cook for you.

Hansung Yu, Elaine, Hoe/Ho, Angel, Hwaryun, Yuri, Khun, Endorsi, Evankhell, Arie Hon

Not embarrassed about you or your needs one bit. Will show no shame in getting your products, even if the store is packed.

Summary: Some KhunBam Hurt/Comfort for those that enjoy heart palpitations and chest pain. ♥

Khun carefully tightened the thick cloth around Bam's hand and set the knot on the inside of his wrist. He had done a good job cleaning the grime and blood off, but there was still some stuck under Bam's fingernails.

He made a mental note to help him clean it before bed later.

"You need to be more careful," chastised Khun, but it held no bite, only warmth that was conveyed further when he bowed his head and placed a light kiss on the bandage that covered the back of Bam's hand.

A finger brushed across Khun's cheek, wiping away a smudge of dirt. "Funny you should say that when you look worse than I do," quipped Bam.

Their laughter was soft, the weariness of the test seeping out of their bones as they drew a little closer to find comfort in each other.

"It's just superficial. I didn't fracture anything by punching a hole in my opponent. Seriously Bam." Khun swallowed, trying to soothe the growing knot in his throat. "You need to be careful about using your power."

Bam turned his hand over, grasping Khun's hand in his and squeezing. "He was going for you," he whispered, the worry thick in his voice.

"I can fight, Bam. I can defend myself—"

"I know. But..." Bam loosened his grip, but Khun's fingers tightened, not giving him a chance to let go. "I couldn't help it. I won't let my friends get hurt."

Khun sighed, letting his head hang for a moment. He felt the dust shake off himself when he moved, the debris from the explosion of Bam's impact probably matted to his hair. A shower was badly needed, but he could wait. He needed this more.

Khun bumped his fist against Bam's thigh. "You need to let that go. We will get hurt, but we will survive—just like you. We need you to trust us like we trust you."

Bam looked down at their hands laced together. "I know. I'll keep working on it, Khun. It's hard, but I understand."

Khun let go of his hand and stretched out his arms. "That's all I ask."

Bam smiled, his face glowing as he leaned forward to hug Khun tight.

"When did you two get so touchy? Yuck." Endorsi, who was leaning against the infirmary doorway, finally made her presence known.

An annoyed growl rumbled in Khun as his arms tightened around Bam.

"I'm surprised you two haven't been caught making out yet." She waved her hand nonchalantly, a grin spreading when she noticed Khun's ears starting to burn red.

Bam tapped on Khun's back and was released from the crushing grip. "No, not yet," teased Bam over his shoulder. When Khun choked on air, it took all his will power to keep himself from bursting out laughing.

Endorsi sneered, but quickly changed to a soft smile as she dropped the charade. "At least you're aware. Catch you two lovebirds later." She wiggled her fingers at them as she turned and sauntered away.

"Bam, stop giving her ideas," grumbled Khun. His whole face was as red as a tomato.

"What ideas? That we've ever kissed? We both know the answer to that."

Khun pouted, and he tried to hide it by letting his forehead land on Bam's shoulder. "We're just—"

"Friends," finished Bam sharply. "Right."

Khun took in a deep breath and let it out slowly. "How cruel would it be to indulge in something that was destined to end in tragedy?"

Bam closed his eyes and nuzzled into the side of Khun's head. "How cruel would it be to deny yourself such joy?

Khun's arms came up as he moved from his chair and sunk into Bam's lap, pressing himself into his arms as he held on tightly. "I don't want to let you go."

Bam hugged him back with as much desperation. "Then don't."

"I'll have to one day."

"I won't let it happen."

"It's not up to you, Bam."

"It is, though. It's my life and I'm going to live it how I want."

Khun let out a sigh and stayed quiet. His fingers circled a hole in Bam's shirt—another victim of his recklessness. Worry swirled in his guy, heavy and nauseating. But there was still a glimmer of something strong in the middle of it. "I hope... I hope you're right," he finally conceded.

Bam smiled against the crook of Khun's neck. Under the smell of smoke and earth, was home. It was where he wanted to be and where he would come back to, just like now.

"I am. I promise."

When Another Idol Fancies You ~ 2PM Reaction

Jun.K:

“Don’t leave my side again,” Minjun instructed closely into your ear as he walked past you, sliding his hand into yours, “people should mind their business.”

“What’s happened?” You questioned, not a surprising sound of frustration in Minjun’s voice, catching his eyes looking around the room carefully.

With a deep breath, he finally looked to you. “Minho was asking if we’d broken up because we weren’t stood together, why does something like that mean a breakup?”

“He was probably just trying to be nosey,” you tried to suggest, but Minjun’s head shook with his suspicions rising as to what was going on with the figure across the room.

“He was asking to make a move,” Minjun groaned, “I know that he fancies you.”

“That’s ridiculous, there’s others that I bet he fancies.”

Minjun’s head shook, picking up on the signs from Minho. “No one in this room is better looking than you, I can’t blame the guy.”

“He might fancy me, but that doesn’t mean that I’m going to go anywhere near him,” you assured Minjun, “trust try and ignore it.”

“You promise me that if he comes near you that you’ll come back to me.”

“I promise, but you’ve got nothing to fret over.”

Nichkhun:

“Why’s Nichkhun leaving you all alone?” BamBam enquired, coming up alongside you and throwing his arm over your shoulders, “that’s not fair of him.”

“He’s just going to be a moment,” you tried to tell BamBam, only to feel him pull you even closer towards him, “he’s not really left me alone like you think.”

BamBam’s head shook, offering you a confident smile. “I’m just saying, in a place like this with so many idols around you’ve really got to be careful about who you spend time with.”

Your heart settled as Nichkhun returned a few moments later, looking between the two of you. “I’m not interrupting anything, am I? You two look rather comfortable there.”

“Why are you smiling about this?” You challenged, “he’s acting strange Khun.”

“I know, he’s doing exactly what I asked him to do to you.”

Your eyes shot across to BamBam who was laughing to himself too, “why are you two pranking me like this? Bam I thought I could trust you.”

“I’m sorry,” he sniggered, holding his hands up innocently, “Khun told me to prank you into thinking that I fancied you, so I did.”

“You’re constantly pulling pranks on me, it’s about time that I got revenge.”

“I’m definitely going to get you back for this.”

Taecyeon:

“You know, there’s loads of other people that he could stare at, it doesn’t have to be you,” Taecyeon murmured through gritted teeth, “I should go over there.”

“Don’t do that,” you frowned, reaching across to take a hold of Taecyeon’s hand, “I’m sure soon enough he’ll get bored, just don’t give him any reaction.”

A sigh came from Taecyeon as he tried to keep composed, “Sungjae knows that we’re together any happy, so why is he trying to get under my skin like this, cause some drama?”

“Just let him stare, and let’s rub in the fact that you get to be with me, and he doesn’t,” you tried your best to suggest, “play him at his own game if you want to Taec.”

“That’s a good idea,” he mused, “it might finally make him look away from you.”

“I’m sure no one in this room wants to see you kiss me.”

Taecyeon’s shoulders shrugged as he leaned forwards and pressed a kiss to your forehead, “if he carries on staring, I’ll keep going.”

“Relax,” you grinned, resting your hands against his arms, “there’s a difference between fancying me and getting to be with me.”

“I’m never taking you for granted again knowing people like him are around.”

“I’ve never felt like you’ve done that anyway.”

Junho:

“Is Junho not supposed to be looking after you?” A surprising voice asked you as they came up alongside you, keeping you company.

“He’s gone to the toilet,” you responded, spinning around to notice Yoseob walking towards you, resting rather closely to where you were sat at the table.

You tried your best to ignore him until at last Junho came back across to you. “Everything alright?” He asked, noticing the look of panic that was on your face, “can we help?”

“Don’t worry,” you told Junho as Yoseob quickly left the two of you alone as he realised that Junho was there, “nothing happened whilst you were gone, I just ignored him.”

“But if I had been any longer,” Junho sighed, “he could have tried something.”

“You can’t think about things like that though Junho.”

His shoulders dropped as you squeezed his hand, “I knew that he fancied you, he’s a smart guy waiting until I wasn’t around.”

“It’s a good job that you came when you did,” you encouraged, “and I’m sure that he knows now not to try again too with you around.”

“I barely even got the chance to say anything before he scampered.”

“That was probably for the best knowing you.”

Wooyoung:

“Y/N’s beautiful, right?” Wooyoung spoke up, glancing across to Donghae as he noticed him staring in your direction across the busy room.

“I can’t say that I noticed,” Donghae dismissed, faltering as he spoke and quickly looking in any other direction but yours, “but you seem to think so.”

Wooyoung’s eyes rolled, seeing straight through Donghae, moving past him and straight across to you. “What’s wrong?” You asked, feeling Wooyoung grab you.

“Why do people feel like they can stare at other people’s partners,” he muttered to himself, “I knew Donghae was watching you, but he pretends like he’s innocent.”

“Was he innocent?” You asked, “although your face is telling me the answer.”

“It’s so obvious that he fancies you Y/N, it’s stupid.”

You smiled back at him, taking a hold of his hand, “he knows that you’re with me though, there’s no way that he would try anything.”

“You never know,” he murmured, glancing briefly across in Donghae’s direction, “it’s better to be safe at these sorts of events.”

“Does that mean that you’re not letting me out of your sight tonight?”

“Spot on, I’m not letting any guy near you.”

Chansung:

“Is this seat taken?” A voice asked, placing their hand on the back of the chair beside you before either you or Chansung had managed to answer.

“It is,” Chansung bluntly replied as he looked up to see Yunho trying to sit down beside you, “haven’t you got other people that you can sit with?”

As Yunho quickly excused himself, your wide eyes looked back to Chansung with a chuckle. “I have never seen you be that serious around anyone, what was that all about?”

“I’ve heard rumours that he fancies you, there was no way that I was going to let him sit there,” Chansung sighed with a shake of his head, “he can try, but he won’t succeed.”

“He could have just wanted to sit,” you argued, “and say hi to us both.”

“No way, he had that look in his eyes of love Y/N.”

Your eyes rolled at how serious Chansung was, “there’s no way that that’s possible, he was probably just being friendly, that’s it.”

“Stop pretending as if someone can’t fancy you,” Chansung warned, “you could do a whole lot better than Yunho anyway.”

“Isn’t that something that I should get to decide rather than you?”

“Just trust me for once, I’m your best friend remember.”
