All the actors I’ve drawn for the US touring cast! In order: Elana Valastro as Rumpleteazer with Brian Nelson as Mungojerrie Kelliann DeCarlo as Grizabella Chelsea N. Mitchell as Bombalurina Michelle E. Carter as Jennyanydots Brian Nelson (again) as Mungojerrie (he’s my favorite okay don’t look at me, do you understand the restraint I’m putting on myself to NOT draw him again???) Devon McCleskey as Munkustrap Aiden Pressel as Plato If anyone wants to see more of my art of the actors, I’m still drawing them and plan on drawing all of them! If you want to see a particular actor, send them in! (And if they’re a swing, send in the actor and one of the characters they’ve played)
These four (Kelliann, Carolyn, José, and Tony) help carry the show when performers are out of breath, or when dancing gets in the way of their singing. They add ambience to Old Deuteronomy! They elevate Journey to the Heaviside Layer! They are constantly singing through the entire show! Every one of them is also a Swing!
We need some more recognition and respect for these hard working cast members!
After a couple of weeks' absence, Michelle Carter is back onstage as Jenny in the 2021 US tour!
Grizabella (Tayler Harris) and Deuteronomy (Indalecio de Jesus Valentin) are so happy to see her that they're inspired to do some tapping too.

With Tayler Harris as Grizabella, Elana Valastro as Rumpelteazer, Brianna Kim as Sillabub, Lauren Louis as Demeter, and Kayli Jamison as Jellylorum; plus, out of costume, swings Carolyn Bacon, Kelliann de Carlo, Megan Arseneau, and Gracie Anderson. Photos from Michelle's insta (X).
Brian Craig Nelson as Mungojerrie, Carolyn Bacon as Babygriz (left), Connor Orion Bermingham as Plato, Elana Valastro as Sillabub, Gracie Anderson as Tantomile, José Raúl Mangual as Chrous Tugger, Kelliann DeCarlo as Babygriz (right), Kieran Macdonald as Tumblebrutus, Megan Arseneau as Jennyanydots, Tony Mowatt as Gus.
Several of the US tour cast seem to be off or quarantined at the moment, so they're learning the art of split tracks. Kelliann DeCarlo, who's been covering Grizabella for a few days:
"Unbelievably proud of this company today [8 January]. Two split tracks, two internal cover debuts, handling it famously." Tagging Sean McManus (first-cast Tumble), John Anker Bow (usually Gustopher, but also Deut cover), and Kieran Macdonald (swing, covering Tumble, Pounce, Alonzo, and Mistoffelees).
We know Tony Mowatt was on as Deut recently so presumably Indalecio de Jesus Valentin (first-cast Deut) is still off, and was this time covered by John Anker Bow. Kieran perhaps did a Tumble/Pounce split track, because Sean...
... got his Skimble cover debut! With an hour's notice. 😬
(Babyshanks!) With his old friend Vinny Andaloro still going strong as Alonzo; and above, with Max Craven as Mungojerrie.
EDIT: we now have a list of exactly what the covers and split tracks were, courtesy of Max Craven. Yes, Kieran was Pounce/Tumble - and of all things can it be really John did a split track as Deut/Gustopher!
