this hair was requested over at @witchingreblogs. the hair and the ombre accessory have both been recolored in the 35 colors of the witching hour palette (18 defaults & 17 extras). the ombre accessory can be found under left brow rings.

🌹 you need the mesh from @rigel-sims.

🌹 if you want to declutter your CAS and remove the original color swatches so this can work as a true default set of colors, follow this tutorial.

🌹 thanks as always to the original mesh author and to pyxis for the palette!

I bet you guys had lost any hope that I’d upload this, eh? :D Well, the wait is over! :D The Generation Wild hair is now available for TS4, too :D

For both males & females, teen to elder;

Comes in 18 Pooklet colors (I wanted to do a streaked version too, but… eh, another time D: );

Hat compatible. Not perfect, but still better than nothing;

Fixed for Intel cards;

Credit goes to Newsea for the original hair mesh and Pooklet for the textures/colors. 

Known issues:

Laptop mode must be off in order for the hair to show up correctly in game;

It does not reflect on water, meaning that if your sim is wearing this hair and goes to the pool, their reflection on water will look bald; 

Slightly crappy bone assignments: the hair distorts a bit on the back when the sim looks up, as shown in the last pic;

It’s a little shiny D: unfortunately, I could get either that or super weird shadows. I thought having it a bit shiny under the sunlight was better than having horrible shadows;

As usual, if you find more issues, drop me an ask and let me know! Please keep in mind that I’ll need your feedback to fix further issues, so try to be as clear as possible when reporting your issues (give me infos on your OS, video card, other mods installed) and do NOT disappear after the first message, as I will need you to test the fixed files! So..after 100 years of trying to figure out sims 4 meshing..I did it! I have my first ever mesh for sims 4! I’m so proud of myself! I hope you all enjoy it too!
