Have you ever just one day gone back to an old show and be like *Hold up*. Because I'm just here thinking about kaze no stigma and remembering that the two main love interest are suppose to be related. That was like the who point in the beginning. I know families in shows like to keep it in the family but come on now. You didn't need to do that It would have been great if they were just rivals. No romance was needed. Maybe therapy but no romance.

Kaze no Stigma

Local family of fire wizards abuse, neglect, and then eventually disown MC for being bad at fire magic and are then flabbergasted when he comes back years later as a wind magic user. They spend the rest of the series hating MC for various reasons, paying him to solve all their problems, and trying to shove him into a relationship with his highschool age cousin.

360 Day Challenge- Day 13 - Misao Ogami

35 Min. Kaze no Stigma was the first Anime I ever watched in its entirety in 2014 (I watched deathnote at the same time but still haven’t finished it.) I haven’t watched it since so I was only reminded of this character through an AMV. Now, I love taking great fashion and making it work for interesting poses. That didn’t work here. Misao’s dress made no sense and definitely shouldnt have been in an action series. It seems they only drew it from one angle in the show cause it makes no sense. I gotta try some stylistic fire tho, so not a complete disappointment.

As I mentioned in the intro post, I watched at least some of Full Metal Panic in college. My friend Meg had a ton of anime she was always showing to us--some I loved (The Twelve Kingdoms), some I despised (Kaze no Stigma) and some I thought were really fun (this one, to my memory). I remember that it has mechs, that protag Sousuke is a child soldier who therefore takes high school way too seriously, and the female lead Chidori was always sick of his shenanigans and hitting him with a paper fan. That's basically it!

Man, it came out in 2005 but the OP and the artstyle have such huge 90's anime vibes. I dig it.
