Thank you for your patience. I had a mini anxiety attack tonight because of things just. Not being right at home at all and it’s stressing me out big time. I know I’m already slow as molasses, but I think I’m going to be even slower for the time being until things just... get back to semi-normal.

that hardware store is really funny bc the owner let some local group (school?) sell baked goods at the front counter once. like, they dropped off some clamshell containers of cookies and 2 loaves of banana bread. and it worked pretty well! couple of years later and they’ve got an entire folding table half-blocking the register counter now. all sorts of fudges and things. you can get a handful of machine screws, a hatchet, and a box of cookies all in one store trip.

wrappers & packaging

receipts

used scraps of paper. notes, shopping lists, etc

magazines, newspapers, etc

tags, labels, stickers that one might otherwise consider garbage

old shitty coloring books

used tissue paper

books that are badly damaged & would otherwise be thrown out

something i tend to save rather than use but would also be good: cards, letters, notes

sometimes when i join my mom on her trips to joanns i find interesting things in clearance or in the little stationary section
