the manager's grandkid had a lemonade stand set up the past couple days. kid's selling them for 2 dollars a pop. we were chatting about it up in the office.

me: 'people love it! when I was a kid and we had a lemonade stand, it was a quarter!' florist: 'a hundred and forty-six years ago, Elle.' me: 'yeah but STILL.' florist: 'inflation. gets to everything. u_u ' me: 'I guess so. u_u '

had a customer yesterday like. Angry that we didn't have all the tomatoes ready and available yet. I couldn't snap back at him that there was literally frost on the ground outside bc it got down to 28*F last night, but uhh. hey. man. if you wanna plant tomatoes every week just to watch them die so you can buy them from me again, you go RIGHT AHEAD.
