why did no one tell me that Van Der Graaf Generator sound just like Julian Jay Savarin, this shit is fire [is fully aware that this is a ridiculous sentiment because the former artist is like 100000x better known than the latter and it's absurd that I'd never listened them til now]

me: man, the time-travel themes in parts of this well-known and critcally acclaimed album Divers by Joanna Newsom are really reminding me of another album about time travel. I'm gonna follow it up with the unbelievably obscure album Waiters On The Dance by novelist Julian Jay Savarin
#they actually make a great pair I think I just find it very very funny how I went from one of the most to least well known albums#divers has multi paragraph annotations on every line on genius.com and I had to add the lyrics of waiters on the dance to genius myself#draco speaks#also first time listening to full on psychedelic rock on these headphones and it is fantastic

This is why the font on your cover needs to be readable. Is the name of the book Lemmy, Emmv, or what? It's actually Lemmus III: The Archives of Haven, the third part of His Lemmus: A Time Trilogy.
Julian Jay Savarin was the organist and main songwriter of prog rock band Julian's Treatment, which released two albums in the early 1970s before Savarin left to become an SF and thriller novelist. The Science Fiction Encycolopedia describes his trilogy as "an expansive Space Opera in which GOD (the Galactic Organization and Dominions), run by a Forerunner civilization, experimentally settles Terra with people who will evolve in isolation."
