So listen, I did a thing again and I’m not saying it was a GOOD thing but uh I finally bought Dragon Age Inquisition on PC cause yay mods and well this happened! Even with the settings up on ultra and stuff, screenies are so bad. I forgot for a second this game wasn’t GreedFall (in terms of age I mean obviously I know it’s not the same game). Random headcanon: The Inquisitor’s party isn’t actually able to bring their weapons and armor with them to Halamshiral (because seriously?). They do, however, carry simple “ornamental” swords that aren’t actually ornamental as part of their ball attire, which basically results in the warriors taking even more of the lead than usual when combat happens while the rogues and mages have to get creative.

Adahlenn Lavellan is totally fine. Sure the sword is a bit smaller and dinkier than what she’s used to, but it’s still a sword. It cuts things. The bigger issue for her is trying to keep blood off of her clothes: she wears layers just to be safe, and if Lady Lavellan’s outfit gradually changes and gets lighter over the course of the evening, well, that’s just how new fashion crazes start in Orlais.

Lorenn Lavellan trains for swordplay beforehand so that he’s at least not entirely incompetent. He rarely ever draws it though and ends up spending most of his time stealthing down corridors and throwing the knives that he smuggled into every tiny space of his outfit. Josephine has no idea how he managed to get quite that many pockets into his jacket.

Julian Trevelyan gapes at Josie when she tells him this plan, and then goes to Dagna for assistance. She supplies him with a number of runestones with various properties that will easily make up for any lack of decent casting ability without a staff. They work almost too well, and he very nearly burns down a portion of the palace with a well aimed fire rune.

How did you get into Dragon Age?

Well,it was back in 2017, my ex-boyfriend had Dragon Age Inquisition for the PS4 and I started playing it while he was at work. I really liked it,as far as I could play. So of course I wanted to play the other games too.

Lucky me, my brother had all games on his laptop so I could play them 😁

Inquisitor’s feelings on being the Herald of Andraste?

Maxwell Trevelyan: My parents would be so proud of me once in their life. But that aside, while I believe in the Maker it just ... doesn't sit right in me.

I was lucky I survived and suddenly I am a symbol for hope. It just puts a lot of pressure on you, you know? I definitely never asked for this.

I just hope I do the right thing.

Cassiopeia Lavellan: To be frank, I don't like it. I am the Herald of a figure of a religion I don't belong to. However, I feel like publicly speaking against it would somehow be spun into hate against elves.

Athena Adaar: I am honestly surprised people truly calling a Qunari that. Well, a Tal-Vashoth, not that most of these people know the difference.

Other than that? I couldn't care less. I just want to get the job done and if the title helps? Great.

Lambert Trevelyan: Some merchants give me discount because if it, reason enough to like it.

It only gets annoying when people try to have a discussion about religious bullshit with me.

Jules Trevelyan: The title comes with a lot of responsibility I never asked for. But saying I don't want it now, won't change anything. So I just do my thing, try to help as best as I can and try not think too much about the pressure people put on me,the hope they have in me.

Fluffiest headcanon ever?

Probably not the fluffiest but the best I can come up with at the moment:

The Inquisitor gets to know Cullen's birthday from Leliana and immediately starts to plan a party. They know it has to be a surprise because if asking Cullen surley would say work is more important than his birthday.

Josephine and Dorian take care to get the best wine and some nice food. Sera tries a new cookie recipe

The Chargers come up with a song.

Varric manages to invite Cullen's family and getting Hawke to escort them to Skyhold.

Solas helps Cole come up with a gift that is actually realisable.

Cassandra and Blackwall get him some new sword and shield.

Vivienne orders some new clothes from her tailor (getting the measurements from Josephine)

Somehow they really managed to keep it under wraps and successfully surprise their Commander on his birthday. He even actually relaxes on the party, forgetting his work for a bit as he smiles with his friends and family.

o Remi e a Sol também, eles são “colegamigos”, ele insiste que eles são super amigos e ela sempre “a gente trabalha junto” (mas no fundo ela gosta dele. bem no fundo -q). ele enche o saco dela quando eles estão trabalhando , ela enche o saco dele em qualquer outro momento e a vida segue lmao

o Remi e o Jules também tem uma amizade. interessante (-q). considerando que eu tenho uma pasta inteira pro group chat deles só falando merda (falando do achlys -q), eles são bem próximos mesmo que quase não se vejam. se o Remi se mete em merdas que tecnicamente não são relacionadas ao trabalho ele vai na “oficina” do Jules ao invés de no médico dele.

tirando isso eu não tenho nada muito definido mas o Remi e o Cecil provavelmente se conhecem lmao considerando que eles 2 trabalham pra Medusa. o Remi acha o Cecil fofo (e quem não????) e interessante, o Cecil não sabe muito o que pensar do Remi além de mild aprehension. It's been an embarrassingly long amount of time, but I've just published Chapter 19 of Space Trash. I really haven't abandoned it. I still very much want to finish it, but the writing muse has definitely left me high and dry. (And, not just where it pertains to Space Trash) If people still care about it, I'm going to work on finishing it, even if it's slowly. That's how anything gets done though, right? Little bit at a time.

eira mahariel (two-handed berserk/champ spec), rhett hawke (two-handed berserk spec), alas lavellan (mage knight enchanter spec), romanced alistair/fenris/dorian respectively

shiv tabris (dual wield duelist/assassin spec), radella “rads” hawke (mage spirit healer spec), kat adaar (two-handed reaver spec), romanced morrigan/isabela/cassandra respectively because im a pc gamer and i think i should be able to date whatever video game woman i like because im infinitely better than cishet men

this world state said yeah i respect mens rights. mens rights to shut the fuck up

twins bronson (sword/shield reaver spec) & bryant cousland (archer ranger spec), carmine hawke (archer assassin spec), syracuse trevelyan (dual wield tempest spec), romanced zevran/anora/josephine/bull. if ur wondering how that works my city now and the warden, hawke and the inquisitor should all meet and so they do because i Said So

knight enchanter is a Very op specialization and by Very op i mean it makes a mage with their built-in low constitution stats able to solo the biggest baddest dragon in the game on nightmare mode in under five minutes so like. alas lavellan fist fights dragons for fun send tweet

i think lavellans should be able to hit ppl with bricks for all the shit they endure. thus solas gets pranked by mahariel and alas by which i mean they just tip buckets of water onto him from the rookery

gray “mage rights” hawke is best friends with fenris which surprises literally everyone. their friendship started because they got into a fist fight and then they were like okay i respect u now. hawke is like hey fenris give me ur sword i have a fun trick to show u [uses his sword as a foci to zap carver in the ass with lightning]

i am Always thinking abt like how cullen could have been one man anti-chantry propaganda machine if he hadn’t so blatantly been shoehorned into every game past origins so anyway bioware forgot about a wholeass moon i can write what i like. [holds up cullen by the scruff of his stupid armor] not only are you bisexual you are also a bottom

unlocked secret dialogue option where my inquisitors verbally cuss out dorian’s dad instead of whatever sympathetic narrative the writers were going for cuz its bullshit.

riva is a showoff and a Menace about being as good as he is because he unabashedly loves being a mage and hes like oooh look at me im sexy i dont need to use my hands to cast magic because i’m just that good ;)) and you know what. hes right.

gray, on the other hand, does Not want to be mage. he wants to be a druffalo farmer and retire in the hinterlands and be left the fuck alone. unfortunately he is gay and has one brain cell and terrible, terrible taste in men. ribbed relentlessly for this by riva (altho does he have room to talk hes been hung up on cullen since he was like 13)

shiv is trans n kieran is the result of doing the dark ritual with her wife and he looks a Lot like shiv (dark skin pointed ears, shock-white hair) and morrigan always just Assumed she dyed it or did something magic with it so seeing their kid come out like that was a WEIRD time for her

leliana almost Murdered by cassandra in worldstate 5 because the warden is Actually There The Whole Time, but its been 10 years, mal’s cut off all her hair and gotten full facial tattoos and she’s like “no one will know its me its fine” and she’s right. she gets away with it. only cullen like, Knows, because he knew her before the blight but he doesnt have a death wish n he like. will Not piss her off

shes dalish by birth n she was stolen from her clan by templars and thus is vehemently anti-circle and anti-chantry in general

so i tried making a male mage trevelyan to romance cassandra but??? there was no spark? there was no oh wow they're each other's soulmates ?? and i realized it was because julius trevelyan (affectionately called jules trev in the ostwick circle) was in love with dorian pavus and dorian pavus was in love with jules trev back

so i gave up and made pyrrand cadash and wow okay this is everything?? cassandra screams no! when pyrrand falls in battle, and pyrrand is so so talented at like, stabbing the fuck out of the people battering at cassandra's shield. they're in love and i'm in love with their love, it's wonderful.

For your canon muses: what are aspects you disagree with or choose to ignore when writing them? For your OCs: what is your thought process when doing their world and or character building?

So far, the only one that I really disagree with canon for is Logan tbh?  I’m hella in denial about his death so while he still OD’s, he doesn’t die.  He winds up in the hospital and then goes to rehab and cleans up eventually.  Also (cuz butterfly effect), Haley lets Jules live so the Delos twins wind up reasonably happy and healthy thank you very much.

Billy, I’ll have to see what happens with season 2, Brisco, I’m pretty sure I’m fine with shit that happens in canon, I’m still working on rewatching his show but I don’t think there’s anything I vehemently disagree with.

OCs...  It depends.  Talon started out as “I wanna play a dual wield assassin, and let’s make him snarky with no sense of diplomacy cuz it’ll be hilarious to romance Josephine with him and I don’t have to worry about approval”.  And then quite frankly he just...  Grew.  What I do with OCs from there, once I have that base concept (either as a random concept that’ll be fun, something I wanna see more of, or a role that needs filled like in the case of Alaric) I’ll sit down and work backwards from where I need them to be and that’s how I develop their backstory?  So I’m constantly asking “ok, here’s where they are, how did they get there, why are they like this, what could have made them this way/choose that path”.  Keryth was a “well what if” moment, and again, I just got too involved and invested in this dynamic to just...  Leave it be just a “what if”.  So Talon got a baby boy to raise.

Ashe was initially a self insert wayyyyyy back when and wound up being very much a foil to Talon.  With her though, I was never happy with her background and motivations?  So idk, I just kept reworking her and tweaking her to see what felt right for her, and I think I’m happy with where she’s at now.  Alaric, like I said, he was built out of necessity.  I felt like Ashe had a sibling and initially he was dead, but that just... Didn’t fit, so he (and their eldest brother, Azriel) wound up coming into existence and being developed to help enrich her story.

Taliesin was based off Talon’s initial design and a similar concept, but I didn’t wanna do the same thing, but snarky rogues?  That’s something I’m familiar with, and I wanted something familiar for my first DnD venture which is what Taliesin was built for.  I also didn’t want to have a super tragic backstory for him, and I think I partially succeeded?  He’s still got dead parents, but ah, he had a good childhood before he lost them.

I also have a handful of other OCs that were created cuz I don’t see much of that kind of character.  Like I’ve got a really feminine dwarf warden, a young teenage elf quizzy who’s got anxiety, a Trevelyan who’s Bann of Ostwick and a grandfather and is another one of my quizzies...
