What is your happiest memory?

hmmmm i have a couple that are very close to my heart that i feel need to stay there. other than that, i have a lot of happy memories with my mum that i don’t think i could put in order, and very recently of course my coming out to friends, colleagues and my family that went so so so well and i‘m really thankful to everyone bc i didn’t expect everyone to be so supportive and accepting and absolutely lovely about it 🥺

JavHair: An Illustrated Analysis ⭐

a) Standard Ponytail: Bless Philip Quast for popularizing this look. Historical inaccuracy aside, it's become his signature both onstage and in fanworks. Bonus points if he ties it with a ribbon!

b) Braid!vert: Rumored to be a Bradley exclusive..

c) Wrapped ponytail: I've only seen this style on a couple Javert's, namely Tam Mutu and Arai's manga-vert. Jeremy Secomb also rocked it in the 2015 London production^^

d) Loose hair: Another common look for post-barricade Javert. Michael Ball had the front pulled back with a cute little bow, so I went with that style!

e) Curly!vert: So far I've only seen these pretty ringlets on the likes of Jérôme Pradon, Hayden Tee and Drew Sarich but there could be other examples. Sebastiao Saramago (French Javert) also had very nice natural curls (ꈍᴗꈍ)

f) Bun!vert: Bun-vert needs no introduction. I've seen a range, from high messy buns to half-updos. So far I only know of Bradley's, PLEASE contact me if there's info on any others!

Don't get me wrong, I am quite partial to clean-cut Javerts with shorter hair (here's looking at you, Earl). I grew up more accustomed to this style, having grown up with Crowe!vert and a handful of well-kempt Javerts at my local theatre (good ol' Utah) before I was introduced to the glory of Philip Quast and the West End. I've also seen some hott mulletverts, and Roland Karl (French concert Javert) made bald!vert EXTREMELY sexy. Let me know which look is your favorite!

Jesus: Glenn Carter

Costume Notes: His belt and ring is still the same from his original costume, his shoes look the same as well though I may be wrong about that. His “Superstar” look is comprised of tight plasticky black trousers with a red jacket that has a black band at the bottom and black/dark blue? lining. His dress shirt is satiny and has a front glittery panel.

As stated this is a film so if you want to watch it you can. There was a stage version of this as well with the same Jesus Christ actor Glenn Carter (and other actors as well) and the same costume designer, it was the Broadway 2000 JCS revival which I made post here:  1, 2

Fait NDdP et Les Mis ! Du coup j’accepte la carte blanche avec plaisir !! Je ne savais pas lequel choisir. Une autre comédie musicale française ? Une des mes comédies musicales anglophone ou germanophones préférées ? Au final, je me suis décidée sur Lord of The Rings The Musical parce que malgré ses défauts et ses raccourcis, j’adore cette version musicale de l’oeuvre de Tolkien et plus de personnes devraient savoir qu’elle existe ! Et aussi parce que cocorico, Aragorn est français ! Il est joué par Jérôme Pradon, un de mes acteurs de comédies musicales favoris ! Breeeeef !
