It's really interesting to see the different vibes of 'aita' in the tumblr ecosystem versus it's native ecosystem

A lot of reddit ones boil down to - 'I've done the most abhorrent thing to a loved one/child/random person but I surely can't be in the wrong' or 'I'm in actual horror movie scenario but was I over reacting to not wanting to be jeff the killed' While a lot of the ones I've seen on tumblr's @am-i-the-asshole-official - relatively minor situation/insignificant but I'm *way* to in my own head about it 'i took an extra breadstick at the party thus depriving someone else of a precocious bread stick' or 'i'm in a such a wild relationship that needs to be studied by professionals for decades'

You'd think ours would be more wild considering we've had bone stealing witches, dashcon, and so on

I tend to subscribe to the idea that you can't talk about everything and you can't be always concerned about everything and not posting about something is not necessarily evidence of not caring, alright? You've got to make decisions about what you have time and energy for. Of course you do!

Now, I'm sleep deprived and so my filter is lower so I'm certain I will regret posting this eventually, but. All that said. It is utterly insane to me how many posts I see (usually correctly, don't get me wrong, don't even start with me) highlighting Israeli crimes and demanding change, but when tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of Israelis have been protesting against their far-right government for TWENTY-NINE STRAIGHT WEEKS it has been flat fucking crickets from everyone I follow on every single website who is not Jewish or Israeli themselves.

If you want change, you have got to support the people on the ground fighting for it.

isnt the calendar colouring marking which day of the month is the first and last day? like the day of the week it starts and ends on? so september begins on a Sunday, ends on a Monday? the coloured chunks marking days not included in that month?

added your addition. the thing is, they don't fill the days. not all months anyway. to avoid annoying people with my bullshit, pics under the cut:

April is fine and suits your theory greatly (honestly, i wish it was the case. and looking only on January i thought it was. but then February and March threw me off and i began spiralling because of it 😂). May starts on Wednesday but Monday and Tuesday aren't colored.

July. Tuesday and Friday aren't colored. Saturday and Sunday are.

August. idk what to say. 30th and 31st are colored. so as missing Sunday.

our September that you can't really see. the top 6 missing days are colored as you said. but the bottom... 4 missing days are "white", Sat and Sun are gray.

October. the 1st missing Monday isn't colored. the 1st missing Friday also isn't colored. Sat and Sun are.

November. perfectly colored, suits your theory. next.

December. missing Monday-Saturday are colored as they "should". Wed-Fri aren't, then Sat-Sun are.

conclusion: i have no idea what is going on. they are not marking weekends or long holidays as well. i don't think so. i'll make better pictures when it's not that dark outside. the lighting is atrocious thus different angles to avoid the shade of my hand, i'm so sorry.
