bcs befoee id even started ppl going "itll make you angry" scared rhe shit out of me. but it did.. the entire reverse. i dont kneejerk snap all the time over nothing these days. its been excellent but makes me scared to run out bcs haha this state sucks
ughhhhhh why does the happiest thing ive chosen for myself and my life also have to be what hurts me the most bcs of shit entirely out of my hands

why can’t there be cute wlw dramas!!! i want young lesbian/bi women in high school coming to terms with their sexualities without being endlessly sexualized and/or getting forced tragic endings!!! i want soft wlw romcoms!!! i want the clichés!!! the friends to lovers!!! the cheesiness!!! i want supernatural gay women!!!!!!! gay vampire girls!!!! gay witches!!!! gay werewolf girls!!!!! i want wlw spies!!!! it seems to me like the media like to present gay women as if we only have two experiences/storylines: either the negative, homophobic family versions or the hypersexualized version. don’t get me wrong! telling our stories and our experiences & struggles with coming out as lesbian or bi women in this society is so important, it really is!! i just wish. like i wish there was the soft side too yk?????? straight people get movies/tv shows showcasing various elements and storylines but it seems like gay women get different storylines but it always goes back to homophobic family or internalized biphobia/lesbophobia. realism is important of course, but i want the softness too!!!! idk if im wording this right i just. wish there were more wlw shows and that they werent so sexualized (i.e. clearly made for straight men) or only focus on the scary parts of our experiences
