Listen I’m running out of bandaids
WOOPS THERE IT IS
KAMUI LANDS A BRURALLY FATAL BLOW ON SYAORAN
I think there’s even a more brutal and more fatal blow in the next chapter, but still! We’ve entered The End of Syaoran Zone.
AND ITS SO MUCH HARDER TO WATCH KNOWING THAT THIS IS WHAT IT IS
It’s just. So incredibly sad that Syaoran dies suffering, drowning, and slowly bleeding out alone while people watch from the sidelines, none of the rest of the family there to help until it’s too late.
And in water - opposite to his own element, and certainly making his fire useless. And without his sword, as Mokona isn’t here to give it to him, and he can’t kick effectively due to the water drag. He’s even been shot in his leg, making it even harder to kick than is really necessary. Even his own secret nature is used against him, without his knowledge, as his “game” status prompts Kamui to bleed him out and feed him to Subaru.
Every piece of this scene is the antithesis of everything he is, and it’s utterly tragic.
So, like, I cannot wait for whenever it is I assume he gets his soul back because I can’t imagine a sadder end than this.

Wacky zany post-canon crack where a bunch of heavenly officials wish crimson rain didn't exist in the vicitiny of a shitty 'wish-granting' object and they all get beamed over to a world where crimson rain DIDNT exist and by the time they wake up from their dumbassary-induced comas they are all staunchly like "crimson rain is not that bad actually" and they hate it

I understand the instinct to hear news about something happening and go "ok, now how will this impact me", but folks. With the WGA strike. Please don't make it about your favorite show. I'm sorry something that's important to you has been negatively affected! But the wellbeing of writers should absolutely take priority over that. You can be sad about the impact of a strike and still be glad they're fighting for improved conditions.
