Hey. I know you get a lot of messages about requests and when fics are going to be published.

But i just wanna remind you and i am sure i am not alone when i say this : your fics are incredible ( from characterisation of the members to the way you include very serious issues in your fics) . The range of topics you approach is insane just browsing in all the parts and sneak peeks of 'gay enough' is enough evidence. And as an Ethan fangirl i can say i am spoiled and smitten for Ethan in gay enough and the way he gently teaches Y/n about kinky stuff. More fluff of this king pls.

And i wanna thank you cause i can say that seeing and reading your fics got me back into writing my own (i never published anything anywhere cause i got scared of mean people of the internet).

Can’t Help Falling In Love (Pt.4)

Summary: Series of moments where Bucky just can’t help getting drawn to her.

A/N: Hi hi!!!! here is the next part to this series! ive been having so much fun with this one.. I think ive mentioned it once or twice lol. Its also been fun getting to hear everybody encouraging bucky to maybe do something lol. This part is 497 words yayyy!! right under the limit I set for myself lol. I hope you guys like it and thanks so much for reading!

He’s taken by surprise when he finds her already sitting at his usual table as he waits in line. 

The rest of the coffee place buzzes, people zipping and zapping trying to make their way across the crowded space. 

But it’s as if there is a different type of air around her. The sun filtering in from the window surrounds her, setting her apart from the rest of the shop, keeps her away from the noise — a safe haven where all is still. 

Well, everything except his heart. 

He takes a step forward in line; another happy customer leaves with their coffee only to be disappointed at the fact that there’s no place to sit, and that’s when he notices. 

On his usual chair, across the table from where she sits, she has placed her bag. And he knows he shouldn’t dwell too much on it, but his heart drops a little, his mind is consumed just a tiny bit by the buzz around him, as he realizes she’s taken his table and is most likely waiting for someone else. 

It’s silly, isn’t it? To envy someone he hasn’t even seen. To envy that they will get to spend their morning with somebody he doesn’t even technically know. 

But the heart isn’t always logical, and so his morning dims. 

He’s only two people away from placing his order, and his gaze has this funny habit of always finding its way back to her. 

She’s wholly entranced in the book she holds; the same one from when he saw her last, but she feels his gaze on her, and she peeks from behind her book. He barely manages to catch her gaze before she’s smiling at him. 

At him.

He can’t help but let that very thought wash away every ounce of sadness that had filled his heart.

There she is smiling at him. 

His morning is a little brighter now.

“Sorry for just taking up your table,” she says, standing next to him now as he still waits in line. She’s left her book and bag back at their table. 

Their table? That sounds nice.

“It was busy when I got here, so I saved you your seat. Hope you don’t mind.”

His heart is doing something funny he can’t quite describe. It beats a little faster, except it doesn’t feel like its beating, but more like its dancing in his chest, and he swears she hears it because she looks down to his chest; the faintest hint of a smile. 

“Thank you,” he says, and he has nothing more to offer but a smile of his own.

A smile just for her. 

“Couldn’t have you standing up. That’s no way of enjoying a coffee.”

“No, it isn’t,” he finds himself saying, his voice more sing-songy than usual. “Thanks, it means a lot.”

She takes another piece of his heart as she walks away, eyes bright and he’s almost convinced there’s a new bounce in her step.
