Theory Time !!! (Hush Edition)
Okay so the main two theories I'm seeing about Hush are that he is either a sovereign or a shade.
I'm personally leaning more towards the shade side for a couple reasons.
Okay so if Hush were to be a sovereign, why wouldn't he be able to use magic by himself ?? I mean sovereigns literally MADE demons + came from Aria, like their whole thing IS magic. (I guess there is an argument to be made that, like the sovereigns, Hush used Docs core a sort of tool to flow magic thru but idk).
Plus, bro doesn't have a core !!! I would imagine that shades don't either, they aren't magic users, they aren't even alive—they steal life to gain sentience. It would make sense that he has fed enough to appear human. It would explain the uncanny valleyness of his mannerisms and such. Plus, the whole "I'm here to do something important" (I dont remember what he said but it was along those lines) thing he mentioned, it's the sovereigns message!!! Maybe he is here to, as one could say, do it himself.

In about 15 hours of gameplay I've found about 6 definite bugs (a couple of which were very minor) and only one real issue I personally had with balancing in early game (currently in what feels like mid game and testing that and endgame before moving on). There's likely others I just haven't found just yet and the balancing is definitely going to need to be tested each patch but overall? Very good vibes from the initial book of hours beta

Last night during d&d, Esme went to go talk to the innkeepers about her parents, who had apparently passed through at some point during the twelve years that she had been separated from them. The innkeepers implied that they were involved in Some Shit, so Esme went to go talk to them about it with the countenance of a shaking newborn foal, only to find out that they are APPARENTLY part of a rad Tal'dorei-born underground anarchy group that worked for people who lived under oppression.
She's still WILDLY freaked out but now she's like, "okay.... at least they're like. doing cool things without me."
