It was a perfect day, the birds were chirping, the sun was out, a light breeze cooling the heat from the sun. Phantom was washing dishes used for lunch when Swiss walks up and leans on the counter, “what are you doing later quint?”

“I was gonna listen to a podcast Lus recommended. why? what’s up?” Phantom responded a little too eagerly.

“I’m taking you out later. Dress cute” and with that, Swiss walked away leaving Phantom with more questions than answers. Where were they going? How cute? Ah! so many questions!

After dishes, Phantom ran to his room to find a cute outfit for whatever Swiss had planned. After destroying his closet, he found the perfect outfit.

He heard a gentle knock on his door,, “ready?” he heard Swiss say. “Yes! Is this okay?” Phantom asks. Swiss walks up to him, cups his face and slowly kisses him, “absolutely perfect. Now c’mon, we’re gonna miss it if we don’t hurry”

miss what? Phantom wondered

Hand in hand, Swiss lead Phantom through the abbey grounds to a clearing in the woods on top of a hill with the perfect view of the beach and the sun. There lay a picnic blanket with a basket, flowers, a bottle of something (Phantom couldn’t tell), along with cups and plates. “Swiss, what is this?”

“I figured I’d take you on a cute date.” “But why?” Swiss shushed him with quick kiss, “Shh, cmon, let’s eat.”

They sit on the picnic blanket, and Swiss pulls out PB&J sandwiches, fruits, desserts, and poured sparkling apple juice into his cup.

“Honey, you brought my favorite foods” “Of course! I did!” They eat and enjoy each other’s company, laughing and talking about whatever came to mind.

Out of nowhere, Swiss pulls out a disposable camera, and starts snapping pictures of Phantom eating, or staring off into the slowly setting sun.

“Stop it, you goof” “Nope, you looks absolutely adorable and I want to take pictures”

“Give me the camera!” “Nooo! Never!”

They start to lightly fight over the camera, and Phantom grabs a little bit of cake and smushes it all over Swiss mouth. In surprise, Swiss lets go of the camera and Phantom takes the opportunity to snap a picture of Swiss’ caked face.

Both are laughing and having a delightful time. Swiss grabs phantom from the back of his neck and bring him into a kiss. Now they’re both covered in cake. Camera still in hand, Phantom snaps a picture of them kissing.

“Shhhh, the shows about to start, little quint”

“what sh-” a hand covers his mouth.

Swiss sits up and puts Phantom in between his legs. They watch the sunset and when a few moments after sunset, the fireflies start blinking around them.

Phantom’s never seen fireflies, so he’s just staring in awe. He holds out his hands, and a few land on his hand. He stands and walks through them, Swiss snapping a few more pictures to add to his scrapbook. He looks at Phantom with love and admiration. How can someone so wonderful and pure love him so much, Swiss thinks. Phantom deserves the world and more. Swiss looks up to see Phantom chasing a few fireflies like a cat. He just laughs and snaps another picture.

After a while, the fireflies dissipate, and they pack up. Swinging their hands together, they walk back to the abbey and finish the night falling asleep in Phantom’s room surrounded by a mountain of plushies.

Anime I've Binged: August 2021

I've been crafting a lot recently because I wanna get my yarn work done before it gets cold so LOTS OF ANIME lmao let's gooooo

The Case Study of Vanitas: On god, this anime is gorgeous. Still being upload as it's a new seasonal, but it's a Yen Press distributed work by the same mangaka of Pandora Hearts and Crimson Shell so it's STYLISTICALLY GORGEOUS. The story is interesting and feels new but familiar enough to have guess, people who like men AND women will have something for them, and Noè is my baby boy, my heart, my lovely little lamb, the sweetest green bean on the planet <3. Can't wait for the (eventual, as told on the first episode) death of Vanitas by Noè's hands that will crush me <3. 9/10.

Oddtaxi: I was NOT EXPECTING this anime to be THAT GOOD. Oddakawa is the MVP. You think you're getting a slice of life anime with some furry elements and instead you get Paranoia Agent meets Yakuza and went to school with Beastars. Genuinely one of the best anime of the coming decade. The last 30 seconds of the last episode legitimately left me screaming and my brother had to ask me what was wrong. 11/10.

The Slime Diaries: The offshoot for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime full of shorts while the second half of the second season was put on hiatus due to covid. Cute, bubbly, but the drawing styles for everyone was a little too off for me to entirely enjoy. However, the extra background and time they gave to all the characters really fleshed them out and gave them more depth so you have more to care about when you're watching the main series again. Not bad, pretty cute, but you won't understand unless you've watched all the way up to the middle of the Second Season. 8.5/10.

The Slow Life of a Cheat Pharmacist: Another Light Novel Slice of Life Isekai given life, I've seen better but this one isn't bad by any means. It gives you exactly what it says on the tin, with NO annoying fan service or gross (bad) harem dynamics. Pretty cute tbh. 8/10.

Mob Psycho 100 S1: The animation is INCREDIBLE. OH MY GOD. Story was solid, depictions of original characters was GREAT and Mob is my beautiful little boy I want to wrap up in a blanket and put to sleep <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Reigen is a sweaty, sweaty gross goblin I found outside the Denny's dumpster at midnight and decided "ahh, yes, a man who is perfect to destroy and objectify all at once." 11/10.

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S1, S2, and Shorts: I'm gonna be real, I'm a mad lesbian who knew I was gonna be disappointed by what I wanted but knew I wasn't gonna get it. STILL super cute tho. Lucoa and Shota gave me HARD SIDE EYE VIBES THO. Tits. Tits for days. Not my favorite but I've seen worse. 7.5/10.

How to Keep a Mummy: SO CUTE genuinely went online to see if I could buy a plushie before remembering I have crafting power and twelve dollars. Slice of Life featuring an adorable cast of high schoolers and their supernatural pets. 8.5/10. I couldn't stop being delighted by how CUTE everything was <3

Elegant Yokai Apartment Life: A Slice of Life Turned Plot-ish about if Tohru from Fruits Basket was a guy and shoved in an entire apartment complex full of supernatural beings, with less explicit romantic plotlines. It's not bad but the plot is all over the place and nonsensical in the the "why did the writer think this was a good idea" way and not the "lol" way. It was a Light Novel turned published piece tho so that clears up a lot of things. Incredibly small internet presence so if you want the world's tiniest fandom, try here. 8/10.

Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average In the Next Life?!: Another in the long line up of isekais and light novels that have gained an audience, this is honestly one of my favorite of the Isekais I've watched so far. It's fun, humorous, and it's got the decent premise of "oh yeah, I'm average in all my abilities! ... If you compare them from the tiniest bug to the strongest dragon alive." It's busty jokes and certain dried up cliches are abound tho, so some of the humor falls flat. That being said: the magic is run on nanomachines. That alone gives it enough premise for me to watch it. I watched the dub which I'll admit isn't amazing, but worked for me. 8.5/10

Restaurant to Another World: Another Light Novel adaptation but this one was a much earlier one that was published a few years ago, it's so calm that I like watching it to fall asleep to. That being said, don't watch this while hungry! Or watch it while eating leftovers! Because THE FOOD LOOKS SO GOOD I WANT IT D: Lol but serious it's pretty cute, really normal, there's no plot, I almost hesitate to call this anything other than a fantasy slice of life show instead of just a series of shorts strung together to make a show. I want to eat at Restaurant Nekoya TTuTT 8/10

DISHONORABLE MENTIONS:

How NOT To Summon a Demon Lord: I got 6 episodes in before I straight up could NOT take the fan service anymore. Literally, I watched 5 1/2 episodes, paused about 4 months, gave it one last shot and watched the 6th episode, and then called it quits. It's SO GROSS IT MAKES ME NAUSEOUS. Not in a gorey way (which is preferable tbh) but in "all these hyper-sexualized, assaulted, groomed, fan serviced girls are underage or are lolis" way. Ew. Gross. I refuse. I made myself watch PRISON SCHOOL but smth about this show just... made itself unwatchable. Maybe how it's still trying to make the MC seem like a normal dude and in Prison School they were literally all written to be unlikable and everyone knew it was fucked up. Here, it's like... portrayed as normal and positive? I just can't do it fam, I hate this show so goddamn much. I'm going to bed.

Dating an Anime Fan!

๑ Requested by @puddinghead-gameboy ๑ Quick Note: ๑ Characters: Sugawara, Oikawa, Tendou, and Kenma! ๑ Warnings: None!

(I’m sorry this took so long, lovely! I didn’t start until late. I hope the wait was worth it though! <3)

(I also kept these a bit short, simply because I think there’s only so much detail that can really be put in, however a lot of thought were put into these and if you see ones you don’t recognize or haven’t watched, I highly recommend giving them a go. Also keep in mind that sometimes the mangas are better for one reason or the next if the anime doesn’t do it for you.)

๑ Sugawara:

- He thinks it’s cute. You nerding out is the cutest thing to him and the way your eyes light up is just so precious.

- He will definitely watch with you if you ask, or even if you don’t.

- I feel like Suga would be more interested in action-oriented ones (like Attack on Titan, Bleach,) but would also totally watch something like Host Club with you and totally get a kick out of it.

- Even if one of them wasn’t too interesting to him, he would still totally watch with you without complaint, however is slightly more likely to make dumb jokes about what’s going on.

- It’s honestly one of his favorite things to just sit you in his lap or lay with you while watching. (Blanket and a snack and/or drink are optional but always welcomed.)

๑ Oikawa:

- I can see him liking multiple different genres, but only to an extent. (And hear me out, it’ll seem like I’m getting slightly off focus, but I promise there’s a point.)

- I’ve always headcannoned him to be a total hopeless romantic who just loves a happy ending, so I think he’d love shows like Host Club, Sailor Moon, and Fruits Basket.

- However if he’s in a more dramatic mood, he’d probably lean more towards Nana (10/10 recommend) or Vampire Knight (cheesy on multiple levels, but dramatic the further you go. It was one of my starters.)

- That doesn’t mean he wouldn’t watch whatever you’re watching though.

- Fair warning though, unless he starts from the very beginning with you, he will ask so many questions, so it might get annoying or ruin your time a tiny bit.

- He will also get jealous of your favorite characters and I will never believe otherwise. Guy, gal, or otherwise, he will get jealous.

- His most important thing though is just trying to understand the show and get into it with you, because it makes you so happy and he wants to be invested with you and your interests. It’s super sweet.

๑ Tendou:

- Literally an absolute wildcard. He likes what he likes, but even though your tastes are different, he literally will not complain to you. He will make jokes and sarcastic comments though.

- Will also totally use the knowledge of you liking anime to his advantage for gifts. Whether he plans in advance or realizes your birthday is literally right around the corner, expect a cute plushie or merch from him as a gift.

- His taste is absolutely diverse and so is his attention span. 

- You’ll ask if he wants to watch with you and he literally has to think on it. What did he watch last? What did he watch last with you? Is he sure he can watch more of whatever show you’re watching right now?

- He watches with you regardless, however might be a bit fidgety or talkative.

๑ Kenma:

- Probably the best to watch with. I feel like video games and anime just go hand in hand.

- Once he learns that you’re into anime, he will likely give you recommendations, already having titles in mind and will literally offer and ask to watch with you whether they’re ones he recommended or not.

- He’ll probably also sit you in his lap, have his arms around you, his Switch or something in his hands, though most of his attention will be on you and the screen.

- He honestly just loves sitting with you watching the way you take in what’s happening in front of you. Your facial expressions, cute little reaction noises, he thinks it’s cute. 

- He’s also just happy you have something that helps you keep entertained and even more something that you guys can enjoy together that isn’t video games or something. This one is mainly your thing like his is video games.

- He likes the bonding. :)

jongsang little space one shot

// the story of how yeosang found out that jongho is a little

Jongho clapped his hands together excitedly. for once, he had the whole dorm to himself. and he knew exactly how he wanted to spend his time.

as soon as the boy heard the front door close, he scattered onto his knees, bending downwards as he dragged the big cardboard box out from under the bed. it looked like any ordinary moving box but it contained some of his most prized posessions. with a big smile he opened the lid, his hands reaching straight for the brown teddy bear which rested atop all the other items in the box. jongho squeaked in excitement "hello! i missed you so much! hello hello" he repeaded happily as he hugged the plushy close to his chest, pressing his cheek against the bear's soft furr. after he's given the stuffed animal enough cuddles, he set his little friend down on his lap as he reached into the the box again. this time he retreived a light blue baby bottle and his pacifier, a pink one covered in a blue butterfly pattern. jjongie put the pacifier into his mouth, contently sucking on it as all his worries of adulthood seemed to fade away in an instant.

smiling, he picked up the bottle and took his teddy by the hand as he hopped towards the kitchen. as much as he was feeling little, his mind was still clear enough to operate the kitchen properly. so, he filled up the bottle with banana milk and popped it into the microwave. while he waited for the beverage to warm up, he took the stuffed bear and walked up to the big kitchen window. with sparkly eyes he watched the tiny cars making their way through afternoon traffic in the streets below.

his vision was focused on a little white puppy jumping along the sidewalk as he heard the microwave bing. the young male quickly turned around and retreived the bottle from the microwave before screwing on the cap and making his way back towards the bedroom.

being a little made jongho feel especially cuddly, so he gathered a bunch of pillows and soft blankets from yeosang and wooyoung's beds, throwing them onto his own matress, along with his laptop.

looking forward to the warmth and comfort of his bed, he quickly climbed onto the matress, throwing a soft, grey blanket over his legs. he then proceeded to turn on his favorite movie (whinnie the poo) on his laptop before he took his own bear plushy into his right arm and held the baby bottle in his left hand, leaving the rubber nub in his mouth most of the time since it provided him with a feeling of comfort and relaxastion.

he only made it through half of the movie when his bottle of milk was empty and he'd slipped completely into his regressed headspace. he reached for the pacifier on his night stand and shoved it into his mouth, cuddling further into the big pile of blankets, making sure his little plushy was comfortable in his embrace. he tried his best to listen to the conversations in the film, but his eyelids became so heavy. comforted by the blankets hugging around his body and the pacifier bobbing in and out of his mouth it was impossible for him to escape the sleepiness.

he was woken up by gentle fingers carding through his messy bed hair. still too tired to open his eyes, the little leaned into the touch, hugging his bear closer before relaxing his body again.

he didn't really intend on moving until he heard a familiar voice "jongho?" and that's when it hit him. nobody knew he was a little, nobody knew he only reacted to the name "jjongie" once he'd regressed. he was lying right in front of his fellow band member, pacifier in his mouth and a big teddy in his arm. the boy gasped, suddenly wide awake as he sat up in shock, yeosang's expression equally surpised at the sudden movement.

anxiety washed over jongho as he tried to hide the pacifier beneath one of the blankets, little tears of embarrassment escaping his eyes, trying to turn away from the other person on the bed. yeosang placed a gentle hand on the younger's back, scooting a bit closer "jongho do you mind explaining?" he asked.

though it was in a gentle tone, a new wave of anxiety hit the regressor as his brain convinced him that yeosang was definitely judging the hell out of him and would probably never speak to him again after this.

yeosang felt the boy's body shake against the palm of his hand, removing it in case he was invading the other's personal space at such a vulnerable time. he sighed, thinking about the right way to express himself before giving it a second approach "don't worry. i won't judge you. i'm genuinly curious, tell me about everything. i'm there to listen and i'd love to be there to help or even take care of you... if you want."

this made jongho halt. he's always wanted a caregiver but simultaneously never wanted to out himself to anyone. but now was the first (and possibly the only) chance for him to do so. yeosang seemed to be the only one who was in the dorm with him and he was a friend jongho had always been able to trust. the younger male sniffled, hiding his face in his blanket as he mumbled "imalittle".

"what?" yeosang spoke, his voice curious as he slowly removed the blanket from jongho's face. the younger refused to make eye contact as he took a deep breath "i'm a little. i basically have a 4 year old in my head that comes out every once in a while... when i want him to."

"oh wait.. i think i've seen a documentary about something like that on youtube. the woman who had like a whole playroom and 20 different types of diapers?"

"ion wear diapers, I'm not /that/ little." jongho giggled, slowly starting to feel more comfortable around the elder.

"but do you still need help with other things? are there times you need an adult to help? do you have someone who can help?" yeosang would've loved to ask even more questions, but made sure to not overwhelm the boy.

"no, jjongie doesn't have anyone." the younger pouted, slowly slipping back into little space as he noticed that yeosang was someone he could feel safe around "jjongie can't make food and jjongie can't tie shoes. jjongie want help but nobody want help jjongie."

yeosang cooed at the younger, mesmerized by his cute way of speaking and the tears brimming in the younger's eyes. if this weren't his first time "meeting" the little, he'd probable attack him with a fat hug and start squishing his cute bread cheeks with how sweet the other was behaving. but he had manners. so he paused a moment before asking "does jjongie like cuddles? kisses? tell me everything i need to know and then i'll do my best to take care of you.... if you're okay with having me as your caregiver?"

the younger was still shy, staring at the now black screen of his laptop as he responded "jjongie loves kisses and cuddles way more than big jjongie. and jjongie likes banana milk and-" he was interrupted by a pair of big, strong arms warpping around his body, pulling him close as yeosang rubbed his chin against jjongie's hair, not able to hold back from showering his new friend in all the affection he could offer.

"oh you are so so cute my little gummy bear" yeosang whispered as he leaned against the pillows, jongho falling on top of him, grabbing at the elder's sweater as he melted into the warmth. they stayed like this for several minutes, yeosang holding the younger close as jjongie tried holding back another wave of tears, this time due to the overwhelming happiness he was feeling. finally he's met someone who would accept him in this state and was even willing to take care of him. it was something he'd always deemed impossible.

after some time, yeosang loosened his tight embrace, breaking the comfortable silence "jjongie what's your favorite thing to do? i want to make sure i can somehow make you happy today before i really educate myself on how to take care of littles properly."

jjongie smiled at that, digging his face into yeosang's chest to hide his blushing cheeks "jj- jjongie likes watching movies a lot."

"then let's do that, hm? do you want to go watch it on the big tv in the living room? the others won't be home for the next few hours."

the little nodded, not letting go of the elder's shirt when yeosang finally sat up. luckily, yeosang had intensified his gym training over the past couple of months and was able to pick the boy up, grabbing the pacifier and bottle on the way out. he placed the little onto the big sofa, giving him head pats before making his way to the kitchen. he filled the bottle up with banana milk and cut an apple from their fruit basket into small slices, placing them onto a plate. when everything was prepared he walked back to the boy, smiling at him as he set down the items on the living room table, in awe when jjongie's eyes seemed to light up from excitement. it didn't take long for them to find a movie to watch, the younger picking the first disney movie that popped up on the tv screen.

he happily munched away on the apples which made yeosangs heart twist and turn from how adorable the other was. once the plate was empty - the last piece being shoved into yeosang's mouth by the little - and once the bottle of milk only had a few sips left, the younger grabbed his pacifier from the surface of the table, shoving it into his mouth before reaching for the living room blanket as he hugged the soft material close to his chest and leaned into yeosang's side. his eyes were sparkling as he watched the colorful characters on the screen whilst yeosang smiled at him, wrapping an arm around the boy's body, pulling him closer. jongho tried to keep up with the plot of the movie, but it got harder by the second, yeosang's warmth and protective embrace making his eyelids feel heavy for the second time that afternoon. he cuddled closer into yeosang's chest as he fell asleep immediately. the elder noticed, leaning his head onto jongho's, his hand holding the sweet boy close as he too, fell asleep, happy that he'd found himself his very own little best friend. he truely looked forward to getting to know the younger's headspace better.
