thinking again and again abt how the hell daniel managed to survive those first few years after armand erased his memories….. like im assuming as well that for a decade armand took away his personhood and absorbed his agency even commanded what he ate how he dressed who he met and talked to daniel probably doesnt even know how to be a whole person without him and even leaving aside daniel being addicted to armands blood like smack the codependency was so insane he would have probably followed armand around forever but in the books he was turned into a vampire so it makes things so much more different than armand leaving daniel to live out the rest of his life as a human and on his own
