trent never really liked parties. sometimes its way too loud, way too stuffy, and way too many people. if it was his teammates or friends he was fine. but sometimes it was strangers that just loves to ask too many questions that he feels like he’s in an interview more than a conversation. some just wanted to hear the drama about the transfers and relationships rumours.

“so trent, the fans want to know if you’re seeing someone or not.”

speaking of relationship rumours.

trent involuntary scrunched his face. if he hears that question one more time or anything related to that he is going to go crazy. the amount of times he has to dodge answering that question this night alone was insane.

it all started with a viral tweet recently that went out on how trent was always “seen” with this one person, a girl specifically, over these past weeks. everyone went haywire with assumptions. articles were posted, people were flooding his dms and his ig posts are full of comments about this mysterious girl.

who? when? how?!

“hello, pardon, i’m so sorry to interrupt, but can i steal him for a bit.”

timing couldn’t have been anymore perfect.

he snapped his head towards you so fast, you can positively hear his neck crack. with the sound of your voice, he could suddenly feel the clouds clearing, the room felt less stuffy, the birds were chirping and everything seemed fine.

your hands wrapped around trent’s forearm, moving to stand close to him, as you smiled politely at the person in front of him.

in all honesty you have been keeping your eyes on him ever since you saw an interviewer that you recognised speaking to him. with trent’s body language, anyone could tell that he wanted to get out of that conversation. so you excuse yourself from your friends and made your way to trent, a strategy already in mind.

the person nodded their head quickly, “yes, yes of course miss.” before they cheekily added, “wouldn’t want to keep you away from your man.”

trent internally cringed, he doesn’t want you to be embarrassed but instead he heard you giggle, your hands squeezing his bicep tighter. but trent knows you, he knows that was not your real laugh.

but when he turned to look at you, he can see that your eyes were sparkling, you were wearing an adorable smile that pulls on his heartstrings, the lights of the room making your skin all glowy and he thinks he might pass out.

as you both bid your goodbyes, trent immediately rested his warm hand at your back, guiding you through the room. you both ended up in a secluded area, hoping that it was out of the eyes of other people. but that proved wrong because you could feel every pair of eyes on you and trent as you both walked together.

leaning against a wall, you turned to look into his brown eyes that you have become fond of. you smiled at him, eyes involuntary dropping down to his rose tinted lips as he licked them, before it curls into one of his pretty grin that never fails to make you swoon.

suddenly you look over trent’s shoulder, you saw a group of people taking picture of both of you.

you smile dropped, and trent grew concerned, “what is it?”

you looked at him, an apology ready in your mind. “i’m so sorry. you just looked uncomfortable and i thought i’d came in and save you. but i am so sorry if that was crossing a line. because with the way it looked we aren’t beating the rumours anytime soon.” you rambled.

trent shook his head, a chuckle leaving his lips. “nah, it’s fine. thank you for savin’ me.” he smirked, at your relief face before a teasing look appeared on his face, “but, ya didn’t say anything when the guy said i was ‘your man’.”

you rolled your eyes, trying to ignore how your heart was beating like crazy, —this gorgeous man was standing right in front of you. you could smell his cologne, you needed to calm down— “you’re very welcome by the way.”

with the smirk never leaving his face, he took a step forward towards you, closing in on your space. you could see his dimples better like this.

“aren’t worried that people are going take our pictures together? with the rumours?” you voiced out, concern plastered on your face.

he shrugged, “nah, not really. reporters say a lot of things, doesn’t really bother me.”

you slowly nodded your head in understanding, lips pursed as a second of silence passed. “so…”

“so…” trent coughed out, he moved between the balls of his feet, “wanna get out of here?” he whispered, scrunching his nose in a way that has you smiling like a lovesick fool.

your nervously looked to the crowd, seeing if anybody was still staring. when you were positive no one was, you looked at trent, nodding with a smile, “yeah, okay.” you took his hand in yours, missing the way his eyes went wide and a shy smile appeared on his lips.

he interlock your fingers together, “let’s go, then.”

you don’t think you’re going to beat the allegations anytime soon.

Okay DW 60th, we got David Tennant back, excellent, Catherine Tate, excellent, Rose references, cute, fantastic, great, Kate Stewart continuing to be the longest running New Who side character, brilliant.

But for real, for real for real, if you’re going to bring back David Tennant “14” back, you find a way to throw Captain Jack in there otherwise what actually is the point. I’m excited to see more episodes mostly because I NEED ANSWERS

Anyway 9/10 season, very entertaining and deffo one of the best Ninjago seasons in a while. It was actually amazing, especially compared to previous seasons that were lacking a little ya know?

The reason it isn’t 10/10 is because of Lloyd’s flashback. I think they should’ve brought his original VA back for that, because it ruined the immersion for me

Other than that little detail though I loved it all and I’m looking forward to S2 of this funky little sequel series

reina i beg 🙇‍♀️ can i ask if the reader and osamu gets back together/him remembers their past in the burden of being fic (i think that’s the name 🥲) cause like… my brain is remembering how reader mentioned that being with him in this state would only be a heartbreak for them since reader will remember all the past but osamu doesn’t… and and!!! that would be too sadge even if they do get together 🥲

god minnie, i’m so happy you brought up the burden of being. i’ve been sad bc i’ve missed being caught up in a story the way that the burden of being had me.

but you can rest easy. they do get back together :) i actually don’t imagine osamu gaining back all his memories to be honest. there are some things that come back to him, i think the bavo-kun memory is one of them because it’s one of the most recent ones but for the most part, he does navigate reconnecting with reader and all the members of hyogo ward instinctually.

it’s kind of like when you show up to a family reunion and you have all these aunties and uncles saying they knew you when you were this tall. that kind of thing. like he knows these people have been involved in his life some way or another and that he’s meant to be kind and receptive to their generosity. but truly, he cannot place them in his mind prior to remeeting them again.

osamu initially loves her like it is second nature. he cannot explicitly say why he does. he just knows, deep down, in his heart and soul and body, that he does. he loves her. it does make for difficult courtship in the beginning but they are able to restart their relationship as two absolutely different people. because reader from the beginning of the burden of being is absolutely different than the one from the end. the same, obviously goes for osamu.

osamu also never goes back to cooking for a living! he does enjoy it as a side hobby, but he ends up staying on his pro volleyball path. he does leave msby after his falling out with atsumu and i think he finds himself on a division 2 league. he’s still good but a lot of time had passed since he’d taken a break and part of the reason he got a position of a division 1 team is because of atsumu.

akaashi ends up owning o.mo.ide all on his own. reader eventually hands over the restaurant solely to him and she does find her cushy it job so she can continue to spoil osamu just like she wished.

#reina.receives #i hope this answers your question #if not. i’ll try again! i do have this particular scene in my head #osamu’s still hesitant in stepping inside reader’s apartment when he finds out they used to live in it together. they’ve gone on some dates #already and the two of them awkwardly stands outside her door. akaashi is peeping through the eyehole as they speak lmfao. but the dates #have been good. they both know this. and this one was extra spectacular. they’re getting it down. allowing themselves the moment rather than #being latched onto by the past. and she offers if he wants to come inside. osamu has his hands in his jacket pockets and he waves them about #as he sways on his heel. he wants to. but is he ready? he doesn’t want to ruin already what they’ve had. but he decides to. and so he goes #inside. you’re opening the door as akaashi scrambles to act nonchalant. bokuto is there as well to lessen the awkwardness #and mumu has shown to hate every man that has walked through your doors. but at the sight of osamu. he gives him a stare that lasts minutes #and then he curls himself between osamu’s ankles before ricocheting off to cause some mayhem in akaashi’s room. mimi was never a cat that #*mumu #osamu fed. but it just goes to show. how osamu’s scent has stayed in your bed and in your sheets despite that fact that you can no longer #smell them. he’s been there. he always has even if you could no longer find him.

I just assumed Lily was at uni given her and Oscar are quite young. Most UK university courses start mid September to early October, last race she attended was Singapore (17th sept) so it adds up. I think most of the rumours originate from ig gossip accounts anyway, from anonymous submissions so very baseless in my opinion.

I’m not sure where but I’ve heard that she is close to graduating so she might prepare for finals or something like that (I have no clue how the school system works in the UK so forgive me). Very important insight info on uni courses, thank you!

a new attempt at me trying to sketch out ideas for my porcelain (faerie) royalty outfit that I’m putting together, all I have so far is the shirt, earring (it’s not even finished) and bracelet

i think the reason why skam france breaking mayla up for good in s9 is so crazy is that they broke them up in the trailer before the season even begun. like narratively this very much points towards a season where two people are working on mending their relationship with the payoff being them getting back together at some point. now if they had started the season with them still together and focusing on their relationship falling apart in the first half and them dealing with the fallout of that in the second half of the season things would have made much more sense storytelling wise

#skam france #then again they probably didn’t want to do a s1 remake but like #i feel like when you center a season around a breakup there needs to be some kind of payoff for the characters as well as the audience who #are invested in the characters arcs. and in the way they build that season it definitely should have resulted in them getting back together #and in the second case the payoff is the characters realizing that they’re actually better off without a relationship w that other character #which is what you earn from s1. but in mayas cas eig was her suffering from being broken up with for ten episodes straight while wanting to #better herself in the hopes that she might get lola back. which she didn’t so ???
