TIME TO DECIDE:
“Hey, mom—!”
“Hey sweetie, I just called to say I’m gonna be gone for at least another week.”
Shoulders falling, the excitement that you had felt seconds prior at the sight of your mom calling you dwindles into nothing. Her words hit you like a slap across the face — but somehow, you’re not surprised.
How could you be? This was nothing new.
“Oh?” You call out, forcing back your own hurt as you nod. “Did you make a break?”
“Yeah,” your mom laughs from the other end of the call. Her voice is slightly scratchy through reception and you honestly can’t remember the last time you actually heard her voice — in front of you, not through a cellphone. “This could do wonders for the company. And honey, it could take more than a week.”
More than a week.
“You’ve already been gone for two months.” You remind, fiddling with your bedsheets, biting your lip.
“I know, baby. I know,” your mom sighs from the other end. “Look, I promise you we can do something fun when I’m back okay? Whatever you want.”
“Okay, sure,” you shrug though she can’t see you.
You know it’s an empty promise anyway.
She’ll come home, be home for a day and then leave for another two months right after. It’s the same thing every single time, and every time she promises you the same thing. You know it, you expect it and yet you can’t help but get your hopes up every time she promises you.
“How are Eli and Demetri doing? Are they keeping you company?”
Stomach twisting at the sound of Eli’s name, your lips part. Your mom doesn’t know anything. Nothing about Miguel or how karate has seemingly taken over your school. She doesn’t know about Eli, how the two of you kissed, how he changed, how he broke your heart…
You want to tell her, you just haven’t had the chance.
“Actually, things have been—”
Your mothers name is called faintly from the other end, loud enough to cut you off and suddenly you hear your mom yelling back. There’s a pause of silence and then you hear her breathing next to the speaker again. “I gotta go, I’m sorry. Please make sure the next payment goes through. I love you, bye!”
“I love—“
She’s already hung up before you’re able to finish the words.
Sighing, you let your phone fall, collapsing against your bed as you stare up at your ceiling. You and your mother used to spend all this time together, practically inseparable — when your father died, she had to find ways to make money and that meant, prioritizing money and work over you.
You knew why she did it and you knew she loved you — didn’t mean it still didn’t hurt.
It’s why when you found Eli and Demetri and were able to make your first real friends, you’d clung to them so desperately. You don’t think they really knew it, but they became your whole world. When you’d go home to an empty house everyday, it was okay because you knew you’d get to see them the next.
And Eli… he’d come over plenty of times. Or you’d go to his. You’d do whatever, it didn’t matter — just as long as you didn’t have to go home to an empty house or walk through school alone.
Even if you were bullied. Even if you were losers.
Now Eli was Hawk and you didn’t even know who he was anymore.
Clearly none of it — you — weren’t enough for him.
The sound of your phone ringing interrupts you from your thoughts. Your first thought is your mom and you jump at the chance at being able to talk to her, only to be confused when you read Sam’s contact name instead.
Slowly moving to answer the phone, you frown; “Sam?”
“Hey!” She calls, voice slightly breathless, clearly nervous. “I just called to check in on you. You’ve seemed kind of distant at school and… well, I thought you could use a friend.”
Your lips part, touched that she’d have thought of you.
“Did you maybe wanna hang?”
Swallowing thickly, you’re unable to hide the smile that curls onto your lips. “Okay, yeah… yeah, I’d love that.”
-
“I didn’t know…”
Laughing lightly, you shrug your shoulders, swaying slightly on Sam’s bed. “It’s not your fault,” you shake your head. “I didn’t tell you. And honestly, I haven’t even really told anyone.”
Sam pauses, pursing her lips in thought. “He just started making out with Moon?”
Biting your lip, you nod; “I didn’t even think we broke up. Or I guess, I said we never really started dating… but, I mean I thought I’d made it clear how I felt about him.” Fiddling with the hem of your shirt, you glance down at your lap, feeling the hurt flood through you all over again. “I just thought he cared about me more than that.”
Reaching forward, Sam sets her hand on your own. “I’m so sorry, Y/N.”
You turn to her in surprise, touched by how genuine she sounds.
Honestly, you’d been apprehensive about making friends with Sam. You thought she was some popular girl and for as long as you’ve known her, she’s never said anything bad about Yasmine and instead stood there and watched. She’d laughed at things Yasmine had said. She’d even let Yasmine bully her own best friend.
You knew she felt horrible about that and you’ve seen her and Aisha rekindling. But then everything had happened at that party and you thought she wouldn’t want to talk to you because you were still Miguel’s friend and it was clear she didn’t want to talk to him.
And you still stood by Miguel — of course you did — but it felt nice that the one female friend you’d made still wanted to be your friend.
“The worst part is Moon is really nice,” you sigh, “so I can’t even be mad at her.”
Sam snorts, “yeah, Moon has that effect on people.”
“She keeps inviting me to go out with the both of them. Demetri too. Apparently they’re going to play beach volleyball and they keep asking me to join them.” Miguel had asked you too, but you make sure to leave his name out — knowing that Sam’s still hurt by him.
“Are you going to?”
“No,” you frown. “I can barely stand to look at him.” You admit while Sam nods, breathing deeply before deflating in defeat. “I seriously hate karate.”
Letting out a giggle, Sam shakes her head; “yeah, I used to too.”
Raising a brow, you tilt your head; “used to?”
“Well, yeah,” she shrugs. “I felt like karate ruined Miguel and I, but I realized it was really just Cobra Kai that did. Then, my dad opened back up the dojo he trained in as a kid, Miyagi-Do, and it’s really helped me learn a lot about myself and bring me some inner peace.”
Nodding slowly, you shrug. Then, you see this look wash over her, her eyes twinkling and you have a feeling you know where she’s going with this before she even finishes.
“You should join!”
Letting out a huff, you teeter on your spot on her bed, shaking your head. “I dunno… I mean, karate is what started all this. It’s what changed Eli.”
“No, no, that was Cobra Kai!”
Meeting Sams eye, you pause. You guess she’s right, in one way. You don’t know anything about Miyagi-Do but it was when Eli joined Cobra Kai that everything changed. That he changed.
“I think it would really help you,” Sam tries to convince you, voice desperate. “My dad teaches that karate is for defence only and—“
Her bedroom door suddenly swings open, making you jump in surprise as you turn around only to see who you assume is Sam’s dad. You’ve also seen his Larusso Auto adverts all over town.
He pauses at the sight of you, lips parting; “oh, sorry, I didn’t realize Sam had a friend over.”
Offering a small smile and a wave, you nod; “my names Y/N, it’s nice to meet you Mr. Larusso.”
He eases at your polite greeting, body shifting as his eyes turn to Sam. She’s smiling wide at the sight of her dad, “dad, Y/N and I were just talking about her possibly joining Miyagi-Do.”
Eyes widening, you tense as Sam practically throws you under the bus.
Before you can even argue, Mr. Larusso is stepping towards you, a hopeful smile on his face. “That’s—That’s wonderful! We’d be happy to have you, Y/N. Everybody is welcome.”
Thrown off slightly, you nod, “I-I don’t really have the money to join, though, so—”
“Lessons are completely free,” he offers, shaking his hands out before him, grinning. “No need for you to pay.”
Brows raising, you pause at that. That was… oddly nice of him to offer.
“She’s not completely decided yet, dad.” Sam reminds, noticing the look on your face as she turns to face her father. “I think it’d be great if she did though.”
“Oh, absolutely,” Mr. Larusso laughs, “nonetheless, take your time deciding. There’s always a spot open for you.”
You nod, swallowing thickly, unable to find the words to respond as you simply turn back to Sam. She eyes you briefly before turning to her dad, who informs her that he was originally coming in to tell her that dinner was going to be later tonight cause there was stuff him and her mom had to get done at work.
Sam nods, before saying goodbye to her dad, leaving the both of you alone once again.
You instantly turn to her; “I hate you.”
She just laughs, shrugging her shoulders. “I just think it’d really help you is all.”
“Yeah, yeah.” You roll your eyes, “I’ll think about it, okay?”
And that’s all she really wants to hear.
-
“You’re sure you won’t come?”
“Miguel…”
Letting out a sigh, Miguel’s shoulders fall; “I still don’t even know what happened between you and Hawk. Neither of you will tell me.”
Shutting your locker door gently, you shrug; “it’s nothing worth telling.”
“It clearly is. Since you refuse to be anywhere near him.” Miguel eyes you and you feel yourself growing uncomfortable — it wasn’t that you didn’t trust Miguel, you just didn’t want to pit him against you and Eli. You knew the two of them were close, especially now that they were in the same dojo and you didn’t want to make things awkward.
Or make him feel like he had to choose.
But, as you move to walk away, Miguel’s reflexes are quicker and he easily blocks your path. You huff as he does, hands falling by your sides as you glance up at him.
“You can’t act like it’s nothing.” He argues, “besides, I know he did something.”
“How do you know it was him?”
“Because you refuse to hang with us anymore and he’s with Moon.”
Damn him and his ability to be a decent guy and listen to you…
“We had a fight,” you explain, glancing at something to your left, to distract yourself — to make it not so obvious how much it hurts. “The night of the party, I guess we broke up? And before I knew it, I turned around to see him making out with Moon.”
Miguel’s eyes widen; “the night I got drunk?”
“Yeah,” you shrug, not sure why it’s such a big deal.
“You took care of me, drunk, when all that was happening?”
“Of course,” you say without hesitation. “You’re my friend and I had to make sure you were okay.”
Miguel’s face falls, a softened look washing through his eyes as he glances down at you. You flush slightly at the look, not having expected such a heartfelt reaction to something you felt like was natural for friends to do.
“I’m sorry,” he says after a moment. “I didn’t realize he hurt you like that.”
“It doesn’t matter,” lies, “if he’s happy, then that’s all that matters.”
Unfortunately, that was true.
Miguel just shakes his head and the two of you head off to class together — thankfully chatting about a different subject. But as you walk, you catch sight of Hawk, just across the hall, who moves to greet Miguel before he sees you next to him.
He falters, hand awkwardly falling next to his side, and you find yourself unable to pull your gaze away from his, that familiar pang echoing in your chest.
Then Moon runs up behind him, grabbing him in a tight hug as she laughs and instantly your eyes are flickering back to Miguel, quickly plastering a smile on your face at whatever he’s saying when he turns to you in response.
You don’t notice the pair of eyes that follow you.
-
A rapid knocking on your window startles you awake.
You wake with a gasp, heart feeling like it might leap out of your throat as you sit up, trying to focus on where the sounds coming from. It takes you a moment to realize where, until you turn your head towards your window and see a familiar pair of eyes staring back at you.
“Eli?” You question softly, confused.
You get up, pulling your sheets off of you as you move towards your window. You fumble with the lock for a moment before it clicks open and you slowly slide it up, feeling the cool night air drift across your body.
“What are you doing here?”
Eli doesn’t respond right away, he crawls through your window and it isn’t until he’s fully stood in front of you do you see what’s wrong.
There’s a large bruise across his left eye glaring back at you.
“Oh my God, Eli! What happened?”
“Me and Demetri were walking back from the comic book store when we ran into Kyler and his friends.” Eli explains, speaking for the first time. His voice is low and raspy and he starkly avoids your gaze, keeping his own trained on his feet. “They said hi.”
“Where’s Demetri? Is he—“
“He’s fine,” Eli assures, “he called his mom.”
Nodding as you feel a bit of your worry fade, you shake your head. “Why didn’t you call your mom?”
“I wanted to see you,” Eli admits softly, finally flickering his gaze up to meet your own.
“O-Oh,” you flush, fumbling for your words briefly before you shake your head, snapping yourself out of your own stupor as you see his bruise once again. “Here, sit on the bed. I’ll get a warm clothe.”
He listens without fault and you quickly rush out of your room, racing down the stairs to your kitchen, grabbing what you need before racing back up. Eli’s still in the same spot as you left him, only he’s glancing around, obviously taking in your room. He’s been over before, but only in the living room with Demetri when they’d come over for a movie night. He’s never been in your room or given the opportunity to glance around.
You blush m when you notice him eyeing one of your superhero posters on the wall, chuckling softly to himself.
He turns to you at the sound of your footsteps and slowly you make your way over to him, softly dabbing the warmth clothe over the bruise. He winces slightly but otherwise doesn’t say anything.
It isn’t until you pull the clothe back to yourself that he speaks; “where’s your mom?”
“Still gone for her business trip,” you explain, unable to fight the frown that grows on your lips. “She wasn’t supposed to return yesterday.”
“I’m sorry.”
“It’s not your fault.”
Eli doesn’t respond to that and a pause of silence washes over the two of you. He’s glancing around once again and you realize that you’re still blushing, butterflies fluttering in your stomach as you shift on your bed. It felt weird to have him in your room, but, you also liked it.
Liked being this close to him. Just the two of you.
“Does your eye feel okay?”
“Better than it did,” Eli smiles.
You nod, and then Eli shifts.
“I should probably get back—“
“You could stay if you wanted!” The words leave your lips before you’re able to process just what it is you’re asking. At the wide eyed, surprised look Eli sends you, you flush deeper, avoiding his gaze as you fiddle with your pajama pants. “I-I mean, if you wanted to.”
The truth was you just didn’t want to be alone, again, in your empty house like you always were. And.. you wanted Eli specifically to stay. You wanted to be with him.
“Is that okay?”
Shrugging, you turn to him; “my moms not home.” Then, adding, you admit; “and I’d—I’d like the company.”
A moment later, Eli nods; “okay.”
You sit up with hope; “okay?”
“Yeah,” he assures, “I’ll just tell my mom I spent the night at Demetri’s.”
“Okay,” then, pausing, you continue; “thank you, Eli.”
He flushes at that, pressing a hand to his face as he tries to hide himself. “Of-Of course, anything for you.”
A few minutes later the both of you are moving to go back to bed. He offers to sleep on the ground but you just shake your head, pulling your sheets back to signal him. He listens after a moment of hesitance, a deep blush on both of your cheeks.
The second he’s settled, the two of you are facing each other, the only sound being your breaths.
“Good night, Eli,” you whisper, voice barely audible. “Thank you for staying.”
“Good night,” he whispers back, voice slightly shaky. “Thank you for taking care of me. Like you always do.”
You just smile, letting your eyes slowly flutter shut. You fall asleep with ease, a weight lifted off your shoulders at the feeling of another, the warmth in your heart easing you to sleep.
Eli doesn’t fall asleep straight away. He can’t.
Instead, his looks at you, peacefully asleep, without a worry in the world and a small smile on your face — and thinks you’re the most beautiful girl he’s sure he’s ever seen.
-
“You came!”
With a light laugh, you make your way over to Sam. She’s stood off to the side from the rest of the festival, under one of the Larusso Auto tents that they had set up.
It takes you a moment to register whose stood beside her, but the second he turns to face you at the sound of Sam’s voice, you blink in recognition — Robby. Otherwise known as the boy that Miguel got jealous of with Sam at the party that night.
It seemed they were closer then you thought.
“Of course,” you shrug, falling to a stop in front of them. “You asked me to.”
Sam just grins widely, but then pauses as she notices both you and Robby glancing at one another. “Y/N, this is Robby. Robby, this is—”
“I remember,” Robby cuts in. “We met briefly the night of that party down at the beach.” He pauses briefly, before adding. “Miguel’s friend.”
There’s a certain judgement to his voice as he says Miguel’s name, your eyes narrowing briefly before you push it aside. To be fair, Miguel had been drunk that night and had attacked without thought all because he was jealous and upset.
In all honesty, Robby hadn’t really done anything to deserve that. You understood Miguel’s feelings and his rash thinking — but, Robby and Sam hadn’t really been doing anything.
“Yeah,” you nod, putting your hands into the pockets of your jeans. There’s an moment of awkward silence and you know you’re not wanted. “Anyways, I’ll leave you to it, Sam,” your eyes flicker to her whose watching apprehensively. “I’ll make sure to watch you guys though later tonight.”
You send a soft smile and a wave before moving to walk off.
“That was rude, Robby.” Sam turns to him, a frown on her lips. “Y/N’s really nice. And it’s not her fault that Miguel did what he did. She was just being a good friend to him.”
He just shrugs.
Sighing, Sam shakes her head. “Well, I’m trying to get her to join Miyago-Do with us. So be nice.”
-
“Coming up next, do I have a treat for you! Please direct your attention to the Larusso Auto booth for a presentation from Miyagi-Do Karate.”
Shifting yourself around, you eye the booth with curiosity. Sam had practically begged you to come tonight for the sole purpose of getting to see a sneak peek of just really what Miyagi-Do was about. She hasn’t given up on trying to get you to join.
And honestly, you don’t think she ever will.
She promised you it’d be worth it and that what you saw tonight would change your mind about not wanting to join any karate dojos.
Traditional Japanese music starts playing from their speakers and standing on the booth, you see Robby, Sam and her father darkened by the lights to give off a shadowed effect. Everyone falls silent as their performance starts, shifting from different karate positions in a slow and dedication persision.
Once they land a pose with the beat of the music, a series of claps echo.
The lights turn on and Mr. Larusso has a bo in his hands, he does a few tricks with it before Sam and Robby begin to circle around him.
They attack simultaneously, showing off a few cool moves that are impressive. At this point, you know what karate looks like and have had a taste of it watching Miguel, Hawk and the rest of Cobra Kai fight in the All Valley tournament. You’d also seen a bit of Miyagi-Do from Robby, but he was much more proficient in the art now.
The moves were so different than Cobra Kai. So… calm and precise but still effective.
Honestly, when Sam had asked you to watch her this evening, you thought you’d feel much of the same that you do about Cobra Kai and karate in general. You were, quite honestly, sick of it — having lost one of you best friends and the boy you loved to it.
Karate had done nothing but ruin your life and even though Sam kept asking you, you had no intention of joining.
But this? This was different. Felt different. This was calm, peaceful, but still interesting and striking. You felt yourself unable to look away as you watched their performance, enthralled by what you were seeing.
By how much of an opposite it was to Cobra Kai. Less aggressive, less about beating your opponent and more about being able to defend yourself. Protect yourself. It wasn’t karate necessarily aimed to look amazing or cool, but it was still as fascinating — the way all three of them moved… you’d never seen anything like it.
“Now time for the Grand Finale.” Mr. Larusso announces, bowing slightly.
Robby and Sam walk off stage, Mr. Larusso walking off briefly to push on a cart. On it was ice slabs placed vertically in slots.
But just before he’s finished rolling the cart onto the stage, the lights suddenly cut out and the familiar chanting of “Cobra Kai” echoes, pulling yours and everyone’s attention behind you as you see, of course Miguel and Hawk up front and leading the line, the entirety of the Cobra Kai dojo marching in.
Effectively interrupting Mr. Larusso and Miyago-Do’s performance.
It with ease catches the attention of everyone, the entire crowd shifts back over to the main stage where Miguel, Hawk and the rest of the students begin to compete against one another to show off their skills, then moving to other demonstrations of their skills and strengths. Like breaking boards and doing flips.
The complete opposite to Sam’s performance. Rock music blared while lights flashed, the whole performance targeted towards gaining attention. People, especially kids your age, were a lot more likely to want to watch a performance like that then Sam’s.
Purely because it looked more ‘bad*ss’.
You watch with a frown, still hovering near Miyagi-Do.
Then, Miguel’s Sensei walks up at the end, five slabs of concrete lined up horizontally. He calls out for his students to ‘light it up’, and for added effect, they add flames to the top of the first slab of concrete.
He, of course, breaks all of them with ease.
When the crowd starts chanting Cobra Kai, you manage the courage to look to your left. Sam and Robby look devastated, their moment to show off their moves and their dojo interrupted by Cobra Kai, but it’s Mr. Larusso who looks the most upset. A look of defeat in his eyes as he watches Cobra Kai steal all the glory and attention.
It’s heartbreaking.
You know what you have to do. You’d made your decision the second you’d seen the way all of them moved. It felt impossible to avoid karate now, not when it was so clearly taking over your life in different ways one by one -- and in the end, wasn’t it better to join it when you made the decision to? When you wanted to?
As who assume is Sam’s mom walks up and pulls Mr. Larusso off the stage with an arm around his shoulder, you step up in turn, stopping in front of Sam and Robby.
“Okay,” you say after a moment, pulling Sam’s eyes on you as Robby blinks at you. “I’ll do it. I’ll join Miyagi-Do.”
Sam’s eyes widen as hope floods her gaze.
“You might’ve not been able to get anybody else, but… you got me.”

The people have spoken.
Peaceful Hope’s Peak:
So this whole AU is based on the idea of the butterfly effect. One small detail can change the whole story.
What would have happened if the students had more time to solidify relationships before Monokuma started with the motives?
Hope’s Peak was relatively peaceful until that first motive was released, and even then Sayaka only acted on it due to fear and desperation. I think that of Monokuma had waited like a week to present the motive videos, Sayaka would have had a deeper and more genuine connection with the other students, and she wouldn’t have tried to frame Makoto.
So basically, the game starts out exactly the same, except there’s more time for the students to mingle and get somewhat used to life in the school. Makoto has a couple of rough patches with people (*cough* Byakuya and Mondo *cough*) but overall everyone’s been getting along. Monokuma presents the first motive, and Sayaka has her breakdown. This time, however, it’s not just Makoto who goes to comfort her. Most of the students are trying to cheer her up and support her.
A couple of nights later, Sayaka comes pounding on Makoto’s door, telling her story about someone trying to break into her room. She’s extremely close to convincing Makoto, but she loses her nerve at the last second and breaks. She tells Makoto everything and, because Makoto is like Jesus or something, he forgives her immediately. Sayaka goes back to her room, and spends her night jamming out with Leon like she had promised.
Time passes. No one else tries anything due to the risk being too high, and positive feelings about their classmates as a whole. Taka and Mondo start on their Gay Shit™, now with the added bonus of Makoto not being traumatized and also participating in Gay Shit™ with them. Mondo and Chihiro are also getting along really well.
Second motive is introduced, and Taka immediately decides to share his secret with the class so that the Mastermind can’t use it against them. Spurred on by this decision, Mondo follows his example. Soon everyone’s sat down with each other, revealing their secrets and talking through them one by one. Group Therapy ensues.
Time passes, and Monokuma is getting really sick of this Found Family shit so he tries again. This time the motive is money. Here’s how this one goes down:
Monokuma: Whoever kills another student and gets away with it gets 10,000,00$ how about that?
Everyone: …
Everyone: Anyways-
Celeste ponders it for a minute, but at this point she’s too close with Chihiro to really consider it, so she painstakingly let’s it go. (Outing myself as a CelesHiro shipper because the aesthetics are just too good)
At this point Junko - the real one not Mukuro because Junko was chosen as the Mastermind for shock value and I do not approve - decides she has been away from her sewing machine for long enough and starts working on projects for all of her classmates. This means MAKEOVERS because I said so.
Last ditch effort, Monokuma reveals that Sakura is the traitor because she hasn’t killed anybody yet. Sakura’s like: “I’m really sorry but like he has my family so I didn’t really have a choice. He’ll probably kill me soon, but I’m not gonna kill any of you.” Kyoko and Makoto immediately decide that this isn’t acceptable, and decide to try and put an end to the killing game.
Big ass investigation takes place and the students enter their first Class Trial, everyone is still alive. Things happen and the Mastermind is revealed to be Jin Kirigiri because he would’ve made so much more sense than Junko, and if a single persona asks me to elaborate I will.
Everyone makes it out alive, and this tremendous victory is shown to be a beacon of Hope to the rest of the world. The Future Foundation is established, with far more power behind it this time, and Hope’s Peak is turned into a proper sanctuary for people who haven’t yet fallen into despair.
Bing Bang Boom everybody’s alive and the world is healing you’re welcome everybody.

Find the whole DarkNoir fun here.
Based on this ask by the fantastic @drinkyoursoupbitch
Tumblr media
A/N: The last bit of the DarkNoir!AU (for now) naturally brings my favourite couple of them all. The amount of obsession I have developed for this version of them is entirely unhealthy, but what's new. Warning: dark noir world weariness, allusion to drugs and prostitution.
The room is crowded, the stale air stuffy with the stench of perfume and smoke. I know better than to mingle with the rich and famous. They suffer my presence among them - crave it, even - and yet my very being here is a testimony to both their boredom and their vices. They know it, and I do, too. What I don’t know is who is more disgusted by it.
The annual horse show - the start to a new season of gambling, a prelude to the vicious cycle of seeing and being seen and spending so much money it would comfortably feed a family of four in less than an hour - has just ended. The privileged few with enough money to matter have now assembled at the glamorous afterparty held in one of the most exclusive country clubs in town.
The privileged few, and me.
I keep to the side of the room, to the shadows cast by the twinkling chandelier suspended from the ceiling. Its fragmented light dances over the party guests talking about the day’s purchases and the latest gossip in a world open only to the not-so-lucky-few in attendance. I cast a weary look around the room. Through the haze of blue smoke, all I see are forced smiles on the gentlemen’s faces, and bored looks on the diamond-draped women clutching either their husband’s arms, their champagne glasses, or both.
So much glitz on the outside, so much dullness underneath.
Leaning casually against the wall, I find amusement in how the curious looks are dropped as soon as I meet them, but it is a grim kind. No matter how expensive my borrowed suit may look, I don’t fit here, and I know it. They know it, too, but that is what’s drawing their eye. I’m an outsider invading their secret circle, an attraction to be gobbled at. No one wants to admit it, but they are all slavering for their turn to talk to me. To do business with me. Money can only get you so much, but it can provide distraction and diversion to the vapidness of life - which is precisely what I’m here for.
I nod discreetly at the gentleman who has just left me with his head held high and a haunted look in his eyes, turning my attention back to the crowd who all pretend they haven’t noticed. Business has been going slow so far but I’m not concerned. The night is young, and people need their time to loosen up. It’s a tough business, riding out the high of spending thousands with a snap of their fingers. When they’re ripe for a new one, I’ll be here waiting for them.
The evening draws on. The vials hidden in the pocket of my jacket begin to dwindle, each replaced by a roll of banknotes that make conversation with the swanky snobs almost bearable, and the flirting of their bejewelled banshees slightly less pathetic. I nod obediently at the men and give the women with their fake smiles and real diamonds a deep look into their heavily painted eyes, every single time.
The things you do for business.
I have already given up hope of anything interesting but money rolling in when the doors open and a couple that is arriving late is led into the room. It’s the man I see first - combed back, sand-coloured hair, a suit more expensive than what I earn in several months, and a swagger that marks someone who is used to being made room for.
The woman by his side I instantly recognise. She is wearing a cherry red dress beneath a heavy fur coat, which gets taken from her shoulders by eager hands. The fabric of her dress - probably expensive as sin herself - shimmers in the light as she moves with a self-confidence that makes her look like she owns the world. Judging by the looks she’s receiving, she might as well. A tilt of her hand, the slightest raise of her red lips, and suddenly the light from the chandelier is rendered dull, and the gemstones of the women surrounding her have become lacklustre. The hint of a smile, and it’s her who lights up the room.
I watch as she follows her companion, accepting the champagne flute she is handed by her companion with a graceful bow of her head. He talks to her, and even from across the room, I can’t stop looking at the movement of her lips as she laughs. She puts her hand on him - well-placed, fleeting touches, never enough to raise eyebrows, always enough to not let him forget she is there. As if someone like her could be forgotten.
I know the man who has bought her company for the night; a lawyer from a well-established family. Rumour has it, he is in the run-up for a spot in the government. It surprises me that he risks being seen with her, out in public. But then again… what screams power more than a woman like her by his side and not a care in the world? Another touch, another smile. She has only eyes for him and him alone but even so I’m sure she knows that I am here. She always does.
As the music swells, the man takes her hand and leads her to the middle of the room, where other couples have gathered for a dance. She gives him a coy smile as he places his hand on her waist, the slightest bit too low for my taste. She shifts her hand on his body as they dance, not inappropriately but if you look closely, you can spot her fingers lingering, brushing alongside his arm a tad too slowly to not be suggestive. It’s an act she has perfected - the teasing, the game, the promise of something every man in this room desperately wants, including me.
Once the music has stopped and the poor guys bloodying their hands for the indifferent applause of the elite are allowed to take a breather, I can’t take it any longer. I slip into the crowd, making my way to her and her companion. I only look at him as I approach. I give him a small nod and a smile, my eyes fixed on his. It’s not quite a challenge but no subordination either.
“May I ask for the next dance?”
His eyes harden, the look in them resembling disgust. I’m not fazed by it. He’s been buying off me for too long to refuse me. He knows that I know, and I can tell how much he hates it.
“I don’t think this is appropriate,” the woman speaks up in her suitor’s stead, her voice snide and dismissive. I bow my head, my eyes finding hers. The look in them would be unreadable to most but to me, the spark in them is clear as day.
“Darling, don’t be impolite,” her companion says, the condescending smile people like him suck up with their mother’s milk forming on his face. “It’s only one dance, is it not? You’ll be back with me before you know it.”
“I’m counting the minutes,” she breathes as he kisses her hand, giving him a deep look from beneath her lashes as he walks away. When he has gone, she turns to me.
“Mr Amari.”
“Miss Jameson.”
I extend my hand and she takes it, allowing me to draw her closer as the music starts again. She smells like jasmine and mint, the silk of her dress cool beneath my fingertips as I place my hand on her waist, exactly where her companion’s hand has been.
“I’m surprised you’re here, Mr Amari,” she says as she lets me lead her into the dance. I raise my eyebrows fractionally.
“I go where the money goes, Miss Jameson. What better place to be than a horse show? I could say the same of you,” I add after a moment. “You have been gone for quite some time. A peculiar choice of event to make your reappearance.”
Her laugh is quiet and melodious, and I mourn its loss as she stops to speak. “Nothing but a return to the scene as a glamorous party, isn’t there? I missed the glitz and glamour.”
“The glitz and glamour missed you.”
She hums as she comes closer for a moment, not a second longer than the music dictates her to. I feel the warmth of her against me, and when she withdraws I have to stop myself from following her.
“What would be glamorous about watching breeding mares prancing around to be traded off?”
“Are we still talking about horses?”
“What else would we be talking about?” The smirk on her red lips has turned bitter. She averts her eyes. “Aren’t we all wares to be sold?”
“How so?”
“You said it yourself - everyone in this room has come because of money, one way or another. It’s what drives us, all of us.”
“Some of us,” I correct her, slowly spinning her around, “but not you. You don’t need this.”
“Don’t I?”
I tear my eyes away from her face for a moment. The man she has arrived with is watching us like a hawk, his attention like the tip of a knife grazing my skin. It’s as if I can see the tendons on the side of his neck protruding even from where I dance with her. He is ready to step in should anyone dare to claim his prize. I pull her tighter against me.
“You turned up in some illustrious company tonight.”
“I guess.”
She sounds bored.
“He might get into parliament next term. You’re bound to be talked about.”
She pulls a face. “It’s not ideal. Boss told me I could say no but what was I supposed to do? He keeps requesting me, every time he books with us. He wouldn’t let off, not even when I… had gone for a while.”
“He’d be a fool not to,” I say, but the thought of him singling her out like that makes me uneasy. I don’t like it, but that’s the deal with her, has always been. She’s a light too bright to look at, and the moths are inevitably drawn to her.
The dance floor has become crowded, and we need to watch where we step. I take the opportunity to pull her close, closer than I would have dared otherwise. She lets me, and I feel her body flush against mine, those curves hidden by her red dress, and the soft skin of her neck, beneath which her pulse is throbbing rhythmically.
Suddenly, she moves to the side, pulling me along so that I come between her and the eyes of her watchdog. She raises her chin, breath brushing over my jawline as she whispers into my ear.
“Are you coming home tonight? The kids are missing their dad… and so am I.”
Her words stir something I keep hidden deep within, yet I guard my face carefully. My eyes flick over the people surrounding us. They all seem too preoccupied with themselves to have noticed anything but you never know. We always have to be careful. So very careful.
“I’ll try,” I whisper back, my words not more than an exhale. “Make sure that you are, too.”
Her lips part to respond but before she can do so, the music stops. It takes a considerable amount of willpower to step away from her. Her eyes don’t leave mine as I raise her hand to my lips and place a kiss on the back of it. As she withdraws, her fingers quickly close around the vial I have pressed into her palm.
“Be careful.”
Her lips draw into a wicked smile that makes her eyes sparkle. It’s like the fleeting look of softness in them has been nothing but a fever dream.
“Worried, Mr Amari?”
I don’t reciprocate her smile. “Always.”
“I can handle myself,” she says and shakes her head. Nonetheless, the small vial with the clear liquid inside vanishes beneath the hem of her gloves as she does so.
“I know. Just in case.”
“Just in case.” She steps away, her perfect mask of indifference already back in place. Her eyes drop from mine but I know what she’s saying, a whispered secret forbidden to any ears but mine. “Wait up for me tonight.”
Then she turns, and all I can do is watch her leave. It stings, having to watch her and her cherry red dress walk away, right into the arms of the other man waiting for her. But as long as I know who she will be walking back to, I can bear it.
Even if only just.

Hi! Do you take requests for headcanons?
If so - what would each of the gang (Zeni included, cause he's part of the gang in same way, duh!) consider the most romantic Perfect Date ever (and I mean the kind of date they would be very much smitten by, even though they'd absolutely utterly deny it to the end of times)?
oh my god yeah i'd love to do some requests! it's fun to come up with opinions on things i haven’t even thought about before two bee honest SO LET’S GO
lupin:
lupin’s perfect date is any excuse to spend time with his arm candy honestly. especially one on one but that’s. that’s a different thing we ain’t gettin into that bit just yet THE POINT IS he's not picky in the slightest. the highlight is his company, not the location or task or whatever else
if it was up to him, he’d probably do the standard wine and dine at some unbelievably nice restaurant, y’know. keep it classy but also flex the fact that he can afford to do this (he can afford to do this because the only money leaving his pockets during the whole ordeal was a tip for the waiter. lupin’s a canonical tipper which is hilarious and very real of him)
but he has some hyperspecific romantic fantasy attached to any and EVERY venue.
jigen:
you know how this bitch is. he isn’t really the type to like, go on a DATE date. it’s more like “hey i’m going to the bar. you comin” even if he’s been with this person for years. date dates aren’t his thing
the closest i can imagine would be like. lovers lane type shit. you know? take the car off to some outta the way, vaguely woodsy clearing, park it, lay on the hood and just talk, still very casuaHAVE YOU EVER SEEN WAYNE’S WORLD? THE SCENE WHERE THEY’RE LYING ON THE CAR NEAR THE AIRPORT IS JIGEN’S ROMANTIC IDEAL. STUPID CONVERSATION INCLUDED
fujiko:
ok there’s two flavors here because is this her ideal date for romance or for money. that changes the answer slightly. if it’s money she loves the idea of just hanging on the arm of somebody at some nice, ritzy dinner party, she gets an excuse to dress up, eat some good food, and maybe walk away with a few careless guests’ wallets. but i’m going to assume you wanted romance
because of how (almost uncomfortably) familiar she is with fake, performative dates and the like, she (and never tell either of them this) is a bit like jigen in the sense that real love is very casual and understated to her, almost simple. like of course she isn’t complaining when someone’s she’s actually into is offering to take her to some fucking BALL or whatever but at the same time, the idea of simply just laying side by side with their head on her shoulder or vice versa is. comfortable. and she NEEDS comfortable let’s be real
goemon:
starting to realize how absolutely mundane and boring these answers are becoming ANYWAY goemon SAYS the same as the prior two. he SAYS the same. but really, deep down, the idea of setting aside a special time, date, and place just to be with someone he loves is charming to no end to him. not too picky about it himself as long as it's not too flashy
the simplest, easiest answer, but maybe the most true i feel is stargazing. it’s nice, it’s private without being claustrophobic, and think about the picnic possibilities my guy!!! plus, it’s quieter and more peaceful at night, so there’s less of a chance he and his date would be disturbed. i know i already said “its nice” BUT REALLY IT IS NICE
zenigata:
hm. i’m thinking.
we’re removing lupin as a factor in the context. unless lupin IS the date but EITHER WAY this is a “you have a whole day to yourself for this date wwyd” ordeal. and the answer is probably STAY AT HOME
HE NEVER GETS TO DO IT SO IT'S SPECIAL TO HIM. AND IT'S COZY TOO admittedly he thinks it's expected of him to do a DATE date but really. not to get too graphically sappy here. i think he’d be content just snugglin dude. he needs a break. maybe a good middle ground between what he wants and what he thinks he should do would be going to the theater?

Summary:
Cooper buys a hotel sight unseen and asks Blaine to run it for him over the summer. Only, the hotel is a health and safety hazard and Inspectors Hummel and Abrams are hell-bent on closing it down. Can Blaine spruce the hotel up in time and save Cooper's investment?
Rated M. Warning for the use of a rape drug in the story. No actual rape, though, I assure you.

Prologue
Thump!
Blaine woke with a start as he fell out of bed.
“Oops!” said his roommate, wincing sympathetically. “Didn’t mean to push you that hard, but you just wouldn’t wake up.”
Blaine groaned and rubbed his sore bottom as he got up, squinting at his alarm clock. “Tina! It’s three o’clock in the morning! Why would you wake me up at this hour?”
“So you could answer your phone. Or silence it. It’s been blaring off and on for at least ten minutes. You’re lucky I haven’t smashed it to bits yet!”
Right on cue, Blaine’s phone went off again. He grabbed it and tapped the Answer button.
“Hey squirt!” Cooper boomed.
“Don’t call me… Coop, why on EARTH are you waking me up in the middle of the night?”
“What? It’s not… Oh, hang on, time difference. Right. Didn’t think of that, squirt, sorry.”
Blaine sighed. “Don’t call me squirt. And okay, I guess you’re filming somewhere at the other side of the world again?”
“Yes, we’re working on that fantasy series for Netflix that I told you about. I’m in Thailand right now. Flying to New Zealand tomorrow. I’m having a total blast.”
“That’s great. Now tell me, what was so important you had to tell me right this minute?”
“Oh! Oh, just you wait, you’re going to LOVE this!”
“Uh-oh,” Blaine mumbled between gritted teeth. “What now?”
Cooper either didn’t hear him, or pretended not to.
“You know how you’re always telling me to stop spending my money on stuff like cars and tech, right?”
Blaine huffed. “And with good reason. You spend an obscene amount on gadgets. And that Bugatti is SO over the top.”
“Exactly!” said Cooper. “Well, now I’ve made a ‘sound investment’, as you call it. Real estate, as you advised.”
Blaine’s heart leapt. “Really? You bought a place in New York? And you’re calling me to ask me if I will move in with you? The answer’s yes!”
Tina put her hands on her hips and glared at him.
“Nah… No. Not exactly.”
Blaine’s sense of misgiving tingled.
“I didn’t buy a house. I bought a hotel. It was a steal, I’m telling you. I couldn’t pass it up!”
“A hotel? Where? Why?”
“Well, I won’t be this pretty forever, you know,” Cooper explained. “And then I might not get booked as an actor anymore. So I needed to find a back-up plan for when I stop being in demand. Talked about it with the guys here over lunch, and Sebastian Smythe, who plays my younger brother in the series we’re filming, said he had a hotel he could sell me. I kind of like the thought of offering people a nice vacation, you know. A home away from home. Maybe I could do a one-man show after dinner. Like they do on cruises. Doesn’t that sound amazing?”
“Yes, yes, that’s all very well, but you’re still filming now. So who’s going to run the hotel?”
“Well, that’s where you come in,” Cooper announced cheerfully. “You’re done with your exams, right? And now you’ve got several months off. So you can go check out the hotel for me. See if the staff that’s in place is okay or needs to be replaced.”
“Coop, are you insane?”
“Think of it as a free vacation, squirt. I’m sure the staff will pamper you once they find out you’re the brother of the new owner!”
Blaine shook his head slowly in disbelief. “Have you even SEEN the place before you bought it?”
“On the website, yes. It looks great!”
“Ugh, Coop! So you saw a couple of pretty pictures on a website and shelled out a fortune sight unseen? How can you be sure the place even exists?”
Cooper chuckled. “Well, of course it exists! The previous owner sent me an Excel spreadsheet with the bookings. It’s booked solid for the rest of the year already! Just think what a fortune I’m going to make!”
Blaine tugged at his curls in frustration, repressing an ungodly urge to strangle his brother. “UN-BE-LIEVE-A-BLE. You are unbelievable! Okay, not everyone has a head for business, but I can’t believe you are THIS much of an idiot! Are you sure you’re actually my brother and George Anderson’s son? Our father would have a conniption if he found out about this!”
“I thought you’d be happy I’d followed your advice.”
Blaine could almost hear his brother’s pout.
He sighed, raking a hand through his hair again.
“I know you meant well. But… Buying a place without even visiting it first is not a good idea, and that’s putting it mildly. There could be all sorts of things wrong with it. If you say you didn’t pay much, that’s quite likely, in fact. This ‘investment’ of yours may be just as useless as that Nintendo Wii Supreme you just had to have.”
“Hey! It’s not useless! I’ve used it a lot!” Cooper protested. “And I’m sure it’s all on the up and up. As I said, the pics on the website look fantastic!”
Blaine pinched the bridge of his nose and suppressed another sigh. Talking to Cooper was very much like talking to a toddler, sometimes.
“Coop … Anyone can copy-paste a couple of nice pictures onto a website. That doesn’t prove anything. Did the realtor give you a virtual tour?”
“Uhm… No.”
“Did you pay someone to do a thorough inspection of the property before you bought it?”
“No.”
“Please tell me that the offer you made had a home inspection contingency, at least?”
“Uhm… No idea.”
Blaine’s voice rose an octave. “A title contingency, to make sure no-one else can claim the property?”
“I don’t know.”
“Did you even so much as look the hotel up on TripAdvisor to see if it had good reviews?”
“Nope, didn’t think of that.”
“Oh, Coop…” Blaine groaned. “What a mess! You need to go there, stat, and check the property from top to bottom. You actually bought it already, right? It’s not just an offer you can withdraw?”
“It’s mine, yes. I signed a contract. But you know I can’t go check the property right now. I’m heading to New Zealand tomorrow, and I’m needed there for at least six more weeks.”
Blaine let his head down, overwhelmed. “Ugh… I’m not awake enough for this. Coop, send me all the info, and the contract, by e-mail. I’ll look it over and see what our options are.”
“I knew I could count on you, squirt. Thanks a lot. I’ll send you everything. And now I’ll let you sleep. Sorry again for waking you up, and talk to you later!”
Cooper rang off, and Blaine was left staring at the phone in his hands in bewilderment.
Tina cocked her head to the side. “So… Your brother bought a hotel? Just like that?”
Blaine nodded. “Just like that. And then recruited me to sort everything out for him. Oh, this is going to be a disaster!”
“Why are you in such a panic about this, Blainey Days? Surely, your brother wouldn’t let himself be duped?”
Blaine groaned. “Oh, yes, he would!”
He patted Tina on the arm. “But that’s my problem, not yours. You can go back to bed, and I’m sorry my idiot brother woke you up like that. I’ll make you pancakes in the morning to make up for it, okay?”
“Okay. G’night.”
Blaine wearily shuffled back to his bed, and was out like a light.
By six a.m., though, he was awake again, worrying.
After half an hour of tossing and turning, he got up quietly and started up his computer.
Cooper had sent the files, as requested.
The contract did not have a home inspection contingency nor a title contingency, as Blaine had feared.
The hotel wasn’t in a nice touristy location. It was in the middle of nowhere. A place called Lima, Ohio.
Also, the hotel had certainly not been a “steal”. Cooper must have sunk a lot of capital into it.
The photos on the website did look good, yes, but as soon as Blaine checked the reviews about the hotel on TripAdvisor, he knew they had to be fake.
All of the reviews were negative. And it was bad. Worse even than Blaine had feared.
The mildest complaint was one about the lack of free Wi-Fi. It went steadily downhill from there.
Guests complained about the hotel being overbooked. About dirty and stinky rooms. About a faulty outlet that fried their shaver. About bed bugs and cockroaches. About leaking taps that kept them up all night. About wanting a nice hot shower and only getting freezing cold water. About noisy neighbours that kept them up all night because the walls were so flimsy you could hear everything through them. About beds that creaked with every move they made and mattresses so old and thin their back was in knots. About sweltering heat in summer and bone-deep cold in winter, because the air conditioning units didn’t work. About the stale bread and lukewarm coffee they got for breakfast. About seeing mice in the restaurant. About rude staff that would come into their room without even knocking or that were accused of stealing money and a phone charger. About the lack of elevators and ramps for wheelchairs. And a blind person complained about their assistance dog not being let in.
When he’d read all of the scathing reviews, Blaine let out his breath in a big woosh.
Oh, Cooper, what have you done now?
Blaine felt like banging his head on the table in frustration, but refrained, choosing to get started on the pancakes instead.
When Tina emerged from her bedroom and saw how unhappy her roommate looked, she steered him towards a kitchen chair to give him a shoulder massage, saying, “Tell me all about it, Bee.”
So Blaine told her everything.
She whistled low. “I know the place. I grew up in Lima. And that hotel was where I lost my virginity after prom.”
Blaine shuddered. “TMI!”
Tina laughed. “Oh please! That’s something everyone does in high school. Get over yourself!”
Blaine wouldn’t meet her eyes, thinking of the only school dance he’d ever been to and how that had ended.
“Not everyone,” he mumbled.
“Well, anyway,” said Tina, “the place was a dump even then. I’d say sell it again immediately. But who’s going to want it? And even if someone does, they’ll pay a lot less than your brother did, so he’ll lose a lot of money.”
“Yep.”
“Can he afford to lose that much money?”
“Nope.”
Tina clacked her tongue. “Then we’ll have to do what we can to save the situation.”
“We?”
Tina put her hands on her hips. “Yes, well, unlike SOME people, I believe in roommate solidarity. Don’t think I didn’t hear you, telling Cooper you’d move in with him!”
“I meant for you to come with me, of course,” Blaine tried weakly, but Tina wasn’t having it, sending him a fierce glare.
Blaine looked down and swallowed, remembering how happy he’d been for a moment before Cooper had dashed his hopes. “Sorry. I just… I saw myself living in one of those pretty brownstones, and I jumped the gun. Sorry. As it happens, you don’t need to be scared I’ll leave you in the lurch. If I want a brownstone, I’ll have to buy one with my own money one day. Cooper’s proved once again that I shouldn’t count on him. And I was a fool to think I could, even for a split second. He’s an idiot, and all he ever does is make my life difficult. I should know that by now. He’s proved it so many times.”
“Aww, don’t be so hard on him.”
Blaine put a pancake on his plate and drowned it in syrup. Then he started shovelling big bites into his mouth, chewing with vigour and determinedly not looking at Tina.
“Blaine, don’t be like that. He made a mistake. We all do that, don’t we?”
Blaine swallowed a piece of pancake and retorted, “Our mistakes don’t cost millions of dollars. That’s the difference.”
“Well, he’ll make more millions, won’t he? How much does he get for that acting job he’s doing now?”
Blaine shrugged. “Dunno. But it had better be a lot, if we’re to renovate the hotel he bought. Let me first check with Monique if we can get that contract voided, though. I don’t think we’ll be that lucky, but it won’t hurt to check.”
“Who’s Monique?”
“She works for my father,” Blaine clarified. “Has done so for years. She’s like part of the family. I’ve known her since I was very little. Played with her daughter in my father’s office.”
“Hmm, so how could she help you? And why would she?”
“Monique has a soft spot for me,” Blaine smiled, thinking of all the scrapes with his father she’d gotten him out of. “And she knows this stuff like the back of her hand. She does everything that’s to do with real estate for my father. Buying, selling, finding contractors for renovation works, buying furniture for buildings, you name it, she does it.”
Tina cocked her head to the side. “Why didn’t Cooper contact her then, if he wanted to buy a hotel?”
“Coop’s more of a split-second decision kind of guy,” Blaine told her. “Never looks before he leaps. And then he looks to me to solve the problems he’s created. It’s exhausting.”
“You’d think he were the younger brother,” Tina giggled.
“Yep. He’s almost forty, but he still has the impulse control of a four-year-old.”
After breakfast and doing the dishes, Blaine called Monique and explained the situation, sending her all the documents. She confirmed what he thought – there was no backing out of the contract anymore.
Ugh.
“Could you check if the place is Cooper’s outright, please?” Blaine asked. “Seeing as there’s no title contingency, there’s no knowing who else might have a claim on it.”
“I’ll look into it,” Monique said, “but I don’t think you need to worry about that.”
“Oh, and please don’t tell our father about this, Monique, okay?” Blaine implored her. “He’d go ballistic, and even though Coop is a moron, I don’t want him dead.”
Monique laughed and promised not to breathe a word about it to Mr. Anderson. “And if you need any help fixing the place up, you know who to call. Glad to help, whatever you need!”
“Well, the first thing we’re going to need is pest control. So if you know a good pest control firm over there in Ohio?”
Monique hummed and click-clacked on her keyboard for a minute or two. Then she said, “We’ve worked with Orkin, based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Did the job well. I’ll e-mail you their contact information. What else?”
“An HAVC specialist, a handyman and an electrician to fix all sorts of stuff, and a reliable plumber. Oh, and another thing… You buy loads of office furniture and supplies cheap in auctions, right? When companies go bust and their assets are sold to pay the debts?”
“That’s right. Want me to look for hotel stuff for you?”
“Yes, please. Furniture, mattresses, quality linens, you name it, we’re going to need it. Thanks, Monique!”
Monique chuckled. “It’s your brother who should say thank you. The things we do for that boy, right?”
“Right,” Blaine sighed. “Looks like I’m heading to Ohio for the summer. I’ll keep you posted, Monique, and thanks again!”

Kawaki Academy Arc: Kidnapping
Do yourself a favor and skip this episode. The only entertaining part is Himawari using her Byakugan for 45 seconds, and you can probably find a clip of that on Youtube. I made the mistake of watching the whole thing, so I’ll summarize the important parts.
Tumblr media
So the episode starts after school. Kawaki is on cleaning duty and can’t walk Himawari home, but that’s okay because she’s going shopping with Kae, and Mr. Battle Butler will be with them. The writers spend a LOT of time emphasizing how the kidnapping is in no way Kawaki’s fault because he checks on Himawari multiple times.
So as Himawari is leaving, she runs into Neon and Osuka. Osuka is in a bad mood because she feels neglected by her movie star mother. I’m not sure how the other characters can tell though, because to me Osuka was acting like her usual unpleasant self. But everyone is very concerned for her.
Neon leaves, and Osuka and Himawari barely manage to get 10 feet out the school gates before they are kidnapped. They then wake up in a warehouse and hear the world’s two worst criminals panicking because they kidnapped an extra child.
Tumblr media
The plan was to hold Osuka for a hefty, celebrity-level ransom. Himawari wasn’t supposed to be there, and now they’re arguing over whether they should release her into the woods, like she’s a baby crocodile that found its way into their gecko terrarium.
Osuka ominously states that her mother won’t pay the ransom, although why she believes this remains a mystery.
Himawari asks the Defective Duo why they've gone into the kidnapping business. The two explain it’s nothing personal, they just need money. They describe themselves as “losers” who dropped out of the Academy, keep getting into fights, and can’t hold down a job.
They’ve only been able to survive this far thanks to a man they call Big Bro, who is a super badass because he used to be a real, actual genin. Clearly, a man to be reckoned with.
Meanwhile, Kae and her butler find Kawaki and ask him why Himawari never showed up to their shopping date. They find Himawari’s shuriken necklace, and Kae concludes Himawari would never drop her things, so she must have been kidnapped.
Tumblr media
Kawaki calls Kae paranoid and says Himawari’s probably hanging out with Osuka, since he saw them leave together. They stroll up to Osuka’s conveniently close mansion, where a bunch of maids and butlers are fretting over a ransom note. They haven’t called Osuka’s parents yet because “they’re both working on set for an upcoming movie.”
Kawaki rightfully tells them off for having messed up priorities, then tells them to call her parents already. Then they run to Neon’s house to see if she’s also been kidnapped.
Neon’s safe, and we get some backstory about her and Osuka. Basically Neon and Osuka’s moms are old friends. Whenever Osuka’s parents are too busy to be with their kid, they dump Osuka at Neon’s apartment and ask her to keep Osuka company.
But Neon assures everyone that she’s not Osuka’s friend out of family obligation. Really. Osuka’s actually the nicest person once you get to know her. That’s why she sabotaged Kae’s cake with mustard and insulted her for the first month of school. She’s nice.
Meanwhile, back at the warehouse, ex-genin Big Bro shows up. He recognizes Himawari immediately and says he may sell her to one of the Hokage’s enemies for extra cash. When the Defective Duo realize who Himawari is, they panic even harder and say Naruto’s going to murder them. Himawari says no, he’ll probably forgive you if you apologize. She’s right, too.
Tumblr media
Once they bad guys are asleep. Himawari and Osuka slip their ropes. Osuka ties up the Defective Duo while Himawari battles Big Bro. She kicks his butt for a solid minute and gives him a Gentle Fist strike that makes him temporarily regret his life choices.
But Big Bro has an advantage over Himawari - he’s over four feet tall. So he picks her up by the scruff of her neck and start choking her in mid-air. Osuka tells him to stop and, to my surprise, actually offered herself up in Himawari’s stead. The Defective Duo also begs Big Bro to stop, hugging him by the knees like little kids.
That’s when Kawaki bursts dramatically. He squares off against Big Bro, who starts punching fireballs. But apparently if you’re a high enough level, fire no longer burns your skin, so Kawaki just jumps straight through the flames and knocks him out. Battle Butler, despite specializing in water jutsu, contributed absolutely nothing to the fight.
Flash forward, and we see the cops arresting the bad guys. Himawari talk-no-jutsus the Defective Duo into turning their lives around, and the police escort them off to the Nice Farm Criminal Rehabilitation Center Upstate where all the reformed filler villains go, to never be seen again.
Osuka's mother comes sprinting up and hugs her, declaring that her movie isn’t nearly as important as making sure her daughter is safe. Kagemasa, Osuka’s father, didn’t show up and is presumably still working on his latest action movie. But nobody mentions that.
Tumblr media
Osuka asks Neon how her group found the warehouse. Neon reveals Osuka’s mother had commissioned HER mom to build a certain robot. Remember the RoboMinion from the tea party episode? So not only is he rocket-proof, but he also uses artificial Yamanaka techniques to keep track of Osuka’s chakra signature.
Forget spending time with your kid. A mother who REALLY cares buys a military-grade robot to monitor her daughter’s location 24/7. And then she’ll put that stalking technology in the hands of her daughter’s best friend, who is very responsible for her age and will never break or misplace the robot ever.
So in the face of such foolproof parenting, what was Osuka mad about? Well, it turns out her mother had done something truly unforgivable...she’d thrown away Osuka’s favorite pudding.
Her mother apologizes, then tells Osuka the pudding was expired and would have made her sick. She then offers to take all the kids to the store for free pudding. And everyone lived happily ever after.

Mega spoilers for Mystic Messenger secret ending 1, episode 6 & 7! This is based on what happens in those episodes so don’t read if you haven’t played them yet. I take no credit for the story since I just added a character and changed the ending a bit. It also has a couple references to Vs route.
Also spoilers for Sevens real name and identity of Unknown and Mint Eye. This is a fic between V and a gender neutral reader. Kind of.
TW: gun, bl0od, death, cults, lots of yelling, mention of su1cide in the first paragraph (sorry I probably did this wrong), bad writing, V might be ooc too tired to care, horrible ending writing wise, not really proofread
Word count: 1.2k
Your brain couldn’t comprehend what was going on. So many questions and so little answers. Like how the hell is Rika alive when she killed herself a year and a half ago.
You can barely believe V had anything to do with this. Kim Jihyun has such a kind heart that it’s almost impossible in your mind, but here Rika was. The woman who created the RFA to raise money for charity had created a damn cult so apparently anything was possible!
You were angry, hurt, and god you just wished this was all a dream and prayed to wake up. But if anything, this was a nightmare. Saeyoung was hurt. Him, MC, and that brown haired guy were hostages. Saeran, Saeyoungs twin brother, was having a mental breakdown over Saeyoung being cleansed, whatever that meant. Rika’s a cult leader and V had been lying to the RFA for god knows how long.
Kim Jihyun. You were head over heals in love with him. To you everything about him is beautiful both inside and out, or that’s what you had originally thought. Zen was 100% right when he said that Vs beauty was comparable to his own. You yearned to play with his gorgeous turquoise hair. Staring into his beautiful eyes while cuddling together, whispering how much you loved him.
Before a few days ago you also believed his heart was filled with nothing but kindness. You loved him so much that it like you heart would burst and shower him in the love he deserves. You wanted to give him the world and spend the rest of your lives together.
That’s what you thought anyways. But there he was. Standing with Rika, dull eyes staring in Saerans general direction.
“He won’t be able to use his arm anymore. He’s useless. Just get rid of him. Paradise will only come once he’s gone…!”
Saerans shrill voice snapped you out of your daydreaming. His face was covered in tears and he was gripping his hair out of frustration. Rika was just glaring at him annoyed. “Take Saeran away. He needs to be brainwashed again.”
One of her cult followers agreed but before they can get to him Saeyoung steps in. “No… Don’t take my brother… stop all this.. if you touch my brother… I’m going to… I’m going to destroy you all…!” His voice shook, from both pain from his wound and watching his brothers breakdown. Saeran said nothing, just staring at Saeyoungs back in shock.
After the initial shock had passed Saeran went from surprised to distress once again. “You dare block me!? You dare?!! I’m going to kill you!!!” Despite Saerans threat Saeyoung just asks him to come home, before fainting from blood loss.
“Take away the one who just fainted! And lock up the other one!” Rika ordered her followers. They started to approach Saeran until he pulls out a gun!?
“Get away from me!! All of you!! Don’t come near me… if you do I’m going to shoot you!!” Saeran yells so loud his voice strains at the end. His hands were shaking so much it was a shock that he could even grip the gun. His eyes were going wild, he couldn’t look at something for barely a second before moving to something else. “My head… it hurts…”
“What’s going on? Rika.” Vs voice made your heart hurt. It had been so long since you had last heard his voice. You never thought that this would be where you would see each other in person again.
“My head… I feel like my head’s going to explode!!” Saeran cried in pain. Barely being able to stand up straight. Rika yelled at her followers to stay calm. She said something about a test but you had stopped listening to her, focused on Saeran as he threatened to shoot.
“Saviour, there’s no way you’d do this to me… you’re the one who saved me. You’re the first one to truly love me…! You never betray me! No way you’d to this to me… but you’ve changed… ever since that man came…!”
Saeran pointed his gun at V and you eyes widened. Vs face contorted into one of confusion, not realizing he was the target. “This is all because of you… it’s all because of you… that this happened to me!!!”
You scrambled to your feet, running to V. Jumping infront of him before Saeran could shoot him. Pain filled your senses as the bullet hit you in the chest and they let out a cry.
V called out to you in shock and you could barely reply, blood filling your mouth. “Ji…hyun”. Then you collapsed.
V put it together quickly. The loud noise, the smell of blood, your voice breaking as you struggled to say his name, and then the sound of you falling. He dropped to his knees on the ground and searched for you with panic, cursing himself for not being able to see you.
His hand landed in a pool of your blood. His eyes filled with tears as he felt your body. Your shivers made him let out a quiet sob, calling your name again.
Using their your minimal strength you tried to reach your hand up to Vs face, barely making it before he grabbed it after feeling it on his cheek. “Please…… don’t cry”. Your words just made him more upset. Your breathing was shallow and V choked on another sob. “I-I love you…… Jihyun”
Your hand went limp in his and V felt like his heart had stopped. He let out a cry of agony and begged you to speak, move, breath, literally do anything. He hugged you close to his body while crying.
“No! No no no!!! Please don’t leave me…!!! Wake up please! Oh god please!!”
V felt so selfish. He wasn’t deserving of your love and he knew this. He’d just taint you with his love like he did Rika, but he loved you too, so much that he could barely breath when he thought of you. He never said anything though, never had a plan to express his overwhelming love. It was just another secret he planned to take to his grave. Another one that had been exposed since MC joined.
“I’m so sorry! My love does nothing but hurt everyone around me…!”
V didn’t even notice when Jumins security came in. Only when he was pried off of your body did he realize and he fought back, trying to reach out to you again. He begged the security to let him hold onto you again.
He knew he didn’t deserve your love. He didn’t deserve the love of anyone. He was the worst and he’d have to live with that forever. Live with that even with his lies and him being an accomplice to Rika in the end, you still loved him.
The worst part was that he will love you until the day he dies. He’ll make himself love you forever so he’ll suffer everyday. Knowing he is the reason for your death. He deserved to suffer, to live in pain and torment.
“I’ll love you until the end of time. It’s the best I can give you after taking your precious life away.”

Personal life update below the “keep reading” link, posts about whatever the hell is going on with this season’s Taskmaster contestants will resume soon.
Well, life is happening. This weekend I’m going down to coach a tournament, for the first time in 2.5 years. A little more than that now, I think. It’s about five hours away, which is a road trip I used to do all the time. From about 2014 to 2020, I could mark my life by where I traveled. If you asked me how my last couple of months were, I’d tell you what city or town I was in every weekend, and what happened there. These places would sometimes be one or two hours away, usually five or six hours, occasionally twelve or fifteen. I was used to it! Spending so much time on the road was normal.
Now, I’m going to bed with my backpack already packed and my clothes for the drive laid out. I never used to do that. I used to just have a bag with extra toiletries and extra phone charger in my closet, and right before leaving I’d grab that and throw it in my backpack with a few clothes and go. Didn’t have to carefully think it through and pack the night before in case I forgot stuff.
It hasn’t been 2.5 years since I’ve been out of my city, or since I’ve done a multi-hour road trip. In that time, I’ve been to see my grandparents out East, I went to New York to see Nish Kumar (which seemed safer than coaching a tournament because I could keep my KN95 on every moment that I wasn't in the car or sleeping on my brother's couch, though given how few other people there wore masks it was still quite a risk), and a couple of other places. But tomorrow will be the first time in 2.5 years that I’ll be in a hotel, which is fucking weird. I used to be so familiar with those places. I used to spend such a large portion of my life in service stations and hotels.
We didn’t stay in hotels every trip, saving money when we could by crashing on friends’ floors or couches. I have one friend who runs a team in a city that’s near where a lot of tournaments are, and when it was available, he’d let my whole team sleep in his gym for free the night before competitions. That used to be fun. When COVID happened, that guy was one of the things I missed most. We have a long-distance friendship, as he’s about a five-hour drive away from me, but it didn’t feel long-distance that pre-pandemic, since we saw each other at events almost every weekend.
Not that we haven’t kept in touch during the last 2.5 years; he calls once in a while to give me gossip about our community that’s started to feel more and more like a memory, when it used to be where I had a real stake. There have been some quite memorable phone calls since I last saw him. The day our mutual friend died last year, he was the first person I called, and he did not already know, so I got to drop that news on him at 10 AM while he was at work. There were phone calls in which he started saying he thought some of the “COVID is a conspiracy” views of his fellow coaches might have some merit, and I fucking begged him not to start that way, because there are so few people in this world I trust, I've already seen the number dwindle over this and I can’t lose him too. He did, to his credit, stop before taking more than a couple of little steps in that direction. A year later, he was the one calling me to talk shit about the truckers.
He’s also been calling me this year to say the coaches from my team are telling him I won’t listen to them, but maybe I’ll listen to him, when he says it’s been two years and we’re all vaccinated and I need to stop hiding in my bedroom for my whole life and come back, and he wants to see me next weekend. And I always said I’ll try, but I never did, until this time. I haven’t even told him I’m going yet, because I wasn’t sure until today that I would, and I still want to leave myself the option to back out. But I’m almost sure I’m going. The ride is booked and everything. I’m driving down tomorrow with a high school kid on the team whom I barely know, and his mother, whom I’ve been told is lovely. That’s fucking weird. There didn’t used to be kids on the team I barely knew.
But then it’ll just be my best friend/co-coach and I in the hotel, which is nice. That’s part of why I picked this one as a way to come back – no coaches from my team will be there except the one guy I’ve known for 18 years. It’s been weird, fitting in to the new crop of coaches, some of whom joined after COVID started, but they know the athletes better than I do now. They know my own team better than I do. Figuring out how I work with them is something for another day. I will start with my best friend and I, the same coaching duo that ran that team for ages. I almost wrote “double act” there, and I guess that says something about how the lens through which I view the world has changed.
I haven’t told him I’m coming, but I’m really looking forward to seeing my other friend, the one who lives five hours away and never gave up calling me to tell me to come back, even though he hasn’t seen me in so long. I remember exactly when I last saw him. I wrote a post about it earlier this year, but the gist of it is that the last time I saw that guy was right before the finals of a championship tournament in early March 2020, when he pulled me close, leaned down from his 6 foot 7 height, and whispered: “Look, I don’t normally approve of showboating, but if your boy wins this match, he’d better make it rain.” Which is a top-notch sentence. I think all I really wanted from life was to set myself up in a way that someday, someone could say that sentence to me and it would make sense.
The tournament this weekend is about six hours away, in the town where I did my last couple of years of university. That not all it is to me; I’ve been back there many times since to coach other tournaments. But it’s an interesting place to start my return to any of those areas. To those various cities and towns that take turns hosting tournaments, that I used to know so well. At first, it was very weird to go so long without seeing them. Near the end of 2020 I seriously considered borrowing my parents’ car to drive down there and just walk around. Drive down in the morning, walk around for an hour, drive back at night, no need to stay anywhere and risk spreading COVID. Just see it, touch the pavement, know it’s still there. I may or may not have recently almost cried (only almost, it’s fine) while listening to Daniel Kitson tell a story on the radio in which he imagined doing exactly that during what should have been the 2020 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He wrote an entire show about how much more careful he was than everyone he knew, and even he’s started touring again before I did. Though he’s been sticking to outdoor venues, and that’s not an option for me. If my sport could be done in an outdoor and COVID safe way, I’d have done this earlier too.

My Summer Re-Reads
Since the pandemic began I've been doing a number of re-reads, allowing myself to get lost again in worlds that I treasured. Now that summer is here and I have some extra time, I plan to spend it re-reading a number of books. If you haven't read any of these books, now is the time, or if you have, why don't you pick them up again?
With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo
With her daughter to care for and her abuela to help support, high school senior Emoni Santiago has to make the tough decisions, and do what must be done. The one place she can let her responsibilities go is in the kitchen, where she adds a little something magical to everything she cooks, turning her food into straight-up goodness.
Still, she knows she doesn’t have enough time for her school’s new culinary arts class, doesn’t have the money for the class’s trip to Spain—and shouldn’t still be dreaming of someday working in a real kitchen. But even with all the rules she has for her life—and all the rules everyone expects her to play by—once Emoni starts cooking, her only real choice is to let her talent break free.
Pride by Ibi Zoboi
Zuri Benitez has pride. Brooklyn pride, family pride, and pride in her Afro-Latino roots. But pride might not be enough to save her rapidly gentrifying neighborhood from becoming unrecognizable.
When the wealthy Darcy family moves in across the street, Zuri wants nothing to do with their two teenage sons, even as her older sister, Janae, starts to fall for the charming Ainsley. She especially can’t stand the judgmental and arrogant Darius. Yet as Zuri and Darius are forced to find common ground, their initial dislike shifts into an unexpected understanding.
But with four wild sisters pulling her in different directions, cute boy Warren vying for her attention, and college applications hovering on the horizon, Zuri fights to find her place in Bushwick’s changing landscape, or lose it all.
In a timely update of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, critically acclaimed author Ibi Zoboi skillfully balances cultural identity, class, and gentrification against the heady magic of first love in her vibrant reimagining of this beloved classic.
Summer is also the time for re-reading series and I want to dive into these two again.
Want (Want #1) by Cindy Pon
Jason Zhou survives in a divided society where the elite use their wealth to buy longer lives. The rich wear special suits that protect them from the pollution and viruses that plague the city, while those without suffer illness and early deaths. Frustrated by his city’s corruption and still grieving the loss of his mother, who died as a result of it, Zhou is determined to change things, no matter the cost.
With the help of his friends, Zhou infiltrates the lives of the wealthy in hopes of destroying the international Jin Corporation from within. Jin Corp not only manufactures the special suits the rich rely on, but they may also be manufacturing the pollution that makes them necessary.
Yet the deeper Zhou delves into this new world of excess and wealth, the more muddled his plans become. And against his better judgment, Zhou finds himself falling for Daiyu, the daughter of Jin Corp’s CEO. Can Zhou save his city without compromising who he is or destroying his own heart?
The Good Luck Girls by Charlotte Nicole Davis
Aster, the protector
Violet, the favorite
Tansy, the medic
Mallow, the fighter
Clementine, the catalyst
THE GOOD LUCK GIRLS
The country of Arketta calls them Good Luck Girls--they know their luck is anything but. Sold to a "welcome house" as children and branded with cursed markings. Trapped in a life they would never have chosen.
When Clementine accidentally murders a man, the girls risk a dangerous escape and harrowing journey to find freedom, justice, and revenge in a country that wants them to have none of those things. Pursued by Arketta's most vicious and powerful forces, both human and inhuman, their only hope lies in a bedtime story passed from one Good Luck Girl to another, a story that only the youngest or most desperate would ever believe.
It's going to take more than luck for them all to survive.

Does watching the same number of prints raking in wagon-fulls of cash create you wish to give-up and throw your own computer out the window? Frustrating, isn't very it? But may give up yet! I want to share a few things that may hit your mind using excitement, however a lot of things will make blood vessels squirt from the attention balls. It seems huge numbers of people all over the world include a desire to be able to earn a lifestyle by simply clicking on a few keys on the computer. While PT Barnum as soon as said, "There's the sucker born each minute" and as a result an uninformed public is at risk of deceit and trickery. Within other words... client beware. I'm the true associated with a new "renegade". I shattered out from the particular "cult" of Expert groupies and I am just suggesting how that really is. It's about time you knew. "The Ugly Truth" There exists one particular simple fact that is painfully TRUE...... You've been conned, scammed and even screwed by almost all the Net Marketing coaching Teachers on the planet (or We call most involving them HOGS! ). Let me request you a question. Have any of these fancy rich HOGS made you prosperous yet? I hope so, but We sincerely doubt that! Listen up! My partner and i research lots regarding marketing online forums and even I travel just about all over the nation. I meet hundreds of people from Internet Marketing training seminars. The point is this; My partner and i have yet to be able to meet a solitary person who have developed any great riches by ordering simply "one" course or by using most of the Guru's products or perhaps by attending an online Marketing seminar. Without a doubt, some people may say, "He's excellent, I obtained "some" content material from him. " Other people might say, "He's so funny, he or she can really explain to a good tall tale. " But that's about it. I have never met any person who said some sort of particular Guru or any pack of Authorities made him abundant really quick! Of course, I call that like I notice it because We want you to be able to know I'm genuine, exactly like you. And I must warn an individual - these things is going to upset lots of people. It's going to make others totally angry... But the sole thing that's with regard to sure is of which what I'm about to reveal will certainly change the Internet Marketing community ETERNALLY. Should you could spy on the Gurus and discover their particular secret marketing methods that would assist you along with your buddies excel faster and easier - would you do it? Well, that's exactly how this complete thing started and am haven't stopped. I don't really notice any end to all or any the "real" secrets I will end up being collecting for me personally and my friends. My personal spy-work really works regarding all the correct reasons. If you want to get to the end of the Internet Marketing and advertising maze and locate that treasure upper body? You'll need an experienced guide who understands the way to get YOU there. This is all you should make money online: It's simple, ideal? *Get a domain and a host. *Choose a product. *Drive visitors your url or website. *Collect the bucks. If it can this easy, next why do you assume thousands upon hundreds and hundreds of people merged spend VAST AMOUNTS upon Internet Marketing e-books, courses and training seminars but almost in no way earn a cent? Second, can you agree the more you know about your organization or industry -- the more money a person will earn? This is common perception and I'm planning you can agree the answer is a great YES. This letter is meant in order to open your eyes. According To A recently available Business Survey -- A Whopping 91% of Marketers Who Attempted to Earn Funds Online Last Year DID NOT Earn Anything! Why? Here's A few Popular Reasons: #1 Procrastination #2 Insufficient Online Marketing Information or simple technology knowledge. #3 Became confused with overload associated with Internet Marketing data. #4 Received Bad or Out-Dated Marketing Info. #5 By no means learned exactly what in order to do to generate a profit. #6 Lack support/consistent updated knowledge from reliable marketing friends. #7 Quit and travelled broke due in order to high cost regarding IM educational products. I would like you to discover genuine broke-busting strategies. You could go from absolutely no to hero if you learn the correct stuff. My non-public inner circle regarding friends get real life strategies that work. I bet most likely also sick and tired of most the Bull Crap and big funds hype you go through and hear by some of these Online marketing Gurus. Aggravation may cause fear and even fear causes lack of hope. Be mindful: Most people happen to be conned by the particular very same people they trust plus "like". Don't be fooled anymore! That they apparently want a person to think the particular Internet is remarkably complicated because that evidently justifies their high priced e-books, outrageously high listed courses, e-books in addition to outrageously high listed seminars! Step-by-step method the Gurus teach over and over and also. 1. Get a service or product to market. Either promote other products or generate your own. second . Get a website - Build a 4-5 page internet site or hire someone to do this. Link merchant accounts. 3. Create 'good' copy and all the particular converting elements in order to the website. Turn visitors to potential buyers. 4. Get a host. Advertise or promote your site to potential potential buyers. 5. Track your own promotions. Collect your money and downpayment it into the bank account. Now, this doesn't sound very difficult does it? Well, that really is this specific simple. All typically the expensive Internet Marketing and advertising e-books, courses and seminars mostly offer information concerning 1 or more subject areas surrounding the over components in certain kind or another. ten Key Ingredients Productive People Have Inside of Common: 1 ) Affiliate with those that have confidence in you in addition to your ideas. installment payments on your Find the appropriate mentor(s). 3. Affiliate with those who else learn more than an individual in your industry of interest. some. Stay consistent and persistent until the goals are achieved. 5. Refrain from over-indulging in thoughts altering chemicals. 6th. Find a daily exercise you delight in doing. 7. Consider care of your quality of life by eating proper and take daily nutrients. 8. Giggle daily. Count with least 5 daily blessings at the end of every single day. 9. Go through and learn anything new with regards to your company every day. 12. Read or listen to something inspirational or perhaps motivational every working day. Which kind of power-group carry out beginners or irritated struggling Internet Entrepreneurs use? Not so good news! Many struggling Online marketers DO NOT have some sort of power group. Many marketers join very little marketing clubs; these people take a probability and buy e-books and even they visit advertising and marketing forums, etc . Underside line is this particular: Most marketers trip around and perform the best they will. Fact: You may succeed faster and easier when a person associate with those with like-minds whom share the same ideals and mindset. The BIG Myth! "Internet Marketing is simple in addition to You can Grasp it ALL in ONE PARTICULAR day! inch First of all of all that is a BIG lie! Good news : it's not while tough as an individual might think. There are no way of knowing your level of Internet Advertising and marketing experience. So, We try not to use sophisticated marketing terms. I make an effort to keep that simple. Website marketing is a new completely different "flavor" than real world marketing. When "Joe" establishes his hardware store within the deprive mall near your house, then he usually utilizes the different group of advertising and marketing and advertising concepts. An online business succeeds by utilizing Website marketing techniques and strategies. Using that said; Some online marketers can even so use real world advertising in order to attract prospects and some real life organizations are also using the internet to attract local prospective customers. "Joe" may also employ Internet Marketing to advertise his neighborhood store if he understood a few of the secrets.
Tumblr media
There are several aspects of Internet Marketing. There are a variety involving methods which can be used to help immediate prospects to some sort of website. You will not become proficient at using any of them immediately. Do not let anyone mislead you. Let's state it takes 12 "focused" hours to obtain proficient at virtually any one method. In case there are 13 methods, then it may need 120 centered hours of training. Most Internet Advertising is usually done every day or at least a few times per week. Either you should perform most of the targeted traffic methods yourself or even hire it performed once you could afford it. That sounds harder than it is... don't worry about it. That will all become crystal clear in the near future. Good News: Throughout my opinion, you possibly will not get rich over- night, but the particular INTERNET is still the best method to earn gains and the best way to become economically independent. If you aren't going to spend some time learning Internet Advertising and marketing, then it's necessary you learn the right updated methods as to not waste materials your time and energy and funds. The faster a person learn the methods the faster an individual earn a good earnings. Thousands of individuals are floundering regarding many reasons together with their home-based World wide web businesses - a single big reason is they simply avoid know how to handle it or how to get it done and many times they use bad advice. My private inner circle receives the particular best sources. Are You Allowing The Gurus To Steal Money From You.... Want to the fatigue gurus at their particular game? As a great affiliate marketer, you may or may not realize that although you are getting commissions from offering certain products, the particular gurus who's product you promote will also be earning profits. You will be sending traffic to their websites, best suited? What you probably will be not aware is this; You're actually assisting the gurus' build their prospect list and their particular buyers list! You are actually finding prime prospects in addition to customers and handing them over, and even the gurus can sell to them again and again (sale after sale), after you're forgotten plus moved on. In the event that you know just how, you can gain commissions plus assist build your own business at the particular same time. Halt allowing the HOGS to steal funds a person. But exactly what if YOU could turn the dining tables and keep most those repeat sales yourself? You will find a new secret technique My partner and i have never viewed used before that does exactly of which for you... really brilliant and NO affiliate marketer needs to be without it. My personal private inner group knows this magic formula. I want an individual to understand it also. Listen up. Typically the FIX is in! A Guru top secret you didn't know existed. Naturally, many of the huge product launch Gurus are in total communication with each other and usually schedule their product or service launches on date ranges that won't overlap their own buddy's product start. Many of these guys are generally portion of an exclusive "buddy" club that will dominates a large portion of the Web Marketing community. These people are very very careful about scheduling item launches as NOT NECESSARILY to step on each other's toes. Next in between their product launches they promote other firm products for huge commissions. It's advantageous since they can showcase their product in addition promote each other artists product using their own list; thus suck much more funds from the head. Make sense? That they systematically suck while much cash by the FLOCK while humanly possible in addition to on a consistent schedule. Are you angry yet? All involving these marketing strategies are not really random events - it's all thoroughly planned and choreographed as much because possible. Flock sama dengan desperate "unsuspecting" Internet Marketing Dreamers. When you've not been dwelling inside a cave, then simply you've obviously seen the actual "Gurus" and their followers are usually calling such occasions; PRODUCT LAUNCHES, best? This method typically the Gurus (Hogs) use is really not some sort of new trick - it's been around regarding years consist of aspects of business. This is one way it works. A good alliance of various "Gurus" are shaped - all with massive lists. These kinds of massive lists may hold an incredible number of critical buyers of websites Marketing and advertising products. In most groups this would always be called an business MONOPOLY - and even it could become deemed as illegal, unethical and possibly illegal. Does https://pkseo.com.au/seo-services/ of lower flock together" tone familiar? Ever surprise why the majority of the large launch products (courses) are priced typically the same? Usually regarding $1, 997. Could this be value fixing? hmmmm... let's take a not think nasty thoughts here. (smile) Magical, huh? Coincidental? No matter just what you think... it is very ingenious, don't a person think? Again, there is nothing incorrect with earning revenue, but when is enough - enough? Typically the flock becomes simply useful paying idiots to the Authorities. Sure, the Gurus say they enjoy their "sheep-like" consumers - but do they really? I mean does "he" really care in the event you build a multi-million dollar business just like his? hmmmm... I think not. I don't have the strength to stop the particular gravy train regarding the HOGS instructions and I didn't want to, yet I can at at a minimum warn people just before they fall prey to their barriers. Most of these types of HOGS quickly put unsuspecting prospects because they do not know how much time the particular people (sheep) can buy into their particular Bull Crap. Therefore, their concept will be; Strike fast and even strike often - Strike while the iron is VERY HOT!! Have you observed all of the product unveilings within one particular Guru "buddy" club? Every 3rd or 4th week an additional Guru or any HOG launches a fresh item? Let me ask you a problem. Show any of these fancy wealthy slobbering HOGS manufactured YOU wealthy yet? I really hope so, nevertheless I doubt that! I don't indicate to keep rubbing this in your face because I am aware you're most likely very upset not really earning all typically the big money might been promised. You have a right to always be mad. Here's some sort of helpful hint... NOTE: This is some sort of secret you have got to know: Peek under the hood of other super affiliate internet pages to find out what's working before you go are living. Steal the very best headlines and keywords and phrases to guarantee high commissions. Why conduct all the expensive testing - it's recently been done. Let's Get Real... Here's the bold truth! Exactly how Do The Hogs Wildly Succeed And even Why Do these cards By no means Want You to definitely Be successful or At Very least Not so Quickly? "Are you sick plus tired of experiencing how "easy" it is to help make MEGA bucks on the web, but can't discover anyone to tell an individual EXACTLY how to do it? Well, there is definitely a reason behind this. Think that about it. If you're being piece mealed to death! If enough of the particular "students" really mastered all of the true secrets or the exact secrets that opens the doors to achievement, then the Hogs would create excessive competition too rapidly plus Internet Marketing and advertising coaching "HOGS" would likely earn less money within the long manage. Their income might have to count on only unsuspecting newbies who by accident stumble into their internet? Make sense? THEY NEED TO STRING YOU TOGETHER FOR A SEASON OR TWO. Typically the Gurus must often leave you wanting a lot more! The Gurus plus HOGS request 100s sometimes thousands regarding dollars for their very own "can't live without" Online marketing courses instructions in the course these people give you sufficient information so you can make one more small step, well then about fourteen days after his buddy, who is also a HOG, launches his "can't succeed without" Internet Marketing product : he enthusiastically throws you a few bones of content and you're still remaining NOT knowing exactly what to do next, however, you did " forward so if you're happy but even now earning less than a homeless man. Finally being alone. It’s been a whole year lol. Time to get back to myself lol but I hope you are good. I’ve been thinking about you here & there. I’m glad I got to live all last year for once in my life or be free. I wanna say it was good karma just coming back to me after all these years but I think this year it’s gonna be REAL good karma. Idk if I told you but I met this stranger at Olive Garden, she was a host but the person I was w asked what book she was reading & it was spiritual book & her & I just start talking or whatever & she was like she’s been looking for a spiritual buddy to go to sound baths w & shit & I’m like girl ME TF. She’s 30 LMFAO but you can tell she’s really in touch w her inner child. She’s also a leo lol. I texted her but we haven’t spoken much probably cus she’s busy or idk & idc but it was awakening that I needed to get back into my spirituality. I’ve also attempted to dye my hair purple. Literally nothing happened but I could see a bit & it was fire. Maybe soon but ima just go black in the meantime again cus whatever this color is I don’t like it. It’s like a brownish/red like nah bruh. Im tired of my natural hair lol. Anyways I have nobody & im here for it. My soul was itching to be alone for a while now. Im sober too yay for me. I’ve been drinking again too which is good. Like my body can handle it cus idk if you remember I told you I would get sick so I just stopped drinking altogether but yeah now I can drink so that’s good. I haven’t been smoking cus no. Mostly because I wanna be more stable emotionally & mentally or I wanna get used to be being alone cus high me intensifies my inner world so if I am not used to being alone or at peace I’m gonna be thinking of the past & the past is what I’m tryna let go of rn. I also stopped w tarot cards because I used them too much & I noticed they would go missing (probably cus of that lol) so I was like well it’s not necessary rn & I should be more present & i don’t care about knowing. I’ve also been itching to go to the gym but I need a push or that right moment but it’s been on my mind like crazy. Maybe tmr (February 1st). I’ve been more disciplined w money too! LMFAOOOOOOO one of my biggest issues lol. Spending is a part of who I am lol. Also I’ve already applied for financial aide cus yes tf cus I already made the decision to get my associates in social work. So idk let’s see if it’s even gonna manifest if not then maybe I’ll make my way around it anyways. I know im not meant to overwork & it’ll all turn out in my favor. I wish I was rich & could not work but volunteer to help people just cus. The whole making money for helping people just doesn’t sit right w me 😭 but I mean I guess it doesn’t matter when that’s my intention in the first place so money is a bonus. Pisces midheaven tingz 💁🏻‍♀️✨. Anyways I feel good tho kinda. In terms of feeling like I’m human or healing. Like not on meds, having good mental & emotional health & energy to be present for a job, having energy to go to school & the gym like idk I thought I was beyond damaged tbh that it wasn’t possible for me. I wanna cry LMFAO. This song in the back tho. I’m listening to my old playlist. I wanna get back into music againnn. But yeah I’m glad I’m doing better. Unfortunately it had to take this long but im glad I can be healthy to enjoy the rest of life. It’s like living for the first time. Being a teenager for the first time, being a kid for the first time, & being an adult for the first time as well. It feels super good to have them all in synch cus I thought I lost my teenage years. I mean I did when I was actually a teenager but at the end of the day those are just numbers & im still in touch w my inner teen so dying my hair & everything feels good like I’m living it now. Im so glad I haven’t gotten my tattoos yet like I’m glad everything is happening at the time it is. It’s not rushed. I wanted everything so early but then I see everyone having everything so early that they get so tired of it so quickly or doing things early that they are tired of it & it’s like not for me!

"Do I look like the kind of person who can be reasoned with?" "….Yes?"
(A response to a writing prompt)
The pair sat exhausted, two bloody warriors on their last legs after a clash of flesh and beliefs. While their bodies were in tatters, their spirits remained, still powering through the pain as they eyed each other off. Their backs resting against whatever piece of wall they could prop themselves against. Grant smirked, the hero always smirking, even when he knew the weight of the situation he was in. The pair were both sealed away in the villain’s bunker, safe from the destruction the villain would cause to the outside world.
“They said you were getting old,” Grant said, trying to force out a laugh. His hand cupping his bruised jaw, feeling some sort of fracture along his jawline. “Didn’t know you could still throw a punch like that. Still, think this one ended in a draw. How about calling off that bomb? As a show of fair play?”
“And they said you retired. Yet, here you are, as always.” William could force his laugh, resting his head against the wall, letting those thin white hairs touch it. “Villains don’t do draws. Do I look like the type of person who can be reasoned with?”
“Yes?”
“You’re serious, aren’t you? Have you known many villains to change their minds? My impending death won’t make me soft.” Determined to show his strength, William went to stand, only for Grant to scoot forward, placing a gloved hand on his shoulder. Grant’s gaze went to the wound on the man’s stomach, silently letting him know that standing would worsen his condition. As William settled into the spot again, Grant spoke.
“Villains? No. Most villains are stubborn to the point of their own demise. I don’t see you as a villain, though. I don’t mean that in the typical heroic way of everyone can be redeemed. I just don’t see you as an evil guy.” Grant continued to smirk, furthering the frustrations of the villain.
“You don’t see the guy that’s planning on bombing a city as a villain?”
“You know that’s not what I meant. Shit, how do I say it? Shit, pardon my swearing. Pardon it again. I think I’m really on my last legs here.” Grant eyes fluttered, begging for sleep and still he persisted, clenching his gloved hand into a fist, trying to hold on to his last bit of life.
“Take all the time you need. I’m not going anywhere.” William shrugged, turning his head against the wall, staring at the hero. Grant was struggling to hold on. William was sure he had struck one of his vitals. His attacks were usually so precise. He hadn’t expected him to last ten minutes, let alone survive the time they were spending now.
“Heh.. That’s actually funny. It’s weird. You just don’t seem like the worst type of villain. Sure, you’re going to drop a bomb, but you also gave a good amount of warning. How long did you give them? A week? So, plenty of time for people to move without that fear of roads getting congested. A typical villain doesn’t do that. You wanted your needs to be met without conflict. Instead of our side looking for a peaceful resolution, they sent me. Now a city falls because of that. Both sides aren’t innocent in this.”
“Only someone psychotic would threaten a person without a reason. Yes, I hoped things would go differently. I wanted that money.”
“For what?”
“I hadn’t decided. There’s so many things wrong with this world, I wasn’t sure which to devote my time to. Food, disease, housing, the environment and everything else. Where do you even start?”
“No clue. I’ve never been a smart guy, that’s why they send me to punch things. I wish I had been. Some days, I would have loved to make a real difference. It’s not satisfying hurting people. It’s never been my nature, just something I was good at.” Grant lowered his head, closing his eyes.
“HEY. You haven’t convinced me yet. Wake up.” William snapped, pulling Grant back into the conversation. “I doubt it means much, but I’ve never considered you to be stupid. Intelligence isn’t only about research and theory. You’re more tuned into the world than most. I respect that about you. You’re one of the few I respect, Fair Fight-“
“Grant. Grant Turner. No point for dying men to have a secret identity, right? And you’re William, right?” Grant couldn’t gesture with his hand, instead, it firmly rested against his wound, sticking to the spot.
“William Reazna. Yes. Suppose I do cancel that bomb of mine. Then what? What do I do then?”
“What you planned to do. You help people. You won’t have cash. But you’ll have your life.” His sentences getting shorter, struggling to push out anything longer, those sharp breaths pushing the last flickers of life forward.
“What good is a city in ruins? I’ll stop it. There’s an override switch. I’ll activate it.” He slipped a hand into his green coat, pulling out a remote. When he pushed a button, a small tile on the wall flipped over, revealing a red button. “I kept it hidden, didn’t want it getting bumped in our fight.” William went to stand, only to watch as Grant forced himself to his feet. His back squished against the wall, using it to help drag himself up.
“I’ll do it.” Grant said, digging around in his pocket, grabbing a small sealed off tube, similar to toothpaste. He tossed it at William and walked towards the button. With each step, he kept himself leaned against the wall, using it for support.
“You had this the entire time? Why didn’t you use it on yourself? You insane, heroic idiot.” William stared at the thin cap on the tube, not taking it off yet. “Sit down, I’ll apply it to you.”
“If you stand. Die. Wound. Too. Open. I’m gone. You might live.” Everything was getting harder for Grant. His expression glazed. When he reached the button, he slammed his hand into it before collapsing face down onto the floor. Even in that moment of lifelessness. He still smirked.
“Grant? GRANT. Shit. Now you’ve got me cursing.” William opened the tube, pushing the gel out of it. The warm gel burning his fingers as he rubbed it over the wound. The sensation burned as the gel warmed, solidifying into a temporary seal. Not enough to heal the damage, but enough to keep him held together until he could find help. William steadied himself against the wall as he stood, looking at the deceased hero beside him.
“I don’t know what possessed you to make this move. Had you killed me, you probably would have been able to stop this without my help. So, why risk everything to spare me? Did you know something I didn’t, or are you too stupidly heroic for your own good? Shit, thank you, Grant. No one else would have given me a chance for redemption. I’ll collect your body when I have the strength to carry us both out of here.” He promised, bowing his head. Saying a small prayer for the corpse before making his way out of the bunker.

My partner and i research lots of internet marketing forums and even I travel just about all over the nation. I meet hundreds of people from Internet Marketing workshops. The thing is this; I actually have yet in order to meet an one person who have made any great riches by ordering merely "one" course or by using the majority of the Guru's products or perhaps by attending an online Marketing seminar. Oh sure, some people may say, "He's fantastic, I obtained "some" articles from charlie. " Other people might say, "He's so funny, this individual can really explain to a good tall tale. " But which about it. We've never met any individual who said a particular Guru or any type of pack of Teachers made him rich really quick! Well, that's precisely how this whole thing started and i also haven't stopped. I don't really see any end to all the "real" strategies I will end up being collecting for myself personally and my buddies. The spy-work works intended for all the correct reasons. If a person want to get to the finish of the Internet Advertising and marketing maze and discover that treasure upper body? You'll need a skilled guide who is aware how to get YOU right now there. Second, would you agree the more you understand about your organization or industry - a lot more money you will earn? Here's Some Popular Reasons: #1 Procrastination #2 Not enough Online Marketing Expertise or simple tech knowledge. #3 Grew to be confused with overload involving Internet Marketing details. #4 Received Bad or Out-Dated Advertising Info. #5 Never ever learned just what to be able to do to gain a profit. #6 Lack support/consistent updated knowledge from trusted marketing friends. #7 Quit and gone broke due to high cost involving IM educational goods. My exclusive inner circle associated with friends get real-life strategies that work. I bet you aren't also sick and tired of almost all the Bull Junk and big cash hype you go through and hear coming from some of these Online marketing Gurus. Aggravation could cause fear in addition to fear causes shortage of hope. Be careful: Most people will be conned by the very same folks they trust in addition to "like". Don't be fooled anymore! They apparently want a person to think typically the Internet is extremely complicated because that evidently justifies their very own high priced ebooks, outrageously high priced courses, e-books in addition to outrageously high costed seminars! Step-by-step method the Gurus coach over and over and also. 1. Discover a product or service to market. Either promote various other products or make your own. second . Get a domain - Build some sort of 4-5 page web site or hire somebody to do it. Link merchant account. 3. Create 'good' copy and the particular converting elements to be able to the website. Change visitors to purchasers. 4. Get some sort of host. Advertise or even promote your internet site to potential customers. 5. Track the promotions. Collect the money and downpayment it into the loan company account. Now, this doesn't sound very challenging would it? Well, this really is this simple. All typically the expensive Internet Advertising and marketing e-books, courses plus seminars mostly give information concerning one particular or more matters surrounding the over components in some type or another. 10 Key Ingredients Prosperous People Have In Common: 1 . Connect with those which trust in you plus your ideas. installment payments on your Find the right mentor(s). 3. Connect with those which learn more than you in your discipline of interest. some. Stay consistent and persistent until your own goals are attained. 5. Refrain coming from over-indulging in mind altering chemicals. 6th. Find a day-to-day exercise you enjoy doing. 7. Consider care of your wellbeing by eating appropriate and take day-to-day nutrients. 8. Laugh each day. Count from least 5 daily blessings in late every day. 9. Study and learn some thing new with regards to your business every day. 12. Read or listen to something inspirational or motivational every day time. What kind of power-group carry out beginners or frustrated struggling Internet Internet marketers use? Not so good news! The majority of struggling Web marketers CARRY OUT NOT have some sort of power group. Some marketers join little marketing clubs; that they take a chance and buy e-books and they visit advertising and marketing forums, and so forth Bottom part line is this specific: Most marketers stumble around and carry out the best they can. Fact: You will succeed faster and even easier when a person associate with people that have like-minds whom talk about the same ideals and mindset. Typically the BIG Myth! "Internet Marketing is Easy and even You can Expert it ALL in 1 day! digital marketing of all that is a BIG sit! Good news -- it's not while tough as a person might think. I possess no way regarding knowing your level of Internet Advertising experience. So, My partner and i try not to use superior marketing terms. I actually try to keep this simple. Online marketing is a completely different "flavor" than real planet marketing. When "Joe" establishes his hardware store inside the strip mall near the house, then he usually utilizes a new different pair of advertising and advertising principles. A business online succeeds by utilizing Website marketing methods and strategies. With that said; Many online businesses can even now use actual marketing in order in order to attract prospects and even some real world organizations are also employing the internet to be able to attract local prospective customers. "Joe" also can use Internet Marketing to promote his neighborhood hardware store if he recognized a few involving the secrets. There are various aspects of Net Marketing. There are many involving methods that may be applied to help direct prospects to a new website. You may not become experienced at using any kind of of them right away. Do not let anyone trick you. Let's point out it takes 10 "focused" hours to obtain proficient at any one method. In case there are 12 methods, then that might require 120 concentrated hours of practice. Most Internet Marketing and advertising is usually done every day or perhaps at least several times per week. Either you have to perform the majority of of the traffic methods yourself or perhaps hire it performed once you may afford it. This sounds harder than what it is... may concern yourself with it. This will all turn into crystal clear in the near future. Good News: Throughout my opinion, you possibly will not get rich over- night, but typically the INTERNET is even so the best approach to earn profit margins and the best way to become fiscally independent. If most likely going to spend some time learning Internet Marketing and advertising, then it's imperative you learn the correct updated methods while to not spend your time and efforts and funds. The faster a person learn the strategies the faster a person earn a decent salary. Thousands of men and women are floundering for many reasons together with their home-based Web businesses - one big reason will be they simply may know how to handle it or even how to get it done and many periods each uses bad suggestions. My private inner circle receives the particular best sources. Are usually You Allowing Typically the Gurus To Steal Money From An individual.... Want to beat the gurus at their very own game? As a good affiliate marketer, seo experts realize that whilst you are earning commissions from marketing certain products, the particular gurus who's product you promote will also be earning profits. You are sending traffic to be able to their websites, right? Everything you probably are not aware is definitely this; You're truly assisting the gurus' build their possibility list and their buyers list! An individual are actually getting prime prospects plus customers and handing them over, plus the gurus are selling to them again and again (sale after sale), after you're forgotten and moved on. In case you know precisely how, you can gain commissions plus assist build your individual business at the same time. End allowing the HOGS to steal funds a person. But just what if YOU can turn the tables and keep all those repeat product sales yourself? You will find a new secret technique My partner and i have never observed used before that does exactly of which for you... really brilliant and NOT ANY affiliate marketer ought to be without it. My private inner group knows this key. I want a person to are aware of it also. Listen up. Typically the FIX is inside! A Guru secret you didn't understand existed. Naturally, most of the major product launch Experts are in complete communication with every single other and generally schedule their product launches on times that won't overlap their buddy's product launch. A few of these guys are part of a personal "buddy" club that dominates a big part of the Internet Marketing community. They will are very mindful about scheduling product launches as NOT to stomp every single other's toes. After that in between their very own product launches these people promote other firm products for large commissions. It's helpful because they can market their product in addition promote each other peoples product using their very own own list; hence suck much more funds from the head. Make sense? That they systematically suck while much cash by the FLOCK since humanly possible in addition to on a consistent basis. Are you crazy yet? All involving these marketing campaigns are not really random events instructions it's all carefully planned and choreographed as much as possible. Flock sama dengan desperate "unsuspecting" Web Marketing Dreamers. If you've not been residing inside a cave, then you've obviously seen wht is the "Gurus" in addition to their followers are really calling such situations; PRODUCT LAUNCHES, best? This method typically the Gurus (Hogs) 2 really not a new trick : novice around with regard to years consist of aspects of business. This is the way it works. The alliance of several "Gurus" are produced - all with massive lists. These kinds of massive lists may hold an incredible number of significant buyers of sites Advertising and marketing products. In most groups this would be called an market MONOPOLY - and it could become deemed as illegal, unethical and probably illegal. Does the phrase "Birds of feather flock together" noise familiar? Ever wonder why most of the huge launch products (courses) are priced the particular same? Usually regarding $1, 997. May this be value fixing? hmmmm... let's take a not think wicked thoughts here. (smile) Magical, huh? Coincidental? No matter exactly what you think... it is very ingenious, don't an individual think? Again, at this time there is nothing completely wrong with earning income, but when is enough - enough? The particular flock becomes nothing but useful paying oie to the Authorities. Sure, the Experts say they love their "sheep-like" customers - but carry out they really? I mean does "he" really care in case you build a multi-million dollar business such as his? hmmmm... We think not. We don't have the ability to stop the gravy train for the HOGS instructions and I didn't want to, but I can at least warn people prior to they fall victim to their traps. Most of these HOGS quickly put unsuspecting prospects due to the fact they do not necessarily know the length of time the people (sheep) will buy into their own Bull Crap. So, their concept is definitely; Strike fast in addition to strike often -- Strike while the iron is HOT!! Have you discovered all of the product starts within one specific Guru "buddy" team? Every 3rd or 4th week one more Guru or some HOG launches a fresh merchandise? Let me ask you a question. Have any of these fancy rich slobbering HOGS produced YOU wealthy but? I hope so, although I doubt that! I don't suggest to keep rubbing this particular within your face since I realize you're possibly very upset not really earning all the big money might been promised. You then have a right to end up being mad. Here's a new helpful hint... BE AWARE: This is some sort of secret you have got to know: Peek under the hood of other super affiliate internet pages to find out what's working before you go survive. Steal the best headlines and keywords to guarantee large commissions. Why conduct all the high-priced testing - it's recently been done. Let's Come on... Here's the particular bold truth! Exactly how Do The Hogs Wildly Succeed In addition to Why Do these cards By no means Want That you Succeed or At The very least Not so Quickly? Well, there is usually a reason for this. Think about it. You're being piece mealed to death! If enough of typically the "students" really figured out all the true techniques or perhaps the exact tips that opens the particular doors to accomplishment, then the Hogs would create too much competition too swiftly plus Internet Advertising and marketing coaching "HOGS" would likely earn less of your budget within the long run. The Gurus must usually make you wanting even more! The Gurus and HOGS request 100s sometimes thousands involving dollars for their own "can't live without" Online marketing courses - inside the course that they give you just enough information so a person can make one other small step, then about two weeks afterwards his buddy, which is also some sort of HOG, launches their "can't succeed without" Website marketing product : he enthusiastically throws a few bones of content and you're still remaining NOT knowing just what to do next, however you did inch forward so most likely happy but still earning not more than a homeless man. The person in school he hated and who seemed to feel the same about him. Stupid, tall, handsome Steve Rogers.
