"Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all my being, bless His Holy Name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.
He pardons all your iniquities, He heals all your ills. He redeems your life from destruction, He crowns you with kindness and compassion.
He will not always chide, nor does he keep His wrath forever. Not according to our sins does He deal with us, nor does He requite us according to our crimes.
For as the heavens are high above the earth, so surpassing is His kindness toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He put our transgressions from us."
1
With all my heart
I praise the Lord,
and with all that I am
I praise his holy name!
2
With all my heart
I praise the Lord!
I will never forget
how kind he has been.
3
The Lord forgives our sins,
heals us when we are sick,
4
and protects us from death.
His kindness and love
are a crown on our heads.
5
Each day that we live,
he provides for our needs
and gives us the strength
of a young eagle.
6
For all who are mistreated,
the Lord brings justice.
7
He taught his Law to Moses
and showed all Israel
what he could do.
8
The Lord is merciful!
He is kind and patient,
and his love never fails.
9
The Lord won't always be angry
and point out our sins;
10
he doesn't punish us
as our sins deserve.
11
How great is God's love for all
who worship him?
Greater than the distance
between heaven and earth!
12
How far has the Lord taken
our sins from us?
Farther than the distance
from east to west!
13
Just as parents are kind
to their children,
the Lord is kind
to all who worship him,
14
because he knows
we are made of dust.
15
We humans are like grass
or wild flowers
that quickly bloom.
16
But a scorching wind blows,
and they quickly wither
to be forever forgotten.
17
The Lord is always kind
to those who worship him,
and he keeps his promises
to their descendants
18
who faithfully obey him.
Sister Mary of St. Peter is best known for her work in establishing devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus. Jesus also revealed to her the virtue of His Holy Name, and urged her to make it known by distributing an article of devotion known as the GOSPEL OF THE HOLY NAME, which consists of a leaflet on which the following is printed: the short Gospel of the Circumcision, which mentions the giving of the name of “JESUS” to our Savior; a picture of the Child Jesus; the initials of His Sacred Name, and some invocations intended to inspire confidence, together with the lines: “WHEN JESUS WAS NAMED, SATAN WAS DISARMED.”
Prodigies continue to sanction this humble yet well-founded practice to this present day. By the Gospel of the Circumcision, Jesus glorifies His Holy Name, restores health to the sick, converts the sinner, and bestows grace to the just. It is specially blessed with success in the case of dying sinners.
Our Lord made five promises to Sr. Mary of St. Peter in honor of the five letters, forming the Holy Name J E S U S, and through the virtue of His Five Wounds, to all those who wear* this little Gospel:
Every time I pray, I always include in my intentions that He will lead or guide me to a path where I am useful and closer to His mission. Coincidentally, the gospel today was about God as a good shepherd who leads, nourishes, and guides His flock to a better life. Earnestly, I prayed to Him, "Lord, lead me."
Voila! At the end of mass, the subject/program coordinator (who happens to be one of my favorite college professors) approached and called me after the recessional song!
Initially, I was just expecting a greeting because she saw me, but what came to me was the answer to my prayers. 🥹🥰
Yes, I will be her colleague soon...
And,
My dream, to be a university professor.
Lord, You definitely have the right time for everything. Imagine that he provided me with the answer right after mass. Actually, both my partner and I were astounded by the mystery of this event, which is truly God's work.
As a Christian professional teacher, I will be a medium of your evangelization through your gifts (talents, knowledge, and skills) vested in me.
Be Holy, Holy high and lifted up
Let the nations feel your glory
Reveal yourself to us
Oh Praise Him, Praise Him in mystery and truth
Let your declaration and praise ring through the upper room
On May 3rd, Google released 8 new top-level domains (TLDs) -- these are new values like .com, .org, .biz, domain names. These new TLDs were made available for public registration via any domain registrar on May 10th.
Usually, this should be a cool info, move on with your life and largely ignore it moment.
Except a couple of these new domain names are common file type extensions: ".zip" and ".mov".
This means typing out a file name could resolve into a link that takes you to one of these new URLs, whether it's in an email, on your tumblr blog post, a tweet, or in file explorer on your desktop.
What was previously plain text could now resolve as link and go to a malicious website where people are expecting to go to a file and therefore download malware without realizing it.
Folk monitoring these new domain registrations are already seeing some clearly malicious actors registering and setting this up. Some are squatting the domain names trying to point out what a bad idea this was. Some already trying to steal your login in credentials and personal info.
This is what we're seeing only 12 days into the domains being available. Only 5 days being publicly available.
What can you do? For now, be very careful where you type in .zip or .mov, watch what website URLs you're on, don't enable automatic downloads, be very careful when visiting any site on these new domains, and do not type in file names without spaces or other interrupters.
I'm seeing security officers for companies talking about wholesale blocking .zip and .mov domains from within the company's internet, and that's probably wise.
But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16
You are to be holy to me because I, the Lord, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own. Leviticus 20:26
Praise the Lord, my soul;all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Psalm 103:1

1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.
14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
19 The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
21 Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
22 Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul.
