Just…hear me out for a second.
An anime of the 2017 Thrawn trilogy books, but Hikaru Miyoshi of “Moriarty The Patriot”-fame does the character designs. (No clue who does the animation character designs, depends on which studio animates it.)
Come on, if Tite Kubo could do Sakura Wars or Kazue Kato doing Godzilla, the person who made Sherlock Holmes gayer than even the BBC could can do this! Easily!!👏

Tags from @deityofgaycrimes on that post about the Moribro's clothing choices.
You know, everyone here sees a lot of my meta analyzing how YuuMori tells a story and knows I think Miyoshi-sensei and Takeuchi-sensei are excellent storytellers.
I am also a storyteller, of course, but I tell story almost exclusively with words. Mangaka can't do that much, because it's inherently multimedia. Miyoshi-sensei and Takuechi-sensei are artists, and you can really tell with things like that. They tell stories with images.
I did take a few visual rhetoric classes in college--that is, how to organize information visually to reinforce your ideas and structure the information, etc., and I see a lot of skill there with YuuMori.
I would try to convey Albert's fastidiousness with the rhythm of my words and preciseness of his words. Miyoshi-sensei conveys Albert's fastidiousness with the neat, immaculate way he wears his clothing and the order to his surroundings (the same way Sherlock's haphazard nature is also reflected in the way he wears his own suit and the way he doesn't try to tame his hair).
I'm not much of a visual artist; I spent years trying to draw and never got much beyond "mediocre" and really only do it rarely and for fun now.
But I love seeing Miyoshi's skill with visual storytelling and the clear love they hold for it.

I was looking at some wonderful old Psycho Pass artworks by Miyoshi-sensei... How wonderful would have been if all PP mangas had been commissioned to him! 😭💖
