inspired by @manygalaxiesinone [disgea characters / classes i'd hang out with if they were real]

Nippon ichi verse characters and whether we'd be Friends/Rivals/Enemies if i was a Competently strong demon in the respective game(that was added for the rival/enemy part) (Assume i'd be 2/4 or 3/4 of the mc's power(with exeptions for Soul nomad and makai)

Tis a long one.(SPOILERS FOR ALL GAMES!)

Makai senki disgaea:hour of darkness

Laharl: Like most characters. Frienemy, not Flone but not Etna either. I'd probably be looking for a job at his palace and be kind of a mix of Fenrich but with Etnas playfulness towards him

Etna: Frival. We would tease laharl. But i would get in the way of her plans as much as i could when it came to mess with him too much

Flone: Friends! She would be curious of my morality like she is with any demon, but she could see i wasn't evil

Gordon: Idk, honestly i might kill him

Tsusday: lil buds (not if i kill Gordon)

Jennifer: friends. (not if i kill Gordon)

Kurtis: Warry of me for the most par. Not enough interactions

Mid-Boss: He could probably 4th-wall break and know i 4th-wall break. he doesn't mind me much.

Lamington: Hate him, if the theories for his identity are real. We are NOT buds anymore.

D2 extras

Sicily: I'd just be nice to her. Shes just a kid

Xenolith: Idk what my stance to him would be. But we would be enemies ultimetly.

Disgaea 2: cursed memories

Adell: Friends. We would bud heads. but not enough to be rivals. In setting maybe i could fit as an other pureblood demon like him. He wouldn't like how i don't mind the world turning into more intresting demons.

Rosalin: Wouldn't interact much her, don't wanna be a 3rd wheel

Tink: i'd kill him

Yukimaru: Friends! nin nin!

Fubuki: Enemies but if we fought, maybe with respect

Director: i'd be very annoyed by him

Axel: i'd play as a Dark hero fan. But still beat him up, maybe make up a pretend rivalry. But in Axel mode i'd rl wanna help him with his family

Taro: THE TAR-MASTER. Super cool guy, I'd hype him up

Hanako: Take the demon child away!!!!

Future Demon lord Hanako: We'd vibe

Zenon(fake): i'd call him phony

Masked man and woman: if i heard them in their death quotes i'd be angry they abandoned Adell.

Disgaea 3: absence of justice!

Mao: Enemies but in the same party. Kinda rivals, but i'd hate his guts. We would probably have a history of being gaming rivals.

Raspberyl: I'd be in her delinquent group!

Almaz: BEST BUDS. Ok i'd want that. But friends for sure. I'd like watching him get braver. And be the end a true hero. I'd try to uplift his spirits when everyone around him is too batshit.

Sapphier: Shes too illogical for me. I'd probably just make her mad sometimes

Mr. Champloo: i'd be just as preplexed about him as everyone else

Master Big Star:i'd wanna beat him up more often than not

Salvatore: Friends! more like i'd play along with her orders

Disgaea 4: a promise unforgotten

Valvatorez: i'd probably join his party through the auditions the DLC characters did. Not on good terms, but i don't know why. It would be one sided from my part

Fendrich: He wouldn't like that i don't love his lord.

Fuka: I'd try to make her think her dream is a dating sim more than she already does. Not only with me. I'd try to stage happening with all the other intrests too.

Artina: I wouldn't care what kinda saint she was back then. Now shes an annoying thief!

Desco: Best final boss. i'd hype her up like taro! I'd love to give her magichange a spin if she let anyone else than fuka.

Emizel: My boy. My pure baby, I'd be full mama bird mode

Genjuro: I'd kill him for being a shitty father

Primeminister Hugo: I'd kill him for being a shitty father

Disgaea 5: Allience of Vengeance

Killia:I'd wanna be his Lize until they are reunited. I'd want to make him accept himself. I'd also love his cooking and wanna train in the ultimate demon tech too. And idk, sence all members should be an Overlord(kinda) Idk, i think it would be cool if initially i was the new Cryo Overlord after him that ran away to find him. Damn going full fan boy kinda?

Seraphina: I'd be ''that bitch'' And remind her of her place. And that ''her mans'' ain't her mans at all.

Usalia: Lil trauma kid. I'd wanna be the positive infuence Seraphina wasn't.

Red Magnus: Rivals kinda? Friends? Kinda the same budoffery he has with zeroken.

Zeroken:i'd be pretty dismissive of him at the start. But he would win me over latter.

Christo: Respect the healer. And the OVERLORD OF A CERTAIN GIANT. I'd buy difrent kinds of demon horn tiaras and switch his with them when he is not looking

Lize: Respect to the Lv1 matriarch.

Goldion: We chilling. But i'd have some grudge on him after learning the whole deal. Like i'd expect him to have done more. But then again he was wounded.

Void: I'd be creeped out by his sisconing. And at post game i'd wanna force him to Give Alma ice back to Killia. (we know he can hold more than one overload too, coz he had both Tyrant Revellio and Marjoritas Overload-be we madevoid give it back to her)

Marjorita: I'LL NEVER FORGIVE HER PLIP.

(now for other games i'll just do those i remmember, i've only played phantom brave yet)

Witch and the hundred knight

Metallia: I don't think we would get along. But she'd be a good damn broom

Phantom brave

Marona: You'll go no further. For her sake I will not fail! FR lil girlly needs more people positive to her from the start of the game. I'd probably be an other chroma initially feeling bad for a small child being alone in danger all the time. but then get whraped up in the plot

Ash: We woud get eachother. Marona small, Must protec. be pretty cool if phantoms could actually posses humans. Maybe if a contract or consent was given. a living confine could happen? If so that's a mad cool fusion

Castile: she a good kid

Castiles parents: I get them, but i hate them a little bit.

Canary: I'd kill him

Raphael: he cool... But in a shojou manga type way. So i wouldn't trust him.

I say d3 had the weakest story but I think d2 is worse actually. At least d3 had more interesting characters. Who likes tink/hanako/taro/yukimaru they added literally nothing to the story

The manga artist Noriko Sasaki received love in television-land in 2019 with two live-action dramas of her works that were aired either on network television or on streaming platforms.

Stay Tuned! is the title for one that is currently available on Netflix. It is based on Sasaki’s manga Channel wa Sonomama. It was serialized from 2008 to 2013 in Big Comics Spirits. It is about Yukimaru Hanako, a young reporter from Hokkaido, and stars Yoshine Kyoko.

Another title is Heaven? ご苦楽レストラン / Gokuraku Restaurant. It is a 10-episode comedy about Ishihara Satomi’s character who opens a French restaurant. The television show aired on TBS in Japan in the summer of 2019.

If Disgaea Characters had Arcana Pt. 2

((This is Part 2 of a multiparter topic. If you haven't seen Pt 1 yet, please go check it out first, then come back here. If you have or just don't care then well...let's get on with it then.

Moving onto Disgaea 2, we now have Adell and Rozalin. As much as I want to cover them separately, I think this time it would be more interesting to cover the both of them. Reason I say this is because I think these two would qualify for the Sun and Moon Arcana respectively. The Sun Arcana represents happiness, vitality, and optimism. While Adell isn't exactly the most cheerful person around, he loves doing things his own way and he does help spread some positivity around. Granted, it's usually when it comes to Rozalin whenever she's upset, but let's not forget how he's the one who talked Yukimaru out of taking her own life when he defeated her in the colosseum, or when he encouraged the player to befriend Rozalin in Disgaea 5 so she won't feel so lonely, and even in Disgaea 6 when he was ready to befriend Zed after one fight with him. It also helps that a good portion of Personas are fire based, including Vulcanus, which happens to be the persona of Tatsuya Suou, the main character of Persona 2: Innocent Sin. As for Rozalin, the Moon Arcana represents doubts and fears taking over the mind and clouding one's judgement, usually leading to isolation if not dealt with. That fits Rozalin to a T as she is constantly haunted by her memories of her past life as well as her questionable relationship with Fake Zenon as her father. As I said earlier, this resulted in Rozalin feeling emotionally isolated from everyone even among her closest companions, hence the term "A being of Solitude". It's also interesting to point out that Maya Amano, the protagonist of Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, is also a representative of the Moon Arcana.

Now I know what you're thinking. "Tink is literally just this game's version of Teddie, so he's easily the Star Arcana". Eh...not quite. Don't get me wrong, Tink and Teddie share A LOT of similar traits, but they do differ a bit in personality. Teddie is more arguably innocent and upbeat most of the time, while Tink has a split personality, one that's polite and respectful like a butler and another that's crude, perverse, and raunchy. As such, I think it would actually be more fitting for Tink to represent the Fortune Arcana.

Axel on the other hand, I can totally see representing the Magician Arcana. He is rather unique given his wide range of talents as the dark hero, like somehow playing the flute expertly while talking and laughing at the same time. Plus like Junpei Iori and Yosuke Hanamura, he has mainly stuck as the comic relief role in the series and he is rather boastful about his talents like Morgana. In fact, if he was a character in a modern Persona game, the only thing he would be missing is an attempt at a relationship going wrong.

I honestly have a tough time thinking about which Arcana would actually suit Taro. While he's not exactly that much of a coward, he is more on the passive side compared to others. He doesn't respect Adell all that much and wants to become a good vassal for Rozalin. At best, I can probably see an argument for the Temperance Arcana, which is represents moderation. The "go with the flow" kind of deal.

Hanako on the other hand, is the Chariot. She has a major "can do" attitude and won't stop at anything until she accomplishes her goal of becoming a powerful demon lord. She even went so far as to summon her future self just to see what she would be like after accomplishing it.

In another case of Irony, Yukimaru could be Strength. While it sure didn't start out this way when she was first introduced, after meeting with Adell she has found resolve to accomplish a task and to do so alive. And with this newfound resolve did she become stronger than before, as indicated when she mastered Midare Fubuki near the end of the game.

Fubuki on the other hand, is definitely the Hanged Man. Between him and Yukimaru, he's more gun-ho on giving up his life if it means finishing his mission. Not only that, but he's more willing to resort to attack others if they're in his path, like trying to kill Rozalin to get to Zenon. In his own words "A ninja will use any hand". Now granted he has matured since then, but I don't think he has fully given up the concept of the need of sacrifice if the time comes for it. At least now, he strikes me as the big bro that would die in battle if it means his little sister would make it out okay. Then again, I can also hear arguments for him being the Justice Arcana.

You're probably expecting Fake Zenon to be the Judgement Arcana or something along those lines since he's the final boss. Not really. In my eyes, he represents Emperor. He's very authoritative and has done quite a bit to get the status he has on Veldime. It's heinous actions, but still. Now if you want someone in this game representing the Judgement Arcana,

look no further than the REAL Zenon. Her second awakening at the end of the game is when Rozalin's memories start flooding back to her, meaning her past and present selves are now together at that moment and the amount of Adell's felonies placed on him will determine the ending of the game. She COULD also represent the death arcana as this also symbolizes Rozalin not fully healing from her past, thus preventing her from fully enjoying the great new wonderful things that comes in her life.

Mao is an interesting case honestly because there are actually a few Arcana that he fits the bill for. The Fool, Emperor, Devil, Hermit, and Tower. Like Laharl, he is authoritative and has struggled A LOT before he became the new Dean of Evil Academy and both Devil and Tower would represent his relationship with his butler, Geoffry. Because of years of being manipulated by Geoffry, Mao was nothing but powerless as he plays right into his hands at almost every turn as part of his ultimate plan to have the ultimate battle. To say that Mao's mind was a mess because of Geoffry is an understatement. And finally Hermit as unlike Laharl, Mao doesn't really struggle all that much with solitude. In fact, he has his own oath about it. That being said, simply because of the fact that he fits so many different arcana and given how impressionable he is at times, it does make the most sense to have Mao be our first Fool Arcana.

Raspberyl would probably be the Lovers Arcana, and no I'm not saying that because she has the same English voice as Rise Kujikawa from Persona 4...though that does help. Raspberyl highly values her bonds with her companions, including her rivalry with Mao. After all, she was the first to reach out to him when he started giving in to his hidden dark powers around the second or third time and she was the only one to do so in the game's worst ending. That being said, she has acted rather carelessly sometimes, like not paying attention to Kyoko and Asuka's envy of her interacting with others or getting Mao to pull a role reversal and become a delinquent thinking she resorted back to her honor student ways. I can also see arguments for her being the priestess Arcana as she was the only one in the group that questioned Aurum's actions during the worst ending in the game and was right to do so even though it was already too late to stop him.

Almaz would be the Strength Arcana. Despite his cowardly nature, especially in the beginning of Disgaea 3, Almaz does his best to try to help others because he wants to become a hero one day. It is through his courage and determination to help those in need like Mao and Sapphire that he was able to do things he normally wouldn't do otherwise like sacrifice himself or opening Mao's heart.

Speaking of his wife, Sapphire would be the Star Arcana. Sapphire is also supportive and encourages Almaz to be better, prime example is when she punched him when he tried to use her as an excuse to try to ditch Mao when his mind reverted to that of a toddler. She also has no issues helping Mao and Beryl if needed, especially Beryl. She is a loyal companion as long as you don't give her a reason to kill you like becoming an evil tyrant that kidnaps princesses. Plus I think we can all agree that having your crush come back to life after he sacrificed himself for you is a clear sign that the universe is working in your favor.

Mr. Champloo gets the Sun Arcana with ease. He is very passionate about his profession as a chef and teacher, always eager to train others to become quality chefs themselves or simply help them walk the path of life. This is why Almaz looks up to Mr. Champloo as his master even though Almaz hasn't done any cooking whatsoever in the game, because his teachings apply to more than just cooking.

Master Bigstar would be Temperance. He's probably among one of the most well balanced characters in the series thus far as he knows how to act as both a leader and a follower whenever the time comes for it. Plus, he's not exactly someone that gets that upset even in the most dire situations like during a losing battle or missing the letter "a" in his name. He takes them seriously, but rarely does he ever panic.

Yeah, I don't care that she's a woman, Salvatore gets the Emperor Arcana with ease. She's far more authoritative than Mao as she gives off crazy commands to anyone she sees as below her rank, even if they happen to be enemy forces. This along with her trying to find her womanliness in Disgaea 3's post game kinda seals the deal for me on this spot.

And now to end this part with Super Hero Aurum, and big shocker, he's Judgement. He's the final boss of the game, his reveal forces Mao to fully confront his past of watching Aurum kill his father in front of him as well as realizing he has been betrayed twice by the same person and how Mao handles it determines either the worst or best ending of the game.

Adell Relationships: Healthy to Toxic.

On from one Disgaea main character to another, now we look at how characters have impacted Adell throughout the series. In fact, I might do one of each Disgaea main character considering the upcoming release of Disgaea 7 depending how I feel about it. Same rules as before, only characters that left at least a noticeable enough impact on Adell will be mentioned, but alternate endings might be taken into consideration. With that said, let’s begin.

Gold Medal of Healthy: His foster family. Anyone who has played Disgaea 2 should not be surprised about this as Adell values his family more than anything. After all they were the ones who looked after him ever since his blood parents, Shura and Selion, left him behind to fight the false Zenon. And despite Zenon’s curse draining them off their morality, they still treat Adell as one of their own. Though if I say which member is the best and worst for him, then top would be Hanako as she adores him as an older brother and how supportive he is of her training to become a demon lord, despite being originally against it and the bottom would have to be Taro, as he shows him the least respect.

Silver Medal of Healthy: Rozalin. You could argue that these two are the iconic couple in the series, but they clearly had a rocky start. With their clashing mindsets and the fact that she’s the daughter of the guy responsible for turning his planet into a Netherworld, as well as Adell’s uneasiness toward women due to his mental scars, it is quite the wonder how far they have gotten together. Heck, despite their kiss at the end of the game, they never became openly official until Disgaea D2. Still, they have earned each other’s trust and are quite happy together, despite the occasional fighting. They even try to get each other gifts behind their backs at every opportunity. And while Rozalin is preparing herself for a more stay at home motherly role in the future with her tending to Adell’s wounds and learning how to cook from Mr. Champloo of all people, she still goes out of her way to do some hard labor like fighting to also help provide for the family, and considering Rozalin’s dislike for fighting due to her own mental scars, that should say a lot about her dedication.

Bronze Medal of Healthy: Yukimaru. The two of them met during Zenon’s tournament in the Colosseum and face each other as opponents, where Yukimaru promptly lost. When she was about to take her own life for her failure, Adell instead convinced her to join his party to face Zenon together, which resulted in her swearing loyalty to him. During their time spent together, Adell helped Yukimaru mature and gain a new strong will and determination, something she is more than thankful for.

4. Killia. Despite being polar opposites in both elements and personality, Killia is easily the main character Adell gets along the best with. We’ve seen in Axel’s tournament that the two are more than capable of working together even though they prefer solo fights. Even when they first met each other in the tournament as opponents, they had nothing but respect for each other. They just managed to click as good friends and rivals. Here’s hoping we get more interactions between them in the future.

5. Valvatorez. Even though Adell has a better kinship with Killia, Valvatorez is definitely a close second, which isn’t surprising given both of their obsessions of keeping promises no matter the cost. There should be no surprise that Valvatorez would be more than willing to accept him as a member of the Hades party, despite failing the combat exam, stating that he passed the interview before the test even started. I had to rank him below Killia though because they have more of a healthy boss and employee relationship rather than friend and rival, which isn’t bad in the slightest, but it does seem less personal than what he has with Killia.

6. Rounding out the healthy section is Overlord Priere. Normally I wouldn’t do characters from other titles, but I felt that this deserves special attention. The two first met after Adell spent hours training in the Dark World and they fought and while Adell won, she was holding back. Still, it was enough to get Overlord Priere’s attention and she started accompanying him as a friend and rival. This is important considering that this Priere is more interested in the smoke than making friends. Just ask Valvatorez. This means that Adell is one of the few characters she doesn’t mind hanging out with. Not only that, but she’s also supportive of his relationship with Rozalin, reminding him that it’s good that he has someone important to protect.

8. Starting off the neutral area is Tink. There’s not really a whole lot to say here as Tink has more history with Rozalin than Adell, but these two at least get along fine well enough as allies, despite how annoying Tink’s red personality can get for Adell.

9. Kurtis. While Adell has technically talked with all the Defenders of Earth, Kurtis is the one he talks with the most as he’s the one usually summoned via a phone during emergencies. Naturally, Adell was more than willing to return the favor when Kurtis was attacked by robotic duplicates made by the EDF. Adell has nothing but respect and some admiration for the prinny defender and Kurtis recognizes Adell’s righteous spirit, considering him a potential for a Defender of Earth himself (or rather Defender of Veldime in this case). Although unlike Killia, Kurtis is more of a lone wolf type of hero and prefers to handle things on his own and doesn’t join the party officially until unlocking the Land of Carnage.

10. Old Man Geo. Like Yukimaru, these two met during the tournament held by the false Zenon and Old Man Geo was nothing but impressed with Adell’s talent for puzzle solving, stating he was on par with Yukimaru’s older bother, Fubuki. He has nothing but respect for the warrior, especially after helping him out when the Shinra Tower was invaded, and properly thanked him for giving him some inspiration for new puzzles. Hopefully a proper Disgaea 2 sequel comes along for us to see what he has in store.

11. Shura and Selion. Their relationship is rather...complicated as these two are Adell’s blood related parents. Adell looked down on them as cowards thinking they abandoned him as a baby when they promised to come back for him one day, never realizing that this was because the two were being forced to serve under the fake Zenon after losing to him in battle. In the manga, he does find out the truth about them, but that’s not the case just yet in the video games. And yet when he met them again as strangers, he couldn’t help but sympathize with their situation and when they asked him to kill them, Adell was hesitant. Once again, let’s hope we get a Disgaea 2 sequel where Adell finds out the truth and determines whether or not he can make peace with what happened.

12. Fubuki. Yukimaru’s older brother started things off as a foe trying to kill Rozalin so he can get revenge for the death of his clan, but he later turned into a friend and ally toward the end of the game, showing his appreciation for Adell and others for looking after his little sister. The two families even give each other gifts from time to time as stated by Hanako.

13. Zed. While Adell is fond of Zed, pointing out that he’s not that bad of a guy, Zed is unfortunately less enthusiastic about being around the demon hunter. While he does enjoy training together to get stronger and have a bond over protecting someone important to them, Zed tends to find him weird and annoying overall.

14. Prism Rangers. Since Adell is part of the group as Prism Black, I felt this deserves a mention. Adell ended up joining them after defeating the rangers twice and was tasked with taking down Zenon in their stead. Unfortunately, Adell doesn’t exactly respect this hero group as much as he does toward the Defenders of Earth. Their adventures together might be another thing to look forward to in a future installment hopefully.

15. Axel. The Dark Hero is also Adell’s self-proclaimed eternal rival. The two met when Rozalin tricked Adell into fighting him, making him think it was Zenon and Axel was beaten so badly, he was announced dead. Since then, Axel was doing everything he can to show that he was alive, going so far as to kidnap Taro and Hanako...by bribing them with candy. Yeah, that’ll look great in court. Overtime, Axel has grown to earn Adell’s respect, especially after his tournament in Disgaea 5. Adell even shared some of his food with Axel when he was struggling as he pointed out in Disgaea 4, showing that he doesn’t hold much of an ill will toward the guy.

16. Rounding out the neutral area is a tie between Laharl and Mao. Yup, these two ended up together as the most toxic main characters Adell has dealt with. I’ve already explained Laharl’s case in the post I made about his relationships, but to sum up, Adell got caught in a crossfire between a feud and their relationship hasn’t improved much since then. As for Mao, he has considered Adell to be the ideal candidate to create the ultimate life form. The problem is, there’s no way Adell’s willing to experiment on him, even after when he applied for a position at Evil Academy to help provide for the family. And considering how stubborn Mao is, it’s unlikely he’ll give up on his plans any time soon.

Starting off the toxic area, the bronze medal goes to none other than Etna. You might be curious as to why I placed her below Laharl. This is because Adell hasn’t really interacted with Laharl all that much and overall, to Adell, Laharl’s more of an annoying rival. Etna on the other hand, is a stalker. I’m not even joking at this. When she lost her levels due to giving Adell a fake nail instead of a real one for her summon, she pinned the blame on Adell and shoved responsibility on him instead of acknowledging her own fuck up and declared that she’s going to follow him wherever he goes until she gets her power back. Let’s also not forget on how she tried to make them take a dive in Zenon’s tournament and got upset when they didn’t despite him clearly not agreeing to it. As well as making him help her track down the prinnies after they all quit their jobs. Even at the end of the game, Adell is hesitant to even refer to Etna as a friend. The only positive this relationship has is the fact that Etna is training Hanako to become stronger as her apprentice.

The silver medal goes to Eleanor. Honestly, if it wasn’t for the last character, Eleanor would have easily taken the gold medal without question. After all, she is the one responsible for Adell’s mental scars, causing him to be more hesitant around women. While their history was never fully stated, the game gives us enough hints as to what happened between them. During Adell’s travels one day, Eleanor convinced Adell to give him information about Shura and Selion in exchange for a price. Adell agreed, until he found out what the price was. Not taking no for an answer, Eleanor lashed out at him and Adell barely managed to escape with his life. He returned home completely covered in blood, and the scars she left on his face and in his mind remain to this day. Thankfully, characters like Rozalin, Priere, and Yukimaru are helping to make things easier for him.

The gold medal of toxicity obviously goes to fake Zenon. Does this really need any explanation? Ever since Adell became old enough to fight and began his demon hunting career, he made it his personal mission to find and defeat as he’s the one responsible for turning his home world into a Netherworld, changing all the humans, including his foster family, into monsters, stealing both their memories and their morals. Not to mention, he’s also the reason Shura and Selion left him behind in the first place and technically forced him to kill them to end their suffering. Even the Disgaea 2 manga has shown Adell having nightmares about being alone in a world where everyone is a heartless monster out to get him as a result of the curse, showing that the fake Zenon has also left him with scars. You know, all of a sudden, I’m starting to think that Adell might need some therapy.

Disgaea 2 characters in a horror movie:

Rozalin: The killer. 100%. No ifs, ands, or buts.

Tink: The first one dead.

Axel: Dies thinking the whole scenario is either a prank or an act for a movie.

Yukimaru: Final girl. Ironically, the most likely to survive.

Taro & Hanako: Escorted to safety by both Adell and Yukimaru only to return in the sequel as adults if it ever gets one. One of them might die on the way.

Fake Zenon: Dies trying to either fight or seal away the killer.

Director: The one retelling the story to the audience.

Fubuki: Noble sacrifice

Eleanor: Hunted down and killed by the killer out of sheer spite and malice.

Old Man Geo: Tries to trap the killer. It goes poorly.

Invincible Hero Squad: Dies trying to fight the killer feeling overconfident.

Adell: Outcome varies. (1. Already dead which triggers Rozalin into turning into the killer, fights the killer and either dies, calms her down, or killers her thus resulting in him getting possessed and turning into the new killer in the sequel. 3. Noble sacrifice #2. 4. Tries to reason with the killer resulting in him being put in a comma or calming the killer down. 5. He straight up fucks the killer and will be the only time where this actually works in his favor.)

Which Disgaea Character Would Survive Squid Game

((Based on the same vids provided by WickedBinge on Youtube. Some rules first. 1. Suvivors of each round will be based on the same categories the folks on WickedBinge use for their videos (especially since I never watched the show myself. This is just for fun.). 2. Everyone will be on an even playing field and not be able to use any weapons or skills that would break the spirit of the game. 3. We are sticking to strictly Disgaea characters and not anyone who has originally appeared in another NIS title, so Zetta, Metallia, Priere, Dronya, and even Asagi Asagiri will NOT be involved here. 4. I have also decided to not include the following: Thursday as he would have an unfair advantage being a robot. Same goes for Kurtis as his body is 70% more machine than man through his own admittance. Speaking of Kurtis, I’m also refusing to include any prinnies simply for the fact that they’re going though enough to pay off their crimes working in various Netherworlds anyway as well as the fact that if a prinny dies, whatever soul it was possessing it will cease to exist (unless if you’re someone like Tyrant Baal) so both Judge Nemo and Laharl’s Mother will also be exempt, but Fuka Kazamatsuri will still participate as she is no longer classified as a prinny due to the events of Disgaea 4′s post game. Same goes for any potentially immortal characters like Sir Aurum, who not only turned himself into an evil god, but also is prevented from dying in the first place due to his status as a super hero, and both Tyrant Baal and Rozalin who can simply take over someone else’s body after death. I will also exclude Sicily, Taro, Hanako, Desco, and Usalia as killing them off in this game would seem a bit too cruel. Finally, every single Disgaea 6 character are automatically exempt due to the game’s usage of Super Reincarnation.

With this out of the way, our contestants are as follows: Laharl, Etna, Flonne, Gordon, Jennifer, Xenolith, Vyers, Lamington, Vulcanus, Adell, Yukimaru, Axel, Fubuki, Mao, Almaz, Sapphire Rhodonite, Raspberyl, Mr. Champloo, Master Bigstar, Salvatore, Rutile, Stella, Valvatorez, Fenrich, Fuka Kazamatsuri, Sir Death Emizel, Nagi Clockwork, Artina, Killia, Seraphina, Red Magnus, Zeroken, and Void Dark.

Round 1: Red Light, Green Light. To pass this game, characters need to be able to remain calm and steady as well as being a good enough of a listener to know when to stop and finally being fast enough to make it across the finish line before the time runs out. Some noteworthy winners would include Raspberyl, who is a great listener and is only a rule breaker by the standards of demons. Zeroken is one of the fastest characters in the series and his training with both Goldion and Killia would allow him to listen to cues on when to stop. And Master Bigstar has the qualities of being both a good leader as well as a good underling when it has to. Unfortunately, not every character will survive this round.

Round 1 Deaths: The first death is a very personal heart breaking choice as it ends up being none other than the angel of love herself, Flonne. Flonne is a good listener and is honestly one of the characters who are more than willing to play a children’s game like this. But the one thing that sets her back is the fact is that she’s pretty clumsy at times. It wouldn’t be surprising for her to accidentally trip all of a sudden during a red light, resulting her in taking a bullet to the head. The next to go is the original main character himself, Laharl. Let’s be honest, out of all the characters in the series, Laharl is the most stubborn and the least likely to listen to authority from anyone that isn’t himself or maybe his mother. It’s very likely he would have little patience participating in such a childish game. Even if he managed to make it past this one, he probably still would die in the second game anyway. Speaking of authority, the final one to go is Salvatore. Just like with Laharl, Salvatore rarely ever takes orders from anyone who she doesn’t recognize as her superior. The only way she would make it out of this one is if she was secretly involved somehow, which could actually lead to her downfall later on.

Round 2: Honeycomb To survive this, the participants need a steady hand in order to carefully edge out the shape in a cookie without breaking it, or at least be clever enough to figure out that you can eat around the cookie for an easy win. Both Killia and Mr. Champloo are practically guaranteed to win here as the two of them are expert chefs as well as martial artists. Being a nurse in her previous life as well as aiding the infirmary in Hades as an Angel, Artina is highly likely to know how to use a needle effectively. And while the same can’t fully be said for Raspberyl, she is at least experienced in first aid. Mao, Jennifer, and Nagi are skilled with robotics so they shouldn’t have much trouble either as well as Yukimaru and Fubuki who are trained ninja, Axel who has years of experience playing the guitar, and Etna, Gordon, Sapphire, and Seraphina who can all handle a gun pretty well. Even Fuka would likely pass by figuring out the trick to the game due to her love of sweets. There are quite the surprising amount of survivors here. But, not everyone is so lucky.

Round 2 Deaths: The first to go is none other than Red Magnus. Red Magnus is not delicate by any means. He’s huge, hot blooded, and very strong, which is practically a death sentence in this particular situation. Only one other character is killed off here, but it is extremely heartbreaking as it is none other than the demon hunter from Veldime and my all time favorite character of the whole series, Adell. While Adell has many talents that would be useful in the other games, this is where he falls short as he does not like holding back his strength, nor is he likely to figure out that he can eat around the cookie despite being clever enough to solve difficult geo puzzles. We also know he’s not that skilled with his hands as the main reason he started looking for jobs in various netherworlds is because he’s terrible at farmwork. With all these factors in, it’s sad to say that mah boi is more than likely doomed here.

Round 3: Midnight Brawl While the Midnight Brawl is not an official part of the games, it is an important enough moment that has to be included as the lack of sleep and food would drive anyone crazy. To survive you either need to be skilled in a fight or be smart enough to hide away until it’s over. Once again, both Killia and Mr. Champloo are likely to survive here as they are skilled martial artists. Same goes for Void, Master BigStar, Zeroken, Jennifer, and Fenrich. Valvatorez, Artina, Mao and Emizel are all smart enough to know when to be stealthy. And while Gordon isn’t as strong or as smart as Jennifer, he does have plenty of training under his belt as a hero even without his gadgets. Both Yukimaru and Fubuki are ninja and trained well enough to know when to strike at opportune moments. Rutile has her strength as a nekomatta to her advantage and would more than likely use it to protect her bestie, Stella. Same goes for Sapphire Rhodonite who is practically a one woman army and is more than likely to protect her husband, Almaz as well as the adorable Raspberyl, by any means. Even Axel would survive here as not only is he at least somewhat skilled with his fists, but even if he does lose a fight, he can fake his own death and just lay low until the brawl is over. Once again, quite a lot of survivors during this event, but not everyone will be able to prevail.

Round 3 Deaths: The first to go is Fuka Kazamatsuri. While Fuka has proven that she can handle herself in a fight against tough opponents, she usually fights with some sort of weapon on her which she won’t be able to here and all of her party members except for Fenrich and Nagi are too busy hiding to protect her, and it’s unlikely that Fenrich would actually be willing to protect her considering how annoying he sees her. Speaking of Nagi Clockwork, she’s the next to go. Nagi doesn’t have much experience in terms of fighting outside the usage of her mechs nor does she in stealth, thus making her basically a sitting duck. The last to go is a personally satisfying result as it’s none other than Archangel Vulcanus. I think we can all agree that Vulcanus is more than likely going to use the brawl as an opportunity to try to kill Lamington while his guard is down. The problem with that plan is someone as smart as Lamington will see it coming which would result in him getting countered and killed by Vyers, Killia, Zeroken, or all 3 of them working together as they would be protective of him as a friend and ally.

Round 4: Tug-of-War Instead of coming up with teams, the survivors of this round will be determined by their strength as well as their ability to work well with others. Even those who are on the weaker side will have a chance to succeed if they’ll be able to lead their team to victory. This is yet another round where both Killia and Mr. Champloo shine as they are both strong and have good leadership skills, even though Killia didn’t start out that way. Despite her size and not being one of the more physically stronger characters, Raspberyl more than makes up for it with her teamwork skills. Void Dark would be the polar opposite of this as he’s strong enough to keep up with Killia. Valvatorez is all about camaraderie, so he’s also a shoe in. Both Gordon and Jennifer are all about working together to accomplish a goal, and Rutile’s main goal in life is to have plenty of friends so if there’s anyone who’s going to be willing to work on a team, it’s her. Sadly, this is where things start to take a bit of a deadly turn for the cast.

Round 4 Deaths: The first to die in this game is Disgaea 3′s main character, Mao. While Mao has gotten better overtime, he’s still not exactly the best when it comes to teamwork, often preferring to have others do his bidding or work on things himself. Stella dies in this round for the exact same reason as Mao. The fact that her only actual friend at the Majin Academy is Rutile is a clear indicator that she’s not a team player by any means. In fact, she’s actually quite manipulative, which is not going to do her any favors in this round. Speaking of manipulation, Etna is the next to go. While she’s not as bad as working with other people as someone like Laharl or Mao, it’s still pretty up there as she would often rely on underlings like her prinnies to get the work done and she has quite the infamous reputation across different Netherworlds about her mistreatment of them to the point where they even quit working for her during Disgaea 2 even after they left Laharl with her. Unfortunately, her brother, Xenolith is going to join her here. This is simply because Xenolith tends to act like a lone wolf and prefers to keep his distance from others, even his sister. And unlike Zeroken, we haven’t exactly seen much evidence of him moving past it just yet. At least Fubuki has experience working well with Etna’s prinnies after they left her. Next up on the falling block is Seraphina. While she does have a good bond with the Rebel Army, her overall teamwork skills are actually rather lackluster as she would more than likely try to charm a bunch of guys to pull the rope for her. This might work if her team was filled with some pretty strong simps, but it’s not exactly a guaranteed scenario. The next death is Lamington. A.K.A Christo, Lamington started out as someone who constantly looked down on others until he became a member of the Rebel Army. While he is more likely to work well on a team than how he used to be and could even come up with a good strategy, his lack physical strength probably won’t be enough to make him that much of an asset on his team, especially if we’re using Seraph Lamington who is in his 9000s. Now I know this is going to break the hearts of fans, but sadly the last person to die in this round has to be Fenrich. This is because Fenrich is unlikely to work well with a team unless if he’s specifically with Valvatorez, but as I said, that’s not going to be the case here. While he is a strong enough fighter to survive the midnight brawl, his lack of actual teamwork skills will likely result in his death.

Round 5: Marbles With 18 of our players left, we have reached Marbles. This game comes down to whether or not a character is skilled enough or lucky enough to be able to win one of the various methods of playing the game against a singular opponent. I will also be taking into consideration on those who are skilled with manipulation as well as those who are likely to sacrifice themselves for their partner. Once again, both Killia and Mr. Champloo are likely to survive here as they have dealt with their fair share of manipulative characters, Killia especially since he spent most of his life on the Cryo Blood Netherworld, a place notorious for backstabbing. If there’s anyone that would be able to catch on to someone trying to trick him, it’s this guy. Vyrers is also sure to survive as he’s skilled with using his “mind’s eye” to figure out what’s going on and how to plan accordingly. Void Dark himself is an intimidating and manipulative character so it is likely he would trick someone into giving up their marbles in order for him to move on.

Round 5 Deaths: The first two to die in this game are obvious and they are none other than Axel the Dark Hero and Captain Gordon, the Defender of Earth. These two are far from the brightest characters in the series. Axel himself has proven himself to be a massive idiot on multiple occasions as well as pretty unlucky, which is a death sentence here. Captain Gordon has been tricked on multiple occasions, even by the government he works for. Raspberyl is the next person to die. While Raspberyl has dealt with Mao on numerous occasions, this didn’t stop her from getting tricked by other people from time to time, such as when 2 criminal aliens tricked her into helping them escape Gordon’s pursuit. Even when not including that factor, it’s also likely someone like her would sacrifice herself for her partner. The same can be said for Rutile. Rutile is arguably even nicer and naiver of a person than Raspberyl and thus even more likely to either get tricked by or sacrifice herself for her partner. As if the results of the previous round didn’t break enough hearts for fans, the next to die is none other than everyone’s favorite sardine eating vampire, Valvatorez. Let’s get one thing straight here, out of all the characters in the series, Valvatorez is probably the one that has been tricked by someone on screen the most. Even his own allies like Artina and Fenrich have manipulated him at least twice. While he is an intimidating character like Void, what sets him back is the fact of how likely his partner will trick him of losing his marbles. Sir Death Emizel will be joining his party member in this round. While he has gotten better overtime, we are still talking about the same guy who doesn’t exactly have the best luck record as well as constantly getting pushed around by someone like Fuka on a regular basis. The odds aren’t looking that good for him here. The last two to die in this round are determined by which of these 4 are more likely to sacrifice themselves for their partner. Either Fubuki, Yukimaru, Almaz, or Sapphire. And in the end, I pick both Fubuki and Sapphire to be the ones to die here. In Fubuki’s case, he’s more willing to die during a mission than his younger sister, Yukimaru and in the event that the two would be going against each other, he would want her to live on with her fighting spirit. As for Sapphire, she has spent a good portion of her life watching people die for her sake. She became a fighter because she was so sick of it and wanted to protect her people herself. And in the event that she gets paired up with Almaz, while both do seem like they’re willing to give up their lives, Sapphire already witnessed Almaz give up his life for her before, filling her with grief until he was revived. It’s extremely likely that she won’t even hesitate to return the favor in this scenario after reminding Almaz of his promise to NOT die.

Round 6: Glass Stepping Stones Only 10 currently remain and the way to get through this game is to be able to tell the difference between tempered glass from regular glass, which is unlikely. However those who are willing to go later than others do have an advantage, while those with an ego are probably doomed to fail.

Round 6 Deaths: The first to go is none other than the Dark Adonis, Vyers. A.K.A Overlord Krichevskoy doesn’t actually have that big of an ego compared to his son, Laharl, but he is still more likely than other characters to pick a low number. The next to go is Zeroken. Zeroken is very eager and a bit headstrong. At this point, he would probably feel pretty confident after making it so far in the games only to fall short here. The final member of the Hades Party, Artina, falls to her doom as well. Artina is more on the cautious side compared to her comrades, but not so much compared to the remaining characters. It is a chance she would pick a middle number or at the very least sacrifice herself to take out someone else who has been shoving other characters off to their deaths. The same can be said for Master Bigstar. He has a rather average ego as he knows when to lead and when to follow, so it’s very likely he would pick a mid to low number. And while he I can imagine him being light on his feet, it probably won’t be enough to save him here. It’s also likely he would give up his own life in some form of dramatic finale as if it’s the ending of a play. Of the remaining characters, Void Dark has one of if not the biggest egos in the room. Not only would he pick a high number but he’s also likely to be the one to force other players to go ahead of him to their deaths, thus making him the target for Artina’s prementioned sacrifice. The last person to go is none other than Almaz Von Almandine Adamant. This only goes down to bad luck which Almaz has been a victim of on more than one occasion and unlike before, he doesn’t have someone like Sapphire to protect him this time around.

Final Round: Squid Game The last round is unexpectedly going to be a team up instead of a usual 1v1, meaning that 2 characters will have a chance of surviving here so long as there isn’t any backstabbing. Killia, being the polar opposite of Adell in personality, is the calmest character in the series and would be the most likely to stay in the back. Same goes for Yukimaru due to her ninja training and growing up in a place like Snow Melody. Both Jennifer and Mr. Champloo actually be likely to tell the differences between the glasses due to Champloo’s mysterious Chaos Kitchen training as well as Jennifer’s extreme intellect. In terms of this game, one team will act as defender while the other team is the aggressor, trying to get to the squid’s head despite the defender’s attempts to stop them. Either that or it boils down to a battle to the death scenario. This is a rather close call as all 4 of them are experienced fighters who have trained for years. In the end, due to him being the tyrant overlord for a time in a place like Cryo Blood, I would say Killia would definitely be the one who would take the win here, as he would likely has years of survival of the fittest experience. The second winner would depend on who Killia would likely team up with and between the 3 of them, I would say that Yukimaru is the most likely candidate given their similar icy yet warm nature, meaning that Mr. Champloo and Jennifer would ultimately die in the final game.

Congratulations Killia and Yukimaru for winning the Squid game together. I’m sure Snow Melody will appreciate the winnings so the residents can continue to rebuild it.
