@country-wannabe was originally a Shelbert blog. She hasn't posted anything since mid 2021. She goes back to 2014, which of course, everything between then and 20 July 2015 is about them. I will just say she did not come over the to the Darkside (Shefani world) with great acceptance, as she felt her blog was about Blake. Eventually she was assimilated. But what is interesting, is that there is an archive that shows the emotions, falsehoods, truths, some hate, etc about BS and ML's divorce from just before it happened through to, not sure. This is stuff I don't have in my archive, and the only way to get it there is to repost her stuff.

There will be more spam, for the rest of 2015, I am sure November will be very interesting, to read. Blake and Gwen flew to attend the CMAs on 4 Nov. Gwen was only backstage. Unfortunately, her, or his, or both (have heard conflicting reports) that based on the fact the paps had caught them being very cozy with each other at Halloween parties (day of and next) the publicists decided to announce to the world that Blake and Gwen were officially dating due to the paps finding out that Gwen was with Blake on the plane. Unfortunately, the announcement apparently came out while ML was on the red carpet. MLs fans, when they found out about the timing went ballistic, accusing Blake and Gwen of trying to diminish ML.

The hate was there before, but, when this happened, it basically exploded from some of the hardcore ML Fans. We here started referring to these off the wall people as ranfans to differentiate them from the sane fans of ML. From then on, we saw a lot of unsubstantiated hate from these people. Some were absolutely psycho. There are still a few on twitter and some show up in mine and PWC's blog to screw with us.

Gwen, and Blake denied that they told their publicists to release the information.

The Last of the Three Faces - MNW Tripleface

Technically, there are only three rules you should follow:

Do not let him swipe at you. Do not let him grab you. Do not let him near you.

All of which are far easier said than done.

The third and final stage of Wackoman's Tripleface Protocol loses almost all resemblance to the harmless clown he normally is, and only a flimsy color-splattered rag tries (and fails) to hide the many dangers underneath. A design choice no doubt deemed "hilarious" by his creator. Wackoman grows further in size and his mastery over fire and water only increases, now capable of producing far more precise strikes compared to the chaotic Elemental Tower spamming of his Second Stage. His four long and powerful arms spring deadly spikes from their entire length, even a single swipe from them can lead to massive damage. His entire torso becomes one enormous maw with a bottomless instant-deleting void inside it that can spawn arms of its own, reaching out to roughly 3 meters in front of him.

Going melee against Wackoman Stage Three is a guaranteed death sentence. You either hope to whatever God is out there that you can pack a hard-enough punch with a Program Advance to force him to log out (or he might just facetank the hit at this point, knowing your luck), or you hope you are actually as good of a sniper as you think you are. But do not forget... Wackoman's head is still severed. That "neck" is not a neck, it's yet another one of those arms from the maw, and it might just be faster than your trigger finger. And better watch out for those fireballs or water jets coming your way.

Even worse news, his NetOp, Maddy simply might not be able to help you either. Created by her artist uncle as the representation of Coulrophobia, the fear of clowns, Wackoman is technically uncontrollable in this form, safe for a forced logging out. After all, fear is what he is made from and made for, and by this stage he fully accepts his destiny. What better way to achieve it than by providing the experience of staring death straight in the severed face? If you do not come to him willingly, he might take an arm or a leg first. And he may take another limb and another, or he may just hug you tightly before finally ending you, if you had managed to raise his ire.

Realistically, there is only one rule you should follow:

Flee for your life.

Happy Halloween, everybody!

And with this, yet another shelved project idea is done for good. This year's been a good year, I'm telling you. Granted, I will try to do a character sheet for him so you can actually see his details if nothing gets in the way, but with this picture I consider the Tripleface Saga finished after all these years. From the very first comic page back in 2012, to the eventual revisit and revision of both the comic and the second stage design in 2020 and 2021, this has been one of the most persistent AU ideas I have ever had for a character (no, it's not headcanon, it's too wild and canon-breaking for that). But the third stage has eluded me for over two years, before I finally hunted it down and dragged it across the finish line.

I do hope you like the design and of course I am always open for feedback!

Voiceplay-adjacent Visuals: Monster Mash

Geoff Castellucci's cover of Monster Mash was uploaded on the 9th of October, 2021, being of course his Halloween upload for the year.

Honestly I don't really have any thoughts or background info to say at the start here (well I do have stuff to say, but stuff to include as part of my actual video notes/commentary), so without further ado, let's go!

Cool set design! (Shoutout to Layne, Tony, and the rest of PattyCake productions!)

Who's that I spy in the left-hand corner of the screen? 😉

I've watched like 4 or 5 different reaction videos for this video, and of those, only one reactor actually spotted Kathy right at the start of the video (though to be fair, he had the advantage of having the video paused right at the start during his intro, so he had a chance to have a full look at the scene/image). And I'm not calling anyone out here - I also had no clue Kathy was there on my first watch until the end 😂😅

Here's what Geoff said in the description of the video: "I also want to send out a huge thanks to Rick Underwood. This video had to be re-filmed due to several issues with the original footage. Rick did some incredible makeup for the first shoot, but sadly our schedules did not align for the reshoot and we weren’t able to feature his amazing work. Kathy stepped in and tried her very best to make me look like the living dead. I was already exhausted so it didn’t take much." [pfft]

Kathy is also credited with costuming for this video, and did an amazing job! (I will say more about the Backup Geoffs myself, but let's get some more screencaps first!)

Geoff is not just fantastic at doing outrageous/silly/absurd comedic stuff (albeit on the uncommon occasion), he's also great at the more subtle stuff, dry humour, etc, such as his Narrator character (Lead Geoff) in this video!

I really love how the movements progress during each chorus - starting out as four fixed poses in the first chorus, then adding a little bit of movement in the second, then really becoming more like "proper" choreography in the third. Also, the four poses represent different creatures/characters! This one is a zombie...

...then a werewolf/wolfman (like the second Geoff from the right)...

...then a vampire/Dracula (like the second Geoff from the left)...

...and this one I'm not quite sure. Maybe a mummy?

Also not entirely certain who/what Furthest-Right Geoff is meant to be, but I'm guessing Frankenstein's Monster (who, fun fact: Geoff played on and off for 10 years in a show at Universal Studios! (he last performed in the show in 2013))

And yes, we're back at it again with the contact lenses! Dracula/Vampire Geoff has completely clouded eyes, with no iris/pupil visible (how hard is it to see in those I wonder), Wolfman Geoff has the most normal eyes of the three backups/dancers, but he might still have a different eye colour? And Frankenstein's Monster Geoff (or FrankenGeoff, for short) has clouded eyes as well, but I think the actual eyeballs might be a little bit more visible there

Screencaps really don't do this justice. A particular highlight is Werewolf Geoff learning he has hips, and that he can use them! 😝😂

I have not a single damn clue what that tool thing actually is, but it looks cool, and so is the electricity effect here!

Not to spam you with screenshots (me? never 🤣) but somehow I never fully paid attention to what Wolfman Geoff and FrankenGeoff were doing when Narrator Geoff mentions Dracula 😆

Pay attention to Kathy in the background when the shot cuts back to Narrator Geoff when he hits a subharmonic on "[Dracula and his] son". She twitches! (Totally fair, I'd be doing a lot more than twitching if I was that close to him while he sung in subharmonics! (no not like that, brain out of the gutter please!))

Most reactors while watching this: eugh that was creepy!/I didn't like that! 😬😅

Me watching this, even on my first watch: yeah okay sure

Dance solo! But try paying attention to Narrator Geoff during this bit...

He's not only conducting the song, he also seems to be controlling at least some of the Backup Geoffs' movements!

If I recall correctly the comments I read about it, apparently Geoff did the choreography (assisted by Matthew Buckner, aka "Bucky") to a slowed-down version of his cover, so that when the moves were sped back up to normal speed in post-production, it gave it the sort of "not-quite-natural", almost "jumpy" look that you see from the movements in the video (and to think that he would've had to be lip-syncing to the slowed down cover version as well! How weird!)

(Also I'd just like you to know that while writing that previous sentence, I literally started typing "they", in regards to the "Backup Geoffs", as if they were in fact individual people... 😅😂)

(Also shoutout to Kathy on the acting job of "extremely dazed and confused", absolutely nailed it!)

(And yes, FrankenGeoff was flossing! 😂)

Even though this had to re-filmed a few times, this still looked like Geoff had a lot of fun with it, and I often can't help but dance along with the Backup Geoffs!

Monster Mash is a pretty damn iconic Halloween song, but Geoff took it and made it distinctly his own, and it WORKED (like always, when it comes to Geoff! 😁). He always makes amazing arrangements, and for Halloween especially he really seems to go above and beyond, for both song and video!

Got a good handful of Geoff covers left for analysis posts, so stay tuned!

there'll be good times again

I recently reconnected with a friend I thought I had lost. Reconnected is a bit of a strong word, but it's kind of what happened. We had a falling out a couple years ago and she decided she didn't want to be friends anymore. I was okay with it, since she was courteous about it and I knew I was in the wrong. I saw her when I went to the homecoming dance at the school I no longer go to. I was asked by a friend. She was asked by her boyfriend, who is my ex boyfriend, who is not the reason we broke up, but is involved. I don't care that they're dating. In fact, I'm happy for them. And it's not like I didn't think they were going to never date. We were all in the same circle pre-pandemic, and they were the only ones who continued to be in that circle after they went back to their school.

Anyway. At homecoming, she said hi to me, was very nice, we had a short laugh about someone being weird on the dancefloor before I had to leave the room briefly to fix my hair. She looked great. She looks the same as I remember her looking.

She liked one of my ig stories about a week later. I don't want to read into anything, but liking an Instagram story is an act friends do. She texted me earlier this month because she liked my profile picture (it's gumby with a pumpkin on his head. because of the upcoming holiday (halloween)). It was a short conversation, but it made me realize how different we are now. She texts the way I remember her texting, and the way I used to text when we would talk all the time. I wonder if I would text the same way I used to if we never stopped talking.

I think about that a lot. How different would I be if she and I never stopped being friends? Not to say that she's exactly the same as she was two or three years ago. I'm sure she's different, I just don't know how yet. Did she change in similar ways to how I did? 15 to 17 isn't that big of an age difference, but it's a lot of time to change. That can't be true, since she is now president of the drama club and I am president of a one-person club working to abolish high school theater. Though I guess I'll have to shelve those duties if I want to be friends with her again. She goes to a normal high school. I seriously wonder which one of us is more grounded. It's probably not me, but who really knows.

She follows my spam account now. She commented on one of the posts as if we had been making fun of strange musicals for years without ever stopping. She views my stories again. I don't like to read into things too much, and I promise I'm not. I know this doesn't mean anything. This is the normal I've been trying to get back to since January 2021.

Just saw the Anniversary card list, and Idia is there?!?! Does it mean we won’t get Ghost Marriage again soon??

... alright, didn't want to spam the Anniversary post with my guess, but I can add it here if it helps:

The Anniversary SSR Shop List does have 2020 SSRs cards except "Fairy Gala" and "Wish Upon A Star" , while Idia "Ghost Marriage" is a 2021 SSR but is available.

So yeah, it is HIGHLY PROBABLE that "Ghost Marriage" won't have a rerun this year, while "Fairy Gala" and "Wish Upon a Star" will most probably have a re-run.

If you check the post I made with a summary of Event outfits, it is quite obvious that there is still room to add characters for these 2 Events.

"Fairy Gala" has a tricky cast-restricted scenario but Malleus and Vil (possibly Lilia or Idia) are strong contenders, and the list could get longer if it is a "guest outfit" like Lilia got for Ghost Marriage (completely outside from the Event Story). That doubles with Malleus not having an Event SSR Card as of now (and him being a Fairy Prince, I mean can't get more obvious than that when it's 2 years the fandom is begging for him, but then again Yana-sensei might twist us around her little finger again and blow our mind ¯\_ȌᴥȌ_/¯)

"Wish Upon A Star" would probably be alright by adding 2nd or 3rd years who were the Stargazers on prior year since this is a yearly NRC event. But not sure who would be candidate then as Trey and Ortho are already Stargazers...

A bit of trivia as well based on list of goodies released for twst-ten > it seems they do not consider Halloween as the character-related Event outfits, so it's entirely possible that the characters who got Halloween SSRs might show up as another Event SSR.

Silk Week 2021 (@silkweek)

Day 1: Recommendations

for day one, when trying to come up with Silk-related recs, i immediately thought of this work:

this fic holds a place of honor in my heart. i was wandering down a lonely road with my little ace!Cindy headcanon that i considered canon for myself & to spite d*n slott, when @lilradridinghood dropped this gem on ao3!! and suddenly i am not alone. it's still, to my knowledge, the only fic with ace!Cindy, and even though i aim to change that in the near future, it's so nice knowing i won't be alone in that tag😊

anyway, that's all i have for day 1!! tune in tomorrow for some cool art by me!!💜

one thing i really really love about hellenic polytheism, especially as a former xtian, is that the religion itself is based on kharis, or forming relationships with the gods.

and the relationships are a two-way street; you can't just ask for things from the gods all the time & never thank them or give offerings, but the gods shouldn't ask things of you constantly without a little help, guidance, or gifts/blessings/etc.

the idea that the whole point of worship is to strengthen your bond with your deities instead of just expecting immediate love & reverence is so refreshing. i don't have to constantly affirm that lady hestia is the Best Ever (even though she is), i shouldn't follow whatever i think the gods say without using my own judgment (it's not always gonna make sense right away but It Will), and i don't have to fear them in order to be a good worshiper. the relationships are built on mutual love & respect just like all good relationships should be.

in conclusion: i love my deities & cannot believe i'm lucky enough to have artemis as my (metaphorical) big sister😊😊

Day 2: Love & Connection

for today's theme, i decided to draw one of my favorite headcanons: ace!Cindy. i've headcanoned Cindy as asexual for almost as long as i've known about her. even though it contradicts.... *certain pieces of canon* this headcanon is near & dear to my heart, in no small part because i am also ace & Korean-American. so, without further ado, here's the art:
