Went a joyride and did an Ozzie redesign for fun. This was not made to "fix" the canon Ozzie design. I'm not really into that. Rather, this was made to see how I would design Ozzie in my style and thought processes, and here's the result. I would also consider this my version of him for my HB AU Sins of a Feather.

To explain the changes I made a bit, largely his body shape. I wanted to go for something less top heavy, so his shoulders aren't as broad. Regarding his head shape, I didn't want him to have such a flat face, so I made it appear more akin to a skull, hence the wide open nose. I kept the digitigrade legs, feather crest, and rooster tail. I did, however, change up the colors of his crest and tail feathers, going for a more shiny greenish color seen on the common rooster.

I decided to make his bright blue mane fluffier/lighter and extend down his back. I also decided to slap on some ears behind his fluffy cheeks to make him look cuter (imo).

I've been told I made him look more like a twink, which is fair. I just like the idea that he appears like he could be more of a switch.

Again, this wasn't made to fix his original design. I actually quite like his original design, even if I find the proportions a little funky lol

I had a dream that I was a drawing and helping produce a helluva boss reboot and holy shit did it look so fucking cool

Every character seemed to have some redesigns, some moreso than others (stolas, Stella, and Loona had the biggest changes it seemed)

And the show itself was gonna take itself more seriously from the very beginning which would’ve been nice.

Episode 1 was called Loona’s First Day and followed her first day as being an receptionist for IMP while the team does their work. I also saw scenes of Stolas’ family being introduce. His debut scene being a conversation with a Stella while they both were getting ready in the bathroom at his palace. I can’t remember the dialogue but you got hints of how unsavory Stella could be.

I like to imagine [my] Bel has a fair few alternate forms that he uses in public when he just wants to be casual and unbothered. I've only actually drawn one (now two) of his alt forms, but I imagine he's got several, just for variety. There's his baphomet form (this one), and an imp form that I drew once upon a time with his original concept art, but I really need to revamp that one, not really a fan of it anymore.

He doesn't actively hide his identity, like fake name or personality. If someone were to ask him, say, what his name (He goes by Bel most often) is short for, he'd answer with Belphegor. It's on the asker if they believe him or not.

So dumping some of my reboot!au thoughts here.

The most change personality-wise seemed to be in Blitzo, who appears more as a punk like in his casual wear than his usual suitish like thing. He is a lot more intimidating in demeanor. You hear a boss of a murder company and he actually looks and radiates the part, as opposed to canon blitzo who is a bit goofy all around. (tho tbf the entire trio is kinda goofy for that comedy intent) More cold and reserved when not actively being The Boss. In my dream he is wearing that leather jacket and a loose tie, again being more intimating than his current wear, but when trying to figure out my designs that could change.

IMP also serves as a consulting agency first and foremost, not a murder one. Likely because my mind during the dream was like murder = illegal = don’t be obvious about it. The agency advertised itself as a consult for those who have just been murdered (read: consulting them into hiring IMP for a new murder to exact revenge) or consult for those who worry there might be a murder attempt on their life. I’d imagine there would be a variety of services with fees on the ladder one, from just a simple check if there is a bounty or hire on your head to actually employing IMP as a body guard as like in canon with Stolas.

I didn’t get much on Moxxie and Millie, but they are there along with Loona. I actually adore the idea of Moxxie and Millie as high school sweethearts so I’m gonna do that. Within IMP Blitzo is obvs the boss and murder expert, Moxxie remains an weapons expert, and Millie as the muscle. Loona is also still a receptionist but considering the consulting part of the company now, she might actually have some more responsibilities.

I’m still working on Reboot!Blitzo’s design for my own mind, but I actually really like making him cold and distant because we do have some hints of that social inability in canon. Here his stalking of his employees would be less obvious and be explained with a weird protective/possessiveness over them instead of just as a silly gag with no weight. And his loud goofy self being more of just an act of selling himself as the boss. Visually he’s still similar, I’m just playing with his outfit and adding raptor like spines on him bc I always thought him as reptilian based. And I would push that white scarring on his face more, bc I genuinely didn’t realize it was a scar until after s2e1. So I want that scarring to be more obvious and affect that eye.
