A few days ago my partner proposed the idea of Ginger and Jimmy Pesto's ex wife (Jimmy Jr, Andy, and Ollie's mom), being the same person.

And listen, I have been FIXATED ever since.

Have we ever seen Jimmy in the restaurant at the same time as Linda being on the phone to Ginger?

What if that's why Jimmy's such a dick to Bob, because Linda's still in Ginger's life but he isn't?

Ginger's hair and shirt colours are almost identical to Jimmy Junior and Andy, respectively.

Ginger has a partner and Jimmy Jr's museoem says "my mom's new friend Allen, is okay!"

Andy and Ollie's personalities overlap with Linda's so much, that comes from somewhere!

Linda's mystery red-headed friend in the Dreamatorium episode has an almost identical face to Andy and Ollie too! And as J-Ju looks exactly like his dad, it stands to reason that the twins would look like their mom.

love how elusive the years between 18 and 30 are for both bob and linda in the show. we dont know ANYTHING we don't know if linda went to college if she had friends or roommates how she met ginger if she was still living with her parents how she met hugo WHAT HER PREVIOUS JOB WAS?? and for bob we don't know if he still worked at his dads restaurant after their fight if he still lived with him where he could've lived or worked otberwise if he had friends or roommates what his plan in life was. and we'll never know the answers to these questions either bcuz I don't think the writers actually thought that far ahead

I was rewatching bobs burgers and, I think I just made the connection. In the fandom people have been discussing if Ginger is real or not since she’s never had a line or shown her face, only when Ginger gets invited to hang out with Linda, and in Sliding bobs as a flashback. So today marks the 4 year anniversary since “Countdown to Catastrophe” premiered, the season finale that I think pretty much everyone can agree was the best of the finales. ;) We got to see the culmination of Obake’s plan to destroy the city, his manipulation of Hiro into giving him exactly what he wanted and the moral of just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. I love this finale for all those reasons as well as it is when Globby turns good and we get a surprising turn of events for Obake as he performs a selfless act in the face of his demise. There’s just so much to enjoy whether it be from laughs, angst or heartwarming moments; the look of horror, regret and guilt on Professor Granvlle’s face at what happened to Bob is pretty harrowing too. O_O

(I also can’t get enough of Globby as a T-Rex for the first time as the GIFs here as well as the one I posted yesterday would indicate. XD We also get the “My whole list” line about Felony Carl too ;) ).

Boblinweek Day 3 - Worry/Morning

Guess who's posting a section of an already pre-made fic?

For context, Ginger comes home early one evening when Bob and Linda are being cute and gets upset because Linda blew her off again for a guy. This section does devolve into fluff at the end, but I think the beginning follows the prompt pretty well:

The chill of four in the morning filled the room, bringing Bob to the realization that sleep was no longer an option as a wave of exhaustion hit him. Linda and Ginger had been talking for an hour and a half, which was quite impressive. He turned, his restlessness continuing, then heard the familiar sound of the door opening along with Linda’s footsteps. She soon joined him in the guest bedroom bed, the mattress dipping beneath her weight as she sighed, snuggling close to him.

“Is everything...?” He asked, his voice uncertain, and then he fell silent, the words stuck in his throat. He also knew better. After seeing that display, the air felt thick and oppressive, and he knew they were anything but fine.

“No. Well, sort of. We are in a much better place than before. I… well, I don’t know if I should mention this, but I’ve dated a lot of guys. Ginger’s seen all of them come and go, and I didn’t realize how much I was neglecting her. It took everything I had to apologize and convince her you’re different. And when I say that, I need you to understand. I mean it.” She interlaced her fingers with his and held his gaze with a burning intensity. “I messed up with Ginger tonight, no question, but I would miss a lot of events for you. Bobby, I’m serious. I…”

She looked away as she bit her lip, and he could sense her struggle to find the words, while a feeling of anticipation rose inside of his chest. A feeling he couldn’t withhold anymore, and needed to get into the open before she could finish her thought, “Lin, I can’t believe I’m saying this on just our third date, but I think I love you.”

As the nickname rolled off his tongue, Linda met him with a temporary stunned silence. When she spoke again, her cheeks flushed with joy and her mouth widened into a delighted smile. “I was almost ready to say the same thing, but you got there first.”

“I—oh, wow.” He glanced at his hands, not daring to believe this woman, this astonishing, caring woman, had the same feelings as him. He knew he needed to leave for a moment, to collect his thoughts and come to terms with this new reality. Linda. Linda loving him. Perhaps this was a reality he could get used to faster than expected. “This is going to sound strange, but would you mind if I talked to Ginger, too?”

“Oh, you want to talk to her?” She blinked, and he could tell she was processing this request in her mind. “I’m sorry if I—”

“You didn’t scare me away, trust me. But now that I have confirmation you love me,” he gave a bashful grin, “I’d like to talk to her, let her know she shouldn’t be upset anymore. You’re friends. You shouldn’t be arguing like this.”

“I’m not sure how receptive she’ll be, but you can try.”

Ginger Snaps - this is one of my all time favourite films, I’m a sucker for all werewolf media as well as anything from the 90s/00s and I personally relate to being a fucking weirdo teenager

Tank Girl - this one’s just so much fun sci-fi I just love how silly it is

The Craft - might be my favourite film I’ve been obsessed with it since I first saw it as a teenager

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - I don’t really need to explain this one, truly one of the cosiest franchises, I could’ve put all three here tbh

What We Do in the Shadows - silly goofy fun but with vampires

Wolfwalkers - I could’ve picked any of the Irish folklore trilogy but this one is my personal favourite, the animation is the best and most unique I’ve seen, highly recommend any of the trilogy

The Lair of the White Worm - a new addition to my faves this movie is dumb and fun and ridiculous

Oh my god Zeke's stepmom is called Cheryl and Ginger (aka Mrs Pesto, Jimmy Jr's mom) has a cousin called Cheryl. If both Cheryl's are the same person that would explain why Zeke and Jimmy Jr are best friends despite having opposite personalities. (oh my god, it's all coming together)
