In Operation Friendly Skies, the voicemails in the car (not Daniel Sans) reveal some interesting things like:
A steampunk time traveler named Thadeus Bumblesnatch calling zor to give his $20 dollars back after it fell from his pocket from their last battle after it got pick up by one of zor’s henchman or clones.
Someone calling about a lost 15 foot long tiger shark with a laser strapped to its head named “Spot” with a tag that says it belongs to zor that was found in the girls high school’s swimming pool asking to get him out.
Zor’s next D&D campaign.
A shipment of electric eels from Mike T exotic pet store, & reminder that the “giant squid” won’t be picked up until next week.

Y’know I never got far with this and not sure I ever will. But I like the ideas I had. Maybe I’ll write it in long form sometime, maybe not, but hey, might as well ramble to the internet, right?
The idea of TangleFell was an swapped-fell AU where monster souls could form a soul-bond with another, giving some amount of telepathy between the two monsters. These were not easily severed once made… for better or worse. There was some exception where parents and children would have temporary soul bonds that naturally withered as the children grew, but otherwise required two people to be extremely close, whether romantically or platonically.
Being Undertale, of course I started with Sans and Papyrus lol. At first glance, Chain/Sans was meant to look like he was in charge, dragging his brother Papyrus/Lock(jaw) by a leash and collar with Papyrus physically unable to speak out against it due to his jaw being wired shut… But they had a soul bond and Lock was the one calling the shots, mentally manipulating, abusing, and sometimes outright controlling his brother remotely. Chain is the more physically powerful one and is, in fact, captain of the Royal guard!!! Also they were raised by the Snowdin dogs and sometimes this shows up in them being a bit dog-like hehe.
Then I made the rest and oh boy.
The ruins… actually look pretty nice. Monsters generally don’t want to kill you and it’s full of plants (and artificial lights) thanks to exiled king Asgore. He’d try to be nice to Frisk, try to raise them, but, well…
He had a soul bond with Toriel. And Toriel has lost her damned mind. Much like with the brothers, she haunts him sometimes. Enough that, inevitably, he ends up attacking Frisk and forcing them out.
The “Flowey” of this world is Temmie… who is actually Chara. Specifically, Chara ended up as a ghost Mad-Dummy style, but with determination! Though given that magic attacks can still hit ghosts, it hasn’t helped them much except against Frisk, on occasion.
The Temmie village is replaced with Flowey village! And I think these lil guys are my FAVORITES. So you see…
Undyne, the Royal scientist using the hydroelectric power produced in waterfall, naturally experimented with determination and started using the old flowers from the queen’s gardens. Unlike in Undertale where one came to life, the Flowey came to life en masse and, gradually, started piecing themselves back together into having a sort of hive-mind/soul, each having pieces that grew soul bonds with all the other Flowey. This means the Flowey are actually very nice and childish, but dear god they are scatter brained… usually. They managed to rub enough collective brain cells together to escape en masse as well. Which you’d think would be bad given the setting, but they also know if any other are attacked. Yeah, you attack one and have a whole fucking Flowey swarm pop up around you. Monsters learned fast to leave the harmless little weirdos alone. They really like the soil in “Flowey Village” and also visiting Asgore in the ruins. He also loves them. One likes to stay in his house with him in a pot: Buttercup! He was one of the earliest to awaken. Also, instead of Tem-Speak, well… “We Flowey Can shapeshift and emote really well :D”
Undyne, as stated, is the total scientist. She considers Toriel something of a mom, and Toriel funds the science for her own gain. The fact that Undyne does surveillance only helps in Toriel’s very paranoid eyes~ She’s just as enthusiastic as in canon, though in this AU she’s kinda an electric eel mermaid (but still fishy up top? Bleh) like in that she has an eel tail and if she wants to move about on land, she often uses a robo-Walker that she powers with her own electricity! But typically she instead relies on security systems and her possessed robot propaganda machine, Napster (who is also secretly a rebel but she doesn’t know that). Bread and circuses and all that, right?
Alphys USED to be part of the Royal guard, but she started a rebellion in Hotland and intend to overthrow the queen. Unfortunately for Frisk/you, the easiest way to do that is absorbing a human soul. Tough luck kid. This means she’s at odds with her old best friend: Sans… who also hates Toriel by now, but both he and Chain are deathly terrified of her, so they work under her. Alphys is pretty, uh… well not based on a real raptor, but on the Jurassic park versions, long legs and will chase your ass down.
And… Toriel. Well, long story short, it started somewhat Undertale-like, but Asgore’s rage spilled into her and she was too clever by half in starting war against humans and preparing monsters for it. She got paranoid, got some LOVE, and just went progressively more insane. Give her one soul and she’ll leave, but in this AU, other monsters got the fallen human souls first and got the fuck out of dodge.
Finally… Frisk! They start with a bit of LOVE because they got attacked by a monster on the surface. Yeah, some escaped. Yep, it’s bad. But the sheer power of their DETERMINATION melted it. People saw that Frisk “got control” of one and chucked them down to be eaten and, hopefully, usurp control of a monster and help them with the overpowered Super beings coming from this cave. They wanted no part of this.
So… yeah. Might say stuff about plot later, but there ya go.

How the heck had she let herself be talked into this? Ayumu wondered to herself.
She, her two girlfriends, Yuu and Setsuna, were joined by their friends and coworkers Ai and Rina, to set off fireworks.
But not just any ordinary fireworks. No. Somehow, Yuu had convinced Setsuna to try eating some metal salt Rina provided from her workshop at the theater. This had allowed the descendant of living flame to change the color of the fire she could breathe. It was a skill they had recently learned she had due to not needing the chili peppers they found at the farmer’s market. She had still kept the peppers as a special treat and was slowly working through the supply, but unlike the electric eel that caused her to hiccup lightning, they had no effect. Her ability to spit fire was her own.
And now, the five young women were headed to a park, where fireworks were allowed, to experiment. They had real fireworks with them in case anyone came to investigate, but the main attraction was the palette of various metal salts Rina had procured for Setsuna to consume.
“Ne, Rina-san!” Setsuna was already chomping at the bit. “Which one would make my flame red?”
“Strontium salts.” Rina held up one of the containers.
“Isn’t it supposed to be red though?” Yuu questioned, leaning in to examine the material.
“All of the salts I have are white.” Rina explained. “However, they will burn the color designated on the container.”
“Hee…” Setsuna accepted the strontium.
“Setsuna-san, I would like to try dissolving a small amount in your mouth first, instead of consuming everything in one go. I believe that will allow for a longer show, and allow us to change colors as desired.”
Setsuna nodded and pinched a few grains between her fingers before dabbing them on her tongue, giggling, likely at the flavor, which she surprisingly didn’t describe. She then took a breath and held it for half a second. Finally, she released a sizable burst of crimson flame.
“Experiment One: Success!” Yuu cheered.
“Yes, but we’re here for fireworks.” Setsuna said, taking another dose. “Let me try something…”
This time, instead of a stream of fire, Setsuna launched a small spark about half a meter into the air. Before it started arcing back down, it burst into what could pass as a classic firework.
“Experiment Two: Success!” This time Ai cheered.
Setsuna grinned with the praise. “I think I can get it to go higher…”
“This may help.” Rina held out what looked like a metal straw.
“Which one burns pink?”
“Lithium.”
“Green?”
“Barium.”
Setsuna held the tube in her teeth, took a pinch of each. Then, in quick succession, sent two beads up several meters to burst into pink and green plumes.
“This is even better than the lightning.” Yuu marveled.
“It really is amazing, Setsuna-chan.” Ayumu agreed.
“Want me to help you do three?” Yuu asked.
Setsuna nodded enthusiastically. A moment later, red, green and pink fireworks were launched.
“I know I’ve seen orange fireworks.” Yuu thought aloud. “But what about grey?”
“Calcium will be orange.” Rina stated. “A mix of magnesium and aluminum will burn silver.”
“A shiny grey.” Ai said, to which Rina nodded.
“Right.” Setstuna grabbed the indicated compounds.
Maybe this isn’t as bad as I thought. Ayumu thought, feeling a little guilty over not trusting her girlfriends to not take things out of hand. As giddy as both were, they were both still well in control. And Ayumu knew Rina had anti-fire measures on the chance they were needed.
“Want me to light some sparklers for you guys?” Setsuna suddenly offered.
Ai, Yuu and Ayumu agreed while Rina wished to monitor the metal salt supplies for the firework launcher. And with that, the show continued.

Author’s Note Continued: So yeah... Cthughan Setsuna can eat metal salts and spit fireworks now. Because why not? The better question is what else can I have her eat that might cause strange or fun effects?

I tell myself Yukon try
grabbing at straws
with all your might to no avail
even enlisting Strain gauge
in tandem donning
common cents equipage
with a bunch of bootlegged banshees
freed from their cage
and as last ditch resort
drafting electric eels.
Yours truly as shock absorber quite astute
accompanied by Jack and the Giant
beanstalk golems to boot
or lion eye zing tiger
(perhaps named Tony,
mean to the bone, but...oh so cute,
who dwells in a tony neighborhood),
swishing (Nike like) tail,
and held up ala playing the flute
an unseen hellacious, ferocious, atrocious
or outlandishly jowly, egregious beast,
who expelled offal asphyxiating
noxious, odious, pernicious, et cetra odor
from a moon unit sized Glute
yea, I could also allude
to some Monty Python flying dragon,
who gives nada hoot,
somehow remotely controlling
any errant cyber wayfaring day tripper
simultaneously while droning
sheepishly not to ram into ewe.
These high speed U-Haul trucks
combine all the above scenario,
to glean mental state of mine
aye know really sucks,
which gagging induces
the worst instance of reflux
making little rheum for ordinarily
phlegmatic ho hum (what me worry
Alfred E. Neuman
persona non grata) guy.
Sum total of available funds
(since being defrauded to the hilt)
to qualify for credit card,
would only feebly meet Karma
credit rating as risky business
approximating the quacking
of red hot inflamed ducks
(my apologies to PETA, Paul, Luke...),
they madly flap wings, yawping beaks,
visa vis masterfully discovered on par
with orange iz the new black
evidenced courtesy Wu Tang clan
in no way, shape, nor form
unrelated to que clucks clan.

(I know the monsters are already fantasy like sans and papyrus but I am still changing them)
Papyrus and gaster are demons
Sans is adopted in this Au and Sans is a slime
Asgore, toriel, and Asriel are still goats but look more like demons (demonic goats)
Flowey is a little Trent (living tree sapling)
Undyne is a Levithan
Alphys is a lizard man (basically more lizard than what she already is
Mettaton a wraith that controls a doll
the froggits are still frogs but are now poisonous (like dart frogs)
Sans is a Light Green slime with a Darker green core is his body, this Core covers his soul providing extra protection, Still acts like his Original Self, Sans is Adopted in this AU
Papyrus is a black demon with a tail, he still acts like his original self but is more of a combination of Lancer and Fell!Papyrus personality, He wants to be cool and show his "Evil side" and acts villainous but there are times where he slips up and becomes nice boi. He is also the son of a boss monster
Gaster is also a black demon but is also a Boss monster, He can still summon hands but these hands have red vertical eyes in the palms of these hands, While he is a good father, he can be cruel at times and has his dark moments but is overall a good person, Most of the time he is serious and never jokes much, sometimes he will laugh at Sans Pranks.
Gaster is the royal scientist but is also a boss monster
Undyne is still a humanoid Levithan, she still has legs but she also has a long tail similar to that of a electric eel, when is water she can transform her legs into the tail for better movement. She is more light blue now.
Alphys is still a yellow lizardman but is much more taller and has natural muscles, she has a venomous bite but its not deadly.

The Thames - Day 1, part 2!
The joy of boating in London, and even more so on the river, is the vast range of craft you see, from tiny little row boats to great gin palaces and everyone waves and smiles 😁
The passage is enlivened by a variety of Aits - these are small islands in the river, some are merely scrub covered bird perches while others have homes - a particular favourite is Eel Pie Island which is home to some unique homes and is an artist community.
As we leave Richmond behind, admiring Ham House on the crest of the hill and even more striking sight approaches us - The Royal Rowing Barge, Gloriana sans rowers but being powered by its impressive electric motors passes us with a cheery wave, on its way to the Jubilee Reflections Flotilla on 24th September. The 24 Carat gilding was beautiful in the sunshine and it was a treat to see:
As we approach Teddington the houses sport a wonderful array of boathouses and summer houses and it is hard to know when to stop snapping pictures - but here a couple of favourites:
Next hurdle - Teddington Lock, we find ourselves sharing with a trip boat and in order prevent boats from moving too much you have to hold the ropes front and back - I just about managed to take a picture while hanging on!
This lock marks the point where we leave the tidal river and move onto the non-tidal section - as the chandler’s shop isn’t open for Martin to buy engine oil, we decide to move on towards Kingston-upon-Thames to see if we can find a spot to moor up for the rest of the day and overnight.

It had been a few years since monsters got on the surface, and Gaster had become a lead scientist on studying mutations and such. As Frisk came over to visit, they overheard Gaster on the phone. “And the other specimen is to arrive on Wednesday, correct? Yes I have their enclosures set up.” He was saying
ZM
Frisk desides to speak up when gaster still hasn't noticed him. "Ahem- gaster?"
Core
“Oh Frisk!” Gaster said hanging up the phone. “I’m glad you came over, there is something I want to show you.” He said, signaling him to follow him to his lab downstairs.
ZM
Frisk hesitates but follows his newest friend anyway. The stairs were a long way down, easily reminding him of the first lab gaster had in the underground. "What is it doc? " he asks as they reach the bottom.
Core
Gaster had added four cells with one glass wall so he could see inside them. “Well, according to reports, there have been strange creatures discovered, they are not human, monster or animal, and may hold the key to an unlimited power source.” The first cell had a large pool and a small shore. A being was laying down, their head and upper body out of the water. (I have already described corrupted Killer so we are good). They seemed a little woozy. The second cell seemed like a dessert with a large board used as a spot for shade, the third was a rocky terrain and the fourth was empty. “Subject one arrived today, they found her in a lagoon off the amazon river, the sedative’s they used to keep her calm during the flight are still in her system so she is a tad bit disoriented, but the data I have already discovered is incredible!” Gaster said, clearly excited.
ZM
Frisk puts a hand on the first cell's glass. "....not to rain on your parade doc but she doesn't look too thrilled to be here. You just took her away from her home?"
Core
“Well, it was either that or the locals were planning on killing her, they call her Pathogen, and she was notorious for killing livestock and people that came to her lagoon.” Gaster explained. Pathogen moves her head and looked at Frisk, before trying to lunge at Frisk with an open mouth, hitting the glass.
ZM
Frisk flinched as his soul prepared for a battle that wasn't going to happen. He takes a step back. "Why have I never heard of these creatures? Sounds almost like an invasive species, like catfish"
Core
“Well, she’s the only one, the lagoon was polluted, the natural fish died off, but she didn’t. But what is so fascinating is that she has traits of lungfish, the electric eel and Viperfish, all in one.” Gaster said. Pathogen backed up, dragging her tail into the water, she had to be at least ten feet long.
ZM
"Hmm." He looks to gaster before moving to the next cell. "You said there are other reports of similar acurances. I presume you're going to gather as many as you can to see have they work. But don't you wonder where they came from? I haven't heard of any sightings like that while I was above ground."
Core
“Well, Pathogen was found by a secluded amazon tribe, subject two is coming on Wednesday, they are from some ruins in the Sahara desert, and subject three was found near Mount Fuji a few years ago. Though they are so unique, I feel as though they may have some connection to other worlds.” Gaster explained, the desert cell was empty, but was made to resemble an abandoned hut, probably for subject two to hide.
ZM
"Other worlds?" Frisk asks. "You can't mean they're from space."
Core
“No, like other earths, in different realities.” Gaster clarified. “We do need to feed subject three, do you want to help?”
ZM
Frisk had only heard such nonsense from sans and didn't quite get it then or now. "Yeah no problem." Frisk follows gaster to the fish "anyway, I came here for more than to hang with you, Papyrus invited you to dinner tonight." He informed.
“Is that so?” Gaster asked, subject 3 lives in the rocky terrain, she was stomping her feet to get their attention, since she knew they had food. “Now this one is rather friendly, though she might nip on accident.” Gaster explained, handing Frisk a small bag of smooth rocks.
ZM
"yeah, that is so, are you coming or what? Papyrus as been asking for weeks." He looks to the bag "....rocks?" Frisk fishes through them picking one up.
Core
“Yes I will go. And her core temperature is so high she melts these, she has no internal organs, but I have caught her eating rocks, and she seems to enjoy them. Tar jumped in a small circle, excited.
ZM
"See that's what you said the last 5 times he asked." Frisk goes over to tar ready to give her the rocks
Core
Tar quickly ate the rocks from his hands. “Look, I’ll go get ready now and I will head there with you. Ok?” Gaster said
ZM
"Alright, pff" As gaster goes upstairs frisk chats with the star. "Not animal huh. So you're either a sentient plant or more likely sentient mineral. Did you get lost in this world?'
Core
Tar finished up the rocks and purred softly, nuzzling Frisk in hopes of getting more.
ZM
"Heheh, I don't have anymore sorry." He turns the bag over to show her.
Core
Gaster came back in a casual outfit. Tar looked at the bag and begged again.
ZM
"not happening" he tells her and goes out of the cell to join gaster.
Core
She then played with a large plastic ball she had in her cell. “Okay, I’m ready to go.”
"i'm impressed. wonder if you'll get detracted on the way there." frisk says following him.
Core
“Chances are low.” Gaster replied bluntly. Tar kicked the ball with both feet as she played
ZM
frisk took one more glance to the star and followed gaster out of the lab. they go to stand by the bus stop. "so, what did you mean by 'unlimited energy source' ?
Core
“Well, Tar is made of living lava, the black shell being cooled off, She is always full of energy and always active, something is powering her, not sure what.” Gaster explained as the bus pulled up
ZM
"alright gaster. i trust you, but please try not to hurt them." frisk gets on the bus and pays.
Core
Gaster came on as well as the bus came to the brother’s house. “See brother? I told you he would come!” Papyrus cheered
ZM
"miracles never cease, paps." sans says with a yawn and his head on the table.
Core
Papyrus greeted his father as Gaster apologized for not coming Sooner. “Don’t worry about that! I made spaghetti!” Papyrus cheered
ZM
frisk goes over to the table, "gaster's found out some strange things paps, though that's pretty normal for him." he sits down.
Core
“Any new discoveries?” Papyrus asked. “Yes actually, these creatures are extremely well adapted for their environments, like they have been designed for them.”
ZM
"But the weird thing is how he thinks they're not from this world." Frisk takes some garlic bread he helped pap make. "Does no one find that weird except me?"
Core
Papyrus’s eyes light up. “So they are aliens?!” “No, no, I think they are from another reality.” Gaster explained
ZM
Sans rolls his head on the table to look towards gaster. "Funny that, you've gone obsessed with dementions sense you got stuck in the void, but back when I got my powers you thought me saying I went to another demention was complete nonsense. Oh how the times change."
Core
“Yes well these creatures may be from separate realities, ones with extreme biomes to cause such adaptations. One of them can survive on the sun’s surface theoretically.”
ZM
"Throw it in the core." Says sans. "The core's not as hot as the sun." Frisk squints. "True but it's a test." He shrugs.
Core
“She is made of lava sans, she lived in it.” Gaster said.
ZM
"Cool for it. We eating or what?" He rubs his eyesockets expecting paps and gaster to sit down.
Core
“Of course brother!” Papyrus said as he brought in the spaghetti, Gaster sat down and took a serving
ZM
Sans and Frisk do the same. "So papyrus, made any new friends at work?" Frisk asks
Core
“Not yet, But i am sure they will see my greatness too!”
ZM
"you're so right." Frisk nods. Sans hasn't taken a bite and seems to be mildly staring at gaster.
Core
Gaster took a bite, before taking another. Did he like it? No, but he wasn’t going to show that
Core
“Papyrus what is in this? If I may ask.” Gaster said. “Well, I tried adding Cinnamon! The human on that cooking show said it is always good to try different spices, and Sans says that so far Parsley was the best one.”
ZM
Sans nods to paps' statement. "And cinnamon's good on anything." He finally starts to eat but only after putting almost the entire bottle of ketchup on it.
Core
Gaster finished his plate, “Well you will have to send me some of the samples of your different kinds.” He said
ZM
Frisk looks at him as if to say 'you're brave'
Core
Gaster has a smile, as the soon started cleaning up dinner
ZM
they finish cleaning and sans goes up to gaster. "Dad, I know eternal power source has been your thing for as long as I can remember. But don't ya think that it'll make a lot of unnecessary trouble?"
Core
“Yes but it is just a bonus to studying these unknown species, which is the main focus of my current project.” He explained, drying the dishes
ZM
"...whatever you say." Undyne came crashing through the front door. "Papyrus holy heck!!!!" She runs over and grabs his shoulders.
Core
“Undyne! We just fixed that door!” Papyrus said loudly.
ZM
"Guess who just got a job on the police force! guess!!!!" She grins
Core
“You?” Papyrus guessed.
ZM
""That's right! Me and alphy went to a show to celebrate! It was wild." Alphys steps over the knocked over door.
Core
“That’s wonderful news!” Papyrus cheered. “Why hello Alphys.” Gaster greeted
ZM
"Oh h-hello sir! Good to see you left the lab." Alphys greets. "Got that right! And if you wanna get a job there now it'll be super easy!"
Core
“But if I do, who will watch after Sans?” Papyrus asked. “He could work for me again.” Gaster offered.
ZM
"What me? Work for you?" Sans asks
Core
“Yes, the creatures aren’t necessarily hard to care for, but to watch them all day can be quite boring by oneself.”
ZM
"Hah, I'd be a horrible babysitter." Sans shrugs. "And paps I don't need someone to look after me. I'll find a job soon."
Core
“I think it will be a good idea brother!” Papyrus said enthusiastically.
ZM
sans looks over to papyrus with a pleading look and mouths 'not with him'
Core
“Fine brother, but I wish you find a job soon.” Papyrus said. As the visit drew to a close, and everyone said their goodbyes, Gaster’s phone went off.
ZM
Frisk asks as he walks back with gaster. "Who's that?"
Core
“No one, but Tar got out again.” Gaster sighed. “She has figured out how to open her cell door and likes to mess with stuff.”
ZM
"She doesn't try to excape?"
Core
“No, she just likes to melt the locks and eat them, then tries to hold pens and such in her mouth.” Gaster explained.
ZM
"Weird."
Core
“We should get back before she burns anything too important.” He said as he left.
ZM
When they get there tar is chewing on a metal leg of a table
Core
She had molten the locks on her cell door. Gaster got some rocks, “come on girl, I know you need some new toys soon, but right now you need to behave. Tar perked up at the sound of the rocks and hopped over, she was unable to fly and could only hop and glide. “Frisk can you feed her while I fix the door?” Gaster asked.
ZM
"No problem." Frisk does as he was asked holding out a few large rocks.
Core
She trotted behind him easily gobbling up the rocks as Gaster used his magic to fix the door.
ZM
Frisk wondered how intelligent these creatures are, like human and monsters or more like animals. It was hard to tell. He took one rock and through it upwards at her.
Core
She jumped up, able to easily catch the rock.
ZM
He throws another one a bit higher
Core
Tar used her wings to balance herself to jump higher. She could jump up to 12 feet
ZM
the ceiling isn't nearly so high but she caught it with ease. frisk wanted another look at the water creature so he went over to her cage.
Core
She had been fed some fish and was tearing up her meal, when she saw him she raised the spines on her back and hissed
ZM
"So friendly." He lets tar get another out of his hand.
Core
“Well, She wasn’t treated the same as Tar,” Gaster explained Tar chirped and cooed, eating happily. Before going over to her ball and moving to Frisk, thinking he will play
ZM
He holds his hands up happy to play with her
Core
She backed up wanting him to kick it.
ZM
He drop kicks it to her, carful not to hit anything
ZM
Tar headbutts it back to whi
Core
She hopped in the air and used both feet to kick it back, obviously not concerned about his health

Frisk has no magic and that ball was coming fast so he thought the best action was to dodge. The ball instead hit a table behind him breaking a beaker

Gaster sighed, “I actually measured the force of her kick yesterday, turns out she can break a rhinoceros’ skull with her kick, so I have been trying to teach her to roll the ball.” Gaster explained, cleaning up the glass.
ZM
"yikes. you're scary tar." he picks up the ball and grabs gaster a broom.
Core
“Thank you.” Gaster said, Tar watched Gaster and tried sweeping with her feathers, though it was of little help
ZM
"does she eat glass as well? probably sounds weird but that's something i've always wanted to taste."
Core
“No, she d-“ Gaster saw Tar ‘sweeping’ “Good girl!” He praised. Tar immediately perked up as she knew that meant food and happily hopped over, claiming her reward.
ZM
"why not? it's basically rock?"
Core
“She doesn’t like it.” Gaster said, giving Tar her treat.
ZM
he shrugs.
Core
Tar finished her treat and went to get her ball again.
ZM
he placed it on the floor and gently rolled it to her.
Core
She pushed it with her head, before noticing Pathogen.
ZM
frisk looks over as well
Core
Tar went on over, sitting down before tapping the glass with her wing. Pathogen hissed and Tar answered with a chuff. Gaster quickly got a notepad to write about the interaction
ZM
frisk found gaster's notes unnecessary but didn't say anything. he scooted over to the glass as well. he waved to pathogen.
Core
Pathogen hissed louder. Tar nudged Frisk.
ZM
frisk looked at tar questioningly
Core
Tar got us and pushed Frisk about two feet from the glass, which calmed Pathogen a bit
ZM
"fiiiiiiiine." frisk lays on his back in defeat looking at the tiled ceiling.
Core
Pathogen and Tar kept chatting
ZM
"so whens the new one coming gaster?"
Core
“The two haven’t met yet, so this is actually quite interesting, especially with how timid Pathogen has been with us. And they are coming at 3 on Wednesday.” Gaster explained
ZM
"timid you say. seems to me she just wants to rip us up and get out of that cage."
Core
“She is trying to intimidate us, but when I entered her cell to give her food she hid in her underwater hide.”
ZM
"still clear she doesn't like us."
Core
“Well it took Tar a few days to adjust as well,” Pathogen whined as Tar continued to chat
ZM
"alright gaster." frisk never found pets, or any living thing in cages was a good thing. when he had a pet rabbit that he loved to pieces that he let leave one day happier than he'd ever seen it that's when he came to that conclution.
Core
Tar started to bite at the locks. “Tar, no.” Gaster scolded, and Tar whined softly.

frisk just watched from the floor.
Core
Tar yawned and chirped a goodbye to Pathogen as she rolled her ball back, she had made a rock nest in her cell with a large heating pad that Gaster installed.
ZM
frisk sits up and stretches. "can i sleep on your couch gaster? i don't really feel like going home."
Core
“Sure, I think I will stay here until these two go to sleep.”
ZM
"okay." frisk grabs his bookbag and heads up the stairs. he texted tori saying where he was before pulling out his homework he started on the couch.
Core
‘Ok that is fine, Asriel will pick you up tomorrow’ Toriel texted back. Pathogen got the courage to explore her cell a bit, rubbing against the kelp in the pool and going into her hide, which was like a beaver dam, with a camera so Gaster would know when she was in it. She checked around.
ZM
'k' frisk isn't the best with English, or history, or just homework but he did his best before shoving it away and falling asleep.
Core
The next morning he woke up to some toast and scrambled eggs on the coffee table for him
ZM
later that night gaster hears some ruckus in one of the cells
Core
Gaster ran down to see what had happened
ZM
frisk yawns and looks around for gaster, starting to eat the eggs though he didn't particularly want to eat. downstairs there was a creature similar to the others ripping at pathogen's lock and managing to get it open.

Gaster quickly went over. Using his magic to move the creature away
ZM
it hissed and darted to him going for his face.
Core
(So The Corrupted characters are based on biomes, desert, bog, jungle and volcano are taken) He put it in the fourth empty cell. “I don’t know how you got in here...”
ZM
(taking tundra) it wasn't so easy for gaster. this corrupted star was really wanting to free pathogen it whipped it's tail at gaster hoping to knock the wind out of him.
Core
It worked, Pathogen was in her hide, with the only entrance being under the water. Tar woke up and saw this, hissing madly at the intruder
ZM
water was no problem for the star as it's main food is seal. the star called for her to leave with her.
Core
Tar opened her door with ease, but kicked the invader, not happy with them attacking
ZM
her name's fleece (color sans based) so i don't have to keep calling her the star. fleece bared her fangs confused as to why they are unpleased.
Core
Tar started chatting, explaining to Fleece that Gaster was good and gave them toys and food and nice warm nest and that Fleece was being a bully.
ZM
Fleece was bewildered by tar, she tried to make sure pathogen felt the sameway.
Core
tar helped Gaster get up.
Pathogen was still asleep
ZM
fleece ducked under the dam and chuffed at her to wake her up. shaking her back and forth with her long tail.
Core
Pathogen jumped and spun around, spines up as she backed up. ‘Who are you? Go away! I will kill you!’
ZM
'i'm trying to help you get out of this place' she took a step back and went back into the water peeking her head out.
Core
‘Place was safe! You unsafe!’ She hissed, her stripes starting to glow.
ZM
she growls 'this is your chance so come or don't i'm out of here.' she swims down and back out jumping out of the water being instantly attacked by gaster and tar.
Core
Tar pinned Fleece, ‘bad!’ She hissed as Gaster used his magic
ZM
fleece bit at tar's neck
Core
Gaster blocked Fleece’s bite with his arm. “Come on, easy, I don’t want to hurt you.”
ZM
frisk came down at all the noise. "??? what?" he asks himself. fleece squirmed to get free but was unable. she used her tail to try to get leverage but she just couldn't.
Core
Tar then laid on Fleece. ‘Sleepy.’ She cooed. Gaster sighed. “Frisk can you get the first aid?” He asked, before trying to get Fleece to the fourth cell.
ZM
'why do you do this! i just wanted to help' she yells at tar. frisk gets pulled out of his shock. "o-of course!" he went to get it.
Core
‘You hurt friend!’ Tar replied getting off of Fleece once they were in the cell and then running to go check on Pathogen
ZM
she dashed for the cell door but it closed in her face as she ran into it. she shakes her head and howls her displeasure. frisk comes back and hands him the kit.
Core
“Sorry buddy, but this is just until I learn how to fix it up for you” Gaster said calmly as he wrapped bandages around his arm. Tar couldn��t go in the water, so just tried to talk to Pathogen, Fleece could hear. ‘You ok fishy?’ ‘Is the bear thing gone?’ ‘In time out! Was bad, no toys’ ‘Toys?’ ‘Yeah! Like ball! Ball is fun! Friend gave me ball!’ Tar cheered as she hopped on the hill that the hide was under, finding a toy with a bell. ‘You have toy! Here!’ She dropped it into the water. Pathogen poked her head out and saw the shiny toy, it was like a frog with bell feet. ‘Pretty’

"how'd it get in here?" frisk asks. fleece calls over 'i wasn't bad i didn't do anything worng!'
Core
‘You scared Fishy and hurt friend! That bad!’ Tar squawked. “Easy Tar, quiet voice remember girl?” Gaster said. “And I am not sure, the doors were all locked, it is probably like Tar, were it can mess with locks if it gets in contact, but then again Tar doesn’t have to be on the same side as the lock.” Gaster explained. “Also, I made something for Tar last night. Might as well give it to her now.”

frisk and fleece look over to the item

It looked like a sick monkey, but was made of the same material as Tar’s ball. “Tar come over here please.” ‘Oh? Game? I like game!’ Tar purred, going over. “I really appreciate your help so would you like a new toy?” ‘Yes! New toy! Ball have friend!” She squawked happily. Gaster gave her the sock monkey and she trotted over to show Fleece. ‘See? Be good, get toy! Toy fun!’ She purred, before going to put the toy in her nest with her ball, tossing it around.

Gaster soon made some breakfast for everyone, including Fleece, fish and shellfish for Pathogen, rocks for tar and some chicken to test with Fleece.

'i don't want your dumb toy' fleece ate the chicken as she was quite hungry.

frisk's school starts in just a bit so he went upstairs to wait for asy.

When Gaster saw how quickly Fleece ate he paused. “Do you want some more?” He asked. Pathogen hid her toy and went to eat, while Tar tried feeding her new toy. Asriel soon pulled up. “Come on Frisk, we don’t wanna be late.”

frisk didn't really respond as he got in the car. when gaster held more food up fleece walked forward and put her paws on the front glass

Gaster noises and gave her more food, adding fish this time to see if Fleece preffered that. “Something wrong Frisk?” Asriel asked as he started driving.*nodds
ZM
fleece wasn't into the fish as she didn't seem to like the scales and lots of bones but she ate them both anyway. satisfied she lays down while glaring at gaster. "oh, uh not really. it was just really crazy over at gaster's place. and i don't want to go to school, but what else is new."

“Next meal is in a few hours, and we will stick with chicken.” Gaster explained. ‘Food yummy! Where you from? I from volcano!’ Tar talked to the sock monkey, clearly pleased with her new toy “Well, Maybe you could ask to get credits from working there?” Asriel suggested.
ZM
"that's a thought. i guess i could try" frisk replied as he got out with his bookbag. "thanks as" fleece walked in circles in her cell. seemingly waiting. a bit later she goet enough energy to teleport. she can only go a few yards most the time but it's incredibly helpful with catching prey. gaster had left the area getting food or whatever. she succeeded and dizzily ran up the stairs. she's anything but small and getting through door frames wasn't easy.

“No problem! See you later.” Asriel said as he waved The door was locked and Tar squawked loudly to let Gaster know Fleece got out, knowing she would get a reward. Gaster came downstairs. “Come on Buddy, how’d you get out?”
ZM
'i hate you' she growled at tar. gaster tried to usher her to the cell. she clawed at the door instead.

“Come on buddy. We need to fix up your cell anyway.” Gaster ushered, the metal door not budging.
ZM
frisk went to school and not a less than impressive grade on his homework. frisk was new to the school and he's had a hard time making friends due to he's a well known figure. he goes up to his teacher after class. "hello, um i was wondering if i could work at a lab part time for credit in school? i'll give you the info if you want it."
she rammed into it head first instead. it didn't budge. she walked in circles again annoyed.

“Well who is running the lab, we can see then.” Mrs. Applegate said
ZM

"here," he hands her a paper with all the info about the lab.

“Good luck Frisk.” She said “RAPE!” A girl named Cindy yelled “Can it Cindy!”

frisk rolls his eyes and headed to lunch. she rammed into it head first instead. it didn't budge. she walked in circles again annoyed.

Gaster sighed and started working on her cell, making a small creek with crayfish and some rocks to climb up, he also hide a puzzle toy that gave treats when solved. “Come on buddy, it’s all done.” Gaster said. There was the school bully, a girl named Crescent.
ZM
she paws at the door one more time before giving up and sauntering to the cell and climbing on the tallest rock. frisk sat down keeping an eye on crescent who was talking to someone, it seemed to be turning into a fight.

“Well? What do you think?” Gaster asked. Crescent slammed the kid into a wall, she was always the strongest kid in school and some of the teachers were even scared of her.
ZM
she clearly had almost no energy left and seemed overheated as she lazily watched gaster. frisk got up and ran over to her. "crescent."
Core
He turned the thermostat to a cool 30 degrees in her cell. “What do you want brat?” She hissed at Frisk.
ZM
fleece was much more comfortable. "I want you to leave her alone." he replied simply.
Core
“There ya go, enjoy yourself. I hid a toy in here if you get bored.“ Gaster said before leaving the cell. “And why should I listen to a shrimp like you?” She hissed, dropping the kid to be able to grab Frisk.
ZM
frisk barely manages to dodge her grab "no real reason." fleece called to killer as she grabbed the puzzle in her mouth and layed back down. it was one of those rubber things that have food in it.
Core
“Then stay the f*ck out of my way.” Crescent replied ‘What do you want?’ Pathogen hissed.
ZM
"i can't stand by and watch you hurt someone." 'are you sure it's safe? you want to stay but the skeleton has a strange aura.' she goes back to biting it.

“Then I should make you blind.” Crescent suggests. ‘He hasn’t hurt me, unlike humans from home.’ Pathogen replied as Gaster was recording there chirps and clicks.
ZM
'could find you a better home with no humans.' "haha, well you can try!" frisk grins

‘Humans taken over most places I could live, scare away all the food.’ “Tonight, you can kiss your sight goodbye.” Crescent said
ZM
frisk waits for her to make a move 'there are places. you'd be safer.'

Crescent turned away. ‘I hardly believe that’ pathogen replied

Fleece insisted that they would find a place for her far from people. She doesn't trust gaster, what if he hurts you? Frisk tilted his head questioning.
‘He has us do games once in a while, and the only time he hurt me was a small pinch.’

'But when he gets you comfortable what if he betrays you? What then?'
ZM
"Well Cresent?" Frisk asks

‘Tar has been here longer, and seems to love it here.’ Pathogen said, going in the water. ‘Though I don’t like these plants’ she rupped them up and put them on shore. “See you tonight shrimp.” She warned
ZM
Fleece gives up. Clearly there was no changing her mind unless she found proof of danger. Frisk didn't get it and went over to the kid who was bullied "you alright? What was that about?"
Core
“I-I tried to sit down and that was her seat, t-thank you.” The girl said. Pathogen finished remodeling. “Who’s ready for lunch?” Gaster called. ‘Me! Me!’ Tar chatted
ZM
"No problem, sorry about that. Like to sit with me until lunch is over?" Fleece laid on her rock facing the wall.
Core
“Yes, that sounds lovely.” She smiled. “Today we are gonna try some new things, if you don’t like it, just push the plate away and I’ll get you what you normally have.” Gaster explained, giving squid to Pathogen, Geodes to Tar and red meat to Fleece
ZM
Fleece didn't want to encurage gaster so she stayed on the rock. They went and finished up lunch together. "What do you think she ment by 'see you tonight'? Will she come to my house or something?"
Core
Gaster walked away from the cells to let them eats in peace, “Probably, Crescent isn’t one to mess around, my big brother S.C. Stood up to her and got both his legs snapped....” she shivered at the memory
ZM
"Whoa. I'll keep that in mind." He laughs nervously. Fleece grabbed the meat and took it back to her rock to eat.
Core
“Beef and pork are a check.” She could hear Gaster, “we are geodes, squid is a negative.” He said before getting up to give Pathogen fish again. “She’s not someone to mess with, that’s for sure. My name is Lux by the way.”
ZM
"Well hello lux, I'm frisk. It was nice talking to you" right after he said that and stood up the bell rang. Fleece couldn't see gaster and that made her irritated as she ripped into the meet

Normally at time he would go to class again, but now he could go to the lab. Gaster sighed. “It’s a camera Buddy, it’s so I can make sure you’re doing ok.”
ZM
And so he did just that. He used the hidden key to get into the lab "gaster?" He called as he shut the door behind him.
Core
“Oh, hello Frisk, you’re out of school early.” Gaster said.
ZM
"About that, the teacher said I'm aloud to get credits here instead of going to school. If you'll allow it of course." Fleece fell asleep, she kinda over ate.
Core
“Of course I would allow that, I could use a dependable extra set of hands, especially with the new specimen coming tomorrow.”
ZM
"Great! What would you like me to start on?" He asks
Core
“Pathogen tore up her kelp, mind removing it?”
ZM
"Alright." He goes over to her cell and slips in finding the kelp on the land. He gathers it and knowing gaster can hear him he continues "someone said they'd blind me tonight"
Core
“Well That is horrible.” Gaster said. Pathogen pushed the kelp on the shore, clearly showing she didn’t like it
ZM
Frisk grabbed the extra she was putting on land, with an arm full he went to put it back where it belonged. "It was strange. Apperently she's not bluffing because she broke both of a guys legs for a similar reason"

“Well, Perhaps you should stay here.”
ZM
"I don't know how she'd even know where I live. Maybe she has another way of tracking people down."
Core
“Perhaps.” Gaster said.
ZM
frisk goes over to sit by gaster. "perhaps indeed."
Core
Gaster was watching what Tar was up to, she had stayed in her nest all day.
ZM
frisk looks as well. tar had the monkey and ball right by her.
Core
‘Too... cold’ Tar whined softly. “Something isn’t right with her today.” Gaster said
ZM
frisk shrugs. "did you change anything about her diet or cell?"
Core
“No, nothing major.” He said, going over into Tar’s cell
ZM
frisk follows and puts a hand on the glass instantly pulling away from the less then warm temperature. "wasn't it warmer in there when i was here last?"
Core
Gaster places a had on her heating pad. “The pad is fried, so she isn’t getting her heat she needs.” He said, “you stay with her while I run to the store to get some more.”
ZM
"alright" like he has a choice he sits by tar's cage.
Core
Tar whined softly
ZM
frisk goes a little closer. "it'll be alright tar friend." fleece was woken up by tar's whining 'shut up!' she growls pulling her tail around herself.
Core
Tar whimpered softy. Gaster soon returned with the heating pads and a heated blacket
ZM
gaster plugged them in as they slowly heated up tar.
Tar soon purred. ‘Thank you friend.’
ZM
frisk smiled happy tar's content and looked to his phone to check the time.
Core
It was 2:30
ZM
"i should get back for the last bit of school. I'll probably come back later tonight if that's alright." he got ready to leave.
Core
“That is perfectly fine, Frisk.” Gaster said
ZM
he waved to tar and left. when he got back to school he got everything he needed and kept his eyes open for Crescent.

The rest of the day carried on as normal.

and so frisk started to walk home.

As he walked he got a chill up hid spine

He instinctively looked around himself with his shoulders up high. He hadn't had a real fight in a while and he's frankly scared.

He soon heard soft hissing nearby
ZM
He stopped in his tracks and looked over to the bushes by him.

“Seems like you are already blind.~” a voice hissed
ZM
"What the hell are you talking about?"

He heard someone clap there hands from a roof top. “Dumb and blind, how amusing.”
ZM
He looked up "...I don't follow."
Core
He saw Crescent, but she was covered in black with blue markings on her face and a moon symbol on her forehead. “I’m not one to go back on my word, good two shoes.”
ZM
He was taken aback by her appearance. "What happened to you?" He chuckled.
Core
“I was born like this, now, to do what I said I would.” She hissed.
ZM
"go ahead Cresent. Stop threatening and just do it."
Core
two tentacle like limbs came from her back, but the limbs looked like centipedes as they had flexible spines. She jumped down, using one of these limbs to grab him
ZM
Frisk pulled at the limbs to loosen them. He coughed trying to think of anything to say he was pretty safe considering reset and all but this still was anything but pleasent. "Haha, sooo. Gonna jab them out? Or do you prefer other methods?"
Core
Crescent showed her claws, even if compared to other stars, they were much longer than normal.
ZM
Chara is a tad younger, in the grade below frisk. Chara knew something wasn't right the moment frisk started walking home early. Even though neither of them have friends at the school he would always mess around school until they kicked them out. Chara pulled out her switch blade and snuck behind crescent stabbing her in the shoulder.

Crescent hissed and spun around, swatting Chara to the side
ZM
Chara jumped over the appendage and Frisk managed to slip away when crescent was destracted.
Core
“Stupid brat!!” Crescent hissed loudly. Grabbing Frisk’s leg and pulling him back
ZM
"Frisk damn it, are you ever not in trouble." Chara scowls, Frisk laughs nervously. Frisk has nothing special in his invetory and knows almost nothing about crescent making this pretty impossible for frisk. As he got dragged up under crescent he popped one of his best one liners (I can't think of one, I'm not smooth ) he winks and used finger guns.

“Are you a vampire? Because you are timeless.”)) Crescent slashed his face with her claws. “Idiot! I’m les.”
ZM
"Owwww, sorry" he laughs nervously trying to pull his hand up to wipe the blood off his face but she pulls it back down and pins it against the sidewalk. "Hey lady. Knock that the f*ck off. What ever this looser said to you isn't worth this shit." Chara growls.
Core
“Not until I blind him.” Crescent hissed, slashing again, getting an eye
ZM
Chara grabbed her neck in a headlock and slashed backward at crescents own eye.
ZM
"Get lost!" Chara hissed
Core
Crescent hissed at this and let go of Frisk. “I’ll be back, goodie two shoes.”
ZM
"If you do I'll kill you lady! You leave my family alone or you've made a very unstable enemy." Chara pushes crescents head down hard.
Core
Crescent smacked Chara away and fled
ZM
"tch." Chara looks at frisk for a second who is holding his eye as it drips blood. "You need to grow a backbone frisk." She starts to walk away as frisk gets up to his feet.
Core
The rest of the wall was peaceful.

Frisk pulls his hand away from his eye, he wasn't walking home he was just standing there. There was a lot of blood on his hand. He wasn't going home cause he didn't want to do that to tori. So he walked to gaster's with his hand back on his eye.
He knocked not wanting to get blood on the door

Gaster was preparing dinner. He heard the knock and walkedover to the door. When he saw Frisk he ushered him inside to help the boy
ZM
"Heheh, well, wasn't exactly nighttime, she took me off guard is all." He joked.
Core
“Did she hurt you anywhere else?” He asked.
ZM
"Idunno. All I can feel is the eye."
Core
Gaster stitched up the gashes. “I don’t think I can save the eye...”
ZM
Fleece smelled blood even through the glass. 'What is that? This gaster killed someone' she asks the others. Frisk shrugs. "Least I've got one eye. Chara gashed out the attacker's eye too. So we match. I kinda felt bad I didn't tell chara to stop."
Core
Tar got up. ‘I check.’ She broke her locks and went on upstairs. “I would have done worse to them.” Gaster admitted
ZM
"No need gaster. I'm not worth the trouble." He waves a hand in dismissal before he notices tar. "Look who's out and about."
Core
Tar went over, whining, worried about Frisk, she nuzzled him.
ZM
"Heheh, Aw I'm okay tar." He patted her head.
Fleece calls loudly wanting to know what's going on up there
Core
‘Human friend hurt’ she whined, nuzzling Frisk more.
ZM
'Ah. Why?' Fleece asks. Tars squawks kinda hurt frisks head.
Core
Tar noticed this and got quieter as she cuddled with Frisk. ‘Eye missing’
ZM
Fleece wondered why but she was sure she'd learn eventually so she was quiet. Frisk laughed it off. "Gaster, have you ever seen a monster or human... change shape, grow tentacles or anything like that?"
Core
“There was an old folklore of something like that I found in waterfall once.” Tar stayed with Frisk
ZM
"...would you tell me about it?" Frisk leans against tar
Core
Tar purred at this. “It was a poem, it went something like; ‘Two sisters of might, One of day one of night The people grew mad At the sister they saw as bad They attacked her with fire And in a moment so dire, She turned into a beast And on their flesh she did feast The sister of day tried to stop this And her life continued on a near miss, The sister of night fled Only to be seen when one goes to bed’”

"....crescent, the one who attacked me, did specifically say she'd attack me at night. It may be dumb to consider,but do you think she could be related"

“It’s possible, since I highly doubt the original sisters to still be alive.”
ZM
Frisk nods. His phone rings and he looks at it. 'Heyo kiddo, tori's freaking out. You should probs text her or somethin' frisk puts the phone back.

“Who was it?” Gaster asked
ZM
"It's just sans." He gets up and really bad wants to scratch at the bandages but he refrains. He relized he's much more dizzy than he thought he was so he just plops back down.
Core
Tar laid on top of him, snuggling like she was gonna protect him
ZM
Frisk appreciated that leaning on her as well. Chara was home, had blood on her, was asked what happened and she told exactly what did. "Ma, he's fine! He just wants some time to himself" she said
Core
Toriel cleaned Chara up. “Where is he? He needs medical attention!”
ZM
"How should I know?"
Core
Toriel called Frisk again
ZM
Frisk took a long sigh before picking up. "Yes?" He sounded tired.
Core
“Where are you! Are you ok? Did you get medical assistance?”
ZM
"Yep."
Core
“Are you safe? Where are you?”
ZM
"...okay, look, I love you mom, and I'm safe but I'm going to hang up now." Chara messes with the disinfectant tori had out. She dipped a cotton ball in there and started drawing with it on the table.
Core
Toriel sighed. “He better be home by 9 tomorrow or He is grounded.” Tar looked at the phone and cooed softly.
ZM
"Heh." Chara snickered. He looked to tar. "You want to try it out?" He holds the phone to her after making sure texting and calling were locked.
Core
Tar messed with it, before biting it. “So tomorrow our new arrival is coming. They seem to have traits similar to moths, so we will need to use a laser pointer to lure her to her cell.” Gaster explained while going to feed everyone.
ZM
Frisk didn't care. He didn't like phones anyway. "Cool, moths are interesting."
Core
Pathogen didn’t want to eat, not hungry. Gaster gave Fleece her plate. Before coming back upstairs to give Tar her geodes. Tar tossed the phone away. “Yes well, they are responsible for the missing archeologists from 2015.” Gaster explained, showing Frisk some pictures. This corrupted being had large dark brown wings with a yellow sun pattern, there was a picture of them hanging upside down from some ruins, then a blurred one of them attacking the camera man.
ZM
"How are they transporting her"
Core
“By boat, turns out if you don’t wake them up when they are hanging, they will accept touch, so while they were hanging, the team sedated them, then it was a two day boat trip.” Gaster explained.
ZM
"Noted" he helps to finish up taking care of the stars for the day and he goes to bed.
Core
Tar followed him, still worried.
ZM
He's too tired to protest so he just plops on the couch and is asleep rather quickly
Core
Tar fell asleep with him, Gaster made sure to give her a heated blanket.
Core
“Frisk I need you to close the blinds, I want our new guest to easily see the laser.” Gaster instructed
ZM
He does that and hurries back to gaster
Core
The people soon arrived with the semi, “you ready for it? Because it is feisty.” A man asked. Gaster nodded and turned on the laser pointer
ZM
Frisk picked up his phone that was flashing and buried it in his pocket. Fleece was excited to see what was going on.
Core
The men opened the doors of the semi and Gaster and Frisk could see two faintly glowing sun patterns. “There they are...” Gaster whispered as he tried to use the laser pointer to get there attention.
ZM
Frisk watched silently as the star shifted in the truck.
Core
They followed the laser, seemingly entranced by the light. Gaster had set a glowing toy in the cell for them. Gaster slowly lead them downstairs and to their cell. Once the laser pointer was gone, they grabbed the toy and went into their new hide. Drinking some water that was there
ZM
The glass shut and that was that. They turned back on the lights, the moths cages glass was special an kept it dark in there while still being see through.
Core
Gaster spoke with the men, learning that the locals had called them Sonora, and praised her as the ‘daughter of the sun’
ZM
"sounds like that story again huh gaster." Frisk states.
Core
“Yes it does, well thank you guys and I will share the notes with you.” Gaster said as the men left.

Frisk hurries back over to its cage ro get a better look.
Core
She used her large wings to flip herself upside down, grabbing the roof as she hung, before wrapping her wings around herself

“Setsuna-chan! Setsuna-chan!” Yuu called excitedly. “Look!”
“Ghost peppers?” Setsuna read the sign to which Yuu was pointing.
“Yeah! Do you think eating one would turn you into a ghost?”
“Yuu-chan…” Ayumu protested, noticing the strange expression of the man on the other side of farmer’s market table.
Ever since Setsuna had hiccupped lightning after eating electric eel, Yuu had been trying to find similar results by having her eat other foods. And while Ayumu was learning to be amused by Setsuna’s… adventurous appetite, she wished her girlfriends would be more subtle about things while out in public.
“I doubt it.” Setsuna replied.
“But the eel…” Yuu insisted.
“Was actually electric, not just named as such.” Setsuna examined the bags of peppers. “These do not appear to have any phantasmic properties. At least none that I can detect.”
“Hrm… but they are supposed to be hot.” Yuu said. “Like really really hot, right Nōka-san?” She addressed the man, presuming his farming profession.
“170 times hotter than Tobasco.” He confirmed.
That caught Setsuna’s attention, and her eyes gained a glimmer as she reexamined the bags. However, her excitement was quickly quashed as she noticed the price.
“Oh, don’t worry about that.” Yuu said, covering the sign with her hand. “I’ll get them if you want to try some. After all, it was me who pointed them out.”
“Are you sure?”
Yuu was already digging out her wallet.
“It would seem you have not had these types of peppers before, Ojousan.” The man commented as he handed Yuu her change. “I would be happy to suggest some u… O-Ojousan?!”
Setsuna took a sizable bite out of one of the peppers. “Delicious…” She murmured, holding a hand in front of her mouth to block others’ view of her chewing. “Absolutely wonderful…” She ate the rest of the pepper, including the stem.
“She really likes peppers.” Ayumu explained to the man staring at Setsuna in shock.
“R… Right…” He replied.
“Ne, Setsuna-chan!” Yuu called, having moved down the display table. “Trinidad moruga scorpion peppers. I dunno what a Trinidad moruga is, but maybe you can turn into a scorpion?”
“Yuu-chan…” Ayumu shook her head.
Thankfully, the man behind the table seemed to have already adjusted to the oddities of his new customers and moved to accommodate Yuu’s purchase.

“So, you didn’t turn into a ghost, scorpion, naga viper or reaper.” Yuu lamented as the trio headed home.
“Sorry to disappoint.” Setsuna laughed.
“Although I think Setsuna-chan wouldn’t make a very good grim reaper. Is there such thing as a super genki reaper?”
“I… I’m not sure…” Pink dusted Setsuna’s cheeks at the strange compliment. “A-Anyway, thank you again for buying all these delicious peppers. You two really spoil me too much sometimes.” She referenced the fact that Ayumu had bought a couple bags for her as well.
“I’m glad you found something you enjoy so much.” Ayumu replied with a smile.
Setsuna hummed happily while hugging the bag to her chest like some precious treasure.
“However, they’re still so hot,” Yuu continued to ponder “I’m surprised you’re not breathing fire.”
“Yuu-chan…” Ayumu muttered.
“I can do that on my own.” Setsuna demonstrated by puffing a tiny gout of flame.
“Setsuna-chan…”
“That’s. So. Cool!” Yuu squeed, glomping her girlfriend.
Well, at least she kept it small enough that nobody else noticed. Ayumu thought.
“Do it again, but bigger!”

Author’s Note Continued: I feel like there was a Niji clip, one of the simple animations with just their heads surrounded by their image colors, that depicts Setsuna eating something that ended up being too hot for her. And while I may follow that idea in my canon compliant works, I see no need to do so here in an AU. Cthughan Setsuna loves capsicum. A lot.
Also, I very much enjoy the idea of Yuu intentionally seeking out new foods for Setsuna to try in hopes that they will have some strange effect on her. As if hiccupping lightning wasn’t enough. And on that note, that chapter can be found back in my Promptober 2021 event collection. And the chapter Festival Night in the same collection follows a similar theme.
