It's official - Anya IS the most fashionable of them all; at least according to Brindleton's Bazaar.

The glossy magazine and Brindleton's "fashion bible" has named The Crown Princess as the Year's Best Dressed for the second time in a row.

The magazine shared some of the best looks Anya has worn through the years, and we have to agree. She does look quite phenomenal in every single outfit! We have serious closet envy!

(Above: She may only still be a Crown Princess, but she's already been crowned Queen of Fashion - be it green, yellow, red, black, or white, Anya looks great in whatever hue she wears!)

Brindleton's Bazaar Editor-in-Chief shared that the selection was spearheaded by fashion movers and shakers as well as the masses by means of an online poll. In a new interview, the fashion mag's EIC shared:

"The Crown Princess won by a landslide, beating actresses, models, and other powerful and stylish women - including her own mum, The Queen.

Her Royal Highness, has, time and again, proven that she is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to fashion. She exudes class, grace, and elegance but somehow manages to remain young and trendy at the same time. She doesn't limit herself to just designer brands - she makes a §10 shirt look like a thousand bucks. That's how well she carries clothes.

Worldwide, she has started a phenomenon that stylists and designers call 'The Anya Touch' - everything she touches, or wears, turns to gold, causing the items to go out of stock in mere minutes. It's no surprise she topped this year's list again. Everyone wants to dress like The Crown Princess."

The controversial Princess, who is the Family's self-proclaimed 'fashionista,' recently attended the Brindleton Fashion Week dressed in a sheer black Draap dress. The stint, insiders claim, has reportedly earned HRH a serious reprimand from her mum:

"The Queen was embarrassed, to say the least. She actually called E in after she arrived and lectured her about wearing 'appropriate' clothes. The Queen somehow feels that E is doing it on purpose, wearing sheer and slinky outfits just to piss her off. I think it's safe to say that The Queen does not trust her daughter, and with good reason. E has been provoking her constantly. If she wants to keep acting like a petulant child, then she'll be treated like one."

Her Majesty has reportedly told off E and warned her to "dress like a Princess, not like a desperate starlet."

"In my opinion, Princess E -bless her heart - tries too hard. We always see her with the big brand and high-priced pieces, and she seems to gravitate towards the slinkier cuts perhaps to be the 'daring' royal in a sea of demure seemingly cookie-cutter royal women. But in her case, the risks she is taking don't seem to pay off. She comes off as haughty and to be quite honest, desperate. She's a PRINCESS for crying out loud. She shouldn't cheapen herself and compete with every single actor, model and wannabe influencer out there. She has the best clothes at her disposal. Ouch! That must sting for Princess E seeing how she prides herself in being a huge supporter and lover of all things fashion and claims that she's the 'fashionable one' in the Family. Maybe take some cues from your big sister? She seems to be doing fine in the fashion department!

Goodness, ELEANOR RAMSEY has arrived in London. SHE is 24, of the LONDON RAMSEYS. Though they are RETURNED to the Season, we can only describe them as DRIVEN and CREATIVE, dear reader. Accompanied by A THEATER COMPANY, they have settled in and are accepting social calls. But be warned: they are known for their CAPRICIOUS MOMENTS.

Eleanor is the eldest child of a wealthy gentry family that has lived in London for ages. She has three younger brothers and one younger sister. Her father Theodore is a well-respected, jovial member of society, and her mother Luisa is a kind-hearted, gregarious woman from a family in Italy. Their household is loud and boisterous with rarely any moment of quiet.

You can get away with calling her “Nora” or “Elle” if you’re friends with her or have known her for a very long time. Otherwise she will give you one warning if you call her by a nickname then excuse herself from the conversation if it happens again.

She’s always enjoyed receiving attention and being at the center of the action. Extremely outgoing, she’s a social butterfly and capable of adapting to most situations. However, her mood has a habit of sometimes quickly switching.

She debuted four years ago, when she was twenty, right before she became an actress. She had a good time, but she decided that marriage probably wasn’t the path for her then. Maybe never. She liked kissing gentlemen and flirting and everything but the idea of being tied down forever to some Lord Fiddle-Faddle of Fluffington...no. She pretty much peaced out of the fancy life and joined the theater after that Season, to her family’s shock and mild dismay. But she has three brothers and they can carry on the family line just fine without her, though her parents would’ve preferred for her to take a stage name, really, dear…

Eleanor loves a good party and loathes boring ones. She’ll do her best to liven things up if things get too dull, sometimes with disastrous effects.

The theater is her true calling. She lives for the stage and her craft. Don’t try to take it away from her and you’ll probably get along just fine.

Her wardrobe is spectacular.

She has a jerboa as a pet. Her name is Dorine, and she was a gift.

OOC: Hiii, this is my last and final character, Eleanor! She’s out to have fun and be famous and stuff and not all that interested in marriage, but WHO KNOWS what will happen! She’s a London fixture and a starlet, so friends and acquaintances would be fantastic. Or rivals/enemies, lol. A patron for her could be fun, if someone is interested. But yeah, I’d love to plot some things out, and I’m always happy to start threads!

GEORGE BURNS

January 20, 1896

George Burns was born Nathan Birnbaum on January 20, 1896 in New York City, the ninth of 12 children born to Jewish immigrants from Poland. He was one of the few entertainers whose career successfully spanned vaudeville, radio, film, and television. His arched eyebrow and cigar-smoke punctuation became familiar trademarks for over three-quarters of a century.

He got started in show business with the Pee-Wee Quartet singing on ferryboats, in saloons, in brothels, and on street corners. He formed a vaudeville act specializing in comedy, songs and dances with his first wife, Hannah Siegel.  The marriage lasted twenty-six weeks. Burns' second wife and famous partner in their entertainment routines was Gracie Allen. 

“I remember looking down at her, looking right into her green eye and her blue eye, and thinking what a pretty little girl she is. I was hoping she'd work with me.” ~ George Burns  

The pair had great success on radio and translated that success to film with a series of shorts for Vitaphone. The first was “Lambchops” in 1929. 

Their first foray into television brought their radio show to the small screen with “The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show” (1950-58) completing 292 episodes on CBS TV, running concurrently with “I Love Lucy.”  The show co-starred Bea Benadaret, who had played Iris Atterbury on Lucille Ball’s radio show “My Favorite Husband.” Lucy and Desi offered her the role of Ethel Mertz, but Benadaret had already committed to Burns and Allen, so could only manage a single appearance, as Miss Lewis in “Lucy Plays Cupid.” 

In November 1952, George Burns and Lucille Ball appeared on the same show with “Stars in the Eye” a special celebrating the opening of CBS’s Television City.  The two did not share any scenes together. 

Lucy and George also appeared on the same bill for two television birthday shows: “The Jackie Gleason Show: At 65” (1957) and “A Tribute to Eleanor Roosevelt on Her Diamond Jubilee” (1959).

In August 1964 Burns’ life was shaken when Gracie Allen died of a heart attack at age 64.  

Lucille Ball opened the fifth season of “The Lucy Show” with a guest appearance by George Burns, playing himself. Burns wants to open an account at the bank, if Lucy will do an act with him! 

On March 20, 1968, George Burns did a one-line cameo in “Jack Benny’s Carnival Nights” a special which also featured Lucille Ball, although the two did not share the screen. Burns played Martine the Bearded Lady. He says that Mary [Livingstone, Jack’s wife] was supposed to do it, but he is Jack’s best friend. He corrects himself: was his best friend.  

In “Jack Benny’s New Look” (1969), the roles were reversed and it was Lucille Ball who did the uncredited cameo, with Burns joining Benny and Gregory Peck (center) in a song and dance routine. 

In addition, the two were also billed together (though did not interact) in the documentary film All About People (1967) and “The Dean Martin Christmas Special” (1968). 

In November 16, 1970, Lucy and George joined “The Bob Hope Show: Bringing Back Vaudeville” on NBC.  

A week later, Burns will did a cameo appearance on “Here’s Lucy”. Burns is only on screen for a minute in an episode that concentrates on guest star (and Burns’ pal) Jack Benny. 

And the week after that, they both (again without sharing any screen time) appeared on “Swing Out Sweet Land”, a patriotic special in which Ball voiced The Statue of Liberty and Burns did a cameo as himself. 

George, Lucy, and Carol Burnett were all in the interview chair on a February 23, 1971 installment of “The David Frost Show.”

In March, Burns and Ball were back with Benny on “Everything You Wanted to Know About Jack Benny But Were Afraid to Ask” aired March 10, 1971. Lucy plays a young starlet who climbs to the top of the show business food chain. Burns and Benny track their friendship began - although it is highly fictionalized! 

On “Circus of The Stars II” Lucille Ball was the ringmaster and George Burns performed magic, although once again, they were never on screen at the same time. 

Ball and Burns finally sat down together on screen in “CBS: On The Air” a celebration of fifty years of the network on March 26 & 27, 1978.   

On May 10, 1978, Ball and Burns took the dais for “The Dean Martin Celebrity Roast: Jimmy Stewart”. 

For the next ten years, George Burns an Lucille Ball appeared together (but not always together) on various Bob Hope specials, and tribute show, including

In 1976 George burns career had a re-birth when he won an Oscar for playing one of The Sunshine Boys. He was also introduced to a new generation playing the title role in Oh, God! (1978) and its 1984 sequel Oh, God! You Devil.  

He died at the age of 100.
