在近日的业内电源展会上,英飞凌公布了最新的氮化镓材料应用,一款功率为65W的USB PD充电器。
它的功率器件采用了第三代半导体材料氮化镓(GaN),由英飞凌自家研发生产,称之为“CoolGaN”。
英飞凌的这款新品则支持输出5-20V电压输出,AC 90V满载输出效率高达93%,单位功率密度更是高达20W每平方英尺,可帮助大功率电源实现小型化和轻薄化。

氮化镓的应用范围非常广,包括半导体照明、激光器、射频领域等,应用在电源类产品上可以在超小的体积上实现大功率输出,改变行业设计制造方案、改变消费者使用习惯。
在此之前,Anker已经发布了全球首款采用氮化镓材料的充电器,体积小巧,但输出功率达到了27W。
目前氮化镓材料的快充充电设备越来越多,距离大规模商用也越来越近了。
