But it's alright, they'll make it... They'll make it! She just has to get him to the nearest hospital before he freezes to death or finishes bleeding out, that's all. That's all...

Happy CoAi Solstice 2023! It’s not technically the 22nd here yet, but it is on the other side of the world so I’m posting my contribution now. I’m excited to see what our fellow shippers have in store for us, I’m sure they’re amazing! It’s been a lovely year for our ship! I hope the rest of it goes smoothly for y’all and that the new year treats you kindly <3

Midwinter

Summary: The nights are longer in the winter, yet sleep still eludes them. It’s what happens when only their bodies shrink, their minds are still plagued with too many burdens and fears. Here’s to hoping the winter solstice will bring a good night’s rest.

Could be alternately titled: Face It, Kudo Shinichi. Set in the same verse as How Many Minutes To Midnight, but it precedes the events that occur there. Can be read on its own.
