Were there other character you had in mind to be crown holders but changed your mind?

Well, see, the thing is I had originally come up with the Usurper AU as a bit of a 'plot' for a group of friends where we roleplay together with our OCs--Roleplay Verse, as I've noted, which is a setting where Star isn't actually the last lamb.

But I decided I also wanted to maybe flesh it out and make a version of it where Star was indeed the only lamb, and how things would shake out in that way. (And for the record, said friends are aware of this adaptation and fine w it)

In Roleplay Verse, the Yellow and Blue crowns are still taken up by Deckard and Mushroom-Posing-as-Sozo, but Green and Purple are taken by friends' OCs.

Before coming up with Deckard, however, Fox was very much a candidate for the Yellow crown, as you could probably assume. I just think his theming and such fits pretty well (In Roleplay Verse, we also have Lesser Crowns that are for the Deadly Sins that are more or less 'underlings' of the Major Crowns, and while Fox was considered for Gluttony, people's OCs took priority, so he ended up getting Pride in the end)

As RP Verse version of it came first, Green and Purple also didn't really come as naturally, as they were more or less the 'empty spaces' to fill after I transplanted some of the main ideas from RP Verse. Candidates bounced around from more OCs to minor NPCs (Earlier in consideration, I was wondering if I should add the Lesser Crowns into the mix as well, and of course Midas would have been a shoe-in for Greed, but eventually decided against it).

One genuine consideration I had for Purple was Kudaai, what with their weapon association, but as I developed Clauneck to be very hands-off and separated from everything, Kudaai became much the same--they're just a guy out there smithing weapons, leave them alone.

Another thought was Helob, because they're another NPC I like, and having the crown go from one spider to another would have been quite interesting/funny, honestly. (They were also a brief considering for the Yellow crown because I was thinking on not having Deckard be in this at all, like Star really WAS the Last Lamb, but I think by the point I actually decided I'd implement the AU to the blog, I had already done stuff with Deckard and didn't want to retcon something as major as that.)

I think I settled on the twins for Chaos relatively easily because I felt they had been underused, and I could use Chaos to emphasize their duality, and give them some more characterization/explore their relationship with Narinder.

As for Moth... Moth's a bit of an enigma for me, still, characterization wise. Not in the sense that I have Nothing for them, but again, I felt they didn't have a lot going for them in-game, so they could be pretty much ANYTHING I want them to be. However, I will say, their role with having the Purple crown is more steeped in the aspects of Knowledge than War, so it'll be interesting when they finally get some attention.
