I can't believe there's people saying Padme's political story has been ignored for years, like if it weren't three movies with her as the main political character, three books where we fully see her as the queen of Naboo and then senator in Coruscant, and A LOT of episodes from The Clone Wars where she's the main character or at least important.

While every Mon Mothma scenes, who happens to be the one becoming THE LEADER OF THE REBELION, was entirely delated from the only movie she was going to show up and we had to wait 10 years to properly see her character and other important characters like her, just like Bail Organa's scenes where he's literally founding the Alliance, were cuted and only left him as a sidekick in ROTS, and not even talking about Breha Organa, who I can almost bet, many of the people calling Padme "the mother of the rebelion" didn't even knew that Breha was the one of the idea to form an opposition to Palpatine and she was the one to fund it with help of other Senators like Senator Pamlo, Malpe, Vaspar, like?? REALLY?? REALLY?? Padme have had a good development for years even when her arc in ROTS is not the best, but she have had a good development and a good amount of it and content for years
