im sure its been said already but as the election draws near more and more liberals will come out of the woodwork to shame people with a conscience to give away their vote to the democrats for free. i'm already seeing posts saying "why aren't people more concerned about a trump presidency?" you want to know why? it's because people already know he's bad. everyone already knows what he is and what he's done and what he'll do. there's nothing to discuss. he's a racist despotic worm of a man. there's nothing else to say.
biden is currently president. the genocide is happening under his watch. he's the one funding isra*l and arming them; he's sidestepped congress more than once to give them weapons. by oct. 27, the biden administration already knew that "Israel was regularly bombing buildings without solid intelligence that they were legitimate military targets." the state department/biden have engaged in atrocity propaganda, cast doubt on the legitimacy of the death toll recorded by the gaza health ministry, and so on. the united states is currently in the process of trying to pin the "war in gaza" on netanyahu (see sen. schumer's speech) after months of backing blatant genocide as a means to act as if they're "doing something" about the genocide (Instead of, say, threatening to cut off all aid to israel with the condition that all hostilities in gaza, the west bank, and occupied jerusalem are halted immediately and permanently, allowing palestinians freedom to travel, allowing aid into gaza, etc etc etc.)
the long and short of it is that liberals view their own lives as being worth more than palestinians'. that's it. they'll vote for another 4 years of the guy ushering in genocide and supporting apartheid + settler colonialism because he isn't outright attacking them (despite various laws and rulings happening both at the supreme court level and at the local level all over the country that will endanger people). they'll settle for the illusion of safety and security and shame anyone with a conscience and accuse them of "supporting the republicans" when in an actual democracy you would be able to use your vote as leverage to extract concessions from those who want to be elected. that's how it's supposed to fucking work.
democrats are not owed people's vote. if biden loses, it will be biden's fault; it will be his campaign's fault; it will be the democrats' fault. trump is bad; the republicans are bad. we already know this. this is not an endorsement of either. but if democrats are too cowardly and feckless and servile to the motivations of the american empire and never do anything for their constituents then why the fuck should anyone vote for them. you want to get mad at someone, why don't you do something useful and stop worrying about team-sports with a purely selfish basis and start hounding the people in power who are supposed to serve you, the voter.

Rough WIPs / doodles for DnD Qalaari ! We haven't started our campaign yet but I’m taking that time to try to figure out how she might look a little ! I’m not quite There™ yet in terms of showing how heavy and massive she is and feels (I really want her to feel like a draft horse... but with horns, because minotaur >:^) )
Her minotaur design is mainly based on 1) her Charr design from GW2 and 2) an animal called a takin ! They’re big & extremely cute goats that live around the Himalayas.
I’m playing her as a Path of the Beast Barbarian - but she doesn't like raging so... it’ll be a tug of war between my and my DM to force me to use my full kit in fights >8^D
Last picture is a little drawing of her and @ependasketchpad ‘s super cool tough lady, Tarja ! They’re taking a bit of a rest and down time so that Qalaa can engrave Tarja’s tusks 😊

two funniest parts of the flatland tabletop rpg are the author going with the idea that a square using the term “consumed” as a euphemism for “executed” is literal, and that flatland has a “soylent green is people” situation going on… but also deciding that actually flatland should and DOES have vampires but that that is unrelated to the general societal cannibalism

Considering recent events have made this relevant again, I've been thinking for a while about the warlock/patron relationship that Laudna and Delilah have, because while it seems to be pretty antagonistic from Laudna's side, because Delilah, you know, had her murdered, Delilah seems to treat Laudna like she's her daughter.
For example, this is the conversation that Delilah and Laudna have during the Gnarlrock Incident:
Delilah: "Child, this... this is far too dangerous in your hands. I'll handle this"
Laudna: "Tell me what it is"
Delilah: "Shhhhh"
Laudna: "Tell me what it is"
Delilah: "I've taken care of it for you"
And then afterwards:
Laudna: "What did you do?!"
Delilah: "Ahhhhhh, don't worry, I've taken care of it"
Laudna: "How?"
Delilah: "And thank you"
Laudna: "Noooooo!"
While Laudna is pretty clearly demanding of Delilah to tell her what the gnarlrock is and then later, what she did with it, Delilah is treating Laudna almost like a young child that's gotten ahold of something they shouldn't. She lets her know the object is dangerous, and then takes it away promising to take care of it, all the while refusing to explain anything and only providing shallow comfort that the situation is handled when Laudna presses her.
The way Delilah treats Laudna is also quite reminiscent of the way she treated Cassandra de Rolo, a woman Delilah said "could have been [her] daughter". There's manipulation, there's control, and both of these women where victims of Delilah's reign in Whitestone, but Delilah seemed to consider how she treated Cassandra to be motherly.
Finally, there's the conversation Delilah has with the Hells while they're trying to separate the two during the period Laudna was dead. In the middle of the conversation Delilah says: "If you truly do love your friend than trust that I carry the same care for her that you do." While part of why she said this was almost certainly to manipulate the Hells into bringing her back alongside Laudna, I think she was also being sincere on some level. I think Delilah really does thinks she care for Laudna in the way the Hells do. She doesn't treat her well by any means, when she's not manipulating Laudna she's treating her like a child instead of an adult, but I think in Delilah's mind she's caring for Laudna the way any mother would care for her child.

narrator, confirming: “its CEO, naven”
