Abigail "Abby" Whistler / Hannible King
Blade: Trinity (2004 film)
The Nightstalker's were supposed to get a spin-off movie or tv series but obviously it never came to fruition. Even if it had it likely wouldn't have cast these two as the returning actors for a tv series, maybe a movie though and that would have been awesome. I always pictured them raising Zoe together.
Blade: Trinity is the only gay movie Marvel has ever made and personally I think we should be grateful that it began and ended right there. I mean I do appreciate casting Parker Posey and John Michael Higgins as your flamboyant villains, and I'm sure plenty of gay men appreciate the fact that no cloth seemed to stick to the chests of either Ryan Reynolds or Dominic Purcell. Not to mention I applaud them for actually including a fairly significant plot point about Abigail Whistler seemingly having a wife (played by none other then Natasha Lyonne) killed by and a kid kidnapped by vampires. But yeah, I'm glad it was a once over so I never had to care about the MCU.
This is a Movie Health Community evaluation. It is intended to inform people of potential health hazards in movies and does not reflect the quality of the film itself. The information presented here has not been reviewed by any medical professionals.
Blade: Trinity has machine gun fire in dark environments, multiple scenes where the room lights flicker, and a minor strobe effect that happens as people disintegrate, which happens several times. The first scene has an unpredictable, extreme, and pointless strobe effect. There are brief strobe effects in the stylized opening and closing credits.
There is some peril at extreme heights. Outside of some fast camera work during action scenes, all of the camera work in this film is either stationary or very smooth.
Flashing Lights: 10/10. Motion Sickness: 2/10.
TRIGGER WARNING: A lot of blood is shown. Late in the film, three dogs are implied to die, with no resolution of whether or not they actually do.

What was chaotic about Blade Tinity? I love the movie.
Oh where do I start?
Wesley Snipes was not happy with Jessica and Ryan being add and taking his screen time. He was forced to do the movie contractually.
Wesley does method acting and was always on character when he wasn't fighting with the director. Apparently called Ryan a cracker during the whole fshooting, try to strangle the director, would only communicate by post-it. He refused to open his eye in one scene, so they used awful CGI to do it 😭.
At least the crew loved her.
She truly had the worst luck between this and the mess of Nailed right before DOR became Oscars favorite.
I watched the John Wick trilogy. Well listened to it mostly. (I worked overnight and wanted something to help with the quietness.)
I swear to Ra, Hollywood really needs to change their sets a lot more then they do. In the third movie, the one fight in the glass area of the hotel/building? Looked exactly like the one from Blade: Trinity where they are fighting Dominic Purcell’s character and other vampires. The only difference is the lightning and the decorations. That’s the only difference I noticed.
Hollywood, build better sets or change them up more! Please and Thank You!
