I really wish Crocker's official backstory had been "Crocker had his fairies between ages 10 and 18 and was the only godkid to ever have them that long before Timmy came into the picture; the reason that he's obsessed with finding them is because 8 years of his memories were altered.... and ooh, spooky, Timmy might be next."

It would have added a lot of intensity to Timmy's life if he was desperate not to lose his fairy family because he loves them and will do anything for them, including wishing to freeze time for 50 years, but at the same time there's this looming idea of "You're going to end up like Crocker, you're going to be the next crazy teacher, you're sealing your own fate," and that would have been amazing.

I write canon-compliant 'fics using "Secret Origin of Denzel Crocker" for his backstory, but if I were to do some sort of lore tweak fic, I'd totally go with this idea. It's haunting and perfect.

all of them absolutely hating their tiny little teenage bodies. appearing in them and being like 'why am I suddenly super self-conscious and uncomfortable? why does everything feel slightly off when I move? why are all my thoughts happening so quickly?' and finally realising they're back in a pubescent body and they're just like 'oh I see, I'm in hell'

all of them trying to take this seriously, arguments on the rise, but they just can't because they're all so tiny and silly looking. especially Dick, who has suddenly lost like, almost three feet worth of height.

Crock pot method is definitely even easier than on-stove method. Especially with the last one--put the dye, copper mordant, and fiber in the pot, let it cook on low for about a day until the water is colorless. Doesn't get any simpler than that.

you guys are talking about peeling chicken nuggets but has anyone else bite around the carrot center? like i eat the outer thicker layer then the thinner part, i saw my sister do it when i was younger now its just the way i eat them

I do that when I'm bored sometimes just for fun, but I like sauce a lot and I'm usually dipping my whole carrot in ranch or creamy italian before chomping the whole thing

That's if I'm eating them raw though, carrots in a good bone broth stew, cooked JUST enough to be soft but not enough to be mushy, is a religious experience.
