Implementing a loyalty program that sustains and stands-out!
Tumblr media
Businesses today are not wanting to be left behind without a loyalty program. The number of loyalty programs in the market is surging so fast that it appears to be becoming a rat race showing no symptoms of slow-down.
Given such a boisterous scenario, business leaders are concerned about two fundamental questions:
• Will my program be worthwhile? • How to make it stand out?
The answers to the questions above lie in the ability to craft or design the program around your brand. It takes a tremendous amount of knowledge/expertise in the field, in addition to being sensitive, to cater to your exclusive needs. Putting oneself in customers’ shoes and visualizing their aspirations are critical.
A well-implemented loyalty program should fulfill some or many of the following: • enrich customer takeaways (not just products/points) • transform brand perception in terms of availability, quality, and serviceability • inspire to attain higher brand-recall • trigger a strong word of mouth/referrals • consistent engagement with the brand • increase recency, frequency, and monetary (RFM) factors • uphold customer’s values and preferences
The design of a good loyalty program must provide for capitalizing on customer lifetime value (CLTV). The customer journey shall be smooth and a warm experience, as unique to your brand and your offerings. The use of appropriate technologies will further help make their touchpoints available on-demand, including loyalty-care operations. With the high adoption rate of digital technologies today more than ever, loyalty programs are now easily accessible and understood even by people who are not so tech-savvy. Such innovative programs cut across different classes of society and, to a great extent, meet their expectations tangibly.
To conclude, loyalty is a very powerful program. Progressive organizations look up to loyalty as the means, and not the end by itself. It makes complete sense to view loyalty as a mid/long-term strategic initiative rather than operational.

Introducing POINTS PLUS: Revolutionizing Retail Loyalty Programs
In an era where customer loyalty can make or break a business, innovative approaches to incentivize and reward consumers are paramount. Enter POINTS PLUS, a pioneering loyalty program designed to elevate the retail experience for both retailers and shoppers alike. More than just a points system, POINTS PLUS represents a paradigm shift in how businesses engage with their customers, fostering lasting relationships built on mutual benefit and satisfaction.
At its core, POINTS PLUS is a comprehensive platform that seamlessly integrates into retailers' existing operations, offering a range of features tailored to meet the evolving needs of today's marketplace. Whether it's a brick-and-mortar store or an online e-commerce platform, POINTS PLUS provides retailers with the tools they need to drive customer engagement, increase sales, and cultivate brand loyalty.
For consumers, POINTS PLUS promises a rewarding shopping experience like no other. Gone are the days of fragmented loyalty programs with limited benefits. With POINTS PLUS, shoppers have access to a unified rewards ecosystem that spans across multiple retailers, allowing them to earn and redeem points seamlessly across their favorite brands. From exclusive discounts and promotions to personalized offers based on purchasing behavior, POINTS PLUS empowers consumers to maximize the value of their shopping experience.
One of the key differentiators of POINTS PLUS is its emphasis on customization and flexibility. Unlike traditional loyalty programs that follow a one-size-fits-all approach, POINTS PLUS enables retailers to tailor rewards and incentives to suit the unique preferences and behaviors of their customer base. Whether it's offering bonus points on specific products, organizing member-only events, or providing personalized recommendations, POINTS PLUS empowers retailers to deliver a personalized shopping experience that resonates with their customers on a deeper level.
Moreover, POINTS PLUS leverages cutting-edge technology, including artificial intelligence and data analytics, to optimize performance and drive results. By harnessing the power of data, retailers can gain valuable insights into consumer behavior, preferences, and trends, allowing them to make informed decisions that drive business growth. From identifying emerging market opportunities to refining marketing strategies, POINTS PLUS provides retailers with the tools they need to stay ahead of the curve in today's competitive landscape.
But perhaps the most compelling aspect of POINTS PLUS is its focus on building genuine relationships between retailers and consumers. In an age where trust and authenticity are paramount, POINTS PLUS fosters a sense of community and belonging, where customers feel valued and appreciated for their loyalty. By rewarding repeat purchases and incentivizing engagement, POINTS PLUS creates a virtuous cycle of loyalty that benefits both retailers and consumers alike.

FIND OUT ALL THE LATEST INSIGHTS RELATED TO REWARDS
You know that customer loyalty is essential for the growth and success of your business. Rewards play a critical role in any loyalty program, and staying up-to-date with the latest insights related to rewards is vital to creating a program that resonates with your customers. Let’s take a look at some of the latest insights related to rewards and how they apply to your business.
Personalization is key Personalization is all about tailoring rewards to your individual customers’ preferences and behaviors. For example, if you run an online clothing store, you might offer personalized rewards based on a customer’s favorite styles, colors, or brands. Or, if you run a coffee shop, you could offer personalized rewards based on a customer’s favorite drinks or the time of day they usually visit.
A great example of personalization in action is the rewards program by a popular coffee brand. The program uses customer data to offer personalized rewards and recommendations based on a customer’s purchase history and preferences.
Gamification is a popular trend Gamification can make earning rewards more engaging and fun for your customers. For example, you might offer points, badges, or leaderboards to encourage customers to engage more with your loyalty program. A great example of gamification in action is the Insider program by a popular beauty brand, which uses a points system to incentivize customers to make more purchases.
Social media can be a powerful tool Social media is a great way to promote your loyalty program and reward offerings. You can use social media to create buzz around your rewards offerings, share customer success stories, and even offer exclusive rewards to followers. A great example of social media in action is the Chipotle Rewards program, which regularly promotes its rewards offerings on social media and offers exclusive rewards to its followers.
Tiered rewards programs are effective Tiered rewards programs offer different levels of rewards based on a customer’s engagement with the program. For example, you might offer bronze, silver, and gold levels, each with different rewards and benefits. A great example of a tiered rewards program in action is the one, which offers different levels of rewards based on a customer’s annual spending.
Flexibility is important Customers value flexibility when it comes to loyalty program rewards. They want to be able to choose the rewards that are most meaningful to them, whether that’s cash back, discounts on future purchases, or access to exclusive events. A great example of flexibility in action is that, which offers customers a variety of reward options, including cash back, discounts, and personalized deals.
In conclusion, implementing personalized, gamified, and flexible rewards in your loyalty program, promoting it on social media, and including tiered rewards programs are all effective ways to increase customer engagement and loyalty. By staying up-to-date with the latest insights related to rewards, you can create a loyalty program that truly resonates with your customers and drives long-term growth for your business. Markle's Folly by u/C-La-Canth
Markle's Folly Today, I watched a movie based on the show Downton Abbey. For those who don't know, it's a British series set at a beautiful English manor in the early 20th century which depicts the lives of the aristocrats who live there and their domestic staff. The movie I saw takes place in 1927, and the plot revolves around a visit to the estate by King George V and his wife, Queen Mary. King George was Queen Elizabeth's grandfather, and the movie (although fictitious) takes place when Elizabeth would have been a baby. As I watched this sumptuous show (which won more Emmys than any other international program ever), all I could think about was how profoundly stupid and shallow MM is. Of course, the show's story happened a century ago, and some of the customs and formality have fallen out of fashion. Just the same, the excitement and respect that the citizens had for their King and Queen, and the dedication and loyalty they exhibited is similar to what people still feel. I remember seeing the Queen years ago at the Highland Games at Braemar. Her carriage made a loop around the field, and to see her sweet smile and royal wave was absolutely thrilling. Anyway, every time I think about how Meghan, that loathsome, festering pustule of a human being, had a one-in-eight-billion chance to meet HLMTQ, chat with her, live amongst the priceless treasures of those amazing properties, participate in one of the world's most historically rich environments, to listen and learn from a gracious and wise woman who'd met the most prominent leaders of the 20th and 21st century......I literally feel nauseated. I don't think there is anyone else in history who has squandered more privilege and opportunity. Harry forfeited it, but at least he knew what he was losing. But I don't think for even one nanosecond could Meghan stop feeding that insatiable ego of hers. She was so intoxicated with her own sense of importance and value (I am talking lunatic level here) that she was incapable of appreciating the potential treasure she was gifted. I don't know of any human who has fallen as far as Meghan Markle has for such petty reasons. I am also convinced that she is the worst kind of coward: when faced with the relatively minor task of adjusting to a new lifestyle, she fled (with her insipid dolt of a husband), and she tried her best to punish everyone else for her own weakness and failures. I don't know how a normal person can operate knowing how much damage they've done like she has, but then again---I don't think she is normal. post link: https://ift.tt/40lfBU2 author: C-La-Canth submitted: May 01, 2024 at 05:04AM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit disclaimer: all views + opinions expressed by the author of this post, as well as any comments and reblogs, are solely the author's own; they do not necessarily reflect the views of the administrator of this Tumblr blog. The Cover Letter Toolbox
Or, how to write cover letters while autistic.
One of the autistic traits I have is difficulties with what's called "expressive language" - I don't think in words, and putting my thoughts into words takes a lot of time and effort. For me, going straight from a blank page to a full sentence that makes sense is difficult, and making that sentence sound professional is even harder. So I came up with a way to avoid starting from a blank page. This is what I do instead.
When I've read a job posting and decided I want to apply, I start by making a list of qualifications and things from the job posting that I have or can do, just a list of words or short phrases like
Customer service experience Scheduling Microsoft Office
Then I go under each of those list items and make it into a full sentence.
Customer service experience: I have five years of experience in customer service.
Once I have the most basic version of that sentence, I think about details that I can add to it. The point of a cover letter is two things-
to summarize the things from your resume that are relevant to this job, so the person doing the hiring doesn't have to read the whole thing and connect the dots themselves.
to add details and explain things that might not be in your resume.
So some details that I want to add here are that I didn't just talk to customers myself for five years, for part of that time I was a manager responsible for training other people to give good customer service. And I was good at that- we always got good results on our customer surveys, and we also always hit our goals for stuff like signing people up for the loyalty program. So now I've got a second sentence:
As the [job title] with [company], I trained our entire team on how to best serve our customers and helped ensure that my location had the best results in the region for customer loyalty.
Another thing from the job posting that I want to address with this bit is that the job I'm applying for involves helping people over the phone a lot. So I want them to know that even though my experience is in a different environment (retail instead of an office front desk) I did still have to answer phone calls and help people over the phone. This is the type of detail that's not in my resume and that someone wouldn't necessarily guess, but I really did answer a lot of phone calls working in retail.
I also added a little bit of Flavor, so it's not just assisting customers, it's "welcoming, respectful assistance". Yes, I did try like five different words there before picking these ones. Usually I look back to the job posting and pick something that relates to what they've said they want. But I find it a lot easier to figure out details like this after I have the basic structure.
This is what I ended up with for my Bit About Customer Service:
I have five years of experience in customer service, providing welcoming, respectful assistance to customers over the phone and in person. As the [job title] with [company], I trained our entire team on how to best serve our customers and helped ensure that my location had the best results in the region for customer loyalty.
If I really wanted to add a lot of detail, I'd put numbers in here- how big "our entire team" was, what the "best results" were and how we were measuring it. But the position I'm applying for is with a small organization, and probably doesn't involve measuring sales in the same way, so I decided not to add that. If I was applying for another retail job, I'd include those things.
I repeat this same process with each of the qualifications from my list, copy-paste each of those bits in order of how important they are, and then I need an opening and a closing. For the opening, I start by stating the obvious.
Dear hiring manager, I am applying for/interested in/etc. [this position]
and then I apply my school-essay-writing techniques and do a one-sentence preview of the qualifications I just got done writing about.
I am confident I have the customer service skills, computer expertise and organized mindset to excel in this position.
For the closing, this job posting specifically mentioned putting your contact information in your cover letter, so I did that, and then I like to thank them for looking at my application because that's a nice polite note to end on.
I can be reached at [contact info]. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application, and I look forward to hearing from you. [signature]
Extra Bonus Brownie Points:
Go to their company website and add something that shows you have looked at their company website. Like yes, the main reason you're applying for this job is it's available and you need money, but besides that, there's gotta be something at least a little interesting about this company that might be cool if you get to work for them. In this case they had a whole big section about charities they donate to and how they get involved in their local community, so I added this right before my closing:
[this company's] contributions to charities such as [things from their website] are truly admirable. I've grown to love [this city] since moving here, and I would be honored to be part of an organization that does so much to contribute to the community.
Now wait before you go here's the important part:
I don't delete any of this stuff.
I copy/paste out the finished bits into a new document to send to the recruiter, but I keep that list of qualifications with sentences under each one.
Now I have a document with a list of qualifications I have and nice professional-sounding descriptions of those qualifications, and for the next cover letter I write, I can reuse them if they're relevant, so I don't have to redo all this work of making words make sense. If I decide to change them a little bit for the next job, I'll keep the new version next to the old one under the same heading. I also keep my openings and closings.
I used to have a big file like this but I apparently didn't back it up before my old computer died, so I'm having to re-create it, but you guys this saves me so much time I would otherwise spend staring at a blinking cursor. And it's easier than saving the full finished cover letter and trying to pull sentences out of it, because all the Bits are already organized by topic. (And it lowers the risk of accidentally copy-pasting the wrong company's name.)
I <3 my cover letter workbox.

Rewriting Cora
Because I actually like her and I think her character had some potential that just got wasted. Here are my thoughts on what I'd do to make Cora a more compelling character
Tumblr media
Make her an asari. She had an asari mother and a human father. She was born on Earth and her asari mom ditched her and her dad not long after giving birth, so Cora spent her life on Earth, in all ways except physical she is a wolf a human. She grew up among humans, surrounded by human customs, human history. She never had much contact with her asari heritage.
The Alliance wouldn't accept her because she's an asari, the asari aren't too welcoming either since she's so human. Finally her dad managed to get her into a program with asari huntresses which is not a big deal in any way, it is an asari government program for asari whose parents weren't upstanding citizens - a program for children of Omega dancers and asari raised away from asari culture. They can learn about asari history, culture and get one foot into the asari military.
While Cora is in the program, her dad disappears, never to be seen or heard from again.
I remember ideas floating about that Cora's father was the Illusive Man. I don't remember if it ever was confirmed but I am integrating that into my belief system. He disappeared because he managed to snag a high position in Cerberus/created the organization (whichever works best with the timeline). Having an asari daughter wasn't a good look for him anymore, so he disappeared himself but kept tabs on his daughter. Cora has no idea. The player should be able to piece it together from codexes.
After the program is done, Cora is left even more alone. Culturally human, she's fascinated with her asari heritage. Still neither military will take her in. Her father is gone.
The Illusive Man sends info on Cora to Alec Ryder who recruits her for the Initiative - he's not gonna pass up such a powerful biotic. Cora latches onto him as a father figure. TIM is thrilled cause that means Cora's safe from the Reapers and is no longer a threat to his position (what is someone who finds out about her gonna say? He has an asari daughter who left for a different galaxy?)
I'd then leave a lot of the things from the game as they are, I'd just add a few dialogues and comments from her about how she thinks Ryder's dad or Sarissa would do smth differently than Ryder just did.
In Cora's loyalty mission, I'd add a conflict between Sarissa and Ryder. She wants to do smth way A, Ryder way B. Ryder finally says that since they're the only one who can do anything rn, they're gonna do it their way and Sarissa can complain to Tann later. Cora blows up at them. It turns out, of course, that Ryder's way was the right one and if they went with Sarissa's idea, the ark would go up in flames. They still learn that she sacrificed her Pathfinder.
Cora realizes, as she does in the game, that she would've been a bad Pathfinder as she doesn't find, just follow. We should also have her realizing that, especially in Heleus, can be proud of both her human and asari heritage.

092. What emotion does your character evoke in others?
090. How bodily expressive is your character?
076. How do they express anger?
054. Does your character want power or authority of any kind?
040. What is their obsession?
For bupphiat.
@empyyreal wants to know about BUPPHIAT!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
092. What emotion does your character evoke in others?
That's a mixed bag. For many, annoyance. Bupphiat has the mentality of a bratty middle school kid and the position of power they have and are working towards only inflates their ego. They bear the reputation of being the loud one out of the bishop triplets, and the super in your face gamer persona they have within the Inner Circle does not aide this.
But they are also known to evoke a feeling of safety, they're charismatic, and as such can make people feel closer to them than they are in actuality. Bupphiat is a 'people person', as they would put it. They're scary good at reading people's moods and knowing exactly what role to play in the moment to get a desired response.
I suppose the easiest (and probably most accurate) answer would be: it depends who you ask.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
090. How bodily expressive is your character?
Again, a tricky question. Yes, they are very outwardly/bodily expressive. They have very loud, very intense reactions, but a lot of that is an exaggeration. Much of Bupphiat is.....as one could probably guess from the last response.....tailored to get a desired outcome out of a situation. When it comes to their ACTUAL emotions, they tend not to be as loud or in your face.
Especially negative emotions specifically, they try their best to circumnavigate and avoid them altogether. Bupphiat does not do negative emotions, much less letting anyone else see them experiencing them. There's really no way to prevent it 100% of the time (especially if they're with someone a lot) but even in situations they DON'T want to be so expressive – they still kind of are. They got big feelings.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
076. How do they express anger?
Again. Negative emotion. But it depends on the situation, why they're angry as well as their options. Unlike the form they're under, Bupphiat's anger isn't explosive, or expressed in fits of violence (necessarily). Bupphiat's anger is slow brewing, deep beneath the surface, and more often than not it's bottled. It's not a matter of if but rather, when it surfaces Bupphiat can be outright CRUEL at times.
They make calculated decisions to do whatever they feel would hurt the recipient most in the moment. Not exactly a behavior pattern they're super PROUD of, mind you, but it's their response nevertheless.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
054. Does your character want power or authority of any kind?
Put simply: yes. Like the other triplets under Kyeper, Bupphiat was created for a purpose. They were, by design, made to custom-fit the role of HEAD BISHOP of Ruse's timelines. Even down to their persona, they fill a role similar to the (intended) function of the Ruse form, and they're to grow and learn with their respective form.
While the nature of their existence may not be something DIRECTLY expressed to them, they are compelled to climb ranks, they're compelled to accumulate power, and ultimately, compelled to fill the role they were created to take. More than that, they're fully aware they have EXACTLY what it takes to get there.
Like loyalty to Eshu starself, which comes hardwired into each celestial, they're wholly and entirely loyal to the Bishop Program; ultimately, with their power they hope to be able to support Ruse and their following.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
040. What is their obsession?
Power. Bupphiat is power-hungry to a fault and has a massive ego to boot. Bupphiat is someone who is hyperaware of their position above MOST not even just in Eshu's following, but in general. Be it accumulating power or having power over others, that the closest thing to a TRUE obsession that I can confidently say Bupphiat has. But overall? I would say Bupphiat can be an obsessive person in general.
They are someone who is also known to get obsessed with people, too. You think Bupphiat would be NORMAL about wanting a dynamic of any kind with someone? No. They're crazy. The (un)lucky recipient of Buppi's obsession is....... drumroll please....... FOWLER! Congratulations on losing your entire sanity!

Flying Minds - The Defunct Cyberchase Merch Empire (part 1)
So, I fell down a bit of a rabbit hole recently. I started looking into a long-defunct company called Flying Minds that had an association with Cyberchase. It all started when I was looking at my DVD of Ecohaven CSE and found this.
Tumblr media
Calling all Cyberchase fans... For your exclusive Cyberchase download, check out www.flyingminds.com
Limited Time offer!
Promo Code VID05
There were some free downloadable items available on the actual pbskids.org website back in the day. There were a few downloadable flash-based screensavers and a calculator voiced by Bianca. These have been preserved on the Flashpoint Archive. However, I have no idea what this exclusive download from flyingminds.com would have been. I would be very curious if it was still circulating today. Unfortunately, it seems very unlikely that it would have been preserved by WayBack Machine archives, since you needed to put in a promotional code to get it.
Regardless, I started looking into the archives of the flyingminds website to see what they had to do with Cyberchase. It turned out that they sold a bunch of Cyberchase-branded products back in the day. Before I get to that though, I figure I should set the scene for what Cyberchase merch looks like today. Here is the official PBS kids store.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's mostly clothing. We can see shirts, hoodies, baseball caps, and a tote bag. We can see some stuff themed after the 20th anniversary of the show, while other stuff is more generic. I've seen the exact same catalogue on a site called merchmake, so perhaps this is who the current show-runners contracted the merch out to.
I also found some more baggage on a site called personalized planet. While this isn't the official PBS Kids store, I'm pretty sure this is legitimate.
Tumblr media
I'm only including stuff that I believe is official. I'm not talking about Etsy here, since that tends to be unofficial fan-works. I'm also not talking about Redbubble, since its so infamous for art theft.
So, that's about it for official Cyberchase merch in the present day. There's not very much of it. However, if wind the clock back to 2005 when Flying Minds was active, things were very different. They had a partnership with Thirteen/WNET New York to bring out a much wider variety of Cyberchase merchandise. Let me show you through Wayback Machine archives. Unfortunately, much of their catalog photos were not archived, but I'll see what I can do to supplement. I think the best place to start here is with Flying Minds's own explanation as to what they were doing with Cyberchase.
Tumblr media
Begin
What is Flying Minds? Established in October 2004, Flying Minds is a partnership between C&T Ventures and Thirteen/WNET New York working together to bring you cool, innovative products that will engage your children in a world of fun learning. Flying Minds has teamed up with Thirteen/WNET's acclaimed children's program, Cyberchase, to be your online store for Cyberchase gear, including school supplies, apparel, games and toys. As co-producer of this award-winning show, we are very proud to be a part of the Cyberchase family and will continue to work closely with the creators of the program to bring you exclusive products for many years to come.
In keeping with our mission to provide "Cool Stuff for Clever Kids" (and adults too), Flying Minds is committed to making your visit to our site an enjoyable experience. To this end, we will continue to develop and seek out quality products, activities and services (both fun and educational) that meet our demanding standards. Whether through information to help kids learn about financial literacy or a loyalty program where kids and adults can spend or save points, our goal is to grow Flying Minds into a company that provides an interactive and entertaining experience for our customers.
Most importantly, your purchases at www.flyingminds.com help to support Cyberchase and Public Television. For cool activities and to learn more about Cyberchase, visit www.pbskidsgo.org/Cyberchase/.
End
Most archives I have found of the site are from 2005. Unfortunately, it seems that Flying Minds didn't last very long after all. I know that some of their Cyberchase products are considered collector's items now, and they can get expensive.
Their most famous product is the sole official Cyberchase plush toy, Digit. He's my co-producer for this Tumblr blog.
Tumblr media
Let's see what we can gather from the remnants of their site.
The first section on the list is "School Supplies" This was originally two pages, but it seems like only the first page of this section was archived at all. Even then, the pictures from the first page have not been saved.
Tumblr media
Just to be clear, the Digit plush that I have is not a backpack. I have only ever seen one size of this plush, so the listing for a "Digit Le Boid Plush Backpack with Accessories" is a bit confusing to me. I haven't seen any vintage Cyberchase backpacks or water bottles floating around either.
I did see a Worthpoint listing for a prior eBay sale of a pencil case, mechanical pencil, and stickers. The pencil case had Flying Minds branding on the back, so it looks like we can fill in that blank. It may have been part of the prizes for either the 2004 or 2005 Cyberchase Online Contests as well.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The next section to look at is the "Toys & Games" section. Once again, only the first page has been archived at all, and all of the images are missing.
Tumblr media
So, they talk about a clock with a stop watch, which they also refer to as a keychain. I haven't seen this exact item, but I have seen a Worthpoint listing for another vintage Cyberchase keychain.
Tumblr media
I also found a Worthpoint listing for that collector tin with 2 packs of playing cards, so we can document that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We've already talked about the famous Digit plush. I haven't seen any pictures of the "Super Cyber 100-Piece Floor Puzzle".
Next, we can look at the "Party Supplies" section. There are only two items in here.
Tumblr media
I was able to source a picture from pintrest showing an eBay listing for some Cyberchase party supplies. I assume these are the same ones that were sold through Flying Minds, as it was listed as a party set for 8.
Tumblr media
I can see napkins, stickers, plates, cups, and hats. I think I also see placemats (middle right), cards (bottom middle), wrapping paper (top right), and some sort of cardboard hanging decorations (bottom right).
Next, we can move on to the "Apparel" section. This is yet another section where only the first page was captured and the images were lost.
Tumblr media
Once again, we have those backpacks that I wasn't able to source. photos for. However, I was able to source photos from an eBay listing for the "Cyberchase Bad Guys Baseball Cap"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next, we get to look at the "DVDs, CDs, and VHS" section. Unfortunately, this section's original proud 4 pages have been cut down to a single page of entries with their pictures missing.
Tumblr media
Thankfully, these four DVDs are pretty well-circulated these days, so they aren't mysterious.
Tumblr media
The other half of site is marked as "Math and Money". However, it is a mixture of items that are branded Cyberchase and items that are not branded as Cyberchase, so I will go through them.
First, we have "Math and Money - Games".
Tumblr media
I actually figured out what "Moneywise Kid$" is, as the website for the developer, Strom Mfg., showcases the box.
Tumblr media
PayDay was a money-management board game that was originally released in 1974. With that in mind, I believe that Flying Minds would have been selling the 30th anniversary edition in 2004-2005.
Tumblr media
"Buy It RIght" was probably this board game version from 2002.
Tumblr media
This was probably what they were talking about with "Flip 4".
Tumblr media
We can move on to "Toys & Banks". Unfrotunately, I don't think contains the amazing bank that Slider assembled for "The Snelfu Snafu"
Tumblr media
I was able to find the Moonjar Classic Moneybox on Moonjar's website.
Tumblr media
The other items have such generic names that I won't be able to provide a definite answer.
Continued in part 2, as I hit the image limit.

Autumn Evenings
Tumblr media
Elizabeth Keane x reader Warnings: language, that's about it. just some nice fluff here folks. A/N: this takes place in the Little One universe, when Keane & yn have moved out to Boston and are living their best gay life. Covers the "reading by the fire" square for @adarafaelbarba 's bingo
The appeal of fall in Boston was one of the biggest reasons that you and Elizabeth had decided to move out there in the first place. With each year that passed, you were reassured that you had definitely made the right choice. The changing of the leaves, the satisfying crunch of one under your feet, the cooling air making the perfect excuse for a hot toddy, spiked apple cider or an extra cup of cocoa after dinner. You often joined in on the tourist fun, exploring through the city on your own sightseeing adventures, stopping in at a few orchards to pick apples and buy some of your favourite jams and preserves. You always took more time off work during the fall to make sure you had time to do all the extra activities, basking in the warmth of Elizabeth’s love.
Today, unfortunately, you did have to work and spent the day with paperwork piling over your desk, the pile seeming to never end. After you worked through your lunch you shot off a text to Elizabeth, mentioning that you were planning on working late, may as well make some OT on the rare days you actually went into the office. She replied saying she would make sure to have a plate of dinner kept warm for you, and to make sure you didn’t work too hard.
*
Elizabeth knew when you said you were working late that it would in fact, be rather late, not just an hour later than normal. You knew what it meant to work long hours from your time on her team at the White House where you were quite literally on call twenty-four seven. You had your own set of keys and alarm code to the firm, you’d likely be the last person to leave, so she knew she had more than enough time to kill. She herself had picked up a few hours at the book shop to keep herself occupied while you were working that afternoon, chatting with the owners as she perused through the shelves, relocating books and putting away a little bit of new stock. Her fingers danced over the spines of the classics, soft smile on her face as she decided what she was going to take home with her that evening. She enjoyed her little talks with customers, some regulars, some tourists or lucky people who had just discovered the shop.
Her favourites were the regulars, especially the ones involved in the loyalty program, who if they brought in five of their own books, they got one for free. She loved talking stories with them, what they loved about specific books, which ones kept them up all night needing to know what happened next, which ones had the greatest love stories and which ones make them sob in the best ways. She often found herself taking home the books they brought in, compelled in the excited way they’d spoken about it. Today her stack of books was certainly enough to get her through the next couple of months, the owner lightly teasing her about it as they gathered up their things at the end of the day to close up shop.
Elizabeth found her route home taking her past a pop up farmers market, casually strolling through the stalls as she looked through all the delicacies. She picked up a few things, some homegrown sweet potatoes, turnips, figs, a few treats, and some spiced apple infused rum, figuring it might be worth a shot. She spent some time chatting with a few of the vendors, a few of them recognizing her from around town, those little casual sort of friends that you make in every day life, and a couple that knew exactly who she was. She enjoyed those little talks, the ones where it wasn’t overly political, but still someone who could keep up, and thanked her for what she did for the country while she was in office. Eventually she said her goodbyes and made the rest of the trip home easily, settling into the house.
The air was chilly, wind whipping through the sky, blowing the coldness into the house and she could already feel the stiffness in her joints. She started dinner, leaving it in the oven before she wandered into the living room to build a fire in the stone fireplace, one of the major selling points when you’d bought the house. It kept you warm long into the night and in the cold months of the year, the crackling and sparking of the fires relaxing, the perfect way to wind down after a long day.
As stated, she wrapped a plate of dinner with tinfoil, leaving it in the barely on oven so it would still be warm by the time you got home before she ate hers. She poured out some of the spiced apple infused rum, taking a sip to make sure the apple wasn’t too strong before adding it into a mug of apple cider, picked up her stack of books and made her way back to the living room. Elizabeth settled in front of the fire on the couch, sliding her glasses on before pulling a thick blanket over her lap as she began to page through a few of the books, reading the first page before deciding which one she would start tonight.
She got lost in the book, whisked away into a fantasy world that she never would have thought she’d be interested in if it hadn’t been for the book’s original owner. The fire crackled every so often, the heat coming off it keeping her more than cozy as the night wore on, the weather taking a turn outside the windows as rain started to thunder down.
Just as she expected, you got home at nearly ten p.m. letting out a weary sigh as you kicked off your shoes, hung up your coat and dropped your bag on the entry table. You could hear the light crackling of the fire coming from the living room and couldn’t help but smile at the warmth flowing through the house. It wasn’t just the actual physical warmth, it was the fact that you were coming home to a homecooked meal, the woman you loved more than anything in the world a place where you would forever feel at peace. You noticed the pot of apple cider, flicking the burner on to reheat it, curiously checking out the bottle of rum as you did so. Cautiously pulling the plate of food out of the oven you swapped it over to a plate that wasn’t going to burn you, poured yourself a drink and followed the sounds of the fire into the living room.
You paused in the doorway, smiling fondly at the sight of Elizabeth curled up on the couch with her glasses, smile on her cheeks as she flicked the page whatever book she was lost in. While you sometimes hated working, moments like this made it all worthwhile because there was something so incredibly special about coming home to this on a semi regular basis. You moved through the room, pressing a kiss to the top of her head and she nearly jumped, letting out a little laugh as she came back to earth.
“Got a good one there don’t ya?” You asked with a slight tease in your voice as you settled onto the couch. Her finger marked the page she was on as she let the book fall shut, leaning in to greet you with a proper kiss, you managed to tilt the cover of the book towards you and raised a brow, “isn’t this for teenagers?” She let out a little chuckle,
“I suppose the girl that brought it in was on the younger side. But she made a very compelling argument, and I’d say more young adult.”
“Well it certainly had you enthralled.” You took your first bite of your dinner, “mmm… this is so fresh! Did you stop by the farmer’s market?”
“I did.” She smiled, “Lisa says hello and promises to put aside some of that coveted apricot jam when it’s back in season.” You let out an audible groan.
“Oh and I will buy all of it! I only hope we don’t run out before then.”
“I don’t think we will.” She chuckled, “there’s still a stash in the freezer.”
“Hmm…” you replied, taking a few more bites of food before you spoke again, “what else do ya got there?”
Her hand reached over to the pile, handing the books off to you and you sifted through them, examining the covers and reading the synopsis’s on the back of them while you finished your meal. The plate found its way onto the coffee table when you were done, letting out a happy sigh as your hand came to cup her cheek.
“Thank you for dinner.” You kissed her gently, “I love you.”
“I love you too little one.” She murmured softly, stroking at your cheek gazing lovingly at you for a moment before you let out a little giggle.
You snagged the blanket on her lap, unfolding it and tossing it over the both of you as you nuzzled into her side, one of the books she’d picked up that day in your hands. While Elizabeth did bring home the books for herself there was always one or two that managed to pique your interest and one of your favourite past times was curling up together at night reading.
Elizabeth’s arm wrapped around you, shifting so she could hold her book with one hand before pressing a kiss to the top of your head. She let out a little happy hum as you nestled deeper into her embrace and opened the book you’d chosen. It was nights like these, the fire burning, warmth flowing through the house and you in her arms that she loved the most. There would never be a doubt in her mind that you were her past, present and future, because all she needed was you, all she wanted was you, and she could always feel the love floating off you and straight to her.
It was nights like these that made the cooling days and chilly nights filled with warmth, love, and the love of her life and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
